But things had happened; my condition to the gall stones, my grandfather at my mother’s side had passed and we had to put down the dog due to heavy infections. In short, drawing streak has died down completely and I was deeply depressed. So this unfortunate commission was put on hold and had been collecting dust for god knows how long now. But I swore to myself that I refuse to re-open my business till I finally finish this piece.

Until recently, I’ve finally recovered from my depression and brought myself to finish the piece at last. I’ve finally brought closure after all these years. Now, with my artistic drive fully charged, I can calmly re-open my business.

A classic point & click adventure game which combines vintage horror with dark humour as we follow the protagonist Lord Alistair Ainsworth (who's design is a parody of Vincent Price) as he immersed in his research that he has set up his living quarters at the old castle that used to belong to the fabled necromancer. Mostly 2D, with very detailed and artistically painted backgrounds.

Hello everyone! Krillos here, glamorously wishing you all a merry Valentine's Day. I was drawing something for this occasion but alas, my laziness triumphed. But maybe post-Valentines I'll have something. ^w^

Anyways, lovingly enjoy and spend your time with your family, spouses and whoever is worth it. If you're not out to buy something for them, just give them a hug. That's what I do. >w>

Happy New Year, everyone! Hope that year 2013 has been treating you all well. As for me, it's been bittersweet. Been working tons of unfinished sketches, finished very few. But in the progress, I'm thinking of making a new direction in art entirely. After obtaining a new program from a new buddy of mine and got my devious tablet to work, Macromedia Flash 8 will no longer be my primary use of developing finished art. I still intent to keep it around for future use, perhaps for a small an animation project or something. I have only one last pic to work on with MF8 and I will begin practicing on my tablet.

But progressing of the art development has been extremely slow. Though I have been completely healed from my operation two years ago, the real reason is because I suffered from a depression that weaken my artistic drive. The loss of my grandfather still has an lingering effect on me, but I got more bad news. Somewhere on Autumn, my parents had to put down their dog Lovis (a Grand Basset Griffon Vendéen) due to the heavy infections in her ears. Despite my folks did their best of cleaning them, they were just too deep. So they decided to put her down before she suffers a painful fate and I, who being close to her, took yet another sorrowful blow to my soul. I couldn't bear to mention her again around my mother, who shed a tear when Lovis was brought up in a conversation of ours at one time. Doesn't this beat them all? I had to lose someone close just last year and now I had to lose yet another the next year after? What gives? Not only that, but on November I suffered yet another form of depression called "self-revelation." I won't go much detail about that, but suffice to say that I was close to cutting down many, many ties with everyone on my chatrooms (Facebook, Skype, etc.) just to spare them of my "self-humiliation" in social standing. Week later though, I've recovered and was back to my usual self yet the wounds are still there.

Anyways, there's no point on dwelling on the past. It's time to move forward to harmony, my grandfather and Lovis would want that for me. My new resolution for this year is to master my tablet and deliver a new form of art than my usual!

I'm not sure what I'll put there but it shall serve as an fresh start as an art gallery compared to what I have here and at FA. Hello there, good folks! Here's another yearly life rant from yours truly!

This year, despite its few positive points, was absolutely the least favorite. Hardly active, animated shows with bad character development (which I’ll refrain from mentioning in case of going total rage ranting), insane guy shooting at school, horrible remakes (as usual), character theft and my projects are in a stand-still. Oh, and the ending of Mass Effect 3. Man, I partially had hoped that the Mayan doomsday could’ve ended it for me,

In peace, Lars Annell
In case anyone wasn’t aware or couldn’t remember, my grandfather Lars Annell has unfortunately passed away on July 22. That’s right, that’s the date of my birthday. Can anyone imagine what that is like? To have someone dear to you die on your own birthday? I still couldn’t tell even today…

Respectfully, I did not celebrate on that day and had my birthday postponed to the 27th. How could I celebrate on the day of his recent passing? Kudos to  Lordstevie to withhold his gift to me for later date. No worries, I got my birthday and cheers. But there is only one cheer that will forever be missing…

To be honest, I was never truly aware of how serious his condition was. Lars has always been viewed, in my eyes, as a strong man who withstood many trials. Like a great Viking. I would have never expected him to die first in my lifetime. But seeing him on his deathbed all pale, skin and bones, reality struck me like you wouldn’t believe it did. It was definitely the moment of one’s life that I had to experience.

So much grief was spilt after the final visit. What I grieved the most is not just the guilt over what I could have done for him while he’s still alive, but the fact that he won’t be there while I realize my projects and my future accomplishments. If there was a heaven, I hope he’ll cheer for me in cloud 9.

