Just been watchin the "Sydney 2010 Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras parade" on foxtel and somethin came to me, THERE IS NO FURRIES!!! so i thought i'd put something out there to start something for 1 of the Mardi Gras parades. I"ve seen everything from the surf life savers to the fire fighters to the law enforcement even, pretty much everyone and everything but us furries so come on mah fellow furries, tell me wot u all think.
i mite run it, i mite not but who knows wot the future holds
i stand corrected, we have like 10 seconds of fame with not much said about us

General | Posted 16 years agoi am hoping to save up enough money for a 3 week (maybe 4 weeks) holiday in london towards the end of 2011 that will hopefully include RBW 2011.
but first i need mah fursuit which shouldnt take me long to save up for (maybe 3 months).
when i get it i will upload some pics of him and keep you all posted

i am unable to get a loan for my holiday so i will have to pospone it untill next year or when i can save up enough money

General | Posted 16 years agoyay, i got my annual leave approved now i just got to put my loan form in to the bank, get that approved and i should be all set to start booking things.
any londonfurs reading this i would like to organize some fursuit outings, any suggestions are welcome and i will fit them in...

General | Posted 16 years agoi am planning a 3 week holiday for august 2010 and i am stuck for a place to stay. i have allowed my self AU$15,000 (if i get the loan). thats AU$3000 for my fursuit, AU$3000 for a place to stay, AU$3000 for a plane ticket and AU$6000 spending money...
does anyone know of any cheap hotels or wot not in the "City Of London" area. if so please, for the luv of god please comment here or send me a pm or e-mail
if everything goes to plan, i would like to arrange a few fursuit outings during my stay.
any suggestions are welcome
i so want to be in london rite now, fuck this 60deg+ heat

THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.
STEP ONE
** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.
** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!
STEP TWO
** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
