General | Posted 14 years agoIt's not often that there are enough events in my life to actually make it hard for me to even gather my thoughts on it all, but well here I am. There's a couple things, some nice, some interesting, some sad, but the most important thing is my first real experience with death as an adult who really grasp the finality of it.....A month ago we got news that my grandmother had suffered a heart attack. We headed up to Maine as soon as we could.
For the first day, it was extremely unsettling to see her all wired up to tubes and unable to speak, only to stare at us. Ont the second day, I realized the silence was better...the only things she would say were "help me". Monday, well, she was moved into a separate room, and that evening I gave her a kiss goodnight and that was the last time I'll ever see her...
death is really strange. It's hard to grasp the concept of a person...just not being there anymore. It makes you think *allot*. I've never felt anything like that before. It makes you feel helpless, but also like you want to be a bigger person.
Grandmas memorial service is next week, It's probably going to hard to be at the actual service but it is a beautiful way to get together and celebrate how much someones touched your life. I had a lot of fun with grandma growing up. baking deserts, reading stories, playing at the beach. Sadly in more recent years she wasn't as mobile or healthy so we couldn't really do much baking together, but I still enjoyed her company.

General | Posted 14 years agoSo on the 4th of July, I was driving home and had to take an alternate route because of the parade, and guess what I found? A new retro video game store, just a few towns away from home! This is something I've always really wanted, so it makes me real happy. It's a kind of sucky that I don't actually know joust HOW new this place is, and I find it as I've started condensing my personal possessions in order to pack for moving away.That's just...cruel irony, but on the the bright side, if my income stops being crappy, I now have a place to buy old games without paying shipping fees on amazon! x3

bitchwolf which was pretty fun to fill out, though it also made me a little sad thinking back on all the childhood art I've lost.
When did you start drawing?
As early as kindergarten...my first inspiration for drawing were video games and my cats.
What were the names of your first characters?
My first characters were simply anthro versions of my cats - I took each of their quirks and made it into a personality. Socks is a big-mouthed, crabby sounding Burmese...so I made him a crab. Tennessee was a big tubby thing, so he was the clumsy glutton. Then there was the main hero, my favorite cat as a child, Gizmo... a spunky, runt-sized grey Maine coon. Later, around the 8-12 years old age, i also adapted em and my friends as exaggerated cartoon characters.
Did they have a back story? What was it?
I can't remember very much, sadly, as most of them have vanished ( I think I threw all of it away during my suicidal phase of my early teens) - but Gizmo was set to be a video game and comic book hero. He would battle strange, drooling children called "clumps" or just "children" (children were supposedly the dumb, drooling mundane obedient youths and "kids" were the cools ones, on Gizmos side, who were "really rad" and "way past cool", and did their own thing). the clumps and children also had masters of course, I think the main bad guy was some kind of big green goop monster. or maybe it was a deranged school teacher...maybe both. *shrugs* Basically, the cartoons series Kids Next Door TOTALLY stole my idea. *laughs*
My God, I wish I had that old art now...stupid teen angst. <_<
What influenced the design of your first characters?
Garfield, Calvin and Hobbes, Sonic The Hedgehog, eeek the cat! (his show inspired me to draw gizmo as an anthro) wait OH MY GOD EEK THE CAT 'scuse me, I gotta raid the internet for some nostalgia....*ahem*
Is there anything you draw very similar now as to when you were a child?
Somewhat similarly, yes. But my comics always had rushed art and left out the details, such as the socks and gloves cuffs on sonic and tails, and Tails hair. (I also had a slapstick sonic comic series) I try to include the details even in silly little drawings nowadays.
What do you hate drawing?
muzzles at odd angles,..any anatomy at a complicated angle for that matter, complex hand gestures, mouths, very complex man-made scenery - you can't get get away with organic lines or variations like in natural scenery.
What do you love drawing?
cute stuff, funny faces, tails, blood, fire, wreckage, deteriorated and broken things. corsets, sexy or fluffy attire. eyelashes, girls. tears, emotional gestures (even though I'm not good at conveying them) and dreamy landscapes....which sounds odd, but, like, look at the scenery of Ray-Man. Stuff like that :3
What artists do you look up to?
Oh gosh. Where to start? I'll try to keep it brief...
-Jay Axer and Jhonen Vasquez: Both introduced me to the the amazing idea of intentionally warped perspective and anatomy alongside just really freaky character and scenery concepts. Always been a big inspiration to me. Axer's stuff is less freaky and more sane now, which is good, cuz it's like, it's grown with me and his work is still beautiful. As for Jhonen..w.ell, the visuals of Invader Zim blew my mind when I saw the first episode. Great stuff!
-Patrick Spaziantine: Aside from ze folks who made the actual box art and sprites, I feel he's pretty much the most amazing Sonic comic artist ever. His attention to detail and character is just incredible, he really brought each and every story to life in the Sonic comics. I even loved how he drew Robotnik's flubby belly. *grins*
-Lisa frank and whoever did Raymans art: The epitome of eye candy. Excessive bright colors and rainbows can very easily become Gaudy, but these people do it right.
-Christian Riesse Lassen: A more....realistic approach to same beauty of the art mentioned above, Christian's fantastic paintings have always wowed me. They really make you want to just run outside and soak in the beauty of nature,e specially the ocean and the sky. I am disappointed that I can't get more of his stuff, I've got some book covers, old folders and a single decently sized desktop wallpaper. He's even painted peoples cars!! it's amazing.
Some of the things I really like in artist are emotion, good use of colors, and creative designs - whether they be haunting, bizarre, beautiful or funny.
What art genre do you dislike the most?
I agree with bitchwolf on the intentionally ugly art, things like "troll style" drawings or just intentionally grotesque or sloppy drawings. I can't understand why anyone likes it. Most porn, too. I tend to find it grotesque and creepy more than pleasurable. :s Also, anime, because I'm so sick of seeing it and I everything looks the same to me.
What art genre do you love the most?
a tie between cartoons, venting art and scenery. Cartoons show allot more personality than realistic characters, in my opinion. Venting art helps me deal with my frustrations. And scenery inspires me, either just to day dream or to create video game environments.
What was the last thing you drew?
A sketch of my freind Zack as a girl, eating spaghetti and meatballs. :p
Who is your newest character?
I guess that'd be Krimson, and shes a few years old. Shows how little time I've made for art the past few years :/