At ease, oh humble giant. I will see you soon someday. Remember my final words my parents whispered to you;

"Though you may pass away before you could witness my dreams fulfilled,
My loving memories of you shall strengthen my resolve."

The art progression…
What can I say? It was downright pathetic of me this year. Hardly any new art has been made, I had like made a few colored sketches and the best one yet was with Bomba’s spelunking. Few promised arts got delayed, especially one trade and one commission. This one commission got it worst, this one got one year delayed! If I’m getting any worse, I would be no different do Jessica Elwood with her commissions. I really don’t understand why this is so hard for me to make this commission. I must shape up! Getting back to my senses or I will never get back to my projects!
Oh! Speaking of my projects…!

The three projects
I’ve decided to finally reveal short summaries of the stories of the three projects I have developed over these years; Omega Age, Ebony & Ivory and the latest, Stars of Metal. I have refrain from mentioning the stories behind the projects due to they’re still in their early stages, but they have progressed well enough and I think it’s safe to tell ye all about it.

Omega Age
Summary: Set on a world which has been claimed that the ancient Humanity has once walked on, we follow the adventures of several individuals as they uncover the greatest mysteries behind their world and lives of others as they tackle the forces of evil and other obstacles. Does the evolution determine the strongest or the individuals themselves?

Ebony & Ivory
Summary: James Lyons and Rosa Noble, two unlikely duos of runaway outlaw adventurers, set out across the world, treasure hunting, get even with lousy criminals and running from the hardass lawmen.

Stars of Metal
Dion Tyr, the intergalactic bounty hunter and a Forehuman (a human born with powerful alien enhancement), has been traveled across the galaxies and bag notorious alien outlaws in his never-ending quest of his missing “inheritance” where no man has ventured forth.

Buddy call!
This one is probably the best one to happen this year! I have taken a flight to other side of the country to visit my awesome internet pal,  Lordstevie, for the first time! And man, did I have a blast there! So much art to do, new things to learn and a new buddy to make named Joakim (his pencil shading and artistic details is absolutely insane!). Then we hit to the amusement park of Liseberg and man, it was awesome! I would have enjoyed it more, if I hadn’t gotten so many cramps on my legs for tighten the muscles too much. ^^;

It was a shame to return home after my stay there, but there’s always a next time. ^^

Like this year. 2012 may have been bad, but there’s always the next. I wish you all a Merry late Christmas and Happy New-Year!

Hello again! Here's me again with another topic in mind!

Of one lesson I have learned from this fur-loving community, is that interspecies relationships are quite common and I happen to be a lonely romantic sometimes. No matter how big or small, exotic or plain disturbing, total racially different but the pair share one common thing; love. What I find it fascinating is that despite biological differences, somehow they still feel attraction for one another for various reasons and they try to establish a relationship together. It’s not the races that define their relationship, but their personalities and how they struggle to keep their relationship alive against the complications due to their racial differences (a likely scenario, if you think about it). If there’s actual effort to it, then I’ll call it a romance.

I feel like I have the need to share my personal top favorite pairings to you all, with explanation as to why I like it. I have currently only four in mind but it’s enough.

Felines ❤ Canines
Man, this is definitely a classic. It began with cat hates dog and vice versa but that fact is merely a myth; cats and dogs can love each other (though in reality, that only happens when both the cat and dog were raised together). It’s this type of thing that made me love the PS-game Tail Concerto and NDS-game Solatorobo and anything related to cat and dog relationship. It was from this topic that also birthed the growing relationship with Lassie and Goldmane and one particular pairing that I like which will be mentioned in this list soon...

Reptiles ❤ Canines
Perhaps the oddest pairing I liked. I imagined one time that the sentient reptiles would seek out for mammal partners for their body warmth as some sort of fetish. That actually led to several interesting ideas, like in an old history of the dark ages, mammals fought off against reptilian slavers and bandits who sought out numerous of people of any gender (though preferably young), mammal slaves make excellent company that provides warmth through the night and day (or, in worst case scenario, meal). How is this romantic? Well, love can blossom anywhere, for example a slave and her/his master (and I’m not talking about Stockholm-syndrome here). In modern times, the civilized reptiles would still target a mammal companionship but in a less hostile approach. As to which mammals, well, I preferred to pick canines for that, which led to the interesting relationship with Bomba the komodo dragon and Ken Fenrir the wolf. Oh, speaking of wolves…

Wolf ❤ Black Panther
My recent favorite pairing. Based on the famous Felines ❤ Canines-topic, I began to think of pairing a larger canid (which I picked a wolf, specifically the European Wolf) with an exotic big cat, like a lioness or a cheetah. However, that idea began to drift away to the sub-consciousness as I began to focus on my projects. Until several years later, the idea resurfaced and at that time, I began to favor a black panther (preferably a female) as a partner. I don’t know why, but I can’t help but to put them together. Maybe it has something to do with their nocturnal hunting capabilities (a wolf’s night vision exceeds that of other Canids and the panther’s black fur would make them masters of concealment in the night). So… I guess I envision them to be “lovers shrouded in darkness”?

