LOVE YOU ALL!!!!
FE Meme thing
Posted 11 years agoWell its about time I do mine! I have a spare few minutes before I crash tonight so here we go!
Where are you staying?
In the main Hotel.
What day are you getting there?
Early Thursday
How long are you going?
Till Monday morning.
How are you traveling?
Driving down in a convoy!
Who will you be rooming with?
Sister, her boyfriend and
yazoobishi and
Avilon the bestest man in the whole wide world
Who will you hang out with during the convention?
I have a booth so whoever decides to hang out near me I guess lol.
What do you look like?
Check my profile pic or look for my identical twin running around.
What is your gender?
All girl.
How tall are you?
5' 5"
How is the best way to find you?
Corner booth #45!
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
A polite "Hey Kitty", "Hai there pink thing" or "Hi Mal"
Are there any panels/events you might be attending?
Nope I'll be busy all weekend pretty much.
Will you be going to parties?
Nope I don't drink or do parties so please do not ask.
Will you be fursuiting?
If I have time yes! I have 2 suits this year, Phil-Raptor and Classic Kitty.
Do you have an artist table?
I have a booth in the dealers den yes, again #45.
Are you mated/in a relationship?
Absolutely to my wonderful man
Avilon
Can I talk to you?
Yes you may, but if I am busy hunched over artwork at my table please do not take offense if I don't make eye contact while talking.
Can I touch you?
I hand shake, or a hug is just fine!
Can I hug or snuggle with you?
A hug yes, but please get my attention first, no glomping.
Can I visit your room?
I'd rather not.
Can I buy you drinks?
I love apple juice and chocolate milk!
Can I give you stuff?
If you really want to, uh sure? But a hug is just fine!
Are you nice?
I like to believe I am.
Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
Again, at my corner booth #45
What/where will you be eating?
I have no idea yet, but likely places close by.
Can I come with you for food/fun/etc?
Well probably not, I don't get to spend much time with my mate so I'd like to keep our dinners/outings intimate.
Can I take your picture?
Yes please.
What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
I'd like to ensure I at least turn enough profit to make it worth my while. I have a LOT of items to sell this year but I've also spent quite a bit on materials. So please stop by my booth and take a gander.
I'd also like to not take on as much art, or at least pace myself so I can enjoy the dances at night and have a good time.
See you all very soon!

What do you want to see?
Posted 11 years agoSo I've been in the process of making product for Furnal Equinox. I'm going to have the usual, but I figured I'd throw a list out there and ask others if there is anything else they'd like to see and maybe buy.
So far I have
Mens hand paws, in both white and black, short and long pile fur with pink and black fleece paw pads.
Womens hand paws in the same styles as above.
Husky Tails, all colors.
Husky Hoodies, so far in green, black, gold, red and blue.
Fox tails, in all colors.
Ears, both fox and husky style.
So what else would you like to see there?

Life Update
Posted 12 years agoOkay well as some of you may or may not know, I suffer from gallstones, most of the population does but some have complications when it comes to them. I am one of the lucky few who happens to have gallstone attacks.
On christmas eve and into christmas morning I was in the ER with a sever attack. Recently this past Friday I had another. So now I am booked to have my Gallbladder out.
On March 12th, after Furnal Equinox I'll be in for day surgery. I only hope that this will stop the attacks and I'll no longer be wondering if or when I'll have another episode.
So that being said, until then I am on a no fat diet. Zero Fat. It SUCKS. I love fatty foods, deep fried things, all that stuff. So no more. So if anyone here happens to have any food ideas or recipies for vegetarian meals with no cheese I'd love to hear it. So far I've been eating veggie soups, with small portions of chicken breast in em. Some nuts and peanut butter, and lots and lots of veggies.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and to everyone who is on the waiting list for a hoodie from me, you WILL get them made, I just may be late by one week in replying to all your quotes and sending of invoices.

YCH ideas
Posted 12 years agoSo wow, big thank you goes out to all the people who have bid on my first 'your character here' auction. I am amazed that people are as interested in my art as they are! So I was thinking while I am in the arting mood, what themes/poses would people like to see in future YCH auctions from me?
I really want to work on my fetishes, from mild bondage, or foot fetishes, to extreme vore. So what are people looking for? What tickles your fancy? I am willing to draw pretty much anything so long as it abides by FA's rules and reg. So no cub porn, but I can draw cutesy cub pics if people wanna see more cub art from me.
So make a list, I'll check it twice, and we'll see if I draw something naughty, or nice.
Oh I'm so clever!

