Yey, Team Crystals have won.This year's Artfight sure is a blast. Being able to take my new tablet for a real spin, and to be able to experiment with foreshortening. I definitely have done a bit better last year when it comes to participating.

Unfortunately, I am going to be away for a bit. College has again started, I am learning Python, I am "finally" starting my passion project, doing a few more private stuff for this, etc, etc. So, I will be pretty silent for a while. I don't know, well anyways keep safe and be happy!

It's the line art, that has changed in my recent works.

Cause this gal, has now able to afford a drawing tablet aka I am drawing with a stylus now. Yes, "finger drawing relationship broken, stylus drawing be the new norm" Jokes aside, it's super helpful for me. Being able to sketch much easier, draw line art with line weight, and be able to draw without zooming on everything it is super relieving.

And to those that tries to guess it, I just make a comic on all of you as a punishment for the failure of guessing >:3

Damn, you people REALLY love Mouse Transformation, do you? I just checked on my Stats Tab, as usual. This one, really shocked me! The Mouse TF comic has a lot of views. (Comics sure are in a high demand, huh) Regardless of the remade game screenshot of Undertale Yellow, those comic pages have garnered over like a lot, a lot of lot!

I am doing some preparations for the incoming artfight, finding characters, bookmarking them, etc. etc. Well... artfight is still a part of the internet and I'm bound for finding weird things there and sure enough I found one.

Since you know, Phase 1, the girlies are done and it just took like I don't know 2 weeks to finish and each piece taking around 2 days?It's not bad really. Well, Phase 2 kinda doubles that. With the neon nightlife setting, the boi-bois plus an anatomy style that I never used, ever. Yeah, you can figure it out.

Sorry for being really inactive this past weeks, I am just taking it slow for now. I am a bit of an achievement hunter in the past if I have time, so I have been slowly putting it to my schedule. And I am a sucker for rouge likes and I'm referring to a difficult rouge like, dungeon crawler game called "Shattered Pixel Dungeon" so a grind is inevitable. I am catching up to the new content on this, and I may finish it in a month or two.


Don't worry about the comic, it's almost done. Page 2 is done and page 3 is on the "fixing the layout" phase. The temporary mouse duo will come soon.

Late news from your friendly sabertooth here. I am now able to learn how to code in C and able to make my first (yet simple) console application. It is just a color palette maker that stores it as html or txt file. Very proud of it. Maybe I will be able to make a game or something, who knows ;)

Moving aside my nerdy computer side, I'm putting my nerdy art side on the wheel this time. *Ahem* To recap this year, I have made at least 60 art pieces this year (not including ones that are on sketch, versions of finished artworks, and assets/concept art), so it may as well total to almost 80 art pieces.

I've been able to join my first Artfight event. Yeah. I just made over 4 drawings and I'm sure I can go beyond that next time. Oh! If you have an art event that I never know. Please tell me.

I am kinda confused with doing art commissions as a side job, especially I only have one client (), since I've stated that I'm taking them. For anyone reading this, I know that asking this on a journal here is ineffective. But can you give me some pointers or something?

Now for the unfinished business part. I am going to do a bullet point type list here in priority order that I'm aiming to finish or at least start working on this year.

This story is just a sort of vent of something that (almost) happened to me like half a year ago, that is kinda pissing me off when I think about it.

No offense to the people on the story and I'm NOT holding a grudge or anything like that. I ain't a spiteful one.

Ok, to set the scene... this one is about a school project, an animated project to be exact. It's just a one off project that slightly correlates to my course at the time. To compose a 2 to 3 minute long animated film or whatnot. It was going to be an individual project but when someone, a girl to my class suggested that it should be converted to a group project. That is when fear crept over me like a cold breeze and it's not coming from the air conditioners. Side note, we are regularly given individual projects every day, like drawings focusing on a certain element on art and let me say this, almost all of them are pure amateurs to the world of art, they have very small understanding to anatomy and sure as heck they do not have experience in animation. And this girl, really said it should be a group project! Really? Only a small handful of the class knows how to draw and it won't really be enough. They won't cut it for the role of background artist, storyboard artist, or clean up artist... well some of them could be script writers but that's it. It would be a really painful and slow process and most of the work will be put to the ones who knows how to draw. It would be hell for me and to others as well.

Oh, didn't I tell? That the project should be passed after a month. Yeah.... ain't possible, chief. But fortunately, that awful idea is dismissed and end up with doing the original but shortened to one minute.

If that crap went through, I might snapped my imaginary stylus cause of the sudden workload and the total BS. I am, in no joke, praying in my chair that will not happen.

To my classmates, y'all are totally oblivious back then of your current skill and obviously underestimated how much work animation needs.
I am sorry for you all for making such a project alone, but knowing that most of the workload will be given to a few people on the group? No... no, thank you. Now, I'm now in college and is pursuing programming and graphic design is now on the table and is kinda getting war flashbacks of that from time to time.
