I totally just got back from seeing Cesar Millan! ERRMERGERD *makes fan girl flappy hands* HE. IS. AMAZING. We had 5th row seats, I went with my mommy, and my manager/co-worker. We had a great time, the man is a profit, and he is far more handsome and funny in person! I learned a little as I already have 2 of his books on audio and listen to him in my car almost every day. But to see him work with a dog in real time, to see how he describes different methods, behaviors, it was just great. And on his way off the stage after the Q&A session I swear he waved and looked right at me!

Being able to be in the same room as my idol, and share it with my mom... Priceless.

So this is a shout out to those of you who who want a partial fursuit from me, or for those who might.

I am opening up my fursuit workshop again, but I will be doing so at half production in the beginning, meaning I will only be taking on partials or pieces of fursuits no full suits for now. So that being said, is there anyone who wants a partial? I am willing to do a head, paws, tail and feet of just about any species one would want.

Failing anyone wanting to commission me. Those who are lacking in funds at the moment can suggest a character they want me to create, or a species they'd like to see up for sale in the near future.

I'll take all suggestions on the matter into hand with the materials I have in stock. Quotes for prices will be given via replies to comments below, if a customer is truly interested conversation will be moved to notes/email.

So who wants a fursuit?

So as I do every year, my sister, her fiance, my boyfriend and myself all headed down to Church Street in Toronto. With the rain expected we thought the turn out would be rather small but boy were we wrong! Thousands of people were down there, and I lost track of photos taken at 80... while we were still standing in the TTC station. It was epic, the usual pace taken with *shuffle, shuffle, photo op, photo op* ect. We barely could walk 4 feet without getting stopped for photos! It did rain more towards the end of the night, but that's okay cuz I had a big pink umbrella so it matched me hehehe.

I met a few fans of furries, one or two locals I'm sure too as they knew my name, but of course in suit at night I couldn't see a darn thing.  Avilon was blown away at the amount of attention I got in suit, he was my body guard, keeping away the drunks and unsavory types. <3

The only down side to the event was my fursuit feet. They were like a sponge. After walking on damp pavement for 20 feet my feet weighted and extra 20 pounds >.> So walking was a work out, throwing my whole body into lifting each foot as we went. When in the subway, I was leaving nice neat paw prints where ever I walked, and upon arriving back at our hotel (which we decided to stay at the hotel used for FE this year.. super amazing) I had to squeeze out black city water from my poor feets. So they sustained some damage, but I'll be able to fix them for sure.

In the end we had a blast, totally worth it, and once more I look forward to going back next year, without a storm hovering over our province!

Okay so I JUST finished my last commission I owed since.. well... LONG ago. That being said, I will be opening for 5 commissions at a time. To all my fellow Canadian furries, happy turkey day. I just put our bird in the oven at 22 pounds, should be done for 4pm along with all the trimmings. My father wanted to remind us what today is all about, its about being thankful. Being grateful for all that we have. So I thought I'd post this journal.

I am thankful for being able to spend one day with my whole family. Working weekends I barely get to see my father, or my identical twin  kandiraver22 So its wonderful to be able to sit and spend time with all of them. I am thankful for my mate  Avilon who has passed up dinner with his own folks to come and be with me and my family. I am thankful for him and all that he has done in the past 10 months. I am thankful for my mother, an all she has given me. I am happy to have my puppy to share this day with, I am thankful for his health, and wonderful temperament. I am thankful for my health, for my job, and for this wonderful place I call home.

I am thankful for a lot. So. What are you thankful for?

First off, its been one year, one whole year since my life has turned for the better. In this year I've accomplished a lot, from traveling to Chicago for MFF, getting the puppy I've always wanted, saved up over $2000, spent some time on me, lost weight, and met the man of my dreams.

I want to thank everyone of my watchers, and every single friend and/or family member of mine. Keeping my spirits up, lending me shoulders to cry on, and over all being there for me every step of the way.

Having gone from the past I had to the present I am now in is remarkable, and the future is looking even more bright.

So thank you, thank you all from the bottom of my heart, and a special thanks to my love  avilon I love you.

So last week not only was my 25th birthday on the 22nd of June, But, on the 21st of June it was our 6th month annaversary of myself and  Avilon being together. So what better way to celebrate than to go back to the very same place we met and started dating... We went back to Niagara Falls.

It started out with leaving in the afternoon as to avoid the mid day heat and massive crowds. We parked near the falls and headed out on a walk, bringing our sketch books just in case we felt the need to doodle. The weather was perfect, the falls of course were magnificent, everything was perfect.

