So...many...games.... Also, MLP hair styling tips?
General | Posted 14 years agoOMG, was OMSI fun yesterday XD
they had all sorts of games, from classic arcade versons of games like Donkey Kong and Gauntlet, to top of the line Playstation Move and Xbox 360 Kinect... they even had a computer set up running WoW... and boy did that computer nearly make me cry... it was getting 60-70 FPS on ULTRA settings T____T
but i had a BLAST... i wandered around the area, playing most of the games there, even got to play Pokemon Yellow...Ahhh wonderful Nostalgia XD
But i am now back, lol...
As for MLP.. I got the Rarity toy while i was gone, the smaller one that come with a saddle and bird. I was wondering if anyone had tips for styling her hair to more resemble her hairstyle in the show? I've never customized a pony as all before so i'm pretty lost XD I already tried wetting her hair and curling around a pencil, but it didn't turn out quite righ, an the curl won't stay, especially in her tail. So... anyone?

I'm gonna go visit my dad... apparently there is a family reunion and he wants me to come so he bought me a train ticket and I leave tomorrow. I'll be back though, Tuesday afternoon-eveningish... dunno if I'll have internet or not though so I;m hoping my FA doesn't explode from three days of not checking it XD
Also, we are gonna go to Omsi in Portland.. they are having a video game history exhibit and my dad and grams on his side are taking me.. its gonna be so frickin cool XD i can't wait to see it. General | Posted 14 years agoSo my grams agreed to buy me a WoW Timecard :D since my account's been inactive for a while now i believe it would be able to qualify for a Scroll of Resurrection...I dunno...
So anyway, I was wondering if anyone would take me up on it XD In case you didn't know, if you resurrect someone and they add time to their account, you get a free month of time :3
so basically, if I'm eligible and you resurrect me, you'll be getting a free month around the 20th :3 If i'm not eligible, then no one really loses out, I'll activate a 7-day thing that i was givin by Blizzard for 4.2 and i'll still add time on the 20th. Either way, I'll be playing again sometime next week.
That being said... I need a realm to play on as well.. I don't want to play on the ones i'm on, but if i put my mind to it, i can level pretty quickly. I prefer playing Tankadins and Druids(feral/heals), and my favorite race is Blood Elf, but I have no real preference for the Horde or the Alliance as i have races i like in each side. And i do have through Cataclysm, so I can make worgen and goblins as well as reach level 85.
So yeah, I'd prefer being able to find someone to play with, even if it's just a guild to chat in vent with while i level. Its just not fun to solo, lol ^^

General | Posted 14 years agoI've decided to become a Pet... I've had pets before, but i've never actually been one... but really, i think it fits my dependent nature perfectly... My Master takes care of me, and gives me the guidance i need to do my best.
As for who my Master is... Well, I've been friends with
for a while now... Met him in SL while i lived in Florida, hung out with him in SL, then discovered he lived like 20 mins away from me IRL now that I live in WA again, so we've been hanging out irl too :3. I knew he took pets, so I asked him and he accepted...
So I am now the Pet of Master Rohn, AKA :3 I even have a collar and a tag ^^ though i only wear the collar as my family wouldn't understand the whole pet thing XD My collar is a handmade one that doesn't really look like a collar so i can wear it just fine :3

General | Posted 14 years agobecause of a lot of things.. My sis told me something that completely devastated me... and I don't know If I'll be able to recover this time... Last time it happened, i very nearly took my own life...but chickened out at the last second... now.. I don't really know if I have anything to life for.. to strive for... Sure i love and am loved.. but my life isn't doing anything, and hasn't for quite some time now.. I never really recovered from the first blow.. it to this day hurts nigh on constantly, despite me trying to push it down and find others to heal it... it wasn't until my sister said what she did that i realized how futile it all was.. how much I'm still caught in that damn web, how the hole punched in my heart wasn't healing, but was continuing to weep, despite my attempt to grown numb to it...
don't worry.. i doubt I'm going to try and take my life.. I'm too much of a wimp when it comes to pain and suffering to be able to handle the idea of causing harm to myself... But right now.. I'm in a fugue... just going though the motions though I feel completely dead inside...
I still love you all, each and every one of you that I said those words to. Don't think i lied to have you cleave to me... I do fall in love easily and deeply... though i'm curious if any of them ACTUALLY remembered or if they just cheated as facebook and Skype both announce birthdays XD
i dunno what i'm going to do today though X.x all i have planned is something boring, but my mother was saying something about going out... might be okay, but i gotta find a bar doing karaoke or i'll be bored outta my frickin mind, since i doubt i'll be able to convince any of my local friends to come with me T-T
so i'm holding a party on Saturday evening... gonna be going out to Kings for dinner(a tasty delicious asian place) then meeting up at my grams to hang out, play games and stuff.. gonna try and convince my mom to brush up on the bar tendering skills and make us drinks XD
probably gonna ask for what i usually ask for,lol GameStop gift cards :3 usually i get enough to get some pretty good things... I'm hoping for enough to get a older 360 Hard Drive(as i traded mine in long ago) and a new copy of Rock Band 3 so I can get my DLC back and start playing again... i still have two guitars, a drumset and a mic from when i was up here before so i can get a whole band going XD
So yeah... dunno what else i really want a 3ds, and not just for Zelda now XD though i wonder if the mirrored Master quest is gonna be like Master Quest on the GC or completely different...i really wanna play the new Mario coming out too.. i literally squeed when they got a Tanuki suit XD

