Also I'm sorry if the prices seem high, but in concerns to amount of time a piece would typically take that is the middle ground price I could best settle on to be both fair to me and the customer. I’m not putting commissions out to make a fortune or have price battles with other artists. An important note on the extra printing options, right now it’ll have it be a waiting list, the reasons are as follows.

I can’t make Buttons until I get a new button maker, as the one I used before moved to BC. The good ones can get pretty pricy so depending on how well commissions go it may take me a while to save up. You can certainly go on the waiting list for buttons.

As for the other printing options it may be a little bit of a wait (not as long as the buttons though) I haven’t restocked since I made prints for the summer anime conventions. I may also need to invest in a new printer, hopefully with some help from commissions (if anyone orders any) I can reach that goal faster.


Speaking of Anime Conventions there’s two in my Provence that I always make prints for to sell at, and this year I have a lot of left over prints (pins, bookmarks, key chains, cell phone charms, stickers and notebooks) that I need to get rid of. Usually I just keep them for next year but mom’s been planning a big move to Ontario, which would consist of only 1 truckload of everything we own. Clearly I need to get rid of my prints before we go.

February is well on it's way, and hate the holiday or not with it comes valentines day. So I thought I would hold a contest of some sort for fun. This is more for the novel followers (simply because there are a lot more characters to choose from) but followers of the comic are welcome to join as well.

The theme of the contest is to find out everyone's favorite Raven Wolf couples, be they cannon or head cannon. It doesn't matter if they are an actual couple in the story, or even the orientation, m/f m/m and f/f are all allowed. Throw out whatever two you think would be just great together and at the beginning of February I will announce several of the most popular or my favorite suggestions. Then through a vote the most popular of the chosen couple will get an extra chapter dedicated to developing/dabbling/exploring the relationship between those two characters (nothing dirty mind you), which will be released on Valentines Day =)

As for comic pages, well, that's a lovey combination of before mentioned computer virus, me being sick in bed, and the comic page have a rather detailed image to it that is taking a long time to complete, so sorry about that, but it's is indeed on it's way.

So my computer got one of them annoying viruses that try to play off as a windows security program and harass you to not only download malware but try to get you to pay for it too. I've been working on getting rid of it since I woke up this morning but it's taking a while.

In regards to that it doesn't look like I'll be having the time to finish up my comic page for today. I was thinking of maybe releasing another novel chapter instead so I don't have to worry about feeling like I didn't accomplish anything today and feel the need to rush the fixing my computer process as so I can get back to work.

Luckily I have my laptop to let me go online and keep me occupied while I wait for my computer to finish up, I even have all of my writing on here so I can work on that instead of drawing if I so desire. I just wish I knew how long how long it's going to take to fix my computer.

Until that happens I was debating if maybe I should hold some sort of a Q&A session for Raven Wolf to help pass the time/get my mind on other things. Would anyone be interested in that? And if I did do that what do you think the best way to go about it would be?

Well, we're finally into the new year and I've got two topics to bring up today that I have been getting asked about a lot =)

First off, a fursona, lots furs keep asking me what my fursona is. At this point I actually don't have one u.u and I was debating on if I should change this or not. My problem is that I would most associate myself as a wolf, as that is what my spirit totem is and it's actually pretty meaningful to me.

-- For those wondering years back I was going through a rough time in life, lots of complicated stuff was happening, but most of all I hated my family and everything to do with them, and just wanted to get away from them. Then a wolf started showing up in every dream and nightmare I was having, it was like time would stop (in the dream) I thought this creature was what was giving me bad dreams, but another friend of mind suggested in all seriousness that it may be a spirit totem wanting to show me a message that I needed to understand. That wolf represented the importance of family. Indeed at the time I was having a lot of issues with my family, and if a 'spirit messenger' was indeed telling me that I needed to treasure them and see them as important instead of loathing and despising them, then perhaps it was best for me to mend my relationships with them, so I did, and they shortly became the most important thing in the world to me, and my reasons so hating them so much just seemed so small been though they were huge in the past. It wasn't long after that I was diagnosed with a chronic illness that would leave me crippled and in my families care. Who knows what would have happened to me if I had still hated my family and refused to talk to or let them come near me--

So yeah, wolf plays an important part in my life, the problem is I draw SO MANY of them in the Raven Wolf comic >< that I don't know if I want to create another one. Thing is I don't know what else I would be. Should I try to come up with something else as to keep from the redundancy of drawing even more wolves, and if I do what would that be? Or should I keep true with wolf? Or should I just stick to having no fursona at all? I've been going over it for a while now but have yet to make a decision.


Next topic I get asked a lot about is commissions, this is another thing I get asked a lot about. I was thinking I may start some up. My mom is heavily is debt and having trouble making ends meet, and I would like to help her out, so I may be throwing in some commission slots for when I have the time. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of extra time with all the projects that I'm currently working on, and it may mean that my comic pages will be released slower (though I will try my best to prevent that)

If I did they would be non-pornographic, as well as sex sells I don't think I could draw it (You'd think I was 8 years old or something with the way I avoid drawing that), nudity would be find as long as it's not sexually suggestive. What do you guys think? Should I start working on commissions?