We wondered around a bit, and finally took a seat at a picnic table near the falls, but out of reach of the mist. The view was spectacular. We just sat there and hugged each other, happy to be in one anothers arms in such a romantic and special place.

After watching a ring billed gull try to swallow a watermelon rind whole, we decided we were feeling peckish too. Not wanting to walk all the way up the hill, and for those of you who've been to the falls, you know the one I'm talking about, we decided to take the incline rail trams. For $5 each way, for both of us, it was incredibly worth it. Not only did the cars take us to the top of the hill, but it pretty much spat us out right beside the hotel we first stayed in, the hotel where I asked him to be mine.

Beside the hotel was the Applebees we ate at mere moments after we pledged to be mates for one another. It holds a special place for us, and the fact  Avilon planned to take me back there means so much to me. Our waitress was fantastic, we had the same meal we ate way back in December, and we got free desserts complimentary of our server, Jess. She made us feel so special, I will always want to go back there.

After our supper we rode the rail cars back down to the falls, the view was breathtaking as the sun was setting and the falls took on a pink hue. Looking at them, and having the man of my dreams beside me was almost too much to bear. I was grinning from ear to ear.

We walked around until well past sun set, watching the glow of the lights transform the falls, the simple quiet of the evening slowly enveloping us. As the horses and buggies turned in for the night, we decided to call it for ourselves. We walked back to the car, hand in hand, a perfect end of a perfect evening. I cannot wait to go back. And I am so lucky to not only have such a wonderful mate, but the fact we can simply make a day trip to the most romantic place on earth.

So here's to you my love, thank you for everything, thank you for being the most important person in my life, thank you for changing my life, thank you for being my one and only.

Yup, officially today I am now 25 years old. Old enough to.... rent a car without paying extreme insurance fees.. and yeah... hehe. I got a wonderful new duvet from  Avilon So I have a brand new bed set too to go along with it. And I think the best gift coming, my puppy. Hehe. So yeah, yay me for being 25 years old.

THANK YOU!!! Omg I cannot thank you guys enough! *blushes* You are all so awesome! It'd take forever to go through and thank each and every one of you for your watches so I'll just post it here in one big journal!

Okay so I dont play drinking games, I dont even drink. BUT! My sister was telling me about a dumb drinking game and one of the rules was "Replace one word from any movie title with the word Vagina"

SO after laughing my ass for for a good 20 minutes I decided to see who here could come up with another killer title.

So for those of you who know me in person know that I'm a husky fusky.. Meaning I'm a bigger girl. And there is nothing wrong with being bigger BUT I was offered an ultimatum. And that is. If I loose 40 pounds my parents will outright buy me a Corgi, the dog of my dreams.

I've never really had any motivation to loose the weight because I have a family who loves me, and a mate who loves me more, so it never really came up. But after hurting my back my body has been telling me to give it a helping hand by putting down the cookies >.<

So it starts now, I have joined Weight Watchers along with a co-worker and we are doing this together. I will probably post random journals here as I make my progress and complain about how badly I want all the nummy stuff that is on the no-no list.

So here we go, right now I am 40 pounds away from the dog I've always wanted, lets see if I can get there by November/December.

Well I woke up today and felt fine, got up, did the dishes, ya know, the usual. When I bent over to grab a hamper of laundry I pulled something in my back. Enough I collapsed to the floor in tears. After getting to my feet and laying in bed, I texted my mother who was in the other room to come and help me.

I took a T3 in hopes of having that cope with the pain but it was a no go. So laying in bed, eyes on the ceiling and cell phone on my chest I called into work and told them my situation. I haven't called in sick to work in over a year. I feel terrible about it, because I'm an instructor, I have clients depending on me being there.

So after that I cried I was in so much pain, then called a chiropractor. After getting off the phone with them, I once again bawled as I walked down the stairs to my car and got in. Sitting was so painful I was white knuckled pretty much all the way there.

So it turns out I have a slipped disk in my back just above my L5 causing a pinched nerve. That explains the extraordinary pain I seem to be in.

There is nothing I can do but lay still and pray I dont have to get up for any reason. I will not be in work today or tomorrow... I dont like feeling useless.. it sucks... I cant even sit and sew or pick up my tablet pen and draw...

*sniffs*

A firday off! A friday off! I have a friday off! I'm gonna go... uhm... I... I'm gonna go and work on fursuits and art... >.>... Oh well least its still a day at home.

Well time for me to do my post FE review. I’ll try to keep this brief, but we will see.

