I do NOT like woke People. I have foudn that many people, that call themselves woke are intolerant, bigot and really harmful. They mess around in your life, stalk people you are in contact with and really should mind their own fucking business.
But they do it because they are woke - they are "aware" of things "being wrong" ... no , you are NOT. You are not doing this to debate problems. YOu are not doing this to change people's mind. You are just doing it for you see yourself as a "good, woke" person. You are sooo perfect and good. And everyone should praise you for that. Not for trying to change something. You just cancel. YOu do NOT try to convince the other or - gasp - try to find out if you may be wrong and the other one maybe is not like you think he is like.

I know FA has decided to take actions because of the capitol thing and I have to say a few things on this.
1) Fa has the right to do so, it is their TOS.
2) I still think , on my very humble subjective level, they should not do that. Why?
a) it just makes supporters of this act feel like others are "fearing the truth"
b) it could make them become more radical and the chance for debate, as little as it may be, is fully gone afterwards.
c) for me they most important: We are not able to see WHO is supporting this kind of attack on freedom)
d) I want to abe able to see their reaction to get a full bitch slap of freedom of speech as they themselfes say they are so much for it. If they want freedom of speech, they shall have it ;) May just not be to their liking.

As you all know, my laptop still is broken, but I need money to fix it. So I think about the following: I may take in 3 or so color commission from now on every month. Only pics, no comics. I have a chance to color some stuff over at a friends comp but only all two weeks so commis would be a bit slower and as said , restricted to full page single pic only.

I know this journal may sound strange and no, I am not going mad. I just thought this over and wonder if there is something to this idea.

Since the lockdowns nearly worldwide are on and off reports showing that in Venice the water in the lagoon is clear, population of many wild life animals are growing back to stable numbers, the air is better. Even the summer in germany was not as crazy as the years before. It kinda feels like nature is claiming back some space and also showing it can heal much faster than we thought.
I had this idea in my mind, a silly idea I think but a vague feeling tells me there coudl be something to it: Could it be that Covid 19 is a way of the nature to tell us to fucking slow down and be a bit more reasonable with recources? I sound crazy here , I know. And most of my rational side says this is just normal: mankind is being forced to stay home and for sure nature taking vantage of it . Yet. There is this feeling that nature has, in some way or another planned this to stop us from being assholes.

I canot really say how I feel about this idea.

For me, as a German, it is strange that even 8 days after election day, the votes are stil being count. In germny ballots close by 6 pm. by 8 pm there is a first result. and the next morning we know who won. but okay.

Here is what I have to say, and sorry pals, this is my way of seeing things. Life has taught me these lessons.
First. Yes, I am glad Trump has been voted out. But not because he is a dictator (he is not, if you still believe he is, then you have no idea what a dictatorship is like and you really should ask a person in china or North Korea ;) ), no. I am glad he is gone since he was loud, provoking and after his first months in office he because the president I cared for the least of all. I just did not care anymore.

Well, Biden has won. And though I am glad Trump is gone. Sorry, sweetheart, but I will not horray like many of you. Here is why : First, I do not trust politicians that are seen like a new messiah. Last time we had this, was Obama, and he really knew how to walk Russians ass and sending new nukes into my homecountry (thank you once again, Barak... :/ )
Second reason is: It is kidna stupid or at least naive to cheer for someone who, right now, is not even in office. Yes, he has been the vice pres, but right now we do NOT know what will come.
Third: (most important point) I hope he will try to figure out why 70 million american voted for a rich, loud guy, saying he cares for poor people or the underpaid while he himself is a billionaire. Because, after all Biden is the president of ALL americans. Not only for those who voted for him. There is something going wrong in the US. and I do not blame white or hispanics or blacks or so. No, something is off in the system at all. Man people seem to feel forgotten, messed with.
Until a pres comes around that really wants to mind that Problem, which is the really biggest problem the US has, things will go on and on.

