Posted 9 years agoI finally finished the ARC inmate/slave file batch for this month.

This is a big full rubber with background pic. I have kind of pushed this one back again and again, and I apologize to Lithe who has a very cute fursona and been very patient. I keep pushing it back because I keep opening up smaller commissions which are usually paid up front, since I really need the money now.
But now its done!

This is a request for a full rubber toilet slavery pic, simple background.
Sorry Z, it might be a while before I get to yours because I really want to finish creeper and Lithe's first, even though yours would be quicker and easier.
EDIT: looks like you got it sooner than I thought!

Sorry again but it might be September before I even get started on yours, depending on how many hours a day I put into the above commissions.

Posted 9 years agoI will go back to doing shiny rubber, non ARC commissions as I'm noticing my gallery getting a bit too... samey. I want to mix it up and WILL be accepting general rubber commissions or even character sheets as soon as this batch is done. I spent a whole year not drawing anything, and I'm still getting my bearings as far as production and pricing.
If you have any ideas or want to commission me for something like that, post here and I'll give you a slot.
I do need to re-work my commission info page a bit, so stand by for that.

Worst Trip Ever: Vegas SUCKS! DONT EVER GAMBLE THERE!
Posted 9 years agoFuck las vegas and fuck airline travel! Now I don't even care that we have the ability to fly from one end of the country to another in one day. I'd rather take a fucking covered wagon train pulled by oxen.
But that aside, Vegas sucks!
My boyfriend really likes vegas, he used to go there a lot in the 80s and early 90s and he'd have a lot of fun. He's a slot player, and of course is a players club member and he's been platinum level on their systems for like, ever. He would play the slots and get plenty of play out of them. He'd even win big from time to time!
The first time he took me to Vegas was Caesars Palace. I was down to my last $16 then I hit 12x12x double bar on the 12x pay dollar slot, and won $5700. I was amazing. About half of it went back in, of course, but I had fun and enough money to pay some bills and buy a few nice things.
The next year we went I won about $2k off of a flaming 7s slot, and went home with about 1k extra.
The year after was a wash.
The year after that I lost $400 out of the $500 I took with me, but at one point I was up to $1000 and had some fun
The year after that I lost $300. (not entirely to slots, I play table poker too and usually win but I ran into some tough players and shitty deals)
From then on every trip was a loss, and the slots got tighter and tighter ever since. Now you can't even get mixed bars to line up on the dollar 3 reel slots. You can go 40 pulls with nothing but cherry hits every 10 or so.
Now, I don't like gambling, even though I enjoy taking chance shots because they can pay off big. But not with my money! I know the math behind gambling, I know what house edge means, and I have a fairly intuitive knowledge of statistical spread. I cannot bring myself to gamble if the odds aren't in my favor or at LEAST dead even. But they are not at a Vegas casino. Especially not on the strip. But it's hard not to play the slots when your boyfriend is sitting there doing it as well. And he lost way more than I did.
This trip was the last straw. We stayed at the Aria hotel/casino which by all accounts is one of the nicest. My BF got an offer for free food free room and $350 in free slot play, which was all gone on the first day! I did not want to go but the offer looked too sweet. Walking around looking at the tables, reading the pay schedules on video poker, and watching other slot players, the house edge is higher than ever before. Not a good business model since they just permanently lost two fairly high rollers.
Now the REAL complaints begin: The service at the ARIA sucked. They were either slow stupid or rude or had bad English. The suite was OK but the blackout curtains in the room did NOT keep the light out from the constant flashing signs outside. The toilet paper was one ply. ONE PLY. The remote for the TV had a ridiculously hard button press, and the response time between pressing a button was between 1 and two seconds. SECONDS. I get that they have a lot of them on the system, but damn. Two fucking seconds to go down literally one item in the guide. And there was no page down function. I don't watch TV much but he likes to watch the news, so I had to deal with that shit every time I turned it on (dialing in the specific channel was just as hard as scrolling to it)
If there's one thing I can't STAND is unresponsive controls. I'm a high level gamer and I'm used to things happening when I click and not two seconds down the line, so I might be a bit biased there.
The music at the Aria was extra loud compared to some of the other casinos we visited, and even at the pool there were speakers every 5 feet so it was REALLY hard to relax in the sun. (The weather was the only nice thing... not too hot not too cold.)
And Vegas as a whole sucks (well the strip at least. For reasons I wont state we couldn't go very far from our hotel, or off the strip.) The constant assault on the senses is really wearing. I don't know how anyone could stand working there! And in my case due to my autism (which I've largely overcome, by the way. Thanks mom and dad!) it was even worse, especially after being worn down by the losses and poor sleep. And also, in my case due to my empathy I could feel the bad energy of people losing all around me. I also felt the good, happy energy of people genuinely having a good time but that was infrequent, and mostly booze fueled anyways. And me and my BF had some stupid arguments and misunderstanding over NOTHING and I did not take it very well. He took it much better but for me it really lingered.
We also had free, comped show tickets because of how much money my BF and I lost over the past years, which is nice. So we went to see Cirque du Soleil's KA, easily one of the most boring and confusing CDC shows I have seen. Zarkana was WAY better but of course they ruined it by cutting the show's MC (the Zark, who had this awesome red outfit) entirely, making the whole narrative meaningless. On previous trips we saw the Beatles one, the Elvis one and the Michael Jackson one. The Elvis one was good, the Beatles one was pretty good too. The Michael Jackson one was OK, but kinda creepy at the end. But those all had good music (that were created by the three Great Musicians featured, no the CDC people.) KA didn't even have that, so a big thumbs down to KA.
And on the way to the Airport the cabbie took us the long, $12 extra fare way.
At leas the food was really good. But everything is overpriced. And everything is so... FAKE. It is like, the opposite of the nature that I need and love, and I felt crushed the whole time.
And the booze... everywhere. So much alcohol. And its even free if you are playing the slots or at a table with chips on the felt. Well I don't drink. Ever. Nightclubs bore me, all the stores had overpriced crap I don't want. In short, there is NOTHING there for me.
That isn't to say others can't enjoy the place but I must insist: DO NOT GAMBLE ON THE STRIP YOU WILL LOSE Table poker against other players is OK, I guess, since it really is a game of skill but I was playing so badly by the end I couldn't even pull THAT off.
I'm sure there's more but this journal is getting WAY too long.