Wolf ❤ Fox
Perhaps the oldest pairing that I liked since childhood. I grew to like this pairing when I was very young, reading fables featuring wolves and foxes. I viewed them as an odd pair of yin & yang; the fox is the most cunning while wolves are the most ferocious. And pairing these two would make an interesting love-hate relationship. I had originally planned to create a foxy dame for Ken, but I cannot seem to create a scenario with them (which is sad, I actually liked the character that I made of the fox) and it would be too much harem for the poor wolf, so that idea was dropped. Strangely, I have never met any famous fictional pair of these two species yet. I wonder why…?

Anyways, these are my current favorite pairings! After just sharing these personal favorites of mine, I’m now curious about what you guys’ favorite interspecies pairings are? It would be interesting to see what species you have paired up with your imagination. So come on now, folks! Let me hear ‘em! C=

Isn't he just lovely? Not only did he use commissioned/gift art of Bomba without me and the artists permission, but then he described her and I quote "She is basically as beast. More manly than womanly. Be as rough as you want. Even violent." With this huge amount of OOC-information (or better term, slandering her character), don't you guys feel wee bit angered over this, too? And to make matters worse, he even made a long list of disgusting acts for Bomba. I CAN handle sexual materials that feature my characters, but seeing a serious character like her commit these acts which the list proclaims is nothing but deceptive and disrespectful!

Without hesitation, I contacted the site's staff over this issue. They contacted back and wanted me to gather evidence of the theft and to post this journal as an addition. I complied, I will not tolerate this bastard misuse and disrespecting Bomba's character any further! Dammit, it's like Thundercats 2011 all over again with these betrayals of characteristics!

…Huh. Maybe I’m a purist, after all. It’s not necessary a bad thing, is it?

*UPDATE* The site's staff has removed the pics from Morvern's page at least. That's nice and all, but then they claim "given the different name and all, it seems they're just stealing the art for their own character, not slandering yours." Uhh, YES! Acting outside her character in such disrespecting manner and make people believe she would commit those acts on that horrid list Morvern posted IS slandering! Tch...

With that aside, I wish to discuss another issue regarding Bomba. You all probably know this already, there are few people who depict her "masculine" and buffs up her physique. Well, I'am here to clarify once and for all that Bomba does NOT belong to the "muscular"-category.

Why? Because she just isn't! It is not part of her character design.

I had a long time trying to figure out why people depicted her like that and I came up with two reasons. One reason may be because of her military background. She needed to be physically fit to handle the heavy weaponry and capable to employ the Commando Sambo-fighting arts. Another reason is because of her species, a Komodo dragon is known to be the largest land dwelling reptile in the world. But those reasons can be explained. For one, just because she needs to be physically fit, doesn't mean she has to be a heavy lifter. Any normal person can handle a weight of C4-explosives and hand grenades. She maybe needs a wee bit of brawn to handle rifles and martial arts well.

For the second reason, she may belong to a big species, she isn’t obligated to be muscular. Well, maybe she’s taller than some characters, around Ken’s height or wee taller, but that’s it.

That leads me to make several changes to her design just make her slimmer and more feminine than I believed she already is. You guys probably have noticed several changes on her profile-pic. Her head, her eyes, her shoulders, her arms. I‘ve re-shaped almost every detail just so I could get the satisfaction and I’ve yet to reach it. Hell, I even went as far as planning to make a comic of her saying this stuff, but I didn’t go through with it because Bomba isn’t the type to complain. She just lets them believe whatever they want to believe and knowing the fact that she knows better.

But maybe just downright telling about my problems will finally make things clear for you all. I’m not saying that you should go and re-do your past fanarts of her (those who envisioned her to be muscular) nor do I mean to discourage you for your art of her either; I love all the arts you made and I greatly appreciate for your efforts. I’m saying that you should know her right physique in the future and I’m telling you now in most simplistic words.

“Her body is experienced for conflict but is also femininely smooth. She has finest bust size, even though both she and the people around her are aware that it is not her kind’s nature to gain.”

With that said, I thank you all for your time reading on this and to bare this old fool’s long rant. I had this dilemma for a long time and this incident with Morvern made me want to lift this out of my chest. Thank you all for you understanding. I hope this journal will convince the staff to bring justice upon Morvern.