My con weekend started off 3 days before leaving Friday morning with sewing, drawing and over all prepping for the convention. I had several paws to finish making, along with multiple tails, and about 20 or so con badges too. So to say the least, I was stressed, so stressed in fact that I developed a half-assed cold with a stuffy nose, and sinus pain. I literally worried myself sick.

So Friday morning myself and  Avilon left in my car, and we were tailed by  KandiRaver22 and her man John in their vehicle. We left around 8am to get into the city by 11, with a nice stop for breakfast and to grab a few needed items too.

We arriving in the city, I stopped by a currys art store to grab a few extra markers, and to deck out our cars with crayola window writers, writing “FOLLOW ME TO FE” all over each vehicle. We added paw prints, cat faces, scribbles, you name it. It was quite funny, because at the time an unmarked police car was parked beside us and commented on the fact he was happy so long as we didn’t write on his car. Tho after we giggled about how funny it would be to write “POLICE” on the back window of their unmarked car, heh.

After our doodle time we headed over to the con in the blazing heat of March...>.> Yeah.. I don’t know what happened to winter but apparently it left overnight one day and we’ve been into summer ever since. Pulling into the hotel me and my twin got out and left the men with the cars, while we went to check in. We got our warm cookies and our fancy new room keys and parked the cars.

It was wonderful to be back in a con setting, it’s been months since my last con, and it was my first convention with my lovely mate  Avilon It was great seeing everyone and having everyone say hi to me. Apparently I’m a celebrity among the community as EVERYONE knew my name and wanted photos and wanted to say hi. I’m sorry if I forgot your names, I’m terrible with names >.> It was still nice to hear “HI KITTY” or “OMG KITTY HI” with hugs and waves everywhere. I don’t think  Avilon was prepared for it, but he warmed up and was rather humbled by the fact that hes lucky enough to be my mate.

Once we got all our bags in the room, I moved my stuff into the dealers den and then jumped into suit for a while. It was SO great to break out my new suit again, with her bran new head built just in time for the con. I am so happy with how she looks, and everyone seems to love her too.

Come time for the dealers den to open I was ready to deliver two fursuit heads, and many badges. It was great to get everything to their rightful owners. I once again sold out of paws really quick so next time I promise to everyone I’ll have much more!

Friday night I didn’t get down to the dance as I had more custom badges to get done and pieces to complete, but my twin was down there and she said it was a blast. Sad I missed it but I did attend on Saturday night for a bit. On Saturday I was at my table all day, barely eating a thing but having  Avilon beside me helped to keep me sane. He spent a lot of time with  Canucklehead but it was okay, hes such a good friend of us both and he too helped to keep me sane and feeling safe. By Saturday night my cold had finally left and I didn’t stress over my commissions and I got to bed at a decent time.

Sunday I had a few commissions but not many, but it was great, I had time to relax and reflect on the weekend, I got to chat with others and catch up with old friends along with making many new ones. We got the classic con meal for supper on Sunday, that being eating pizza in bed in our hotel room, just awesome. The closing ceremonies were epic and I’m proud of how much we were able to help out the local charity. It brought a tear to my eye to know I was able to help out that many homeless pets, and being an employee at PetSmart, it really did hit me deep.

Sunday night was the best night of all. I had a chance to suit around and act all silly. I sung some karaoke with my twin, dancing to “Stop” by spice girls and singing “Fuck you” by Cee Lo green. I’ve always wanted to sing that one in suit, it was so great. The dance to follow was awesome, we dragged a fan from what was left of the headless lounge into the dance room, and we got to request songs such as “Thriller”, “If I had a Million Dollars”, “Rasputin”, “You Spin me round”, “YMCA”, and most epic of all, “Numa Numa”. It was awesome, a bunch of friends singing and dancing, some in suit some out of suit, just fantastic.

So over all I made a killing at approximately $1300 gross over the con weekend, which is enough to cover the cost of my puppy when I get him. I made many great friends, and I got to spend a whole 10 days with my mate. So I had a great time, I cannot wait till next year, but for now, time to look forward to Condition in London in July. I am packed for fursuits till September, and people are still getting in line to commission me. I be one busy Kitty!

So with FE right around the corner... literally, like, its practically here... I've been stressing over getting all these badges done along with some paws and tails to sell. So upon waking up today I asked  Avilon what he wanted for breakfast. When I opened the fridge to see what options we had I saw the cake we had baked yesterday afternoon. So I said "How bout cake?"

So yes... I had birthday cake for breakfast... it. was. awesome