anyway, I arrived to Portland safe and sound, and am sitting at my Dad's house... General | Posted 14 years agoyupyup... I'm flying out tomorrow morning X.x gotta get up as the ass-crack of before dawn to leave my home at 5 AM to get to the airport on time cuz my dad decided to have me travel on memorial day weekend.. i'll bet that airport is gonna be packed T_T
i'll be arriving at like 1:30 PM pacific in Portland, but i dunno if my dad/grandma/whoever i stay with will have wireless internet so i might be LOA completely for a few days... my FA messages are gonna be massive >.> XD
either way, I'll definately have internet sometime monday, but probably won't be active for a few days still as I'll be visiting my gramps in the hospital..

anyway, Since all I'll have is my laptop, which sucks pretty hard...I'm not going to be as active online as i usually am.. probably gonna be reading or just watching lots of netflix...
so yeah...
put in my two weeks yesterday... and on Sat, the 29th I'll be flying out of Little Rock at 8:20 AM to Portland Oregon... gonna be staying with my dad and grams on his side for the weekend, then going to be able to get home on Monday... Hopefully everything will be alright still...
anyway.. I'll see you guys.. bout the only thing I'll still be on is Skype as my iphone has it, and all it needs is a wireless connection...

Grandfather Update...
General | Posted 14 years agofor those of you who care, They discovered why he got sick, and what's wrong with him...
Since it happened before i became active on FA, my grandfather had cancer a while back(like 5+ years) and he's never really been better since... Well yesterday his Immune system all but disappeared and he got really sick.. my grandmother got him to the hospital where he still is...
Turns out he has a really bad case of Pneumonia... and they have no idea how long it will take to get him well enough to go home.. or if he'll even be able to get better...
I'm really worried... I love my grandparents and I would hate to lose him before I get to see him again...
My grams wants me to come home now too, and help take care of him... My mom works full time and my brother could care less
I did decide that I'm at least giving a two weeks notice for my job, so that while i am quitting, I'll at least be leaving on good terms.. My mom is trying to convince me to just drop it and come up there ASAP.. but I would prefer having a "rehirable" when i used them as a reference...
Anyway... I talked to my dad, and as of right now the tentitive date for me to leave is May 28th, about two and a half weeks away... I'll find out tonight when I'll be leaving for sure... then I'll be putting in a two weeks notice, though I'm kinda dreading it, as I hope they don't schedule me for hardly any hours due to me leaving X.x I should be okay, as they really need people but ya never know... I think with the reason I have for moving, it should be alright...

My grandfather is in the hospital, and its not looking good for him...My family isn't sure what's wrong yet, but it seems serious...
my grandparents raised me for half my life... And i love them dearly...
I'm so worried...I've already called my father and he's going to be working on getting me a way up there so i can visit.. I dunno if my grandpa will get better or if i may never see him again...
I'm so glad i can fake emotions... It makes it easier to hide things that i don't want others to see.. to be able to smile even when you are dying inside...
*cries* I just hope he'll be okay...
What makes this even worse is i feel like i jinxed it or something, as i was thinking of using my grandfather as an escuse to leave, and now he really is sick... I'm such a horrible person...

As i lack the skills to determine what is inexpensive AND good, I'd like to see if anyone could help me build up a "wishlist" of sorts on Tiger Direct and/or New Egg(or any other sites you might know off)
that way, I'll be able to figure out what's good but still cheap enough for me to buy it as i go.
So, i'd like someone who has either Yahoo, or preferedly Skype to to please help?
