Part rant, part just plain confused ._.
General | Posted 17 years ago So...today I got banned from a forum with little no warning for accidentally "necro-ing" too much or whatever it's called.
The system the site used notifies of you of thread replies by sending them to your email account, and apparently I was receiving warnings in my e-mail. Well, I only don't say to myself when browsing a forum "hm, I better check my email for no specific reason!"
So then I received a PM on the forums to stop necro-ing, and I apologized, and stopped posting on threads.
An hour later, I got banned anyway.

Now, I'm curious...why is replying to old threads such a bad thing that it can get you banned. is it strenuous to the server? does it make an extra chore the admins somehow?
I just can't see a clear reason that it is a bad thing. Forums confuse me.
Well, I'll be unbanned next Tuesday. See if ever talk to anyone on that forum again outside my own threads. xp

Happy New Year! (i'm back)
General | Posted 17 years agoSo, 2009 is here now. To be honest it was over too quick, having to constantly work and having an online relationship makes time go by way too fast. :/
I hate for this to be a negative journal, so I'm going to try to keep this positive.
Christmas went well, though I was honestly disappointed with most of my gifts, which makes me feel like a brat. (It's not the gifts weren't nice, it just I hadn't gotten one thing from my Christmas wish list). But, I went out and got myself an Xbox to make up for it, since I couldn't afford a 360. Ironically, I'm struggling with paying for college even though I refrained from getting a 360 for that very reason.
But, getting a new console was definitely a nice gift for myself, and technically, most of it was payed for by Christmas money.
Had allot of fun with my cousin, but I'm so glad to have my room to myself again. I missed you all so much, and I can't wait to get caught up on anything.
I think I want to make 2 New Years Resolutions, though God knows I'll have trouble keeping them.
1 - Prioritize the important things in life. Stop making excuses to cause myself more suffering than necessary, don't let people get to me. always look on the bright side. Be forgiving, never hold a grudge.
2 - try to catch up on all my request and trades!!!

3 for cheaper consoles, I would like a Sega Saturn or original xbox.
4 um, an Xbox 360 or PS3. pricey, yeah. But I do want sum!
5 a bunch of games that I have a list of , eheh. allot of what I want is just games to add to my collection. I'll throw that obnoxious list on here, sure! (being a collector, I prefer my games with the case and manual included, used games are just fine)

- The visit with Rush was very fun, we explored the woods, played through Silent Hill 4, I got Rush into You don't know Jack (hehehe), shopped bravely on black Friday, and had yummy thanksgiving dinners. :3
- My kitty Turner had to go the vet while I was away, but he is okay. Has a funny draining tube thing in his neck. o.o;
- Rushes computer has been being a brat, so he may not be online for a while he tries to fix it..and I may not either, cuz it will free me up to try to get more art done, I hope.

General | Posted 17 years agoNow, I don't normally bother with thse quiz things as they are kind of annoying and dull most of the time. However, I do enjoy ones that are uiwuely emotional or partain to certain hobbies/interests. well, here goes:

1 I fear most the death of a loved one, even more so than my own death. Really close friends are hard for me to come by, and they are extremely important to me.
2 I fear losing my irreplaceable personal belongings. Losing my video game/Sonic collection would be horrible too; But worse would be to lose my photos, artwork, stories I have made...I obsessively make digital backups of things i make for this reason.
3 Being alone at night. My imagination becomes overactive and every odd sight, sound or sensation becomes a nightmarish thing to me. I have to have tons of lights and music or tv going to feel secure.
4 Certain types of noises. Hearing a single strange noise with an unknown source scares the hell out of me. Especially faint tapping, scrapes, or bizarre vocalizations..the audio in horror games always disturbs me more than anything else.
5 People finding out who I really am. I am always terrified people will notice I am feminine, or that I love my best friend. I am always always of rejection, physical abuse, taunting. I am especially afraid of my family finding out. I am afraid of harsh reactions based on stereotypical assumptions the average person would make about me.

It makes me feel guilty and bad, but people who are deformed really frighten me and I can't bring myself to look at them. I don't have anything against them, I just get freaked out badly..
7 I greatly fear heights, and deep water. I also can't stand seeing blades near peoples bodies. I have had bad experiences with all these things; so I can understand where these phobias come from.