Birthday will be kind of bittersweet because my cousins moving away again :/ But, hey it'll still be fun, I'm gonna spend a day with him and Tina before they go, and later this month I'll arrange a party with some other friends, the small handful that I still have locally. <<;
OH YEAH I also ordered the half-life 2 art book, and I recently got the sims 3, and...yeah! excitement and fun. I'm also still really in love with little big planet. X3

1. Do you sleep in your bra? Why yes, yes ah do.
2. Do you sleep with socks on? My body heat goes crazy allot at night, so no, even if it's cold.
3. Would you rather sleep alone or with someone else? Honestly? alone. body heat, comfort, and snoring ruin my sleep when I'm next to someone else.

General | Posted 14 years agoWell, this WAS gonna be a journal saying I'll be dissappearing for the weekend - visiting my grandparents for Easter, but good news is, my grandpa called and said I'm allowed to use his laptop if I want, so I'll still be around, probably during the later hours. ^_^ So I'm happy, had a few friends I was gonna be missing dearly, but now I'll still get to stay in touch with you guys. <3

RI Furmeet
General | Posted 14 years agoAttended the orientation RI furmeet yesterday...it was a so-so experience for me. While generally fun, I felt a little disrespected (inviting a tg to your little meeting and calling her 'he' in front of strangers, kinda...rude/embarrassing, methinks...), and very put-off and out of place with all the atrocious language and unpleasant conversation topics throughout the day (condoms, raunchy gory cartoons, mutilated penises, just <i>looovely</i> things to talk about over lunch with a bunch of strangers *makes gagging motions* I really don't belong in this fandom, do I..? XD ).
But, onto the Good! Positivity, people! *throws flowers and confetti*
One of the guys there, Stiggy I believe, had a really lovely tail, such nice vibrant colors and he let me pet it...heee. And speaking of tails, the lovely one I got
simplymadd got me so much attention..attention I wasn't used to...*blushes* random hugs, tail pettings from hyper girls, little kids chasing me around "look, she has a tail!!" *spins in her chair* I'm starting to see why fursuiters have so much fun making people smile and entertaining children. <3
Oh, yeah, I actually got shooed away from the mens room and ordered to use the ladies room, too. Now that's a heck of a compliment! *grins*
since we were at the mall, I got some nice things too, finally got use my gift cards, some new Sonic comics and ps3 games, as well as a fluffy tutu-like skirt at hot Topic and some jewelry.

