Reading in front of a professional author
General | Posted 11 years agoI was selected to have some chapters read in front of a professional author of young adult fantasy, and adult novels, Richard Scrimger. I got a lot of useful comments on my first three chapters, including one that calls for translation of my text to graphic novel. My art isn't good enough to make the graphic novel work, however, I do know someone who could do the work. Taral Wayne has done a few comic books and many other illustrations for fanzines. Taral has actually illustrated a book by Rudy Rucker, which was some riff on Flatland. There is money to be had, but I am not there yet. I am getting closer, however.
Little flying skunks
General | Posted 11 years agoI have had positive feedback yet again, over a new chapter of my novel. I will have a reading in front of professional author Richard Scrimger on March 15th. I will be going back to my first chapter, since corrected by listening to many critics, a lot of whom made sense. Why drag someone in at the middle of a 503 page humorous young adult fantasy?
