Well 25 years down number 26 has just begun.

I have a few goals to accomplish for this one; Last one had some good moments but mostly not great ones. This year I'm working to change that; like maybe start with being less vague XD

Anyway I may update this journal as the year goes on. Whoever is reading this, catch you on the flip!

Last Sunday I realised I can no longer tick the 18-24 age group box anymore whenever I fill in a survey or sign up for something that requires that info.

o.o by that I mean I'm now... 25! I almost forgot my own birthday this year =|

Well now I've had time away from work, I got to enjoy new years day with family. I've now had a drink so that's a fair few glasses of champaign (or sham-pagin if you're Zapp Brannigan.) I may be a little inebriateds at the moments.

Anyway I've made some new years resolutions today that I plan to keeps for the year.

1) When I get back to Dundee join the gym again.
2) Graduate University.
3) Commercially release a game this year.

Well that's abouts it so um... happy 2014 everyone. =^.=.^=

To be honest probably pretty shit. If I remember correctly the year started kinda badly and then everything just feels like its gone up and down with more downs than ups.

I've been disappointed with many things this year. There was the game development competitions that we (as in me and the rest of the dev team) got hyped about and not placing as well as we hoped was pretty disheartening. Which happened several times within the year.

I got to see my best friend properly for the first time in about 2-3 years and then we went to download music festival which was pretty awesome.

My summer was spent mostly working so I could afford a laptop to work on and also play games with people whilst I was back home from uni. Ultimately this lead to me feeling a little disappointed with the fact that I had no time to spend with people and feel that it contributed to some communications break downs with some people.

I've had a few general family issues throughout the year, health/financial/arguments between some people (not involving me but I get told about them.)/etc

Although after the summer things picked up a bit. I got back to uni and when the middle of october came round I felt really good and excited that I would be finishing uni next summer and stuff. That lasted 2 months and then well a big part of my life and future plans were placed in stasis and I've been questioning a lot of personal things that make me feel a little uneasy.

And my last day was spent in work. Working at a hotel bar until 3:30am new years day 2014 So meh to that. It wasn't bad I got enough tips to pay for my taxi back home and a little more which may come in handy. So not too bad a night I guess.

Though I'm tired and it is now 5:10am so I think I shall probably go to sleep soon.

TL/DR: 2013 was mainly shitty.

Today has been good day. Well after I paid for a taxi to go into work for 2 hours and then a bus back home :P

Its the first day I actually felt happy in a long while. I'm not 100% sure why just everything felt a lot better. I went to see the Hobbit in the cinema with some friends. On the way there it dawned on me that this is my last year of uni. I am technically free after that. I can go anywhere find a job in almost any country in the world. This time next year I could be anywhere. Though I may stay on to do a little more educations like a Masters degree or Phd. I also came up with a new game idea that I wanna make notes on and refine over the next few years. It's something I'm really excited about and hope I can shape it well.

Anyway the Hobbit was a good film. Afterwards met up with a few other friends got a little drunk gave someone a piggyback and then played a little Tekken 1 in a psx :P

Also I got the night off from work tomorrow so I dun have work for 2 days =D I et a proper rest.

So it's almost 6am now I should sleep soon so see ya laters :3

The tipsy tiger starts uni again tomorrow... well in 9 hours.

The summer's been interesting I dids a fair bits of works now is back to uni and stuffs.

Also I watched the X-men last stand earlier. It was kinda dark o.o

This might be a little bit of an odd request but as a student doing a programming degree in the UK I'm looking for some commission based work as I'm trying to buy a new laptop.

Since I'm terrible at drawing, can't write, or play an instrument to a decent degree, I've decided to play too my strengths ie programming.

So I was wondering if anyone has been looking for a programmer for something or knows of someone in need of one or just has some advice to give.

My main skills include:

c/c++, C#, Java, Android platform, windows platform, though I've done some PHP and mySQL too. There's also some other stuff I've probably used like unity3D. I'm always up for getting a little dirty in a new language though so I'm somewhat flexible if required.

So yeah, if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

okay so I've just submitted my last coursework piece 5 minutes before the deadline.

submitted my program, source code, presentation notes, and a quickly written page performance evaluation blaming openGL for not being very thread friendly.

