Rawr! Been a while! Stuff's been crazy for a while and there's a lot going on. For once, I'm commissioning my first lewd piece for Krypton, so I'm excited to see it! With that, I'm working on watching a bunch of artists that I follow on my secret alt account here instead. I figure if I'm commissioning lewd art myself, it's best I go ahead and watch them here too. It'll be easier to follow those lovely artists with one single account. I'm slowly working my way through that list.

Heya! Just wanting to announce that I'm in the process of selling Arlen, my deer OC, to a friend. I lost connection with her, especially with her origin being heavily tied into a friendship that ended around 2 years ago. Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing great! Work has been crazy and I've come home most days and just slept--but I'm finally getting some time to finish some long-standing WIPs of artwork and I'm really excited! I'm hoping to finish 2-3 more pieces this weekend alone with another 1 or 2 next week. It's been a usual 100degree hot outside almost every day, so fursuiting has been pretty out of the question. I have some newer pictures from my newer head that I've mostly posted tonight, however. I'm looking to finally start catching up soon! So expect comment and fave floods from me soon!

Whew! This past weekend, I had a blast at Furry Siesta--a mini-convention in Richardson, Tx, 15 mins south of me. Was great to go down for fun, then go home and crash in bed. xD It was just a two-day con, but both Friday and Saturday was packed with a lot of fun, suiting and sweating ofc. xD Sunday afternoon, a group us went down to a theatre, in which we got permission to suit in the lobby of, for a 4PM viewing of the new Lion King remake. And alas, this weekend of fun concludes my summer break from work. I go back tomorrow (Monday) to the grind. This week won't be too busy and I'm not expecting to work full days. It'll get a bit more busy by the middle and end of next week when the teachers come back. We were informed that the principal is moving to a different job in the district and she announced the replacement principal. I instantly recognized the name. He was my 6th grade science teacher. o.o so that'll be interesting, assuming he recognizes I was a former student of his years ago xD My old P said she would tell him that I'm there, so I'm looking forward to that.

Art-wise, I was told by the head art teacher that we are doing another staff art-show, so I will, of course, be working on a piece for that! I'm not sure yet what I'll do. Something with Kryp likely though lol. In terms of other art, with my dental work and recovery from that the past couple weeks and the convention this past weekend, art has been slow, but I have a couple in the works that I'm hoping I may be able to knock out at work during downtime.

Just really quickly wanting to catch up a bit here! Sorry I've been inactive again. Work has been busy and I've otherwise been doing a lot of practice or going to furmeets. And Anno 1800 has been taking up quite a bit of my time too. :D I've got several pieces in progress including a few maws that I'm really looking forward to getting done. Rawr! I had an incredible time at Texas Furry Fiesta 2019 (TFF 2019). I was looking forward to it, but the fun I had completely blew my expectations out of the water. Even though I live about 35 minutes north, I decided staying in the hotel would be best since I have a fursuit and wanted to spend as much time there as possible. I roomed with  ktnightwolf and 2 other local furry friends. I was there Thursday afternoon through Sunday evening. I’m not going into detail of everything we did because there was just way too much! I did a LOT of suiting and it was a lot of fun to flesh out my anthro portrayal of Krypton around so many other people. I also got a lot of compliments about my new head (which I’ll post soon hopefully!) and meeting a lot of people that I’d only seen in chatrooms along with the locals that I see quite often. Friday night, though, was a little different. I’m in a Texas Tech furs Telegram group and we all came together with old PC parts to do a 2007 nostalgia build. Basically, the best PC you could build in 2007. I participated in my first fursuit parade on Saturday. I’m not sure how many costumers we had, but we filled an entire ballroom with fuzzy animals :D Once that picture is posted, I’ll share a link to it. The parade itself lasted more than 20 minutes, if that helps put things into perspective.

Sunday was a chill day. I got more pictures with some other suiters that I was looking forward to getting and did a lot more suiting. I had brought all my art stuff with me to the convention, but didn’t touch any of it.. Basically I was either suiting or going to panels most of the time, which I didn’t expect. It was pretty cool outside so it provided a lot of space where suiters could cool off without taking their costumes off too.

I know my summary isn’t the best, because I’ve tried the last couple days to try to explain this experience and I simply can’t. There was so much and so much fun that was had. I can’t wait to do it again. I’m looking to possibly attend Tails and Tornadoes Furcon in Tulsa, OK later this year—a brand new con, but that’s still up in the air.

Ermegerd I'm so excited! Today is the first day of Texas Furry Fiesta in Dallas, Tx! I'm bringing basically everything, fursuit included. I'm leaving work at 2 today to head down there and will be there through Monday morning.
