EXPERIENCE !?!?
Posted 14 years agoOkay so you go job searching. This place has a bulletin board with all the openings on it. You start to read. OOOO arcade attendant something you think you would be good at. You scan over with your finger. Requirements: Must be 18 (in your mind you think, well I'm like 20 so that's good), at least 1 year of experience. You stare and wonder why something so easy needs to have experience for.
Jobs out there at the moment are like that and the ones like me that don't have much experience are like really wtf is this. I need experience for that. How the hell am I suppose to get a job when I need experience.
My thoughts are well first you need to get a job to gain experience. Okay.... So you go looking for a job like security .... the requirements are to have experience.... how the hell are you suppose to get a job when you cant get a job because they want you to have experience. Like what gives.
Gives us the fricken job regardless of what experience we have. We make money, spend our money, the economy gets better and we all wont be job less, because we don't have EXPERIENCE.

Weighting things out
Posted 14 years agoHoly crap I'm so lost at the moment... The world around me keeps spinning but for some odd reason I'm stuck being motions less. I trying to weight things out but i don't know which way to lean. Everyone around me is moving forward and progressing in life I'm stuck here watching them get further in front of me. At home searching for a job, thinking about life, and wondering which way i should go in my educational career. Everything and everyone around me is on my shoulders and I'm just being weighted down. Confused on what to do.
At the moment I have been thinking about what degree I should go for. First it was Culinary arts. But I have heard some rumors going around about how hard it is to get a Chef position in the working world. So i got to thinking Since my buddy Kero wants to start a business and My other friend is into photography that means I should Get into something that will be useful in the future. Since everything is done on the computer now a days I though about falling my other dream of making websites.
So now that I have set my mind to becoming a web designer. I think the future makes a little bit more since to me. I still have the dream of becoming an international chef and opening my own restaurant but I think that dream will have to wait for the time being.