simplymadd got me so much attention..attention I wasn't used to...*blushes* random hugs, tail pettings from hyper girls, little kids chasing me around "look, she has a tail!!" *spins in her chair* I'm starting to see why fursuiters have so much fun making people smile and entertaining children. <3Oh, yeah, I actually got shooed away from the mens room and ordered to use the ladies room, too. Now that's a heck of a compliment! *grins*
since we were at the mall, I got some nice things too, finally got use my gift cards, some new Sonic comics and ps3 games, as well as a fluffy tutu-like skirt at hot Topic and some jewelry.

New Glasses and a meme
General | Posted 15 years agoSo, I went to an eye appointment today, and got my eye-holes all poked and prodded, not very fun...but then i picked out some new frames..i wanted ones that looked cute and girly, which was hard with my semi-boyish face, but i found a pair even my mom liked on me! So I hope it'll look good when they're all ready for me.
You know, I really gotta learn how to use our camera with that new gadget printer/scanner/everything of ours....
Been enjoying my PS3 so far, though I still haven't been able to get much for it though, due to..well, the new glasses (them things ain't cheap! for those of you with not-crap eyeballs...be very grateful.)

This actually sounds pretty challenging...hrrrm...-ponders-
1. Whenever I'm really angry at someone I sometimes mutter obscenities under my breath in frustration (Despite my intentions of being proper and polite). I'm not proud of the fact, but that's my pent-up rage rearing it's ugly little head when I have no music or video games to release it into.
2. I don't come across to many as the type of person who enjoys abrasive, aggressive, scary or violent-sounding music, but I am, as it gives me an adrenaline rush
or helps me get out all my pent-up rage. The catch is of course, I prefer instrumental aggressive music (like game soundtracks) , since the lyrics are often often too obscene or unrelatable for me. The same goes for certain aggressive or scary video games.
3. My sense of humor is a pretty odd - very doofy and kid-like. It doesn't show much for most people because I'm already insecure about making a good impression and am afraid they'll think me mentally handicapped or stupid. <.< My humor consists of almost all inside jokes, silly voices, pretending to overreact to stupid things, silly faces, poor English, occasional roughhousing and poking fun at people who take silly things way too seriously. ^^; A good example of my kind of humor is the John freeman videos on youtube. :p The "unfortunate" aspect of that is what most people find funny I find dumb and unamusing. :/ Most material intended to be comedic merely bores or annoys me.
4. I like to adventure by wandering somewhat aimlessly with a freind or two, seeking out interesting places like forests, junkyards, abandoned buildings, etc. As I wander them I like have a throwback to my childhood by fantasizing about being in a video game world.
5. I like to sing along to my music...but mostly when alone, as my voice often cracks or strains, and I forget certain lyrics, quite embarrassing XD
ok...getting trickier now...
6. My sex drive is a funny thing..people seem to be surprised that I don't like most pornography or the idea of intercourse. I merely enjoy physical contact and affection, as well as whatever pleasure it may result in. I'd chalk it up to my sheltered upbringing and self-image issues (not liking your 'lower anatomy' tends to put a damper on your urge to "get it on"...)
7. When I was younger, I did some dangerous, dumb stuff, hopefully nothing illegal, but i hung out with troublesome teens, and we burn and smash things, wandered away from our parents...probably bothered innocent bystanders...
8. I actually have drank before. I sampled a small sip of one or two alcoholic beverages, and didn't care for either of them, furthering my disinterest in drinking altogether.
9. Ever seen Monk? I'm like Monk. I neurotically over-organize things, I schedule my "fun", i need things done a certain way or it throws me all off (when people 'help' me at work it makes me mad XD)...I use a pair of dice to avoid me freaking out over trivial decisions every day, and my room, computer, and calendar are marked with silly neurotic little things all over the place.
10. I picked on and was rough with animals allot as a kid, and felt terrible for it later. It's one of the things that probably gave way to self-harm during my teen years. I also went vegetarian for a while, but eventually succumbed to the tastiness of certain products like beef jerky and chicken nuggets <<;;; Though I still seldom enjoy most well-loved meat products such as steak, fish, chicken and pork.