First of, today is my birthday and I would like to thank everyone for the kind greetings. It was very appreciated! =D

But sadly, today I could not have the stomach to celebrate as intended and had it postponed. Because something horrible has happened...

My grandfather on my mother's side, Lars Annell, has passed away this morning after fighting long and hard against various sicknesses, heart failures and cancer.

Lars was a large and proud man, I often see him chopping on wood at their summer home and being merry and happy with my grandmother Héléne and like everyone else of the family, I had good relations with him. Regrettably, due to my past works and my own physical problems (the gall stones), I could not visit them often. Yesterday he was brought to the emergency ward and without doubt in my mind, I had to visit him. As I take my final glances at him, he no longer look like the man I used to know. Pale, skinny and weak, he looks nothing like Lars I knew and that is utterly tragic that I could barely look at him. It's like he grew 20 years older in just one day. Though I left earlier than intended, I had my parents send over my last message to him;

"Though you may pass away before you could witness my dreams fulfilled,

My loving memories of you shall strengthen my resolve."

And many manly tears were shed on that day.

And this morning, he took his final breath and his life tale ended in peaceful silence. Though I was too mentally tired from yesterday, my heart broke from the news.

How the life can remind you of your mortality in the most cruelest way.

But I mustn't grieve forever. Though Lars has peacefully left us and is in a better place, he wouldn't want me to wallow in my sorrows. My final words has a meaning and I will do as it is written.

Lars Annell, a good husband and a father, you're the man. I love you and I hope you rest in peace, big guy.

An curious thought had strucked me today; How would the you (either you personally, your own fursona or OCs) react if they got to meet one of my characters? And that character would be our favorite busty komodo dragon Bomba?

Would you try to establish a relationship with her, either in friendship terms or develop it into something more?

The reason I asked you all is because I've always liked good character development and I would like to hear how you would handle it if you're given the chance.

Many people have probably heard that due to the poor ratings with the Thundercats-remake, it’s due to be canceled.

Good riddance.

…Okay, I’am sorry. Let me explain about my dilemma and my brewing hate for this series.

Being around in the 80’s and 90’s and watching many cartoons, I’ve grown up with the original Thundercats like many others. When I first heard of a reboot Thundercats, I was both thrilled and worried. Thrilled to see one of my favorite series getting a new look and worried for the remakes’ tenacious reputation of being unfaithful. So of course I’ll watch it.

At first, it was going okay. It had a smooth run and it was great take on the story. But then, a grave “sin” committed in episode 13. Something that made me hate the series entirely: Cheetara and Tygra hooking up.

Why, in the name of everything that is pure and true, must THESE two get together?! It’s the most unimaginable, unwanted and totally unnecessary in my sight and mind!

I don’t know why, but from the very beginning since the original series, I could not possibly see any connection between those two other than friendship. It’s like they’re magnets, only they share the same plus or minus, drawing away from each other. Before anyone points out, yes, I’m aware that they DID hook up in the comics, but that’s hardly canon and it is DC’s doing, not Tobin’s!

But how they portrayed in the series is as worse as the pair-up. Tygra, who supposed to be wise and noble, was made into a selfish and arrogant bastard (though he does has redeeming traits but those are so damn little) and he pairs up with someone cool and refined as Cheetara? Oh but Cheetara is no better! At first, she is helpful and caring to the first episode, she helped Lion-O going through his worthiness to his people and family and even trusting her enough to keep his secrets. It even shows a close bond developing between those two and how things can get affectionate.

But NOPE! The producers just flipped the switch and she dumps the poor guy and goes for the bastard in an instant. Why? Cause of one, simple and childish act of kindness done in the past. That’s not romance, that’s just a baby crush! That reason alone is the most immature plot hole of a relationship I’ve ever seen (even worse than Matt x Sora in Digimon 2nd Season)! And you’re willing to give up your weapon and Cleric-beliefs for this bastard?! Not only that, her role in the group has been reduced from main female character to Tygra’s bobble-headed cheerleader and armcandy. That's just down right insulting!

For affectionate relations, it has to grow and build a lot more than just ONE act of kindness. It takes YEARS to develop, not just one moment that lasts to adulthood! That only proves that Cheetara is the most immature person who is incapable to move on with life.

…I’am so sorry, Cheetara 2011. But you are dead to me for failing as a character. Whenever I hear the “Ho” in the trademark TC-catchphrase, I’ll always think of you… and her evil twin sister Pumyra 2011.

I TRY to love and tolerate this after that but that fact alone made this series completely unwatchable. But as weird as it sounds, it also made me open my eyes to other miserable facts.

