Really the last update summed up most of it. Still see CAS up by mid week this week, Wednesday or Thursday, the big surprise though is Back to the stars. I can't remember a story which was as easy to write as this since...wow nothing comes to mind. I usually have a 250 words a day goal for my stories, but I'm churning out a page worth of material in less than a half hour for this.

Makes sense F Project notwithstanding this series has typically featured quick updates and completions. The bad news is I have no idea how long this is going to go now, the good news is I like to feel I'm my harshest critic but I looked at this and went damn I really really like this the second I finished writing. So hopefully even though I have added yet another lengthy piece to my docket (no more than five parts I swear on someone else's unborn child!) I at least feel it's worth it.

Also to the Overthinking committee should you happen to read this, that line about the domesticated animals, totally referring to Renez and the Tenabi. Poor writing on my part, there's nothing deep or ominous about it. Just thought I'd get that out there :p

Back to the Stars pt 2 looks to be up sometime between Wednesday and Thursday. Me being me, it isn't a surprise that the initial supposed two parter is going to be expanded upon. I felt I wasn't giving the other half of this crossover enough love, so they got some development this time. It's not going to end up like CAS or anything, think more Wolves of Dunkott, so maybe a Four part story.

CAS might not make it's regular post every two weeks, but it won't be much later than that. Probably Monday or Tuesday of next week.

Given their return in Back to the Stars, I wanted to highlight the Akani's previous appearance, only to find once again I didn't bother to upload half the story natch. Now this time it seems like there was a good reason, mostly cause it's not finished and even more than a certain story that starts with C, I really have no intention to finish it.

After all when you start with multiple attempted suicide attempts and then say well how can I make this story more depressing, you're not in for a happy time. I like the story well enough, just didn't have the heart to keep writing. Still it deserves a spot to be read without a host of glitches, so I uploaded the last chapters up into scraps, and moved the other two chapters over as well so the complete package is there.

Warning this was written years ago and has not been edited since. So it is rough. But if you can get past that and don't mind its unresolved nature it might be a good time killer.

Well probably won't be that great a combination, but on a whim I decided to combine elements from two separate story series and see how it worked, and so far so good. Totally untitled right now and probably won't be more than two chapters, but an opening chapter could be up alongside a new CAS next week (no promises though).

As for which properties? Well I let my two fans figure that one out.

City's a Stage is back baby, without giving a word count can say target update is next weekend.

Dangerous Dynamo Fox has stepped in to the back burner story, mostly cause the first chapter is so damn long probably going to hit something close to 5000 words before I post it, but from there phew. Along with Acting!! this is a prime contender for story that takes over after CAS as my primary focus.

The story that shall not be named got a little love recently, though I wouldn't put any dates on it, it's not totally in the never going to get updated ever zone I've led some to believe. Take that as you will.

Like the concept of a weekly update, so watch me ditch it pretty soon.

There should be a chapter up this weekend, but after that I'll be taking a couple weeks off. Been writing almost exclusively in an effort to finish it off by the summer, but starting to run into serious burn out.

Now I won't stop writing, but I think some shorter pieces are an order, and maybe a trip back to one of my other stories (not connections).

CAS more than any other story has had some musical inspiration to it, and more than once I've thought about including some of the songs into chapters with the one exception it's failed, but that doesn't mean I can't let my 3 readers or so in on some of the songs I've been listening too. For funs sake I won't say what chapter or characters that inspired me, or if indeed the song only inspire future events, or who was meant to indeed perform said songs. Yay speculation!

Still an off chance one maybe even two of these songs could appear, but I don't consider them spoilers since it's all about the circumstances that surround them that matter.

Didn't want to mention it, as I thought I might jinx myself, but I was on a nice streak of updating every two weeks. Sadly that comes to an end here, not for a lack of content, but the next CAS chapter may either need a rewrite, or more content so the mood shift that currently exists isn't so jarring.

Sometime between now and next weekend seems likely though for the next posting.

On a happier note I'm not the only one working on new CAS content. IRC buddy  wolfette is working on a commission for the series. Might be a couple weeks out, but the sketches so far have been awesome.

There's a story missing from my gallery. Now normally this isn't a big deal, I've written a lot of things in a lot of places that shall never see the light of day for a variety of reasons, but I was rather shocked this one never got uploaded.

It is shocking mostly because I've been on such a Stage Series kick, and I know a few people who consider it their favorite Jake/Kate story. More to the point I've actually alluded to it in the last few chapters, how embarrassing. As such Off Stage shall be up by the weekend.

Well at least for the lack of City's a stage updates. Prior to we were at something like six pages done since then only an additional 2 pages have been written.

Also a problem was the ever lasting conflict between comedy/drama and which category this series actually belongs in.

Realistically sometime in the next week is realistic. Though the tone of the final work is still up in the air.

