In other news! I just need to fur the goat hooves and then it should be complete, I'm just waiting on some extra black coming for that. I'm hoping to ship that out on Monday at the earliest!
The fur should of been coming in a day or so but the supplier was out of stock of one fur I particularly needed (yet was instock when I ordered >.>)so I had to order elsewhere!

I'm hoping to get some of houndoom's booty sculpted this week too but I also need to order more hotglue o.o I'm on the hunt for somewhere where I can buy it in bulk at a reasonable price so next week might be some bodysuit sewing!

Makes me wish I lived in america! supplies just seem to be on hand so easy! 9.999 times out of 10 I have to order online o.o I miss fresh air sometimes too! I think I am becoming a hermit... Not properly left the house for about a month now o.O just realizing this!

ANYWAY! In my 'bedtime' hours I am doing a bit of sculpting too! Making a Kemono/Japanese fox base mold, once I have a bit more of it done I'll upload it here! Got WIP shots on my twitter and facebook!

Is anyone else having issues seeing things submitted within the last half hour or so?

I'm having to click 'download' just to see images :/ my internet is running fine and site checkers are coming back clean. I started having loading issues of old submissions about an hour or so too if that helps any!
My phone is also having issues with pretty much all FA images too.


If anyone can shed light that would be fantastic!

CHANGES TO PLANS

The plans from my previous journal are going to be pushed back about 3 weeks (I want to say 2 weeks but I don't want to run myself ragged and get ill again).
The reason for this is due to one of my commissioners dropping out (I won't say reasons as I know them IRL). This leaves me with having parts that have no home to go to of a fursona that is not mine and a refund to provide pretty much immediately!

My only course of action is to re-fur-bish the parts I already have and sell them.

Over the course of this re-fur-banishment I am going to try and fully document it for educational purposes. I will have to remove the fur completely, eyes too! The internals are sound, I tried to remove the jawset today and honestly it was impossible! I don't know what I fixed it down with but I did a damn good job of it haha

I'm hoping to bulldoze through it and get started tomorrow. I need to gut my workroom out tomorrow before I start, I'm arming myself with the hoover for potential spiders.. they are big this time of year and I am terrified of them >.>
I do have a design prepared for the refurb! It will be posted within the hour. I spent most of today on emails (I've been doing them since Monday, emails always seem to take forever o.o), scouring the existing art I have made for inspiration on re-fur-bing this and found one which I believe is suitable. It will be posted after this journal so look out for it!

HOUNDOOM
I'm hoping to have some more Houndoom up with in the next couple of weeks, I want to get all the foaming and mechanics done by the end of next month! And then its onto the save for the fur. I really did price wrong when I last opened! Things are turning out faaaar more expensive. I suppose that is not surprising seeing as I didn't know better back then haha
I originally planned to go to I'm Stuffed furs for they seal furs but unfortunately they no longer ship internationally o.o This is the pain of pretty much EVERY UK maker >.> I'm still looking for alternatives (don't say Mendels seals, I got samples and I wont touch any of them with a barge-pole) but I may have to resort to shaving an entire suit of DF.... If it comes to it, its what I will do but still looking for the right doberman colours!

GOLDEN WOLF
I'm hoping to get the Golden Wolf bodysuit (Vyper) fully sewn by the end of September too. Because the original suit owner was so small I'm thinking of just making the feet to the buyers size. The shoes I bought (and still have, they are foamed and ready for fur) are a UK 4 so VERY small.

UPCOMING PARTIALS
This month coming I am hoping to put out two partials. I'm testing myself speed wise while keeping up the quality I have come to expect from myself. I've got a few new techniques and finishes as well. As standard they will both be moving jaws and follow me eyes.
I wont say specifically what chosen two are coming up however it will be one feline and one canine~

FUTURE CONS
I'm planning to go to Confuzzled 2016 and Kitacon 2016 to run stalls. I don't have the chance for Auchinawa since they have disbanded (the one con I consistently went to!). I did want to go to one of the up coming EXPOs near me but its definately not feasible! (looking at roughly £1000+ to go for the weekend with all expenses so that is a NOPE) maybe another year when I am settled.
I've done stalls in the past and they are a fantastic way to shift stock and pull up savings too. I'm hoping that I will have finished all my outstanding commissions by then. I'm planning to have tails, paws, two pre-made partials, original prints, a couple DIY fursuit kits, some Weeb stuff (like cat ears and hats) and some Lolita stuff (dress or two, skirts and accessories all hand made). If you are looking to get parts from me at a ridiculously low price then CF and Kita are the places to look for me!

My brother just told me Scotland is the same temperature as Florida today! Honestly it is soooo hot! I'm in shorts and a vest, for those who know how much I usually wear... this is essentially me naked o.o
Bro was so kind and brought up a fan and cold drink for me! I was just about to leave the workshop till evening because it was so hot!
How do Americans deal with this heat?! Its cooled from earlier but its still 26 degrees! (79F).

Mom and Step-papaa decided I need a break out of the workroom. I feel like I haven't stopped this week since being fired!

I have to say.... IT WAS BLOODY FANTASTIC!

I won't spoil it for others (I had a media blackout concerning it) but it is definately one to go and see! There is one part that if you are from the UK that will get you in hysterics! That is all I will say lol!

All in all it was nice to get out the house! Not left since... last Monday o.o and that was only for work!

Its beautiful! The trippy generator has gone! yay!!!

These last 34 hours have taught me just how dependent on electricity we have become.... I know I would be the first to die in a zombie apocalypse!