I do not like how Lion-O is portrayed in this, even though it was correctly put. In the original series, Lion-O is a child in adult’s body due to some accident and Lion-O 2011 is a misunderstood teen. The latter sounds a lot better. xD But what I dislike is how hotheaded he is on this and how many things are thrown to him and how they only made it worse for him. Hardships are definitely a must when telling someone’s life, but too much makes things a lot more unrealistic. That and it’s obviously a ploy made for children to learn new things in life. Don’t get me wrong, it was so with the original series, but it has more adventure covering it and this one has no subtlety whatsoever! I certainly don’t want to live his life, his love life sucks balls.

Panthero… what can I say, he’s a clone or ancestor of Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop. Nice cyber-arms later on, though. =3

Pumyra. …Sigh. She’s like Cheetara, only she actually backstabs Lion-O while Cheetara done it “immaturely”. Either they’re somehow related, or do I sense a pattern? >_>

Though Mumm-Ra is pretty awesome and so is his weapon, Sword of Plun-Darr, his transformation scenes is less dynamic than in the original series. It should have more explosions of bandages and actual muscle inflation, not just a puff of dark smokes like a two bit magician. And what’s up with the bat wings? Is he an anthropomorphic bat now, rather than a human? Makes sense, actually, since this version’s weakness is bright light.

But I should be fair. Like I said, it has a compelling story and there are characters that I actually like.

Wilykat and Wilykit, those two are just too adorable and they did certainly justice on that. I wanna adopt them, take them home and show them how to be a man (which will turn Wilykit into a tomboy, unfortunately, and I apologize for that lol).

Snarf has always been a favorite of mine since childhood, just the way it talks (and the first of the Thundercats to actually enter the Everliving-state other than Mumm-Ra. That one was pretty kickass! xD). And I’am actually glad he didn’t talk in this, I’am an adult now and I would’ve been annoyed if they kept the voice.

And I actually like the misc characters more than the original cast, which is pretty insulting, really.^^;

My final thoughts for all of this is that it has a good story, but the most character development is just horrible and unfaithful. I could recommend this, but only to specific people.

I swear, Tobin Wolf, the late creator of the original series, would turn his grave over this amount of fail... =___=

Hello again everyone! Krillos here to tell you what happened these recent past weeks!

On my last journal, I announced that I’am going through a surgery to remove the blasted gallbladder and its stones. Well, I will safely confirm to you all that the operation went well and I survived! Though it went little off from the beginning, like one hour delay from the staff and how they underestimated my size so they had to re-modify the operation table so I could fit, blah, blah, blah.

In any case, I took couple of weeks off of my daily internet activity for rest and work to catch up. Today, I’am back as healthy as a frisky puppy. Hopefully soon I will get back to my art-making ways and deliver some delicious pieces. ^^

Speaking of art-making, I wish to discuss about my projects.

I’am bit ashamed to say that two of my projects, Omega Age and Ebony & Ivory, aren’t progressing very well as planned. Omega Age lost its directive and has no solid story in mind, I was only able measure tidbits of the story. So unfortunately, the progression of OA is on a complete stop. E&I does have story arcs planned but the progress is getting slow. The only thing I have actually developed so far is the third project, the sci-fi adventure saga Stars of Metal. I have a boatload of sketches on prototype alien-designs lying around here. Dear viewers, fans and friends. I'am bringing you all biggest news yet.

As everyone knows, I suffered a mysterious pain these past year & a ½. I tried to manage to be productive, but the thing just drained me of my creativity and gave me trouble at work. It has been nothing but pain and wee bit misery on my case and no doctor has found the cause for it.

Until this week...

On Monday, I visited a stomach and intestine specialist. Turns out she got real concerned when she got closer look at me. My skin and eyes are turning yellow. Then she sent me off to the ward for some tests, then after that I was sent resting in one of the rooms of the surgion department. By the end of the day, the surgion came by and delivered the long-awaited answer; gallstones. Small ones, but enough to mess up with the gallbladder's opening and my body's total system. It only took a another yet thorough x-ray and a urin test (which had dark messed-up color, mind you)

So, on Thursday tomorrow, I will undergo surgery to remove the gallstones and the gallbladder.

Many people would say I should be terrified over an operation, but I will decline that fact. Why? Cause I don't care. No one has absolutely any idea what I went through, (and pray that this never befalls to you guys) I'am welcoming any risk that comes to option. I would do anything to be able to feel the joy of life and to draw again...

In any case, I will be gone for a while. Pray for new happier times. Ciao! ^^

Hello everyone, this is the unhandsome Krillos here and ready to report.

