I had a dream about her last night. She is a character I am beginning to develop to identify myself. Kurauno is the face of my work but Tara is me.

In my dream she was presented as a hybrid between a canine and feline. Originally she was a snow leopard with funky colours and not a single spot lol
In the dream her fore quarters were feline while the hind quarters were canine (think husky, they still have the feline bulk on the hind). Altogether she is looking very much like the shape of a bobcat/lynx with a husky tail and the fluffiness of a snow leopard/lion on front. She doesn't have the ear tufts or the long cheek fur, more like dog ears!

Normally I would not have a personal journal such as this but as it could well disrupt suit work (much like lapuchan's illness) I am letting you all know!!

The main topic is my place of residence. Currently I rent from my father - yes rent :/ no digs.. I pay EVERYTHING and I am the only one in the property most of the time!). Because of the 'mess' I create and don't maintain a showroom of a house staying here is turbulent at best.

I HAVE found another place to stay!!

But that brings the task of moving into hand x.x which is a whole other pain but I can manage that with a little help from other relatives and friends :3

Now begs the question of when?

Well I am on a placement at a hotel at the moment, learning the ins and outs of that, very challenging but I like it! Its helping me get my confidence up too (out of suits i am ridiculously timid and some other shy shiz, not confident etc, you get the picture! Aside from the fact I broke the phone.... everything is is good! and if I get a job out of it I will be moving out about Feb/March.

That's the plan! of coarse if things get really bad (which considering my dad.... is very likely...) it may be sooner! x.x

The best thing is I can take the cat with me! which means I will be able to keep her healthy (I really don't trust my dad at all with her x.x he fed her on dog food for a year D; not suitable at all!)

So that is the situation.


Stream will be announced later today! Just need to set up and do some preparations first! And eat....

Good news! I have the money to fix Lapuchan so it looks like my stream goal might just be on! He will be going under the knife on Monday hopefully!!

Bad news... just back from A&E.... I cut my leg open while working x.x about 2 inches by 5-10 mm deep, erm... had to get stitches D;

I had a lot of work planned for today but it has already been set back V.V

Started the day at 5AM rearing to go! but... 7.10AM.... slashed myself and panicked.. managed to get myself botched together for the adventure to the hospital only to find out it was shut!! Ended up having to call my dad and get a lift to the A&E in the next town. Only 3 stitches but geeze the blood! It was still bleeding when I got to A&E 4hrs later! (bleeding still but only when I move and its 7hrs later x.x).
After getting patched up by a pro we went and got breakfast at Morisons which was needed lol
I got yelled at by my dad for attempting to make my own way there (and for not going to get a check up yesterday when I had a small car accident and hit my head >.> he made me tell the nurse) and for not calling him or an ambulance. Honestly I thought an ambulance was a bit excessive as I was not bleeding out and fainting (but he still yelled at me lol).

Sooo! Story of my life this week!! Lol I am a clumsy pup :3 but I have had amazing luck and 2 accidents this past week so it all balances out :3

This IS depressing x.x After assessing my situation, all fees bills and such that are to come off this and next week it looks very much like Lapuchan will not be visiting until the beginning of December x.x

With that in mind I have set a target date of December 4th for the stream. It is possible

On a good note.... it looks like Mendel's fur order might arrive today :3 which means :DDD I'll be able to whip shiz up to generate funds for Operation 'Deliver-Lapuchan-to-Nurse-Joy' and get Kyu closer to being shipped! (waiting on crucial parts before I can fur that x.x eye lacquer is drying too)

Vyper's Gloves need their paw pads glued on. I'm doing a test of the glue today, I am using E6000 - never used before but I have heard good things about it. Feet paws are being furred today :3 the toes are so cute!!

The most annoying thing is my inability to get photo's from my phone onto here... I need to use Zune software but because the laptop I am on atm is not mine (and on its last legs too.... seriously funky spazzing upon start-up!!) I can't install any software x.x darn windows phone! CLOUD! I can use that o.o I hope?!

Solution.... maybe?!

It is with great sadness I impart this information v.v but my laptop 'lapuchan' has died >.>

My attempts to flee from a wingless daddy/jenny long legs resulted in my poor comrade being slaughtered v.v

I request a seconds silence for our fallen hero v.v She will be visiting the doctors tomorrow to see what the best course of action will be, surgery or if I should prepare the burial mound v.v

Currently this is being typed from "lapusan' Lapuchan's father... he frankly is on his last legs too so I am a bit stumped! There may have to be a Lapuchan2.0 .... in which case I will be VERY sad v.v

The ultimate result of this means that the stream I had planned... might not be happening v.v

The premades I have planned may just have to go to getting Lapuchan2.0 if worst case scenario v.v

OK! Here is the plan!!