Possible delay in commissions
Posted 9 years agoI have a pretty bad neck and shoulder injury. I don't know how I got it... maybe its from sitting at computer too long, maybe its the way I sleep.
One day I just woke up and there it was! It feels like there are shards of glass all over my right shoulder up to the neck (sharp pains that almost feel like nerve pinches) then there's the dull stiffness pain across the whole area down to the scapula. It feels like there's a bunch of duct tape on my skin over there.
It isn't getting better it is getting worse. It is now at the point where it is extremely distracting, and I just can't focus. Its all up and down my mouse arm, which is kind of a big problem.
I'm not asking for sympathy or anything... this is just to let you know that you might have to wait a little longer.
Also Im waiting on some more information from the first two on the list.

First batch underway!
Posted 9 years agoThanks to everyone who have shown such an interest in all of this! I really appreciate all the comments and questions!
It looks like I've got about a month's worth of work ahead of me here, so watch this space!
Also.... I updated my main page with some more info about The Center. What I wrote is by no means all there is.

Posted 9 years agoWell we landed safely got our luggage and made it home.
I am so relieved to find that my car wasn't towed, our house wasn't robbed and my computer still works
The drive home was very pleasant. The advantage of arriving super late in the day (I think it was 11:45" is that there's practically no one on the road and I happen to drive well at night; cannot say the same for my BF =( In a night guy.
I'm also a nice guy. I think I was being too harsh on the airlines for the delays, and I never blame the airPORT cause fuck, you have any idea what goes into running something like an AIRPORT? I'm amazed any of this works at all! But not surprised. Its pretty epic what humans can do when we all get together for a single purpose. Problem is, when you are stressed you lose all perspective. I mean, think about it. You are FLYING! In the SKY! Higher than any bird could ever hope to! I just traveled across the entire country in less than a day, and from southern Cali to central Cali in an hour. Think about that. A hundred years ago, only the extremely wealthy could do that. Not to long before that, it was just a concept. And immediately before THAT it was thought to be impossible.
That said: I still stand with my complaints about the crappy aircraft and poor maintenance of the non-flight-essential systems (AC, lavatories, finger pinching armrests) on the first (AA) leg. On the second leg (Alaska/Horizon) the airplane was JUST cheap. CHEAP. It was a turboprop, not jet, which I suppose is OK except that it was noisy as hell and there were rattles everywhere. Not to mention the "beat" (A third frequency that arises when two frequencies are mixed) in the noise, which had the odd effect of making the wall pulsate in and out. I was of course seated right by the engine and there was an annoying light flashing on the props, which wouldn't have been a problem except there were NO SUN FLAPS ON THE WINDOWS. Seriously. You cant close the windows on that stingy little puddle jumper. That's just cheap. I asked a flight attendant, politely, "Do these windows close?" and he said, and I quote "No, they were too cheap to put those in" with an apologetic tone. There you go.
Well I'm home, here somewhere within driving distance of Monterey, CA (no I will NOT be more specific) with a real keyboard and all my files and software. My BF and I need to recover for a few days. So in the meantime I will play some Counterstrike, pwn some n00bs and take some time to comment on OTHER users' art.
P.S. I decided not to delete the previous journal as I wanted to save the comments.