Well, I would be lying if this year wasn’t quite a drag, nor wasn’t all that bad. Got good games, plenty of social activity and my nephew is growing less and less scared of me. Yup, this year has its ups and downs, but it’s over and I can finally start anew.

As for my sickly condition I mentioned in the previous journal, I have some update on that matter.

On November, I had a gastroscopy inspection (and mind you, it was everything but pleasant) and turns out my stomach is under fine condition, which means all the pain I suffered is not because of the stomach but by a different organ. So now our main suspects are the gall bladder and the very intestines. So far, no talk about surgeries or stuff.

After another visit to the emergency ward (sixth or seventh time and on 22th, day before my nephew’s birthday), I got a new prescription with a different medicine that contains 50 mg of diklofenakkalium. This medicine seem take more effect than the previous one, as I got another ache yesterday (somewhat ruined the whole afternoon for me) but this one feels more dampened than the usual attacks but it was still unpleasant and couldn’t socialize with my relatives properly. Another dose of medicine and it calmed it down eventually. I don’t know if this is a good sign or not, but it’s still there and the problem must be dealt with.

I decided to follow one doc’s advice and book another time for an ultra sound treatment, inspecting closely on the prime suspects; the gall bladder and the intestines.

On lighter news, this year was great for games, such as Skyrim, Star Wars; The Old Republic and many others, and I had a blast with each and every one of them. =3

As for the art department, I will try to get back to the pace. I have to catch up with a late commission, late birthday gifts and so on. And also, I’ll give you a heads-up for a re-designs of Goldmane and Lassie, a batch of delicious-looking villains (including the long-waiting re-designs of our classic favorites like Blackmore, Fagin and Psycho Prodigy) and more time to focus on the third project, the sci-fi action story with the now officially titled “The Stars of Metal”, the main character, plus new aliens, is under development.

Bruce: True, but that doesn’t stop our fan base from asking about the naughty bits. Like, the ladies’ bust-sizes for example. We all just DIE to know everyone’s dirty little secrets. Right~? >:3

Bomba: Sigh… He just HAD to plant that seed of temptation to our fans, now does he? -_-‘

Bruce: What the fish-?!

Ivory: Yeah, it’s time to get the show on the road.

Bruce: …Why the hell is the so-called almighty yet extinct species here?

Ivory: Well, the journal didn’t specify WHICH series that will be interviewed…

Ebony: … So the readers have the right to interview us, the characters from the new “Ebony & Ivory”-story, and have their questions professionally answered. Neat, ey? ^^

Ivory: Without further ado, let’s proceed. ^^

I have something I have kept in the dark from all of you so that nobody would be worried, but after absent of activity and art making (especially a late commission), I can no longer keep the truth from you all.

I have been suffering stomach pains since the beginning of this year. A pounding pain in the pit of my stomach with a aching back, hard to take deep breaths and in the end, it leaves with a lingering sting and my stomach would not function well since I can't tell whether I'am hungry or full. It occurs randomly at times, mostly at nights and one time at work. Oh yeah, it certainly happens in the most inappropriate times.

Since the pain-relieving medicine doesn't working, I had to be taken to the emergency ward three times. It happened again last night, making it the fourth time. Heck, not even a drink of anaesthetic liquid could calm it down!

I was checking in for a x-ray and apparently, the doctors said I may have a problem with the gall bladder. Other doctors in the emergency ward believe it is the stomach itself. Either way, I'am not sure which is the cause of it all. =( Either way, they have finally booked time for a stomach inspection (which involves a long wire with a camera) and whatever the cause they might find, a proper discussion of action will be made with a surgeon. Operation is likely to happen...

If it comes to that conclusion, then I shall accept it and go through with it. There's no point to panic and be afraid, it would only worsen the operations if you ask me.

Well, now you all now, good folks. I really hope you all are feeling great and not suffering from the same type of experience as I.

On lighter news, I bought Skyrim and it was great! =D

Finally, after many long months, I can finally have a month's worth vacation from my job! Before this month ends, I shall not only rest but also shoring new arts and stuff!

ART-MAKING RESUMES
As you all obviously knows, the art department has barely made any development at all. But now, with my summer vacation, it'll give me plenty of time to work on my art projects! So stay tuned soon! =D
And also, Mr. CrazyFishie, your commission is the first art to be finished! Speaking about commissions, I have closed down my commission business for the time being, I need to work on my own artwork.

NEW PROJECTS IN MAKING
There are some rumors going on about that there is new projects besides <b>Omega Age</b> is in the making. And you all are correct. While taking a break from the OA-project, two new ideas pop up in my mind. Ideas so awesome that they just HAD to be made! xD So allow me to present them to you all!