I a considering offering one of the golden wolves up for auction on FA and am curious to know if there was any interest at all in one? I know for some folks there is difficulty in getting a furbuy account and I have had a few express an interest in this style of auction before.

I know I have a lot time-lapses and while I quite like to think they are suitable as a walk-through as such, I understand video quality is lacking. I am always open to questions if folks want construction advice too.

TL;DR VERSION BELOW

Currently I am coming to the end of my college term so handing in assessments has kept me busy! I reckon I have another two weeks or so to go as well.

Suit Making
In light of the results from my last 3 auctions I have been forced to come to the decision to take on a paid job.

Unfortunately the amount of times I've been left hanging at the end of auctions means I have no choice. I can't pay my own bills and have fallen behind so there is no alternative. Falling behind on bills means falling behind on suit progress as well. Can't pay bills so in turn what I am making is having very little impact.

The job itself is bar work. I complete a trial today and they have offered me some more shifts so I have taken it on. I'm glad my mother has been so accommodating in housing me through this too! If its one thing I did right it was moving back home.

Naturally this means the time I can put into suit making will be less. Thankfully with summer coming up and college finishing it means at least I can continue making suits.

Due to the current results of my auctions so far I am also going to be changing how I do them and how long of payment plans I will accept. Current plans will not be affected. I will release more information with the next auction.



College
As above, my college year is coming to an end. I have 3 assessments left to hand in/get graded so not long now! I have made the decision to return to college after the summer so I will be able to step up my construction skills. At my interview they were very happy to accept me into a course 2 levels above the one I was on. It makes me think I should possibly try for the RCS in Glasgow but at the end of the day it means I can take dress making skills, and higher quality finishes onto my suits.

I want to keep evolving my ability and continue increasing my quality. The course I am on has already helped me, even making and researching garments in my spare time.



The situation is still the same I am afraid. My laptop is virtually gubbed! One thing I will definately be doing is getting a replacement LED screen. In order to see the screen at the moment I have a USB drive jammed between the screen and the hinge gap. Definitely this is needed. at least then I might be able to stream.

My step-dad has been amazing and has now wired up my workroom to mains power! So now no extension cords up to the loft! One thing I do need to work on is finishing the workroom setup


Physiotherapy
For the past month or so I have been going, I reckon I still have a good while to go. Its nice for my pain levels to be reducing! The lady thinks its something to do with my upper back/neck. One of the recommendations had been for me to change the working heights in my workroom. Currently its set up very low and let me tell you I can feel it! So changes are being made slowly there!

All I know so far is as stupid as this sound, the lady knows her stuff and what she is doing and recommending has worked! I admit I was skeptical going but my pain is going down. Don't get me wrong it hurts badly just now, working for the first time in 6 months will do that though!

Suits - I'm taking on a job because I can't cover bills and build suits with no/little money. Auction payment plans are changing TBA, current plans are not affected.

College - Continuing college because its benefiting my suit making skills.

Live Streaming - I need to get a replacement laptop screen, live-streaming can then continue.

Physiotherapy - Physio is going well and working. Workshop changes will be happening.

Tuesday I'm planning on foam carving for the dobermans body. Once thats done I'll be bodysuit sewing for vyper. That's the plan o.o

Felling much better now! I am so thankful I didn't get as sick as last time x.x

I've also managed to finally to get an appointment with a physiotherapist! 8 years of constant pain in my right are and I am finally able to get it seen to! It started as repetitive strain in my right arm, I have no clue how bad it is as the doctor upped and refereed me to physio after my exam. Either way I have constant pain in all joints of my right arm v.v
My appointment is on Wednesday so wish me luck haha

As says the title! I have a case of manflu that has been building slowly. Unfortunately I can't touch any of my materials right now. I recon a week or so and I wont feel like I took a flock of bludgers to my face and body.

I certainly hope this isn't as bad as my last flu. Last time I had it I had to work with a fever, hallucinations, feeling like I was run over for a month and loosing my voice for a week.

As it is just now I cant risk touching any of my materials, certainly not any that go near a customers face. Call me paranoid and even a germaphobe but I can't. Hell I can't even touch door handles in public x.x

I recon a week or so and this will pass. I have managed to once again temporally fix my laptop. I guess in the mean time will I am in bed I will do some digital art. Any requests?

I figured I would let everyone know as I have been quiet this month so far from a period of heavy activity. I'm not missing, just sick!

As you all know I have been having issues with my laptop screen.. well this now extends to my phone o.o somehow I managed to drop it out my pocket and obliterate the screen LCD!

Anyone else seem to have these issues? Maybe I should just give up on technology!

Well! I was going to stream yesterday however I fell asleep! I am not sure a stream will happen today as I am just back from the dentist! I actually forgot I had it v.v
I am in stage 1 of root canal v.v and if I am honest I feel too gritty for webcam! That and half my face is swollen again v.v

I'll be posting stuff up and crafting regardless! Got a few updates coming soon after this journal!

My root treatment concludes on Friday so I am unsure I will be streaming then either! It's at 9.15am so I might possibly sleep till the anesthetic wears off!

Doing a bunch of stuff! First is drawing my ideas for the next 9 premades as I have been asked about that!

Then I will be having a little play with the EVA foam again, I guess I'll try making a fursuit head base! I'm not sure if I could make one! But it will give me a little better experience forming the foam (carved foam is like super easy compared to this for me haha). I really want to replace houndooms muzzle with EVA. Originally I though subtle curves were not possible without heat manipulation! (Considering my burn record on this head so far I ain going there!).