So I finally got a laptop =) I’ve been needing to get one for a few years now because some days (actually, more days than I would like to admit) my heath makes is so that I’m stuck in bed (or laying on the sofa if someone is home to talk to) for a long portion of if not the whole day, which leaves me very bored with nothing to do, as even in the living room where I have my videogames to play I just can’t focus on them if my mind is set on “omg I wanna write this scene” or “omg I really want to draw!!”

For now I can really only use the laptop for writing, which is still a big step up from being able to do nothing. Drawing is going to have to wait until I can afford to buy a tablet, and that will probably take a while, as extra money is somewhat hard to come by when your health will not allow you to work a job =/ but hey, writing my stories is still good enough for now =)

I am though going to have to get used to this keyboard… (took me about 10 attempts to sign into my facebook because I kept getting my password wrong from trying to use this new keyboard. Thank goodness I have spell check to keep me looking like a complete idiot.

So got a power outage and it completely corrupted the comic page I had been working on. Meaning I have to start over again from scratch (minus of course what was done by hand). Much hate going out to the faulty power grid my neighborhood is connected to). I was pretty close to being finished it too >< just had the background shading to go =(

I'm probably not going to be able to start working again until this stops, as right now my power keeps constantly shutting on and off, killing my lights and computer. Soooo yeah... not sure how long it will take for the city to take a look at that grid and fix it... hopefully by tomorrow the issue will be resolved, for now I think I'll just go to bed early or something... since anything I attempt to work on will most likely get destroyed by these constant flickers of power outages.

If it's not fixed by the time I wake up tomorrow... well then... I'm going to be bored...

So yeah, I had the weirdest.dream.ever.

Okay not really EVER... as they can get pretty messed up, but weirdest dream I've had in a while anyway... and kind funny once I woke up and it sunk in, anyway.

I honestly don't remember much of it, I know it started out as me killing zombies, and all this world Apocalypse stuff and there were explosions and blood and carnage, and then Silver the Hedgehog came out of nowhere, and the dream changed to this.

Silver: Sonic has a sidekick, I want one too! So you're my new sidekick!! Oh my gosh we are going to be the best friiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeends.

Me: ...no... no I am not...

Silver: Lets go on a super adventure.

Me: I SAID NO!!

*commence really stupid 'super adventure' as a side kick when I COULD HAVE BEEN FIGHTING ZOMBIES!!!*

Silver: This is fun side kick.

Me: MY NAME IS NOT SIDE KICK!!

Silver: Look a boss!! Lets kill it!

Me: Ok fine... I'm all up for killing something, at least this stupid 'super adventure' wouldn't have been a total bust

*Sonic destroys the boss in one hit*

Me: .... DID SONIC JUST FKING *KS ME!?!?!? (*kill steal)

Silver: Wow Sonic is so cool!!

Me: OMG!!!! WTF SONIC!!!

Silver: Come on side kick, lets continue the super adventure.

If I wasn't already doing a whole bunch of work, I would be tempted to draw up a short gag comic of this.

Also to clear up any misconception, I don't REALLY hate Silver, I think he's kinda adorable for a StH character.

Fixed my chapter submissions for the my Raven Wolf novels I've uploaded, now you can read them on the website without having to download anything ^^ It took longer than I thought that it would, thankfully though most of the chapters didn't require much formatting at all.

Sorry for the batches of chapters, I've been in a hurry to upload them for two reasons, one because I'm trying to get FA caught up to the chapters I'm working on right now, and two because I want to start uploading the comic pages up here, as I am working on a comic version of this story as well, though it goes sooooo much slower than the novel does (still on chapter 01)

In concerns to the novel I have up to three books done and I'm currently working on the forth, I know it's pretty far for a series that had never been commented on or reviewed but what can I say? I really enjoyed and I am continuing to enjoy working on it. Of course I hope that everyone will enjoy reading it as much as I liked writing it but comments, favs and hits aren't my driving factor, though it IS great the few times I do get them ^_^

Someday I'll add more than just chapters and image sketches to this site <.< as soon as the novel is caught up anyway.

Was working on a comic panel for page 18 of the Raven Wolf comic and ran into a rather horrid sketch...

Usually my sketches are pretty clean and easy to work with, sometimes though they can get a little iffy and I'll correct the mistakes while drawing over it for the inking… but this one… oh this one… was just one of my most horrible ones I had to work with thus far... they had dots for eyes, were disproportionate and apparently I was like “F**K hands!!! I’m not drawing them!” or something cause those completely sucked too… oh yeah, and Eve’s boobs kinda looked like they could poke someone’s eye out. It’s actually embarrassing for me to look at. Yet kinda neat when you look at the before and after versions side by side.

yeah… it took some work to make this one pretty… like more so that any other sketch so far (not including the ones damaged by pets or coffee)

The morel of this story, not every art is gonna start out a masterpiece, instead of throwing it away and deeming it or yourself a failure just keep trying until you get it right... unless of course you are sick of the picture and want nothing more to do with it <.<