P.P.s I never post info about my day to day life. I'm not a FAcebooker I just hate traveling and though I'm not afraid of flying at all, I recognize the increasing probability of a terror attack or a plane malfunction due to cheapness, and I felt I owed you an advanced explanation in case I actually died and couldn't even START doing commissions. That would fucking suck but it didn't happen!

American Airlines is shit
Posted 9 years agoAnd their shitty partner, Alaska Air. Seriously, fuck them. A one hour delay on the Tarmac for AA flight 3, and now here in LA (excuse me, I meant to say big blocky depressing shit town {Sorry, any LAfurs}) the Alaska air (oops I meant to say Shit air with their tiny shitcraft) is delayed too. First 2 hours, then 3, now 4 fucking hours. I'm still not home yet. So tired I can't even make creative insults.
Even though we flew first class from New York to la, the flight was still awful. First fucking class and they still fucked it up!@@&! The AC on the whole plane was broken (it's a modern Airbus plane for fucks sake) so it was too hot to get any sleep. The seats were somehow less comfortable than business class, and I couldn't even sit next to my BF!! Seriously, American (er I mean DeReg airlines) how the hell do you fuck up FIRST CLASS?)?? My boyfriend spent all his saved up miles on this and nicest thing I can say was that the staff was very nice and the food was okay. At least the flight staff, the lowest on the totem pole above the paper pushers, at least THEY tried.
This is not to mention the FIVE HOUR DELAY we had to sit through on the way over last week, also stuck in LA.
If any of you can do this for me, please go to an airline review site and give both airlines a horrible review. Even if you've never flown in you life, do it for me. I'll give you a cookie.
I'm really sorry but I may need a few extra days to recover from this bulshit, I might have to DELAY my commissions, all because of American and Alaska (I mean shit and shittier) airlines (oops I meant fartlines)
My flight is AS 2604 so if it crashes and you never hear from me again YOU WILL KNOW WHO TO BLAME FOR MY DEATH!!!!

Project: The Automated Restraint Center
Posted 9 years agoSo you may have seen the render and diagrams I have posted so far. I have designed a facility (called "The Center" since "ARC facility" is redundant) that takes the guesswork out of bondage and the human (or furry... Whatever) element out of inmate control.
This facility features many highly specialized robots and machines designed to keep subjects fed, cleaned and exercised, etc., only one of which I have actually designed so far (I'm not counting the hanger, it's too simple to be considered a robot)
Currently the only area I have modeled is the padded cell block, with other areas to come (including of course, tube storage). Each of these models and areas are a lot of work, so it will be a while before I can do commissions featuring them.
As of this post I am away from my main computer visiting family, because in the end family is the only thing that is truly important.
I did load the teaser render and schematic diagrams I had already completed onto my iPhone so I could post one a day while away.
I will probably be able to start taking commissions at the start of April, but it might take longer since I still have more to do. I will start with a few YCH test commissions to get a good gauge on how long each will take and how much to charge.
I can no longer afford to do free work an frankly can't afford to NOT take paid commissions. I will be doing A.R.C. commissions along with open commissions, but again, not until next month.
I have not yet decided how I will be taking requests but it will probably be PM and email based as opposed to journal based.