General | Posted 15 years agoSo...yeah...I've been having serious issues gettin' on Fa the past few days. I restarted and cleared my cookies but firefox still wouldn't connect properly. I'm using google chrome for it now, and it still times out more than it should.
If anyone has any advice on things to try (keep in mind I'm not exceedingly techno-jargon savvy outside of game design), any tips would be appreciated.
As long as I'm posting a journal..is there anything new with me? Not really, no...life's been pretty dull and monotonous, only interesting thing as of late was helping my cousin move into his new place, but that's all done..I got enough money to get a Xbox 360 soon, I hope...I'll also be visiting my friends for 3 days today on a mini-vacation, that'll be nice. But still...bleh. I'm getting sick of this yucky cold weather...I wanna get out and do stuff but it's too cold. DX

Christmas Turnout
General | Posted 15 years agoWell, it was actually very nice, considering I came down with a horrendous sinus infection the week of, but managed to get antibiotics on Christmas Eve and by now I'm almost completely healed up. Didn't get too many gifts, cuz we're pretty poor this year, but I had a wonderful time with my family. X3
Some of the few neat gifts I did get were pretty lacy armwarmers, a Sonic snuggie (I LOVE it), and a few new steam games as well. ^^ And a free 30 GB mp3 player I got last month, which happened to be something on my wishlist, whaddya know.

Another Fund Raiser (please read)

solcherias freind has suffered severe trauma to his head. Someone has claimed he tripped over a pvc pipe, but she thinks he was viciously attacked by someone, since the doctors didn't find any evidence of a fall. He may also become mentally disabled.
I'm joining in her fundraiser to earn money to help pay for his medical expenses. Anyone who is willing to do the same, please do so and help spread the word. Money payment methods will be posted at a later date.
prices are as follows:
-3 dollars for a black and white inked
-5 dollars for a full color picture of one character, colored digitally or traditionally, whichever you prefer.
^ (+5 dollars for each additional character in the picture)
I prefer to avoid most fetish related art, if possible - but It can be discussed, if it's something I am okay with drawing.. ( but those will take longer to complete, keep in mind)

General | Posted 15 years agoOkay, finally getting around to typing this up. Post Con/boyfriend-visit journal!
Well, I'll try to split this up..it's probably gonna end up pretty long, hehehe....
-Taenils place-
I just loved it there. We click so well together, and his mom and landlord lady are really sweet and understanding people. I felt totally welcome and accepted, which is saying something when you're an odd duck(fox?) like myself. The location was quiet and peaceful, the animals were adooooorable, and my TaeTae was such a fun little snuggabug. We played video games on his crappy tv, drove around town (I drove a big ol truck! and didn't kill anyone! X3), cuddled, had loverly food...They've even proposed to let me move in there. Which I am really considering, because most of my friends are moving away within the next year or so, and I might as well relocate to somewhere that makes me happy and accepts me, right?
So, on Wednesday night
RJ-Wolfox showed up, we slept a whole 2 hours that night due to the uncomfortable floor and general excitement, then headed out to the car. we lost the keys before going and the car started flicking on and off on its own - turned out the keys fell out of RJs pocket and Tae was standing on them. XD
I thought the 10 hour drive to Oklacon would be torturous, but it wasn't - for me and Spencer at least - but poor RJ had to deal with the stupid GPS that took us sightseeing through the ghetto and into construction sites. After legions of porn billboards, locating the lovely Toad Suck Park, exploding bugs on the windshield, and becoming repeatedly lost due to digital-el-stupido, we finally arrived at the park Thursday evening!
Now, the con, oh Gosh, the con! Just walking made me nearly die of cutegasm. It was really hard to fight the urge to tackle-cuddle every fursuiter in sight, but I (mostly) contained myself. I was glad I brought so much money, I was expecting to spend most of it helping out RJ and Tae, but since they're both amazingly sweet they kept spoiling me instead, especially Tae X( But, alas, I got to spend my money getting some very nice commissions from some wonderful ladies such as
Luthien_Nightwolf and 
bunidoom and ordered a tail-and-ear set from SimplyMadd
(All of which I'll be uploading eventually) I also got to try on a fursuit head http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4729205 at the simply mad table, and gosh, it was the cutest thing ever..they're really hard to see out of though. XD
I also attended one of the raves with RJ, and despite my complete lack of dancing ability, I had a great time, got really into the beat, and there were so many interesting outfits and dances to see. :3
I met some awesome people, most briefly, but we had managed to set up camp next to
AshleyFableBlack and her fiancee, and well...*blushes and squees* they are amazing, wonderful people....Ashleys like a mommy, sister and sexy-freind all rolled into one, hehehe. we went out to eat/adventure a few times, and she helped me off my shyness for good by getting me into a cute little outfit, part of which she let me keep. *murrs happily* sexy little corset...I could probably gush a lot more about how much I lavished your company, but ...you know. journals long enough already. Can't wait to see you two sweeties again.
I also got to briefly meet some other lovely folks,
pan-pan at the Chinese restaurant we went to...where I learned that stiletto heels are murder on the ankles..*cringes* but my fluffy carried me partway back to camp. X3

