Small Art Dump + other stuff
Posted a year agoJust posting some of the things I've made over the past few months. Been in a self indulgent mood recently, which is why everything features my sona pretty heavily.
Trying to be more active on Bsky, and everything posted here can be found there. I've been posting there first, and I think I'll continue that trend (some of the things I just uploaded have been there for months!)

On a side note, I'm debating opening up for sketch coms. They may be YCH style, maybe not. My track record for general full commissions is admittedly not great, and I find they've been a major source of burnout for me (this is mostly anxiety on my part, and wanting the art to be the best that it can be for those commissioning it, making me feel overwhelmed). Anyway, I think sketch coms would be much more manageable in terms of quality, turnaround, and life balance.

Busy as always
Posted a year agoBeen trying to draw more, on top of balancing everything else in my life. All in all, things are good. I only check here once in a while, but I'll post things periodically. I've all but abandoned my twitter account (pretty much just lurk there from time to time). Set up a Bluesky that I'll link below.
Commissions burn me out like nothing else, something I've struggled with for years. If I ever open up for them, it'll probably be in the form of YCH.

Little Update
Posted 2 years agoA lot has happened since my last journal entry, mostly good! i got a boyfriend, and have been maintaining a long distance relationship with him since July. At least, that's how it's mostly been. He actually just officially moved in with me a couple weeks ago! With real life taking precedence, i've really done a bad job at keeping in contact with people i know online. Not the first time this has happened, probably won't be the last.
i haven't had much energy for art, mostly because work has left me drained, and putting my creative efforts into other aspects of my life, but i recently started drawing again! i need to finish up some owed art to
Arrogance127 before opening up for new slots. Though, i think i'm just going to stick with sketch coms for the foreseeable future. Lined and colored works burn me out too quick, leading to either me not wanting to work on art, or not finishing a piece in a timely fashion (which is not fair to those that commission me).
That said, i found a pencil brush that i like for sketches, and did a couple hour warm up sketch of the Ordinary Woman from My Hero Acadamia, that i'll be posting here!

Status+Sketch Comms!

I've been busy recently with both life and art stuff. Took a vacation to the coast recently that's filled me with both vigor and inspiration! And while I haven't found the time to work on personal projects, I have been having fun with the projects I've been working on!
That said, once I'm finished with the current queue, I'll be opening up 3 (three) slots for sketches! These will be $15 for a single character, +$10 for a second character (max of two characters per sketch, micros are negotiable). Like always, I'll pick whichever ideas intrigue me the most. If I keep at my current pace, then I should be on track to take these on by this upcoming weekend!
So! Get those ideas ready, if you have an interest, and stay tuned for what's to come!

Status+commissions!
Posted 3 years agoHey all! Been a couple months, but I'm doing well! Busy in all aspects of my life, in a good way. Got one of the two commissions I took on finished up (thanks for the faves, super appreciate it!) and working on the other!
Once that one is done, I'll be opening another one more commission slot, so! If you are interested, get our ideas together, and when I officially open it up, hit me with the details! Of course, I'll let you know when I do open up~
That said, pending payment, I should have the next piece up sometime this week! These pieces have hit me in terms of quality (I want to do the best I can), and have taken longer than I would have liked, but I do hope my enjoyment of creation has shown through! Also thinking on it, I really need to make both a 'commission guide' and a 'TOS' for the future... but that's a future me's problem.

The slots are flat color, max of two characters (micro character additions are negotiable), environment is also negotiable.
Price for lined, flat color, single character, in a simple environment: $35. Additional character $15
No detailed cityscapes, or comic panels at this time. My standard do's and don'ts still apply (scat/watersports, MLP/Pony, underage characters or diaper. Maybe a few others, but these are hard no's.)

Lil' update!

Anyway, the holidays are in full swing. I've been working on art, and am making progress on that YCH (albeit slowly), and I appreciate the patience of those that got the slots! I'm hoping to have it done by the middle of next month! I've also been working on some personal projects, one of which is more seasonal that I'll upload sometime in the next week, the others you'll see once I'm done with that commission.

Posted 4 years agoI got unexpectedly busy within a week of opening up for those sketch comms, but they are all finished now! But, that'll be all until after the holiday season is over, most likely.
I have one commission idea that I agreed to work on once I was finished with this last batch, and a NSFW YCH idea that's been rattling around in my mind for the past week. So stay tuned!