Ebony & Ivory - The Harmonious Duo!
The story is about "Ivory" James Lyons and "Ebony" Rosa Noble, a benevolent Bonnie & Clyde-esque outlaw duo who travels around the world in search for riches of riches and is on the run from both the law and the criminality. It contains comedy and lots of action and this will be the very first series to feature human characters! The artwork on James and Rosa, including a title card of the series, is currently in making!

And yes, the title is inspired by the song of the same name by Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder.

Beyond the Stars
To be honest, I still haven't thought out a good story about this one. I have long time been fascinated with extraterrestrial life and how alien they look to us humans. I especially like sci-fi videogames, like Star Control and one of my all-time favorites, Mass Effect. Before a story or whatever it becomes, I decided to make 10 different species just for the heck of it! It's very fun to make your own species, like Spore! The Naja-species is the first, so 9 more to go!

Oh, but there's one important note. There will absolutely be no near-humans to feature in it. I forbid it because I'm sick and tired of seeing those "lacks of imaginations" while the science fiction can be used in a more inspirational way. But of course, I can make exceptions, like the Twi'leeks and the Asari, but that's it. So I'm not entirely unreasonable.

SOLATOROBO COMETH!
You all may have heard this but this Friday, the Nintendo DS-game Solatorobo is to be released here in Europe! But that's not all. Thanks to XSEED Games, Solatorobo will be released in North America as well! Here's the definite proof!

Hello again, folks! Krillos here, living and breathing. Still working at the rental video store, so the progress of the art-making is slow, sorry. Out of my boredom, I think I should delight ourselves with a question.

While working on my project, curiosity hit me. What does people think when they hear the title "Omega Age", the name of the series which stars Lassie, Goldmane, Ken, Bomba and all my other anthropomorphic characters?

What is your thoughts when you think of that name? How would you imagine the story to be like? What's it gonna involve? Is it rated G, PG or R? Action, Romance, Comedy, Drama... or Porn?

Of course, I already know what the series is gonna be like (since I created it and all). But I'am curious to see what the audience thinks. So far, you all have only seen the profiles of the characters I've made and I made no mentioned about the actual story they're in whatsoever (the reason for that is because I'am secretive and spoilers are not profitable), so I'am curious of what you all have imagined about this series.

Share me your honest thoughts and dreams and tell me how YOU believe how the story goes. You can tell me a short version or you can go totally ballistic and write a big-ass detailed story, I don't mind either way since I enjoy reading. =3

Well, folks. Today's a new day of 2011, so I wish you all a Happy New Year!

I must say, 2010 had it's ups and downs and I would not consider it a favorite yet I do find it bittersweet. I have several reasons and I would point it out for you all. Remember, this is my listings of what I've been through in year 2010 and what I find it major point of my life.

NEGATIVE POINTERS:

The Passing of Frank Frazetta - February 9, 1928 – May 10, 2010. The guy who did the artwork of Conan the Barbarian and many awesome galleries is the first awesome man to pass away. As an fellow artist, I'am sadden to see such marvelous artist come to an end. But his awesome work will live on and continue to inspire us.

The Passing of Ronnie James Dio - July 10, 1942 – May 16, 2010. Dio was one of the rockers I have listen during my childhood and to see him gone, it was really sad. We'll hope that whenever that'll be a thunderstorm, it'll be Dio's spirit, along with other rock star legends, who would rock the heavens!

The Passing of Leslie Neilson - February 11, 1926 – November 28, 2010. The news of his passing has dishearten me deeply. I loved the Naked Gun-series and his other films (like Wrongfully Accused and Dracula: Dead and Loving It), so you guys would imagine such loss. A man like that deserve to live to 100 years. I had a childhood dream once, to have that man voice-cast one of my characters I've made if I went big. Alas, that dream is shattered with Leslie's passing. Now, it is the angels turn to laugh.

Idol artist went wacko - As you probably have heard from one of my earlier journals, one of my admired artist went bit crazy this year (of unknown cause and out of respect, she STILL stay anonymous). Fortunately, I heard she's recovering from the incident and she's well. That really brightens my day and I hope she'll make a full recovery soon. Hang on there, girl! =D

BARELY NO ART?! - Yup, I haven't made too much progress with the art department. Mainly because of my new work as an video rental store-assistant. It's much tiresome than you think! ...Oh and I got a bit lazy. ^^; Fortunately, this year wasn't entirely art-less, since I manage to muster up some juicy pics, but that's not enough for me. I even have late commissions to work with, so please bare with me a bit longer! >A<

POSITIVE POINTERS:

The Games are GREAT! - Damn straight! This year's games are awesome and worthwhile! I could mention five games that I would consider to be my top favorites of 2010 and as a bonus, I'll offer a short review from my personal experience!