Making A Few Partials, Need Some Input
Posted 12 years agoSo I've got a ton of extra fur I gotta get though, so I figured I'd ask around as to what people would like me to make. I have every color of the rainbow and can make any species. So what do you want to see up for auction? Leave a comment and I'll see what I can do.
Seriously thinking of things... (long rant is long)
Posted 12 years agoI'm considering going back to school. I have a terrible job. I used to love going to work, and now I dread it. Which sucks because I have to commute 1.5 hours a day, so now I spend the entire drive thinking of life, how much it sucks, and how I can change it. I'm stuck in a dead end, permanent part time job, with management who takes me and my skills for granted. I've been thee 8 years.. 8 years and I make $11.15 an hour... that's right, someone hired today, in 3 months will pretty much be guaranteed to be making more than me. It's just depressing.
So I've been weighing my options for school. I want to do something that I enjoy, something I have a passion for. I don't want to be stuck doing something I hate, or getting a career just for the sake of money. Life is too short to not be doing something I enjoy.
My options are pretty narrow, well I guess broader than the average, but my passions are; Dogs, Training, Handling, Grooming. Art - all forms, from textiles, fursuits, clothing, costumes, 2D art, sketching, inking, traditional, digital, even preforming arts, I love to preform in fursuit, act, make others smile, laugh, teach people and share information with others. I live for all of these things. So I want my career to reflect at least one of these aspects, if not a few.
So I was thinking art. If I go back to school for art, I can improve my skills, work for a company, or freelance for myself. If I freelance I can do art, fursuits AND train dogs. I'd be happiest doing all of these thing. I'm not happy with my art skills, I want to learn more, I want to get better, I want to aspire to be as great as many of the artists who I follow here of FA.
The schooling options I have laid out are as follows. Art Fundamentals offered at Sherdian, a one year course for a little under $5000 and the much harder, longer program of Bachleor of Animation again offered at Sherdian, an intense 4 year program for just under $14000. Which I need to provide a portfolio for just to get in, and I don't know if I'm good enough. Which is why I was thinking of the one year course first then the animation second. I dont know.
Another big thing would be me moving out. I've never left home, I've never had a reason to. My family has encouraged me to stay home, and save money. Make sense to me. My sister has left a few times, and come home. Its a scary prospect, especially with my dog. I cannot leave my dog at home, I cannot attend school without a pet of some sort, even a hamster, fish, something. Animals are so important to me, and unfortunately the living accommodations near/around the campus are not pet friendly. Now being a trainer, I'd like to think that someone might make an exception for quiet, 25 pound pup. But I also know rules are rules.
So these are my problems, this is why I've not posted any art, why I've been preoccupied, and why I've been so quiet here. It seems to me that life is set on hard mode, and I wish for once, just once it were set on normal. So any thoughts on me going back to school... unfortunately my family has been somewhat less than supportive. Informing me I should go to school for work that easy to find, for something that's needed everywhere and will be a job, and on my off time I can do art, and fursuits, and dog stuff. But I don't want to do that. I just... I dont know.
Thanks to all who got this far in my rant, I appreciate everyone's input no matter what they say.