Well now that my last piece of coursework has been zipped off and submitted I fell pretty good in saying I'm pretty much finished for second year =D

results in about 6 weeks time but there's no point in worrying over them now so... WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP =D

Okay, so I've had the 5 odd hour journey this morning/afternoon to Dundee. Moved into my new flat. Been to tescos for some cleaning stuff and then bread and stuff to nom.

Bought some mini chicken fajitas to try for some noms later 14 in a box and they were buy one get 2 free :P so i thought i may as well try them.

Now just have the kitchen to clean and then noms to make and maybe wach a film tonight.

Then tomorrow its getting internet sorted. I'm currently drawing internet powers through my nexus one phone, a little limited but awesomely useful none the less =3

Well I got a few days left before I make my 6 hour journey back home on friday. Over the past few days been doing a little bit of work and exchanging pleasantries with my passing friend procrastination =/

Anyway one good thing, I'm done with maths for this year at uni though to finish it I had a horrifyingly bad maths exam. Didn't like doing that at all my guess I got 11 marks out of 50 considering there was one question I fully answered, and I think I got correct.

Sorry for rambling just feel a little annoyed at myself and very tired. It's to early to sleep =/

Also a little bored if anyone wants to talk or play some steam games or something drop me a line or whatever method of communication best suites :P

Once again the hour is 5 hours into the day and i'm still up. I blame the fire alarm at 3am :P got myself some tea after that.

Well it's almost 5am =>.>= and I'm still up been working on my game projects.

I made a video looking at one of my game projects in it's current state the other day, and now I've decided to produce (hopefully) daily videos of progress on the current game project I am working on at the time.

One of the reasons I'm doing this is to hopefully motivate myself by giving my an outlet to demonstrate what I've been doing. Another reason I guess is to maybe at times get feedback from others on what they think. or maybe just peak some peoples curiosity for seeing some random videos :P

Anyway, yeah so that's about it I guess. My tea reserves are running low so I think it's probably time for me to go to sleep soon, as I lack the required milk to make another sufficient cup :P

I have just found I can travel to Dundee for £10 which is pretty awesome considering the distance. So I'm tempted to go on Thursday to take my essentials and then when my Dad gets back he has offered to drop the rest of my stuff off on Saturday.

This is all really exciting, and I'm also kinda nervous too, but what do you expect. I'm moving far away from home to go live and study independently at university

Well today/yesterday (technically) was fun spent 11 hours at a local music festival, near the stage listening to some decent local, and not so local (I think one band had come all the way from Brighton) bands.

Well I say decent, most of them were till randomly we had a group called "Same Difference" (from Xfactor) =>.>= but no-one liked them much so it was good, while they were murdering Journey with there Glee cover of Don't stop believing. I had decided to check out the acoustic tent where there was a guy playing some pretty sweet music on his acoustic guitar XD

After Same Difference left things got better (I didn't notice anyone cheering for them as they left :P ) by about 9.30pm The main headlining band came to the stage, which was non other than the Automatics XD

They gave away a few copies of their next album. I nearly got one, but unfortunately I only managed to tap it with my fingers and it bounced away to someone else =T.T=

Well all in all it was fun, there were many good bands, and the people I saw in the acoustic tent were cool. Which has actually got me in the mood to write some more songs, and to try and signup next year for the acoustic tent.

Though as fun as it was, this tiger didn't enjoy sitting in the sun for too long, and even though found shade by the stage. The silly kitty managed to get himself sunburnt. Curse you mr ball of fire in the sky, when I grab you, you'll be sorry!

I have finally finished my exams, and will be able to relax more. I may take to some drawing, and finishing of projects in preparation for next year.

So yeah I feel kinda good right now. Time to forget the worry of A-levels and enjoy the coming summer.

It properly snowed for the first time, in about 10-12 years, last night but by the afternoon it was all gone, though it did snow on and of during the day, it didn't stay, just melted on the ground instantly =/

other than that not much has happened, though today we did get the 5 topics to choose from for the second unit in art.
The first one a few thoughts came to mind when i read it "Fur, feathers, and scales" =P
hmm... I wonder if i can sneak my fursona into this unit somehow.