Here is my top 4 runners of 2010!

4. God of War III - Dear lord, is this game BRUTAL. Epic, yes, but brutal! The fights are great, the graphics are marvelous and that little ball of hate FINALLY gets his revenge and DIE! The reason why it's the 4th place is because, well, it's short. ^^;
3. Metroid: Other M - Sure, Samus won't shut-up about her self-monologue, but the game is top-notched nonetheless! The new gameplay system is what Metroid truly needed for its return and I hope that'll be a sequel. The story is terrific, it has several touching moments and have interesting yet few characters in it. I bloody hope, however, that in the sequel, she would talk LESS and ditch that boring ponytail businesswoman hairstyle! I want the thick and flowing adventuress hairstyle back, dang it!

2. Solatorobo - At long last, the spiritual sequel of Tail Concerto I've long been waiting for several years has finally come to my grasps and I love it! The gameplay is surprisingly similar to TC, with minor changes and several improvements. The graphic is pretty good in Nintendo DS-standards and despite being all Japanese, it is easy to understand what is going on with the plot! It has three playtime worth of replay values and plenty of downloadable contents! The only downside is the difficulty of controlling the different controls of your mech's several modes. It also give you that unsatisfying feeling of the need to extend the storyline, and just so you know, the game have two story arcs to play through. Fortunately, it's DLCs does help out with this issue a bit.
1. Mass Effect 2 - The VG-bomb! I love Mass Effect-series, so I wouldn't doubt for the second to buy this, I was right on the money! Sweet mother of mercy, the story, the gameplay, the characters! This game is badass, it feels like Chuck Norris made this game! Still, like every issue in sci-fi stories, it includes human-faced aliens that I loathe so much (asari, drell and (hopefully not) quarians), but the game is so bloody great that I let it go the subject completely! The game has earned the Gametrailers' Game of the Year-award and I think it deserve it! Hell, I would buy the PS3-version of it once it hits the marked on January! A game that marvelous deserves also the 1st place of my favorite games of 2010! =D

I got a job! - Old news, but whatever! I got a job as an video rental store-assistant in late summer and though it is tiresome, I enjoyed it. Makes my life go in motion. Though I may some day have to abandon it to pursue my dreams, my place for now will be there. Besides, I need to earn a buck to get food, y'know. xD

Onkel Krillos! Yup, I have officially become an uncle of an baby boy! He was born on 23rd December, the day before Christmas. ...Does that make him an semi-Jesus? ...Bah! Whatever! I'am an uncle and I'am proud of it. I'll shall show my nephew the love, joy and humor life it offers and I'll do it in style! :excited:

That is all about how I spent my year. Hope it wasn't too wasteful. ^^;

As for my resolutions of this new year, it's simple. Live long and hope I make ALOT more better progress with my art than last year!

Hello again, folks! It's been like... several... MONTHS... since I wrote a journal and I apologize for that! But now I'am back and ready to share some news with you all!

Where's the months' worth of art?

I know, I know! I'am very late for new tasty arts and I deeply apologize for that! Geez!

The reasons for such delays is mostly about I had a major art block, my job as an assistant in a video rental store and, of course, laziness. xD
And the coming of Christmas doesn't help things at all, either! ^^;

Yeah, it was tough months that went and gone, but I assure you all. I shall snap out of it and shower the galleries of my art of creativity! In fact, I'am currently working on some new art with little time I have!

...Sounds dramatic enough. No? Argh, confound it all...

I'm sad to inform you all that  Odylic-Force, one of the artists whom I grown to respect since a teenager... has snapped. She began to draw bizarre and somewhat disgusting pics. But of course, she usually like to draw things that seems our of this world, but when she began to write countless of journals of pointless journals and began to taunt openly to the admin, I knew something is horribly wrong with her.

I never knew the reason of whatever happened her, but I suspect that her mother, who has a brain tumor, may have just recently passed away.

I have admired her art-style since the longest time I could remember and to see her mentality fall out of balance like this really hurt deep down in me. And what's worse, I can't do anything to help her out of her mess, out of international reasons. All I can do now, is pray that she'll overcome her terrible ordeal and hope the rest of her life is more gentle one.

But I won't let down from this incident, because her awesomeness in art will live on in form of the very first commission I bought from her! Every time I look at the piece she made for me, which I have it framed and placed it on my "wall of fame", it'll remind me of the younger days of dreams and inspirations of an artist. And thus, everything I respect about her lives on, whatever happens!