Attention all Hamilton/Burlington Ontario Furries!
Posted 12 years agoThere is a small get together planned for tomorrow evening, that's Tuesday August 6th near the lake front in Hamilton. I know its kinda short notice but I figured I'd post something here to help get the word out. Now that Condition is over, I figured there may be a few furs in the area who might want to attend, or stop by for a few snack/photos!
Here are the details, taken directly from the event posting on Facebook:
When: 6-6:30pm
Where: 325 North Bay Street Hamilton (Hutch's Restaurant)
What To Bring:
- Picnic food!
- Blanket/sheet to lay out and sit on
- Frisbees, etc
- Games that can be played outdoors
- Ears, Tails, Fursuits!
- Camera
- etc.
We plan to have a covered space for suiters to change, and/or de-head. We strongly suggest to suiters to bring a lot of water, change of clothes for afterwards, and that they wear underarmour. We would like to avoid breaking the magic as much as possible, hence the shelter.
A note: If you plan to bring children/pets AND fursuit, please be sure to have a handler for the children/pets. We care about the safety and well-being of our furry and unfurry offspring.
We're planning to meet near/at Hutch's on North Bay St. near Bayfront Park
325 North Bay Street
Hamilton, ON L8L1M5
For those of you love beach food; poutine, fish, chips, burgers ect, Hutch's has amazing dishes! So bring some extra cash if you'd like.
Myself and
Avilon will be there in fursuit. He'll be wearing his dolphin and me in my new raptor Phil! We also plan to bring a few biscuits for all to enjoy. If anyone stopped by my booth at Furnal Equinox last spring and nabbed a dog bone shaped cookie you'll have a chance to grab a few freebies at this event!
Hope to see a few more of the familiar faces around. I know its a Tuesday event but it's in the evening so hopefully most of us are off work and able to drop in if only for a biscuit.
Thanks for reading, see ya there!

Question to Other Fursuit Makers out there!
Posted 12 years agoI purchased an airbrush recently and I'm slowly getting the hang of using it on paper, fur, and fleece but, how do you make it so it won't wash off of a fursuit head? It says I need to heat set the fabric with the pain on it to keep it from washing off, but you cannot do that on a fursuit head, you'll ruin the fur.
So how do other suit makers who use an airbrush keep the paint from being washed off? Its a very cool tool, I love it and I'd really like to use it on my fursuit heads from now on, but I'm scared my clients will be out in the rain, or want to wash their heads and wash off and blur out all the markings.
So help? Anyone?

I don't know if I ever put my Twitter up on here so here it is. Follow me Kute_Kitty_Katt to see updates on fursuit stuffs. I post images there regularly. So yeah, feel free to stalk me heh.
Life Update and Wally!
Posted 12 years agoSo I know I've been a tad quiet here lately and I have good reason to be, I guess. I'll start off with the good news first!
My puppy Wally officially got his Canine Good Neighbour title. Its a test held by the Canadian Kennel Club which puts dogs through 12 exercises to prove they are well balanced and polite dogs. So I found a test going on in my area and put Wally in it and he passed with flying colors! WAY better than any of the other dogs in there for their tests.
So here's the video of him completing the tests, I'm so proud of him!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQHyBVAfhTE
The two parts of the test which are not seen were group exercises with him in a down stay for 3 minutes while I was out of the room, and him walking around a group of people milling about. He did both of those perfectly too ^_^
Next is some bad and I guess good news.
Recently my car decided it was going to die. So on my way to Hamilton it kicked the bucket, it finally died on the side of the 401 JUST as I was on my way to the Hammer. It could have been worse, it could have died on the 427 or further to the city. But I had my dog, and I had food and I had my sister and her boyfriend in the city to come and keep me company while the tow truck was in route.
So I took it into the mechanic, no dice, shes dead, shes a gonner. So I need a new car. Fuck. But turns out my mechanic also had a 2003 PT Cruiser for sale. So I got that, 2 years younger, purple, and its the same car, same tires fit on it, familiar to drive. Over all a good deal, just wasn't expecting to spend $4350 on a new car right now. So bummer on that one.
Lastly the real bad news. I've been having chest pains intermittently since January. Only two times really, but two times having sever chest pain is two times too many. After going to the hospital then finally going to my family doctor and getting and ultrasound I've found out whats wrong with me.
It turns out I have Gallstones and need my Gallbladder removed. I have an appointment on the 27th with a surgeon to figure out what my options are. I'll likely be out of commission for a while as I recover. So due to this, I'll be changing my diet drastically. Looking for foods with zero cholesterol, high in fiber, only eating healthy fats from nuts and low fat dairy products. No refined sugars, no pork, no fats, only fish and chicken.
My doctor hasn't said for me to change my diet yet, but it seems that this will likely be asked of me in the near future.
So I'm sorry for being quite here, and I'm sorry for my one commissioner waiting on art work, I promise I am working on things as much as I can. Its just a little overwhelming is all. Thank goodness for
Avilon for being so supportive. Hes really the one helping to keep me all together.
I'll update after I find out more information.
So yeah that's my life so far, thanks for listening.