We didn't get to talk much, but I also met Jesus

there were a few downsides to the con, the only really big one being the bathrooms and the tent conditions. See, this was my first time camping without my family, and we were *horribly* unprepared....ooof...we had to make a crack-of-dawn run to wal-mart to nab a heater and sleeping bag, and even then the tent was on a lumpy, hilly area. we woke up in an awkward slouchy pile every night, and we barely got any sleep to begin with. There was also a fly infestation, especially in the bathrooms which were well...designed by like, the biggest pervert ever, or..something...you'll learn more of that in future doodles, dears. It also seemed like food was scarce for us cheap-tickets attendees. Thankfully pan-pan made delicious breakfast for us, and we went out to eat enough to sustain our tummies throughout the weekend.
I guess that covers all the con news...wonderful, sweet, adorable, sexy fun time all around! Looking forward to further cons, and even more to seeing you guys again. ^^
----return home
Ride home went quickly and mostly smoothly, though my Tae got sick from the bad roads ;.; and RJ got sick when we went back home. Tae and I enjoyed some more cozy bonding for the last 2 days, before I had to be scooted off to the airport. I got 1 more little treat before heading home, my friend SomeOddGuy met me at the airport. ^^ We got to sit and talk for a while, sharing art and such, before saying our goodbyes and me zipping home on my nice lil' airplane ride. It was my first time riding a plane at night, and oh boy, were those city lights gorgeous. ^^
Now I'm back home, gotta organize and upload all my con stuff, and I'm still waiting for a request and the tail commissions, so part of the lovely furry feeling is still with me. Ashley hinted that I may get to see her again sometime in the near future, and if a few things can be ironed out, I may be moving in with my Tae within the next year or so. I love to adventure, - and i fi can vacation halfway across the country on my own, why not try living halfway across it, too?

