Ok, so. Kuro the miserable domestic cat is my fursona. I like him, kind of, he looks mean and evil and likes slicing things. It's all good.

But, uh, he's not a great hit with the fandom, since he's not cute or fluffy and doesn't have a rictus grin.

I......do want to be a hit with the fandom. I do. I don't really have another social network and despite being old enough to know better, I want furries to like me and my fursona. Especially if I'm going to be a fursuiter, you know?

I think with practice I could build a decent fursuit (mark one had some serious teething problems, mark two will fix them and have a bigger budget) but I really can't decide whether to remake Kuro, or change my fursona to something other furs will like.

Specifically, a weasel called Murmur, who's probably a girl and not badass or miserable at all. Just nice and cute and huggable and ticks all the boxes for being accepted by the fandom.

I don't really care about being true to myself in general - I have enough non-furry friends (who don't count as a social network because they are scattered across the country, sigh) - what I want to know is whether such a huge change would make me into someone furries could like. Or would it make me seem like a sellout who doesn't know what she's doing?

P.S. For those *still* waiting for pictures - wait longer, I've got a stupidly hard week of work ahead of me.

I'm bored. Bored of my fursona and bored of drawing random stuff for no reason.

I am very sorry about the quantity and type of my submissions recently. I've been kinda going through a really hard time.

Since it was a lot of fun to draw someone else's fursona, (thanks Diran!) and because at the moment drawing's just about the only thing that distracts me from [stuff], i decided to ask if anyone else would like me to draw for them.

Free of charge, of course. Digital, digital with colour, or pencil, it's up to you.

i won't be sad if nobody takes me up on this, so please no pity requests....

Oh, and it can be as violent/depraved as you like. Though the more complicated the pose, the longer it'll take and the more likely it is that the end result will suck.

Ohhhh, the wonder of downloading stuff! I've just finished messing about with OpenCanvas for the first time and it's awesome! Up until now I've been using paint.net because CS3 doesn't work with my graphics tablet AT ALL and it's really stunted my forays into digital art. Also I couldn't download anything else because the intertube connection here is bizarre and infuriating.

Now all I have to do is go home and plug my tablet in and pray that it works!

Someone tell me what to draw first!!

Why is it I find it almost impossible to draw anything *cute*!! Whenever I try it always comes out like some partially-mutated sea creature with acne and a burgeoning allergy to whatever it is his mouth's full of.

Maybe I'm just not fuzzywuzzy enough to draw anything adorable....grr, this lack of cuteness makes me want to SMASH STUFF!!

Um...any tips?