A quick little rant.
Posted 12 years agoPlease, to all furries who are wanting a commissions not only from myself but from others. Learn how to type properly. I'm not talking about the occasional typo here and there, I am talking about poor grammar and zero punctuation.
I am tired of getting emails from individuals that read something like this:
"how much for a costume of my character. ur work is so cool how long would it take to get what i want? i have been wanting a furry suit 4evah!!!11!! kthxbai"
PLEASE put in a little effort when contacting professionals, either for art or fursuits. Whenever I get an email which reads like this I simply delete it because contacting them back and attempting to get the information I need from them for their quote is just not worth it.
If you want a commission and your noting someone, or sending them an email, please use this simple format:
"Hello (name of person/company)
I am interested in (product name here) I am curious as to the cost involved. I've attached an image/link to the character I'd like (said product) to me made of.
Thank you for your time,
Sincerely
(Insert name here)"
And when I say 'insert name here' please be respectful. Don't put YiffyMcFoxYiff or SEXYDAWG or anything of the sort. A human name will do just fine. Nothing's wrong will Bill, Jessica, Devon, Hanna, ect. We won't think any less of you. I always sign my emails via my real name, Mallory.
It's not that hard. Really. I guess I see why some larger companies or businesses only take commissions via their website where one has to fill out an order form to ensure all information needed for a quote is given.
Anyways that's my rant, carry on with your evenings!

Thank You!
Posted 12 years agoWow thanks to all my new watchers! I'm not sure what I've done to get all of you to want to watch me but thank you!
Update on things too:
I'm currently working on a reference sheet, and one partial commission and one full commission for clients, then two full suits for myself. I've recently purchased an airbrush kit in an attempt to better the quality of my fursuits. So we will see where that goes. Keep watching for updates on my fursuits and perhaps some sneak peaks too!
*hugs* to all my watchers! Thanks for reading!

Sketch Book Question
Posted 12 years agoSo I have been thinking, I wanna get back into sketching in traditional media, as in pencil and the odd copic marker pic depending on how I like it. So here are my thoughts. I was thinking of opening up an auction for a sketch book. Its your regular generic black solid cover sketch book, and I was planning on offering 20 or so sketches inside as per the winners request.
So anyone interested in something like this? I'd probably start the auction around $100 which is insanely cheap at $5 per sketch. Now depending on how high the bidding goes, I'd offer inked pieces, and fully colored pieces within the sketch book too, of course the winning bidder would choose which sketches they would want "completed"
So just a thought, if anyone is interested, comment here and I may put up the auction in a week or so, depending on my fursuit work load.

Posted 12 years agoThis is my song, many of you can sympathize with this I'm sure.
"Twinkle twinkle little star,
Why is art so fucking hard...
Up above the world so high,
I can't draw the other eye.
Twinkle twinkle little fuck -_-
Damnet, screw it. I give up"
Need to work on something else for a bit... stupid brain.

Posted 12 years agoSo I totally got an email saying my fursuit/character has been nominated by someone for the tourney! I've never been nominated so I'm kinda interested to see how far this goes! Woo, Go Me!
My Poor Fish
Posted 12 years agoSo I've had an aquarium for as long as I can remember. The current one I have is only 25 gallons and I have 3 goldfish in there. I know I'm over traditional limit of fish I should have in there but they're reasonably small compared to other goldfish I've had.
One is a black moor, Micheal to be exact. Micheal Moor, get it eh eh! I've had him for almost 6 years now and hes been a healthy happy fishie, accept for the fact he was black and is now solid gold, not a speck of black on him. So after research it seems my Mr. Moor is a Mrs. Moor and shes in spawning colors. I think.
ANYWAY the other fish are traditional fancy goldfish, one a butterfly fin, and one a very short finned ryukin. Both are under 2 inches in body length. Since I've added the smaller short finned ryukin (Tank is his official name but I call him Small Fin) my tank has had issues.
It stared with ammonia burn on 2 of the 3 fish. I did a water change, added ammonia remover crystals to the filter and bought an ammonia reader for the tank. Problem solved. Shortly after that I noticed fussy spots on the same 2 fish, so I treated for Fungus and in 5 days that was all fixed up. I did my partial water changed, switched out the carbon and that was that.
NOW I have cloudy water. The ammonia is reading normal so I'm assuming its the Nitrates and Nitrites. But the water change I did was only 20% and I did not clean out my filter at the same time, I only replaced the carbon, not the sponge or BioMax crystals.
So I just cleaned out my filter completely, changed everything out of it and added my air stone back into the tank to help add in some oxygen and increase the current to aid in filtration. If the water is still fuzzy lookin come morning I'll perform a 10% water change and see how that goes.
I pride myself in being a really knowledgeable fish owner/hobbyist. But these last few weeks have been really hard since adding in the newer member to my tank. Hopefully everything evens out and I dont lose anyone. These guys have been with me for years! Kinda attached to em ya know?
So anyone else into fishes here? Particularly goldfish who've had similar issues?