Originally I wanted to do it on Saturday 24th @ 11AM GMT but I am waiting on clay being delivered. It looks likely from the delivery estimate that the stream will be Monday 26th @ 11AM GMT
I may be able to go ahead with the original plan IF the clay arrives early :O but I will have to wait and see v.v

I will have to note that I will be using my webcam and I am not sure how that will work out, I really hope it does because I would love crits as I work on Zieg's Goat head :3

Literally totally shocked o.o I sent in a fur order (I had terrible service with fabric.com last time and my email correspondence with CRsCraft doesn't fill me with confidence).
Its been shipped already!

My mind is blown o.o

I only sent it in about 2hrs ago, fully expecting 3 days or so till dispatch.

See fabric.com! THIS is how a company is run!

Down side to excellent service is I hope it doesn't arrive this week!! I am out tomorrow and Friday!! I also hope it gives me a chance to get my Friday payment into the bank so I can pay the customs when it comes o.o

Now I know why everything is a higher price! Depending on the condition of the fur when it gets here I might just be switching to Mendels as my mail supplier :3

I am contemplating holding my first fursuit related stream next week or so.

I've done illustration streams before and I have had quite a few videos on YouTube now that you know what I look like so I don't have to worry about that anymore :3

The subject would be me sculpting a goat base and molding a cat base. I would be starting early at about 11AM GMT (about 6AM in America) Probably Saturday/Sunday and would be working until the last layer of mold is on (at which point I collapse in a heap and sleep :3). Which will probs be 11PM GMT (if I pull my socks out!) so its the potential to get quite a lot of work done sculpt wise.

Main reason for this is the Goat base. I would like crits as I go on :3

I should have the huuuge desk set up by then and a decent sculpting area (atm its my bedroom floor o.o) if I don't break my back :3

This journal is just to gauge the interest, if there is sufficient then I will go ahead with it and give a fixed date :3

I have some arts to finish off and house work to do before I start any fursuit stuff. I have been gifted a huuuuuge table top (no legs) so I have to figure out where I am going to stick it and make preparations so it means a tidy up of my main work space is needed!

Resin/Mold supplies came today~

For today's agenda I am completely abandoning sewing in favor of getting the last canine molds complete (now its just finishing claw). Moving forward with the feline sculpt and casting 3 canine bases and a bunch of hinges.
The clay I used for the jawset had a high shrinkage rate so I repairing that too :3

Looks like a busy day today!

Knowing myself only half that will get done o.o *slaps self*

Officially Kyu will be going to Australia for Christmas :3 Thanks to everyone who showed an interest in him/her. I am resizing the costume for the lucky winner and adding a few extra feature!! Most of which are not standard so look out for an improved Kyubimon :3

If I get my socks right, he/she will have:

LED eyes (new eyes completely)
More sensitive jaw
Airbrushing
Refurbished head
Refurbished scarf
and some other stuff but at this I forget (I have a list where it counts :3)

Hooking two 2.2V LEDs up to a 4.5V battery source, easy? Totally! If it wasn't them completely hating on me >:/

Its official... no longer are hand paws my nemesis.... LEDs are *rage* suffice to say I but the soldering iron away, headache from raging at tiny parts v.v

Only managed to get one LED alive, two burned out spectacularly and the other two just didn't work so I can only chalk it up to the pre-wired LEDs having no resistors (I hacked one apart) and/or being faulty. I know the array should have worked as well >.> now I gotta order more parts x.x

I don't take the consideration to sell this suit lightly. As it is I have several reasons:
My landlord kindly changed my rent due date by 16days! And as such I have to let this pup go. Other reasons are that Kyu was just sitting in the closet, I don't even see myself wearing him nor do I feel I have any special sort of connection with the character (despite my love of the anime character the costume is just not clicking with me), I wish I did but I don't.
Because of my reasons I have a few conditions for the winning bidder.

Measurements, both mine and the maximum dimensions for the suit are listed on the auction page.

Suit still has wee bits to do to it (and I am willing to do them) so I have flagged it as a long term completion auction. You can however still bid if you want to attack the suit yourself :3

If payment + shipping is completely received by December 15th I can have it shipped out for Christmas!!
I am asking for a $400 deposit for the suit (see above reasons)

A number of reasons:
The day my rent is due got changed x.x so this kit needs to go. This is a massive pain but unavoidable
He was just sitting in the closet! I don't actually see myself wearing this to a con at all nor have I been able to connect with the suit at all. As I see it, if I hold onto him.. he will end up rotting away in the closet when he could be having fun! x.x

I'll be posting more on this when I find my measuring tape o.o

He will be going up as a long-term completion on furbuy starting at $400. I'll explain more once I find my tape and have finished the listing!

Having to get a measuring tape today... the house has eaten the three I do own!! kind of annoying but it means I have a reason to visit the new craft shop when I go to town!! Also need to get more pins x.x my pin collection likes to periodically migrate to other parts of the house (and sometimes Michigan lol) often ending up in my feet :D