Padded Cell Commissions Reopened 5 more slots
Posted 12 years agoI need some money for the holiday season, so I am temporarily reopening the padded cell commissions.
The base price is $45 PayPal up front to kraynesart@hotmail.com
it may go up if you ask for anything really complicated.
Also, to expand my market and my artistic ability, I will now draw female characters as well as male.
For the $45 you get:
-Straitjacket
-Padded cell
-Optional Diaper
-Optional gag, mask or hood
-Cell shaded
I MAY ask for more if you want to go with a rubber jacket.
NOTE ABOUT PAYMENTS: PayPal no longer displays the email address of the money sender, so when you do send money please add a NOTE to the payment with your name (the same name you gave to commission) in it.
To commission me:
Please send me a private message with the subject "PC Commission - yourname" or just "PCC - Yourname" where "yourname" is the name I will use in the signature area and also for my files, so I can keep track of who is who.
In the body of the message please state in list form:
-Straitjacket type (normal jacket or armless jacket)
-Jacket Material (canvas or rubber) (+$10 for rubber)
-Crotch cover (dry/wet/messy diaper, briefs, jock, shorts, chastity device, open crotch)
-Head bondage (ball gag, muzzle, mask, hood[specify leather/rubber/canvas], or nothing at all)
-Feeding tube (yes/no)
-Look on face (angry, tired, happy, sad, sleeping, etc)
-Pose (optional, if not given I'll think of something)
-Additional items (may increase the price)
OR you go with being wrapped up like a mummy or strapped into a bodybag, just be sure to specify material.
If for any of these items you choose not to decide, the items in bold will be chosen by default.
After that please give a complete character description and/or links to reference pics. If the reference pics you have are really good, there is no need for a description, although info like height helps.
If you do not have any reference pics, please be as thorough with your description as possible. Don't blame me for leaving something out that you forgot to mentions.
Also be CLEAR with your descriptions. If I get a post that is just one long sentence with no punctuation I will throw it out immediately, I REALLY can't stand that.
IMPORTANT: Please give me a SPECIFIC email address to send the finished work to. Due to the nature of these images, I'm sure you don't want the wrong people to see these. And giving me the email address as early as possible helps me send you the finished work faster
Once I have all this info I will copy it into a word document and work from that when it is time to get started. All your commission descriptions will be organized into one document so you don't need to worry about me forgetting anything.
If I have any questions i'll message you back.
And thats it! Sorry to be so..... "Restrictive" ;) but I'm through wasting time screwing around with incomplete descriptions or requests, or anything that might require changing halfway through the pic.
Like I said, I am going to attempt to draw female characters as well, but I may either ask for more money or settle with lower quality, since I have very little xp drawing women.