First off, I'm gonna go in batches of three. You'll get a cleaned up sketch w/a black line overlay for $15 USD! This will include simple backgrounds and/or objects as well!
Want one? Here's how!
-Send me a note here on FA with the title "Sketch Com"
-Include the idea you want me to draw, as well as links to references. Text descriptions are fine, but please include as much detail as possible!
-That's it!
This is not first come, first served, but rather what I think will be the most fun to draw. So don't worry if I didn't pick your idea, I might pick it in a future batch! That said, feel free to include multiple ideas in one note (just separate them for clarity)! I'll let you know if I pick yours and if I'm interested in drawing multiple ideas!
And finally, all sketches will have the option to be colored in at a later date (price TBD)!

Posted 4 years agoHey everyone! I'm doing good, got a new job a few months ago which has done wonders for my mental health. Also higher pay, which means I could afford to get a new PC! This also means I've been able to get better functionality out of my tablet. Personally, I've noticed improvement in quality, and I hope you have to! I've been trying to get back to creating more art again, wooo!!
Which brings me to this next part. Now that I've finished that long overdue commission, I'd like to open up a few spots for sketch comms. Not immediately, but I'm thinking by the end of the week! Not sure how much I want to charge yet, however. Probably around $15 USD, depending. Hopefully I'll have an example with more info in the coming days!

I'm doing alright, had a lot of life changes starting just after the holidays, been pretty busy, and living day to day through all this madness!
Now some questions for you, dear reader! I'm primarily a macro/micro artist (at least what I post on here), and I assume that's why you watch me. But what would you like to see? Scenes, concepts, situations? Please note, I am not taking on requests. But I am curious if there are particular things you're hoping to see. Be it characters or subject matter. And while I'm not opposed to it, I don't plan on doing much NSFW material. I also have old art, most by me, but a few commissioned pieces as well. And while they're still up on my old account from years ago, I've contemplated reposting them here. Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter!
I've taken on a couple commissions over the last few months, as I'm sure you've noticed. I usually only do one at a time, depending on complexity and level of detail. Still trying to figure out how to open up slots more officially. Currently working on one that will be a bit of a macro/micro YCH, so stay tuned for that! I just wish I had more time to devote to art. I'm an essential employee (United States), so my day job keeps me pretty busy. My pupper is growing nicely, which means she doesn't need constant supervision (freeing my time up significantly)!
I'm still working on my 'style', figuring out different techniques. Seeing what I like and what I don't. Experimenting with different forms of line work, etc. Same thing with backgrounds and general scenery besides a character focus. It's been fun, but also frustrating at times. I used to be super hard on myself years ago, but I've relaxed a bunch, and it's helped me make creating art an enjoyable experience.

Posted 6 years agoJust a brief update. I'm still working on art, but I have almost no free time now. I got a puppy border collie 2 weeks ago, so I've had almost no time to draw. Pretty much just going to be working on projects as I can that I started before I got the pupper.

Settling in + 50 watcher special!
Posted 6 years agoSo, over the last few weeks I've moved into a temporary place. It's been exhausting as hell, but my S.O. and I are settling in until we can find a more permanent home! The good news is, I've had plenty of time to art! That said, I'm about to hit a relatively small milestone of 50 watchers (thank you all, again!) and I just finished up a flat colored piece to commemorate! However, the catch is I'm not gonna post it until I reach that five-oh!
Anyway, I'll be working on other art in the meantime. Still gotta finish up that vore piece, and I wish to continue with the fantasy-esque story I began. So, hopefully ya'll enjoy them once I crank them out! Some final thoughts, I'm considering doing request raffle of sorts when I do hit 50 watchers, so stay tuned! And lastly, I wanna give a shoutout to
goddessbreanna for being a big (ha) inspiration to me the past week and a half, thanks again for putting up with me bombarding you with WIPs of various projects! But yeah, if you haven't already, check them out if you like big stompy gals and unaware macro-ness!

After spending the last few weeks drawing my character Lyra, I don't want to get burned out, but I want to branch out! I'm also in the process of moving, and I'm surprised at the amount of time I've been able to find to churn out artwork.
