I have a new suit! Isabeau the Gryphon, made by Beastcub! She did such a wonderful job on her! I’m really excited to get some pictures on Saturday!
Isabul, or Izzy for short, was a blind box commission where I saw nothing and knew nothing except a feminine natural color gryphon, Beastcub didn’t show me anything otherwise.
The really amazing thing about this suit is her eyes, she has eyelids that move! Izzy can look calm, annoyed, silly, or amused in many different eyelid configurations. She is the first suit that Beastcub has done this on. I’m so grateful for all of her hard work 😊

No see! Sorry I haven't updated since AnthroCon, I've been a little busy as a newly apprentice falconer.
I've been working with a passage Red Tailed Hawk named Viper, and hopefully will get some game before the season is over.
Can't wait to get fursuiting some more. I've been lucky to get a photoshoot today in the snow :)

I have over 5 volunteer opportunities coming up that I am fursuiting at. I am able to fursuit at all of them.

Kuroro is a little difficult to wear because of the horns, children get spooked easily from her and since I'm 6 feet tall I become 7 feet 6 inches in Kuroro, she appears to be a giant.

*sigh*

So tonight was a lot of fun! Did you know bubbles are kind of amazing fursuit photo props?! Lol, I didn't... normally I don't get to play with bubbles because it's packed with children (which I definitely don't mind I just don't want to scare and/or ruin their fun!) so tonight was awesome! :)

Two gentlemen came up and wanted pictures and helped us with a few bubble pictures (because "grabbing" a bubble is hard if you have to toss it up in the air yourself!)

Anyways. That was fun! :)

Just had a wonderful time at the MidMichigan FurMeet today!
Got to meet some wonderful people and see some great fursuits.
It was fun interacting with people and just having a great time. I hope I can go to the next one. :)

Hi Guys!

I can't tell you how fun it's been to have a fursuit. I didn't think I ever would have the chance, but I've been saving up for a while and it's just been a blast. I love being anonymous in my trips, other than those that actually know me because of my husband beside me.
I've had a few nice trips outside, from the gardens by our home to a small Renaissance Festival.

I found out a lot of people will ignore you, or be afraid of you, and that's kind of uncomfortable, but understandable. I try to be as polite and quiet as I can around people that are uncomfortable.

I've also found out people are SO excited to see something so unique and out of the ordinary that they can't help but smile, and ask for a photo, or just want to touch the fursuit.

I wish people would be a little more respectful of the works of art that are fursuits, and not "scritch" my nose, or poke where I see out of, but I don't think the general public understands how much work goes into one of these creations. That's okay, I just need to speak up.

Anyways, just some ramblings. I'm enjoying seeing others post about their experiences and what to do if something comes up.

Beastcub has finished Kuroro, and she is BEAUTIFUL!
I'm so glad I went with artistic liberty, I think it just makes it easier on the artist and what comes out is better than anyone can expect.
Anyways, Kuroro will be worn at BLFC, but not by me. If you get pictures please feel free to show me, I'd love to see her in action.
After that, she'll be coming home and I'll be getting some pictures with my hubby :)

On Beastcub's twitter she's sharing the WIP pictures of my beautiful fox/dragon hybrid. I cannot put into words how beautiful it's turning out. She's doing an amazing job and it's turning out perfectly.

The fox/dragon will debut at BLFC, but not worn by me yet. :) If you get pictures, PLEASE post them! I'd love to see her in some photos.

I'm currently down with a cold so seeing the WIP pictures is making me feel better, if not only emotionally right now :)

Beastcub has started the dragon/fox hybrid tail! She's busy with other commissions so she let me know updates would be sporadic but EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I'm so EXCITED. The tail looks so COOL (it's on her twitter page). I love the colors together because I mainly have brown outfits for my Ren Fest gear. I CANNOT WAIT (but I will lol) for her to start the head!! EEEEEEEEEEEE.

Also I've been talking to a few of my friends I might end up going to MCFC in Novi, MI this year. :)
