I'm opening myself up for commissions! I've got a bit extra time to play with because Our World is posting already-existing pages for a while, so I'm opening up to 10 commission slots.

My prices can work on a sliding scale and are subject to extra charges or discounts depending on the complexity of the request (gotta make money but I want people to come back!) but a pretty good baseline on prices is as follows:

Sketch: $15
Inks: $20
Flat Color: $25
Shaded: $35

Full Background - +$20
Sketched Background - $10
Color Gradient / No BG - Free

All prices assume a mid-long shot and single character. Extra characters will be extra at approximately a 60% increase per character (IE: $15 for sketch goes to $25 for 2 characters.) Bust shots or closeups may get a discount. Chibis and account icons / display pictures get discounts. Etc, etc - Please just ask about your idea and I'll be able to give you a more tailored estimate!

I am very accepting of subject material - the only things off-limits are explicit (pornographic) material of the Our World cast, and certain fetishes. Again, ask for more details.

I've not been secretive about what we were doing with the rewrite, but just in case anybody doesn't know what's going on, some backstory on what the rewrite was:

It’s kind of hard to explain, but the version of Our World we've been posting on the Katbox is basically v4.1. Version 1, which had no name, and was a sort of gaming comic with Pete and Jill that I developed in the latter half of the last decade. Version 2 was called “A Little Wilder,” and the part that was actually drawn detailed Alex’s arrival in Selicia before I gave up and started over. Version 3, which I was already working on when CV signed on as my writer, was called “No Use Worrying” and again followed Alex’s first day in Selicia, this time getting as far as showing her meeting Jill and Pete.

Around May of 2010, we decided to start over again, with Version 4, which was called “Our World” and was structured almost the same as the version here, beginning with Jill on the beach as a teenager and then skipping forward to, again, Alex’s first day in the city. Around the end of 2012, after much bitter arguing, I convinced CV that we should conduct a rewrite of the story’s beginning, where the first impressions are made. We’ve just concluded the rewrite – Version 4.1 – and will now be posting the pages from Version 4 that we decided to keep up on the Katbox. However, we will be making some minor adjustments to them, most notably the addition of shading, which hopefully will allow them to blend in reasonably well with our new archive.

We've decided to take inter-chapter breaks, so we’ll be on hiatus for two weeks, but when we come back you’ll be getting updates twice a week – Tuesdays and Fridays – as we work through our backlog of Version 4 pages. I’d like to thank our new and old readers alike for joining us thus far, and I hope you all enjoy seeing what comes next.
