My processor and motherboard completely fried so I'm without my computer and can't afford to fix it. :( It really sucks as my only internet access is on my phone and it puts a crimp in my ability to apply for jobs.

I feel like the only person who liked Desmond :( the writing was on the wall for his death, since he was unpopular and plotwise Abstergo no longer needs a living person for the entire process with the animus and can apparently archive memories. I get that they wanted to close his story, but I got my fill of "protagonist must choose between equally shit tier options and die" with ME3.

Connor seemed kind of bland, especially when we've had charismatic bastards like Ezio. His interactions with Haytham were amazing though. I loved their dynamic.
Haytham was infinitely more interesting to me in general. I feel bad for Connor though, his biological parents dead, his mentor dead, having to kill his best friend, and now his village is gone. It seems like being an Assassin means your life is doomed to suck. Ezio lived his live as a courier for a message he would never understand, and poor Altair. That's all I can say.

This game really made the Assassins vs Templars thing a lot more morally ambiguous. Considering the Assassins unleashed Juno which is potentially a worse fate than the Templars ruling the planet, and that Haytham was right about a lot of things. Connor is stabbed in the back by his allies when they force his people off their land. The only difference being he does not feign affection, indeed.

I've been out of the drawing game for a long time due to injury, moving home and daily stress but my urge to draw is returning.

So this may be a chance for free art! Name one of my characters, link a coloured ref of one of yours, give me a scenario, and a rating (porn, cute romance, platonic etc). If I like the idea enough I'll draw it.

The only rules are no ferals (and as such, my character Pyxis is unavailable for this), no cub, and off-limits fetishes are scat/watersports/inflation/snuff. Human x anthro is okay.

Yeah I turned 29 (scary!) on the 10th and I'd like to say thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday! It's very much appreciated.

As some of you may know, I am a moderator of the LJ group Artists Beware and have been since September of last year. I have also been a member and user of the community for much longer, and I would like to try and clear up some of the misconceptions I keep seeing about AB.

- We are not a drama group.
AB exists to be an artistic consumer action/awareness community. We allow users to post reviews - both positive and negative - and when it comes to the negative ones (or "bewares") we require evidence that the transaction took place and proof to back up the users complaints. Our queue is moderated and we fact-check to the best of our ability before approving or rejecting a post.

Within these posts, we mods do our best to keep things civil and we do NOT condone harassing any featured parties. Being caught doing so will result in a warning, suspension or even ban depending on severity and the user's history.

Anyone featured in one of our posts is welcome to join the community and tell us their version of events. There are two sides to every story after all and our group is open to hearing both. This post has some very good advice on how to handle such a situation.

-We do not want to destroy reputations.
Contrary to some of the misinformation I've seen thrown around, we do not let anyone post absolutely anything that they like, nor is our purpose to smear someone. Ultimately our aim is resolution, for both parties to reach an agreement and move on happily. When this happens the post is tagged as 'resolved'.
In cases where such a success is not possible, the story exists as a warning for potential difficulties one may encounter with this person so that artists or clients can make an informed decision when choosing whether to work with them or not.

-The community is not just for posting about artists.
Posts are also accepted, if they meet our standards of quality and proof, on makers of physical items and also on problematic clients.

-We want to help.
There is more to the community than bewares. We frequently have discussion posts and entries where our members ask for advice on numerous situations.

Overall, AB exists as a valuable resource and it is disappointing to see it bashed so frequently. It has helped me successfully resolve issues with at least three artists in the past.

So yeah I got D3 and it hasn't quite won me over yet (though I've been told playing with friends is more fun).

Hello FA! I'd love to hear your opinions on the issue of an artist's skill versus how they treat people. Does it matter to you how someone behaves? Would you -watch an artist for being rude to someone, or even yourself? What if it turns out that they trace or scam their customers? Would you still be a fan?

My personal feelings are that I can't seperate an individual from their craft and if they're a terrible person it's hard for me to enjoy their work or feel the same level of respect.

I have especially little patence for those who are rude because they think it makes them 'cool' or 'edgy'. Gracious, laid-back and kind individuals are people to be valued, and it's that type of person who I love to work with when commissioning art. Being abrasive might get you attention or followers for the short term, but those people will be hanging around you for the wrong reasons.

I know I've been scarce lately guys, and hope you don't feel like I've been neglecting you all! I have arts to upload soon, what's been going on with me are just health woes. For months now I've had pretty bad abdominal pain and my doc reckons it could be either a reproductive issue, my appendix or a hernia, and she's leaning in the direction of hernia.

I had a CT scan on Saturday at the hospital and am waiting on the results. In the meantime I've been in a lot of pain and haven't been on the computer very much so thanks for your patience.