3 Music. I just love collecting to and listening to music. I like lyrical songs for their ability to be quirky, tell a story, or relate to my feelings exactly. I love instrumental music for creating an atmosphere, which can be anything from serene and peaceful to violent and wild.
4 Animals. Friendly, affectionate or just plain cute animals always win me over. Animals are simpler (not meaning stupid, meaning they don't obsess over fickle things like subcultures or other dramatic nonsense ) and therefore kinder than humans, most of the time.
5 The Internet. I love the resources available on the internet, (art, music, movies, games, all the info you could ever want ) I certainly do not love the humanity lying therein, however. 6 having harmless fun . roughhousing, joking and rambling and shouting about goofy things. It's hard to find anyone I can enjoy doing this with , in fact I sometimes only have little kids to act silly with, because most people my age would rather me watch raunchy movies and drink beer with them.

1 I can be an overly emotional drama queen. Yes, I unfortunately don't help disperse the emo/goth stereotype; as I can be downright lifeless and depressed at times.
2 I can enjoy cleaning and organizing very much, I guess you could say I'm very much the domestic type. I actually have fun vacuuming and dusting and arranging my collections.
3 I can run very fast being of very little weight, however; because I am unhealthy I can't keep up the speed for a very long time. But I rarely ever lose a short footrace.
4 I can be very silly and loud, when I'm really happy I get that way, unless I'm in a restrictive situation. (like working xp )
5 When I focus hard and practice allot, I can become good to excellent at almost any game; but only playing against the computer. Other players are a whole new challenge, and in some games, they know all these crazy tricks that the game manual didn't tell you. (*cough*ut2004 online *cough*)
6 can't think of anything else worth noting. ^^;

1. I can't seem to draw most things as well as I picture them in my mind. The fact there are pretty much no help books for anthro/cartoony art isn't a big help, either.

3 I can't feel completely at ease around my parents unless I am not in my room and there is nothing relating to love/marriage or cross dressing around.

1. well this category is kinda redundant as I don't find girls sexually attractive, but oh well. -- most of these apply to both genders for me.
Her clothes. If she dresses in an interesting manner, I'm more likely to pay her special attention. This especially applies to goth, industrial, emo or punk fashions.
2 Hair and eyes. I always enjoy interesting hairstyles or really rich colors in someones eyes.
3 if she has the same interests. If she likes cartoons, video games, has high moral standards, I'll be less likely to find her a creep. :B
4 girls who treat me like an equal. Girls who make derogatory sexist remarks or act rude in general are a huge turnoff.
5 Okay, I ran out of stuff for girls, so now I'll do guys,. :P -- A person who values love over sex, allot of guys only care about sex and I hate it, I've met some girls like that too.

computer problems, please help!
General | Posted 17 years agoSo yeah, my PC got a virus by accident. Microsoft pulled some crap with "we'll fix that for you with our program...but you have to pay 50$ that you don't have!"
So, I'm trying to find a free method of removing it. Adaware didn't get all of the infection, Spybot won't even launch, and McAfee didn't find anything, either.
The microsoft xp antivirus scanner DID however, show me the filepaths and titles of most of the infections...is it safe for me to manually delete them?
Also, any good *free* antiviral/spyware/etc programs anyone can recommend?

RushEloc !There will be wifi there but I will obviously not be online so much as we will be busy having fun times!
We're going to Ocean City, NJ. Where there is a carnival thingy, and a boardwalk, and beachness!
Also there will be plenty of movies and also scary silent hill and other horror games that will make me inevitably shriek and cling to Rush. ._.;