Commissions Clossed Forever
Posted 13 years agoAfter taking a few months of commissions I finally remember why I stopped taking them in the first place, and also, why I stated drawing this stuff in the first place.
I now remember that I draw this stuff for me, stuff I wanted to see but didn't exist. With that I have had some limited success.
I can no longer take commissions because I am deeply unsatisfied with my style and method. It is too time consuming and fiddly to yield worthwhile results, and it never looks quite as good as I wanted to because I feel rushed for time. If I am going to be paid $50 for something, I don't want to spend more than 5 hours on it but I inevitably do. It doesn't feel like i'm drawing, it feels like i'm sculpting, pushing lines around until they are in the right place.
Then I get commissions for stuff I don't really care for or want, or other commissions for things I can't really do. Then I waste time trying and turn out something that doesn't look good at all and throw it out halfway through.
It pisses me off.
On several occasions I get commissions and I get stuff about their character wrong. Minute details hard to notice, forcing redraws. Or even big details I completely forget because I missed it the first time, or it wasn't even mentioned at all.
It pisses me off.
Then there's the commissions for weirdass characters that are hybrids between two or three different animals. Hybrids between aquatic and land animals?? Between insects and mammals?? Seriously, do you have to be that different? Or other cases with characters that have weird or complicated designs all over their fur. I'm not talking spots and stripes, those I dont have a big problem with. I'm talking things like symbols or odd patterns. Are we artists expected to charge the same amount for a character with tons of designs (that we have to map to the contours of the body) as we do for a simple character?
it pisses me off.
Also I keep getting commissions from furs as opposed to scalies. I haven't had one commission from someone who's just a lizard or a snake or something, just a few dragons and that's it. Fur is even worse for me to draw using this particular method. I was never great at fur or hair, and most of my art is lizards and dragons. So where are all the lizards that want bondage?
It pisses me off.
In addition to commissions, I get requests for trades and offers for giftarts. The trades are usually incredibly vague, and I don't really feel like taking the initiative on them. I do owe one trade which I will still do, but i'm still a little annoyed that a trade I did years ago was never held up on their end (if you are reading this you know who you are.)
As for gifts, I really don't care a whole lot about any of this, and if I take a giftart it won't look the way I want it, and I would never request a redraw or change because its basically free and I myself know how annoying that can be. I'd rather not waste anyone's time on something I probably won't like and then have to pretend to like it. The only giftart i've received so far was awesome and I want to keep it that way.
In the end the real point is that I'm not a professional. My artistic background is in illustration, design, logo creation and photography. So my style is a strange hybrid of techniques I used in those other areas. And my training is in molecular biology, which pays a hell of a lot more than this.
I have gone over my books and have been making less than $10 an hour, just above minimum wage. As a lab tech I will make twice that, work more hours, and get benefits.
I'm not really a part of this community. I don't read anyone else's journals, I haven't read a single story posted here. I barely reply to comments on my own artwork and almost never comment on others' work because really, what needs to be said?
So, seriously, screw this. If I can't get a job, I may be forced to reopen commissions but I very much doubt that. The only way I would do the open commissions like I have been doing is if I take some classes in figure drawing and comic book art.
That being said, I do have my own projects I will be working on. I have a few ideas, and would be willing to sell slots in those projects to make the character specifically yours and not just some random fur/lizard. For example, I had a throne room/bondage scene idea in mind that would have a ton of characters, but that one's on the shelf. I also wouldn't auction slots... that's dumb. I would just have a flat rate.
Or I would have commissions in a specific format, like my padded cell series.
I may announce these projects ahead of time but I don't know if I even care enough to do that.
But no more completely open commissions. I'm not ready to walk new artistic territory and charge money for it.
I will of course honor the slots I still have up there. and I MAY still take padded cell commissions, but i'm even getting tired of doing those so you would have to really entice me.

I'm back. I guess. I don't know. Maybe.
Posted 13 years agoI've been away for a while now because I am in my last quarter of college and classes were starting to get hard. But that's all done now, more or less. No more homework or research for now.
I am still kinda sorta drawing. A few notebook sketches here and a few photoshop projects there. I have some new artwork ready for posting. But not much. I'm kinda running out of ideas. The ideas I am working on turn out to be more complicated than I thought, and I don't always feel up to finishing em.
Mostly what I have to post is 2011 art. I may scan some of my sketches and post em in scraps but they nothing special.
I have been watching FA the whole time though, replying to the occasional private message but nothing public. I didn't really want to get involved with all of this until after the college quarter was over.
So here I am. Don't expect much.
I MAY be open to commissions. I had some requests earlier which I turned down but feel free to re-request. I might not even want to do normal commissions. I might start doing "your character here" requests, like I've seen others do. Is that an acceptable way of selling your art?

Commissions now open for the next couple of months

Commissions Closed - RL takes hold
Posted 17 years agoIm affraid I wont be open for any more commissions for the time being. I have some issues to deal with in real life, and I need to take a break from being Krayne for a few months.
I will be doing the commission for TheChainedWolf, since he said a long time ago he wanted a fully transformed version of the Bondagized pic and I said I'd do it. But after that, i'll only be posting my own projects, and only sporadically.
Sorry if anyones dissapointed, but I can't afford to waste any more of my time being Krayne.

my computer is broken
Posted 17 years agoSome assholes thought it might be a good idea to force advertizment onto my computer. The effect: I will never even consider buying any of the products that came in the popups.
In trying to remove this shit, I simply made things worse. Now I cant do google searches, cant run photoshop, cant even open up "my computer"
windows fucking sucks
I may have to reinstall it... again
for now I will just have to work on things from another comp