FE and MFF
Posted 12 years agoSOO after a long long weekend, and an even longer month leading up to it, I'm happy that I get to go back to real life. That being said, I did have an amazing weekend with all of my friends.
Being a dealer I spent most of my time in the den, selling and doodling stuffs. But it was all worth it, after walking away with $1,250 profit at the end. My cookies were a huge hit, epically on Sunday once people were aware I had them at my booth. Having never really sold food at a convention, a lot of people didn't expect them to be there.
I didn't take on too many commissions this time round, so I was able to enjoy the dances at night, I was able to dick around in suit and have fun! It was great to have
yazoobishi there to help at my booth while I was running around for the fursuit parade. She helped me out SOO much *hugs* love ya babe!
It was the first time ever my mate
avilon was in suit and I gotta say, it was a blast! He played the character very well, and it was so much fun to dance around with him each evening.
So in the end, it was a very successful and productive weekend and I cannot wait for next year and next years theme!
Now in other news. Since I've had my puppy, I've not really done much of anything, but since he stayed here and my mother watched him, I realized how much I missed going out on weekends and seeing friends. I want to make a point of doing this more. So I'm already planning the next convention.
Avilon and I will be attending Condition Wasteland this year for sure, again as a dealer there. And after that, we'd really like to go to MFF. That being said, before I run over to the MFF website and order a room for ourselves, I am wondering who all is going and if there are any furs out there who are looking for 2 roomies from the Wednesday/Thursday to Sunday/Monday. If so please comment below.
Thanks for taking the time to read!

Attention to those attending Furnal Equinox
Posted 12 years agoI have a few questions to ask as the con is fast approaching! First off. I have officially been given permission to sell my chocolate chip bone biscuits at my booth! For those of you who didn't see my submission of my first attempt at them here ya are: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9871447/

Also, I am in the works of finishing up the partial commissions due for the Friday of the con, and thus am working on building up extra stock to sell. I will have a few things for sale pre-made:
Hand paws

- Husky Tails in all the colors of the rainbow. Red, Orange, Yellow, Lime Green, Light Blue, Royal Blue, Lavender, Black, Gray and potentially rainbow
- Husky Ears in all colors to match tails
If there are any products that are not listed above that you'd like to see, please comment. If there are any products seen here that you FOR SURE want, please comment also! I just want to be sure no one is left out or misses obtaining the products they really want.
Thank you for taking the time to read this over, see you all very soon!

Question to All Attending Furnal Equinox
Posted 13 years agoI would like to submit some artwork to the Art Show, but I have no clue what! So to all who are going to FE, what would you like to see me draw up to sell there at the show? It can be anything from PG cub fur art, to adult mature work and anything in between. I'm open to anything, but all will be done traditionally and the originals will be the ones for sale at the show. Let me know which species of animal you'd like to see in the works as well.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I have a Question to all Other Artists
Posted 13 years agoI have been using an hp tablet PC for a many moons now for doing all my digital art on, and my back is taking a tole on holding the heavy laptop up while doing art on it. So I was thinking on purchasing a tablet for Christmas/Boxing Day for myself.
So my question to all other artists is, have any of you used a tablet like an ipad ect for doing killer digital art on? Should I even bother getting one? I was looking in to getting the Samsung Note 10.1 tablet as it already comes with a pen and apparently comes with its own half assed version of photoshop.
I haven't been able to test one out and dick around with on in shop yet, but I figured I'd ask people here and see what others have to say about them, be it good or bad I'd love to hear it all.