I just loved it there. We click so well together, and his mom and landlord lady are really sweet and understanding people. I felt totally welcome and accepted, which is saying something when you're an odd duck(fox?) like myself. The location was quiet and peaceful, the animals were adooooorable, and my TaeTae was such a fun little snuggabug. We played video games on his crappy tv, drove around town (I drove a big ol truck! and didn't kill anyone! X3), cuddled, had loverly food...They've even proposed to let me move in there. Which I am really considering, because most of my friends are moving away within the next year or so, and I might as well relocate to somewhere that makes me happy and accepts me, right?
So, on Wednesday night
RJ-Wolfox showed up, we slept a whole 2 hours that night due to the uncomfortable floor and general excitement, then headed out to the car. we lost the keys before going and the car started flicking on and off on its own - turned out the keys fell out of RJs pocket and Tae was standing on them. XDI thought the 10 hour drive to Oklacon would be torturous, but it wasn't - for me and Spencer at least - but poor RJ had to deal with the stupid GPS that took us sightseeing through the ghetto and into construction sites. After legions of porn billboards, locating the lovely Toad Suck Park, exploding bugs on the windshield, and becoming repeatedly lost due to digital-el-stupido, we finally arrived at the park Thursday evening!
Now, the con, oh Gosh, the con! Just walking made me nearly die of cutegasm. It was really hard to fight the urge to tackle-cuddle every fursuiter in sight, but I (mostly) contained myself. I was glad I brought so much money, I was expecting to spend most of it helping out RJ and Tae, but since they're both amazingly sweet they kept spoiling me instead, especially Tae X( But, alas, I got to spend my money getting some very nice commissions from some wonderful ladies such as
Luthien_Nightwolf and 
bunidoom and ordered a tail-and-ear set from SimplyMadd(All of which I'll be uploading eventually) I also got to try on a fursuit head http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4729205 at the simply mad table, and gosh, it was the cutest thing ever..they're really hard to see out of though. XD
I also attended one of the raves with RJ, and despite my complete lack of dancing ability, I had a great time, got really into the beat, and there were so many interesting outfits and dances to see. :3
I met some awesome people, most briefly, but we had managed to set up camp next to
AshleyFableBlack and her fiancee, and well...*blushes and squees* they are amazing, wonderful people....Ashleys like a mommy, sister and sexy-freind all rolled into one, hehehe. we went out to eat/adventure a few times, and she helped me off my shyness for good by getting me into a cute little outfit, part of which she let me keep. *murrs happily* sexy little corset...I could probably gush a lot more about how much I lavished your company, but ...you know. journals long enough already. Can't wait to see you two sweeties again. I also got to briefly meet some other lovely folks,
pan-pan at the Chinese restaurant we went to...where I learned that stiletto heels are murder on the ankles..*cringes* but my fluffy carried me partway back to camp. X3 bunidoom Huggable, adorable freind of Ashleys, with equally snuggly cute artwork; it was wonderful to meet you in the Artists Alley. ^^ I hope to get to know you better and meet you at further cons. also, don't suppose I can add you on second life?We didn't get to talk much, but I also met Jesus
Falconpunch and I have to say, your Jesus ferret fursona is adorable and fun*giggles*there were a few downsides to the con, the only really big one being the bathrooms and the tent conditions. See, this was my first time camping without my family, and we were *horribly* unprepared....ooof...we had to make a crack-of-dawn run to wal-mart to nab a heater and sleeping bag, and even then the tent was on a lumpy, hilly area. we woke up in an awkward slouchy pile every night, and we barely got any sleep to begin with. There was also a fly infestation, especially in the bathrooms which were well...designed by like, the biggest pervert ever, or..something...you'll learn more of that in future doodles, dears. It also seemed like food was scarce for us cheap-tickets attendees. Thankfully pan-pan made delicious breakfast for us, and we went out to eat enough to sustain our tummies throughout the weekend.
I guess that covers all the con news...wonderful, sweet, adorable, sexy fun time all around! Looking forward to further cons, and even more to seeing you guys again. ^^

Ride home went quickly and mostly smoothly, though my Tae got sick from the bad roads ;.; and RJ got sick when we went back home. Tae and I enjoyed some more cozy bonding for the last 2 days, before I had to be scooted off to the airport. I got 1 more little treat before heading home, my friend
SomeOddGuy met me at the airport. ^^ We got to sit and talk for a while, sharing art and such, before saying our goodbyes and me zipping home on my nice lil' airplane ride. It was my first time riding a plane at night, and oh boy, were those city lights gorgeous. ^^Now I'm back home, gotta organize and upload all my con stuff, and I'm still waiting for a request and the tail commissions, so part of the lovely furry feeling is still with me. Ashley hinted that I may get to see her again sometime in the near future, and if a few things can be ironed out, I may be moving in with my Tae within the next year or so. I love to adventure, - and i fi can vacation halfway across the country on my own, why not try living halfway across it, too?

General | Posted 15 years agoSome of my friends know about this, and it's been a big strain on me for the past 2 weeks - I had (maybe still have) a sexual stalker.
2 Fridays ago, a stranger approached me in his car and gave me a letter, before driving away really fast. kinda suspicious, right? well his letter said he'd been watching me for 2 years and he wanted to do explicit sexual things to me.
Oh God....O_O
I Went right to the cops, but they couldn't file a report because I had to go to the station of the town the incident occurred at.
So, I didn't call him back (he left me his number) and at first I thought he took the hint, but 2 weeks later (this just happened a couple days ago at work), he started following me on foot, then in his car, shouting at me to come to him....thankfully, he didn't follow me inside, so I got the town police to come...finally got everything reported, and the police talked to him on the phone. I am praying to God he won't bother me anymore, if he does, I was told I can probably press charges.
I'm considerably less scared now, but the fear is still there. I'm just so grateful he didn't try to resort to kidnapping or anything, because the last I saw him, he sounded pretty ticked off at me for ignoring him. Even a small town can be dangerous, and I now carry pepper spray. ^^;
I'll call this a life lesson, to be aware of my surroundings, and to stay away from strangers....sometimes my kid-like innocent views get the best of me, it's easy for me to forget that there are people out there who will resort to violence and rape to get what they want, that some people will always be liars and manipulators...I still wish to think the best of everyone I meet in life, but I have to keep my wits about me as well, it seems.
Glad I've got my visit with