Well, first of all, my vacation was wet.
As in, it rained.
every.
single.
day.
except the one we went home on, of course. =p
Anyhow, we attended 2 car shows, a cookout, a pretty neat campground, Story Land, and the polar caves.
Story Land was very neat, and had plenty more than just the kiddie stuff you'd expect. My favorite rides/attractions were the cool mining tunnels, the flume, and the spinning teacup thingies. There was some fun creepy statue guys scattered around the place.
On the pirate ride, the piraty tour guide fellow kind of...attacked me because he liked my shirt. XD
The costume shop there had many cute things, lots of princessy stuff and various other fun things. There I bought an old timey hat and a ferret plush (in honor of Moody ferret on fa, heh); as well as a Skunk plush (Circe ^^ ) and a really cute, big Hyena one (Wayra, of course ^-^ ). And also, a kind of wolf memory box for stuff that reminds me of Rush.
at one point we went on this awesome really slow tractor ride, which looked real bad at first, but I found out the thing had awesomely stupid looking and cartoony statues and pictures everywhere. 8D
There was also an amazing circus act, during which I felt the need to point out their clever use of music from The Prodigy and Proppelerheads. The stunt guy at the end was just...awesome. I wish I could gotten pictures, but it was all copyrighted and such.
The morning we first arrived at the campground, I also had a really sweet dream about Rush...it was very simple, but touching, and I woke up crying happy tears.
The pool at the campground had water slides and stuff, it was amazing...but I had trouble on the longer slide, I kept getting stuck...probably cuz I'm too skinny. >>;;;;;
I got a little raccoon figurine at the camp store as well...I'm struggling to find a raccoon plush I actually like, bleh. :/
oh, my mom also fell and broke her hand. ._.
And the polar caves made me kinda dizzy, but I got more cute stuff in there, hehe. a gift for Rushy, as well as a mug.
and 2 other things besides the vacation....
please pray for my kitty Turner ; ;
I think his rib got broken, he seems to be in pain and doesn't want to move much...and he's even "cried" a couple times. :<
and this morning I had a really creepy experience on msn, where someone added me and then wanted me to have cyber sex with her. >< I told her off and blocked her...but somehow...it was really scary. My heart was racing after....it was as if someone had tried to rape me in person...just a bad, weird experience.

General | Posted 17 years agoI'm going to have to cut down on my watch list, I don't even know 75% percent of the people I'm watching, and with my 5, 523 plus new submissions, it's unfair that I never even get to view the new artwork of the people I do know, and I'm always behind....
(plus, I am just tired of seeing obscene journal titles and artwork, its really grating on my nerves to look down my journal and submission list and see the f-bomb whored out over and over and over, etc. Not to mention having my new submission box flooded with yiff/vore/inflation/etc, stuff I'm not really into..(I do realize most of these artists draw plenty of non-fetish/yiff stuff, too, I'm not trying to be judgemental ><))
I'll do my best to make sure I don't unwatch any one who actually faves/comments on my gallery/journals, and once this is all cleaned up, I can return the favor to those of you actually comment and stuff. ^^;

Because moms busy in college, I am going to arrange my own birthday party much later in the month, when I can get Rush up here for the party.
On my birthday however, dad is going to take me out for breakfast, and then we're gonna go play video games at Dave & Busters. ^^

-I recently read through a webcomic called Tales of the questor, I recommend it muchly. My only ciriticism is that it gets wat too wordy at times during dialogue scenes. But it has great action and cuteness. ^^

- I watched I Am Legend recently, it was super good-like. one part made me really sad though. :<

now...I'm just nervous about packing...
I neither trust the airlines or buses with my bags...and want to be able to carry all my special items with me, but I don't know if they'll all fit in a small bag.
right now is one time I DON'T like my laptop having such a big screen. We might want it cuz theres no guarantee we'll always have access to games, and we'll want to keep it touch with y'all while we're down there. It'ss till tentative as to whether I'll be bringing it. I'm real excited, but also really scared of being in New York for 45 scareh minutes, and riding a Greyhound and ebil airplane for the first time ever. >.<

Hospitalized...

Around 5 o clock I started experiencing incredible stomach pain and had to be rushed to the hospital. appendicitis is suspected, though I think it could be food poisoning as well. After 8 hours, I came back home and dry heaved. Now I’m under-observation, trying to get better...the stomach pain is long gone, but the hospital stay left me malnourished and stiff...
I'm also an annoying diet now, where I can only eat "bland" foods...
I just ask to be kept in prayer for a quick recovery, and that I do not have appendicitis.
