The Bar Exam
General | Posted 18 years agoWell everyone; I leave for the bar exam today. It starts tomorrow and goes through Thursday. I'll get back to posting my story this Friday :)
Hopefully these three years of Law School will have meant something.

Graduation
General | Posted 18 years agoAbout three years ago, I walked across a stage after some nice lady said my name over the loud speaker, I was handed a nice holder for my diploma (which I would get mailed to me later on), shook hands with some guy...probably the President of the University, or at least the Dean of the College of Arts and Science, and walked off the stage and returned to my seat. The ceremony itself was nice but amazingly boring. Still, I'd go to it again just for the experience.
However, when I went through that graduation, I knew then I was going to Law School, so it didn't seem that exciting. Sure, I'd just obtained a BA in Communication (I still contend it should have been a BS in Communication, but I guess it's not my call), but at the time, it didn't seem all that great. I wasn't going to do anything with that degree other than use it to get into Law School.
On May 5, I'll do this again...only this time I'll receive a holder for my Juris Doctor degree. The degree itself will me mailed to me once they verify I've actually graduated. This time, I'm not going back to school. This time, this degree means my career.
...I don't know how to feel :P
Thankfully, I guess, there's still this one last exam to take in July that'll ground me right back in reality. One last, two and a half day exam over Ohio Law and what they call the "Multistate" or legal questions that could apply in all States. One day of essays, one day of multiple choice questions, and one more half day of essays. Oy...I can't wait...

I've been thinking...
General | Posted 18 years agoI've been wondering if I should post some of my stories here and on DA. Specifically the really long ones (Timmy's Adventure and Kyle's Adventure) as sort of a build up to the third story being complete. Granted, that's still a few months off, but I wanna do something that'll increase my readership. Is it worth it? I almost think no one new will see them on here, but...who knows?
I never have much confidence in my own work anyway :P That's why I need other people's opinions ;)

Quarter of a century . . .
General | Posted 19 years agoI turned 25 today :) I feel like my entire life is going to change within this year of my life with taking the bar exam and being a lawyer and all. Let's pray it's all good changes too ;)