also, I'm not sure how to put one together...I think I have lamination supplies, but after that, do I just use a safety pin or something?

After initial excitement over it being semi-possible..I'm realizing I need to become prompt with massing together as much money as possible to do this. I also wanna know if any of you guys are going, or would like to go. If I can, I might finally set up Paypal or something, and offer commissions.
I have vacation time available, so work probably won't be a problem. and if I can talk to my college professor I can maybe work around the one or two days I'm gonna miss? this seems to be a mostly at-home class so far, anyway...
I'm kinda bugging out due to the fact that greyhound buses get more expensive the longer you take to order your tickets. and if valorail and I can't pool together enough money, then he won't be ale to come to the Con with me - though I still hope to be able to visit him on the way to and from the con (depending on how badly that increases overall expenses)
So...yeah..we've already done some planning, gave ourselves headaches from all the mental-money-management...XD but I'm still excited for this tentative idea. I'd be thrilled if any of my other furry pals could be there to meet as well my sweetie Tae and the spiffy skunkubus. :3

I have to mash on it like I'm playing Tekken just to get it to turn on or off or even puase the song it's playing! It took me a week to accumulate 1,905 delectable little songs of warm fuzzy joy.

I..uh..might have to get a new one. When you've gone from 1 to 8 gigs of music, it's kind of hard to revert back. I'd feel bad taking my old one back from my little sis, too. but...80 dollars! 10 dollars for each gig! The horrors!

I...really wanna go to a furcon guys. :c
Last night I dreamt I was at one, and i had a fluffy tail and ears...durrr...it was so cute. everyone was so freindly and flufffy and colorful. some were people in costumes, but some people were real furries too...including this furry leon kennedy who was hitting on me... D: (probably sine hes my fave Resident Evil character :p )
That dream was just fluffy heaven and waking up made me a little mad. Anyone know the closest furry gathering to Rhode Island? XD

I'm back from my weekend camping trip! It was amaaaazing.
We stopped at a bunch of clothes stores on the way, which was kinda torturous cuz i found a bunch of cute things, but i didn't wanna waste my flea market money. the next day at the campground I hung out with my awesome friend Angela and her bro. I met all these other nice girls too, and we played with Izas amazing little bitey kitten. and her friends fat little fluffy dog. We had giant smores and hid in a pirate ship, when mean little kids attacked us. but they got in trouble and had to apologize. XD
And one of the girls stole and hid Dylan (Angelas bro)s Axe spray...and he got really mad when he found out, it was amusing. WI got semi-brave and went on the long toobing run with everyone too - though i was a dork and wore a life jacket the whole time.
At the flea market, well..my lame family stalled all morning so they were pretty much closing down when we got there...but I got some pretty dresses and shirts and some video games, as well as who framed roger rabbit. i wanted to get little pet shop of horrors, but my parents kinda complained allot so I didn't...even though it probably would have amused me...
Also, I totally sketched out the first panel of JoyKill! yay.

General | Posted 15 years agoBirthday party last Saturday went great! One of my friends didn't get picked up cuz his brother lost his cell phone. >.< But I'll get to see him at his Graduation Party soon.
We had some art time (my friend Tina made me a piccie I'll be coloring and uploading soon) ^^, and went for a nice walk, and we watched Jurassic Park. SUCH a cool movie. Hadn't seen I was little and covered my eyes through the half the thing. Though the dilophasaur part still scared me. *shudders*
I might be starting a spontaneous comic strip thing soon, too. I already decided on the title Joy-Kill, it's basically gonna be my way of turning daily oddities and gripes into my strange attempts at humor. You know, like that pudgy Badger Loser guy we all love! It's obvious I'm far too lazy to maintain a real, serious comic series, so this route will be more fun.