Wolves should be done by the weekend (super serious this time), the rewrite went well and I feel it's an appropriate ending, or at least not terrible.

Bigger news is that I may be experiencing some *ahem* time off from employment again, and am thinking of exploring commissions. Nothing concrete yet, I want to actually see if I have an audience that would want it...aside from the obvious  meisterli .

Ugh, now I said awhile ago that with the new job I would certainly be posting less and for the most part that's been true. Still the final part of Wolves of Dunkott should have been up awhile ago. The truth is I considered myself a paragraph from being done, then gave it all a critical look and deemed it crap.

Lovable 'Old Saw' suddenly turning into an aged grandpa and folksy wisdom, when he started out as a miserable irredeemable bastard with little to no actual character development. So back to the drawing board for me.

With me working my previous update schedule is out the window. However, I find my new job with the duck company (aflacquackquack) is at least giving me free time in comparison to my last job. As such Wolves of Dunkott the finale is getting worked on, but that's pretty much it. Nothing this week, but if we're luck that story will be over next weekend.

Finishing up a story, then your computer deciding at that moment to completely screw you over. Finish Wolves, random computer restart, wolves file? What wolves file? Ugh. Took me awhile but redid the ending for the second part, and I actually think it is stronger. Editing now so it'll be up soon.

The good news I'm employed again! The bad news that means gonna be writing less. Wolves of Dunkott should be up by the weekend, though it might now be three parts ^^;. After that some fall off in productivity is inevitable, but I'll try not to disappear for months at a time, this time.

Considering the archive of word docs. is about five years old, this is bound to happen. Stories get lost between the tracks. Some with actually good plots.

A little more than friends: 3,328 words ETA this weekend.

Needs a a lot of edit work, but it's certainly salvageable. Yay second written sex scene!

Upon updating the story to M.com I realized this story is now nearly four years old! Now knowing my update schedule some of you are saying, well duh all of your stories wind up like this. The funny thing is, the stage series was to be the cure for this.

Really in terms of completed stories the Stage series has been a huge success for me. Center Stage, and Back Stage were the first one shot stories I was happy with. Off Stage though non cannon, is actually the only x rated story I've written that I'm happy with (I should really post my "Just Wrong" file to scraps one day).

Really via hindsight it would have been better if I broke the series up. The Kit Kat club and the current Late show, really could have been separate stories entirely if it wasn't bound by the music festival premise.

Still despite its flaws it is my longest ongoing series, since that new F project chapter alludes me, and I refuse to talk about Connections (STILL REFUSING D:<). This latest part will certainly see its end, with the music festival next. It might take awhile but Jake's gotten into a special place in my heart. I think I can keep writing for him.

You might have noticed I'm writing again after an extended absence, said absence being what scientists tell me is called being employed. Said experiment in employment didn't take well, and as a result have the chance to write again. Still it is slow going, not in the creative shape I was earlier in the year. In any case hopefully this means more work out of me sooner rather than later. That or I get another job, but what are the chances of that?

More a post for me than anyone else, but I've promised to keep my story updates weekly and it's been more than week so here's a look into what I'm doing.

A quick commission for my buddy  meisterli is taking longer than expected hitting 2,529 words as of this writing, which is sad cause I originally pegged the story at less than a 1000 words. Oi I really need to learn how to compress a story.

Since I realized that was taking so long though, I have started the next update on City's a stage in the meantime. So fans of that series (both of you) can look forward to an update sometime next week.

Probably the best thing about this recent resurgence of mine, is that it has put the final nail in the coffin of my old 'I can only write when I'm drunk' philosophy. While I can't deny some of my favorite written submissions were written under the influence, it has been way past time for me to put that crutch to bed. So tonight I celebrate with a nice iced t, and a happy liver.

Can I say that on FA? Anyway just a plea to the good people who take the time to read my stuff, you'd be my very best friend if you commented. I know some people don't like the basic "I liked this", "this is cool" comments. Not me though, I'm shallow. Yeah I'll even take a 'this sucks' that's how needy I am :p

Anyway Villainess is up, and Cabbit/Corgi/Death looks like it's on tap next. After that though I have no idea, and am open to suggestions. Acting, Stage, Villainess, something new? Something old? Just want to hear back from my few fans on what I should write next.

Working on a strategy of writing that becoming comfortable with, it helped get two stories posted this weekend so I'm feeling pretty good. Biggest worry is I'm jinxing myself by writing this, hope that isn't the case *crosses fingers*.

On tap right now is another chapter of Villainess, it is going to be messy by all indications, so if blood and violence isn't your thing might want to skip it.

New Year's resolutions as they often do, kind of turn to crap. Well that's life for you, best laid plans and all that. Still for my readers (both of you), I've decided to take a new approach to the writing thing. Trying to average 7000 words a week. What this means in the short term is 'hey that guy that only updates every few months slightly improved his schedule' hopefully in the long term it will mean more than that.....