Considering this in the pandemic, where people claim to rather let the weak die than wearing a mask and keep distance for a while... I want this society to be defunded.

Maybe I should not write this at all, being German and not American. Yet, the votes in the US , like most other votes in the world also affect every other country on the planet and so also Germany.

I had discussions with americans about this and must say ... I am happy I am not living in the US. I would be dead right now.

However. that enough on personal stuff. the reason I am writing this is just this one: However the vote ends. If it is Biden or Trup. Hell, fucking accept it. Do not start this : the votes have been manipulated again. I already know many will do it, just because the guy won they do not want to be voted. Just.. Don't . This toxic atmosphere is going to be worse and worse.
Whoever wins. Just .. let us hope it was a good choice.
If it is Biden. Let us hope he is not all full communist bust just brings a bit more social democracy to the US.
If it is Trump. Just let us hope he really spends his seconds perid trying to fix the deep crack going between his haters and supporters.
I just don't want to see riots starting after the votes. If there are riots after the votes, we can right away kick off democracy. You cannot expect the one to win just because you want him to win. You just can hope, the right one won. Whatever that means.

I am not against cancel culture because I am suddenly turned right wing or so. I am against cancel culture for several reason.

The first one is: Cancel Culture is often operated by those that are NOT in fact involved in the "problem" they want to solve. The decide FOR those affected in any way with the thing that "needs to be changed". So they act like a guardian. this is NOT okay!

the second one is: Often they are enraged about something that was mostly almost forgotten or "normal" in a way that it did not affect those anymore that are now suddenly affected again. Many had NO clue uncle ben's was once to portray rice picking black people. No one I know knew this. everyone thought he was Ben Soandso, founder of the rice factory and they called him uncle in a friendly manner. this is the case with so many things. But suddenly the people are again aware about a lot of new negative meaning because those in Cancel culture movement bring that up again. why?

Third: Also many in CC do not know exactly what those things mean they are angry about. instead of learning the whole meaning they concentrate on the negative aspect, rather than to remind society what the real meaning is.

Four (and most important) Cancel culture will NOT change the problem. Not at all. if you believe because you ban certain words the evil spirit behind it will also be gone to ... than you are naive. dumb and naive and dangerouse. You have to change things by proofing that the message is wrong a word brings about, not the word. If you cancel the word nigger, racists will find another word. YOu may feel better about it, but the racist will not even fucking care. You should change the mind of the racist. Not the word.

Cancel culture is a sad attempt to show "who are the good caring people" , and I will distrust anyone who is a part of it until he proofs to me he cares for more than only remove words or movies or etc.

There is a big problem around with cancel culture. They see often something as hurtful and racist while even more people have NEVER seen them as racist and also never have done anything terrible because of it.
You may change the words,, yes. but most people will just think: Well.. okay.. and is the racist problem solved now?

BtW: I am urgently looking for someone being able to sing and willing to be a background singer or maybe even, be the lead vocalist. I am tired of having to record myself 4 or 5 times and in the end it sounds like the guys singing all having the same voice XD

... I have noticed, over the passing years that something is going on in the fandom, that I do not like. Several artist I have followed for their Original characters and their originality have become scribes of copyrighted character and sexualize them. Stopped doing their own things. The reason is, that all the people seem to cherish drawings of sexualized Cyrstal from Sonic or Pikachu from Pokemon more than the long process of coming up with your own ideas, your own world, something that is YOURS. I find this trend very sad. Mostly because I knwo artists that just get attention for ripping of copyrighted characters. Yes, many artist get thousands of dollors for breaking the copyright law every month while they are more than good enough to come up with their own stuff. This is not a speech against fan art , I do it myself, yes. But this is a speech to cherish creativity and not let the fandom become a community known for breaking copyright law and lacking any kind of creativity but putting dicks and giant boobs onto cartoon and game characters.

Maybe this is why I often do not feel well in the fandom anymore.
