i have my first actual "job" ^_^ i knew this guy for like forever now lol he owns this ATV resort in Virginia.

guess he wants to add a saloon type thing to the complex...so he asked if i would be able to design him a logo for it ^_^ well a txt based one with a graphic lol

he asked me if i could help with the original logo, however that was a long while back, when i first started getting into my design classes, so i was by no means able to help lol.

i hate the one he has, so maybe i can swade him to let me redo that as well if he likes what i'm about to do. ^_^

i have a neat concept in the works (based on a few things he wanted)

well this term is closing in on its end, only 10 more school days left to go. then i get 1 last very easy term (have 2 electives) then a possible internship. heres the thing i have about 1 full term to make a bunch of stuff, quality work, for my portfolio, and i need as much work as i can get my hands on,

weather its request or design work

(will work free or at worst very cheap prices)

i'm a very bad self starter, however am good about doing work when i am working with a purpose, such as an assignment.

the following design software i have learned, followed by how much work i need at it, followed by how familiar i am at it,

1 = not very familiar, but will pick back up easy
5= very familiar, and wont need much time to work in.


Photo Shop - medium to considerable work - (4)

illustrator ( logo and t shirt designs and such) - as much as i can get - (4)

Flash (advertisement, and animations ) - very familiar however don't use often - (3.5)

In-Design (print layout such as magazines) - need a good amount - (2)

Dreamweaver( web site building ) - need a few - (2)

if anything the most imporant ones for me would be , photoshop, illustrator, and in design. because well photoshop is a staple for graphic designing, in design = magazine related jobs, and illustrator is foooo fun and great for any job that requires vector based graphics.

as the title says a happy one for once ^_^

as some ppl i chat with frequently know my daddy (bf) who is a non-fur, is a tad out of reach (long distance atm)

and been that way for about 2years now, 2 quickly wrap that up so i sound sane, it wasn't pose to be as "i havn't seen u in forever" as it currently is. plans were set where as we would see each other often, weather he come up here or i go see him in TN (which i much prefur)

however a couple family deaths, a car crash, hospital stay (for his cancer) and so forth has made that rather impossible.

HOWEVER one thing hasn't change, that is the plan that i will get to be with my daddy after i grad. oh just let me state he not an old man XD he 27, just that's what i call him ^_^. boy gotta do what his daddy says :P

so for the happy part, me daddy ( ^_^ ) will most likely be able to come up this up coming week, probably left costa rica early (work related) and yea i'm super stoke about it. --wags tail--

we'll get to talk, kiss, discuse his trip, cuddle, go over some of the stuff i learned, very cuddle, actually tell him in person i love him, go over more furry stuff, oh yea almost forgot SEX!!!!! :P (ok was one of the first things i thought)

and he's love bout 100lbs since the start of the year. (taken off his meds that cause his weight gain, and strictly dieted under doc orders, in case they needed to cut out the bad kidney) but he still a big ol cuddly bear ^_^ just the way i like em :P

i need to get back in the gym starting later XD

well for those who have never been the military or had a crazy wresting coach(crazy as in work your ass hardcore) who was a paramedic in the military, grunt candy is military slang for ibuprofen, seeing how when u really push yer self your gonna ache bad, and so your gonna gobble em up like candy, hence grunt candy. that and a big ass jar of the stuff never lasted more then a few days XD.

ANYHOW...

its that time of year and i ALWAYS get these killer sinus migraines and restless leg crap when getting sick. usually i just pop in some of that sweet grunt candy every 4+ hours (of course if i don't feel anything i don't take any and ride off the last dosage ) however...Their all gone >.< and i'm to broke to get anymore. now i know Tylenol is ok, however i was wondering if you fella have any good ideas on what i could do to alleviate this, at least for a few more days. besides sleeping, i'm up to my knees in work XD

just kinda hard to use the right side of my brain when i can hear drums in my head, and no its not the band "Symphony X" playing in my head set lol.

i need to make a website, so i could post my work in a more personal setting, that only a .com can bring.

i don't exactly need help making it so thats not what this is about.

the hope would be that someone sees it, needs a job done and wala i have a customer. this would really handy considering i plan on continuing schooling while living with my mate ^_^, and be able to do some kind of work without having to put myself in a very stressful situation.

which will allow me to add more to my portfolio then school stuff, i am a bit better then my work shows, however am a lame self starter XD

whats your guys opinion on this?

well a certain bear by the name Theo ( aka "TeddyOso" on here) pointed out FA appears to be my art dump haha. like i swear i can find my stuff much better here then on my comp ^_^

and of course as u may have seen i cover a wide range of mediums, by far not the best at any of them, but i cover a lot.

now with that said its hard for me to start a project on my own --is a horrible self starter-- with that said if anyone has any idea of things i could maybe do in the varies mediums for practice, hell maybe even a free request, let me know i'll be happy to give it a shot ^_^

ummm not that it matters to many ppl, but guess i'm done drawing for a good while, well with decent equipment.

got jumped and mugged today by a couple of "African Americans" on my way back from hanging out with kogie, which was fantastic btw.

punks tried to jack me for my psp, threatening to shoot me with a pistol behind my back, it turned out to be a air soft gun, but thats beside the point.

good thing, the psp never left my grip, even after i was blinded by my hoodie and bag. i didn't go down lol

bad thing, they stole my bag which had my supplies, my camera, a couple of important usb drives, and my collar T_T

and my glasses are missing, so i have very poor vision.

figures as soon as i drop my guard, and enjoy a feeling that has been absent for a long time, something like this happens.

why do i deal with ppl again?

anyhow, so yea no supplies,and still unemployed so T_T and i loved that collar. none of the other stuff was was worth shit to me compared to that. plus it costed like 70$

--sigh and feels sad--

i could have taken them if they didn't sneak attack me :(
