Velocity favoriting just for people that don't know is the the process of favoriting everything with no pattern to it in order to generate attention and clicks to a rando's main page.

For small artists that barely scratch any views per post finding a favorite in their inbox is a treat. Maybe you found a like minded artist or something like that. Instead you find that you got picked at random hoping you'd take a look at some rando's profile that has nothing in common with you or worse is a scammer. It's kind of disheartening and annoying.

I want my time back I spent wasted seeing if the favorite was legitimate or not. I want them to unfavorite my work because it and all the pieces they have 'favorited' means only clicks to them.

Am I the only person who thinks this way?

Four years, not a peep from me, not a single thing posted. I might do something about that....

I realized I've been lead astray and that my own actions have hurt me as a writer!

Although may of you that I know in person can recall that I have made statements like this for sometime.
I realized that while not posting any of my primary works on DA would have insured that nobody would have seen it until I got published. But that has left me with very little feed back that I need to make my writing better.

Recall this: The first paragraph of the posted chapter one
"Kyo shook his head to rid it of a thought, then brushed his sapphire hair out of his blue eyes and back behind his pointy ears with a gloved hand. Kyo was not only a human but also part elf. The gloves he wore bore the many marks of use, and were finger cut."
That was posted June 18th 2007.

Here is the first paragraph of the current chapter one
"Kyo looked up at the ceiling in his bedroom, idlely drawing circles on the ceiling, a large middle one, two slightly smaller ones, overlapping the middle and then three smaller circles, one on the middle, one on either side. He then idlely drew elvic runes for dark, soul, and light, leaving the smallest circles blank."

A massive jump in quality would have only been caused by practice and feed back. I feel that as a writer I could improve more that what practice can give me, I will be posting my current writing on here. This means that prepare for some new writings to appear shortly."

I've been wanting to draw some of my characters doing meme faces... the amusing part is that there appears to be no complete list of all of the meme faces...
