YAY
General | Posted 13 years agoFur suit head mold is complete all but the chin. Its nearly perfectly symetrical on both sides and filled out nicely. I'll post pics after the chin is done.

General | Posted 13 years agoI got a new airbrush machine for fur!
*pads off to learn how to use it after throwing the directions in the trash*
(Edit)
The airbrush instrument joined the instructions in the trash but the compressor is very nice and will use when i get a much better tool.

General | Posted 14 years agoA really great artist has begun an iron artist for watercolor paintings that are really high quality as well as value priced. He is raising funds for a scanner as well as going to see his mate.

life update
General | Posted 14 years agoI do believe I work with some of the most childish people on the fucking planet. A few months ago I left a can of spray paint on top of my toolbox and came in 2 days later to find my furry related stuff painted over. Luckily there Was a camera that caught the person who did it and where fired. Yesterday when i went to work my steel toe shoes that always sit on top of my box had so many tight knots in the laces I had to cut them off. I think I would rather teach kindergarden seeing as they act like adults more so than at the factory I work.
On an upside I did get more clay and am leaving for Virginia Beach in 5 days to visit someone. So i am in a very good mood anyway. :3

damnit!
General | Posted 14 years agoOut of clay again. Have a love/hate relationship with the area I live. It's 38 miles to the nearest place to buy Super Sculpty clay, or anything not carried at a local hardware store, grocery store, or massive power sport dealership.
crazy stuff
General | Posted 14 years agoThis is the kind of stuff i find written on random objects at work in marker:
It's just another guest on deaths best show.
So influential deeper than moms know.
The electric wave the demons fly.
Now could we just be bread to kill or die.
Well there has got to be something else.
All the blame I have placed on myself.
Behind the tired eyes the demon sins.
The tears go uncried.
In the box, just like doing time.
Minds are locked down.
I think this is my new mantra...

wonderful day
General | Posted 14 years agoNot because its valentines day.
I spent the entire day in the basement working on a 2003 HONDA CRF150F I acquired for 500.00 from a close friend of mine. Its in prime condition for its age except it took over 20 good kicks of the kick start to get it to run as well as having less power than a CRF50 when it was running. I dismantled the entire bike top to bottom cleaned everything and rebuilt the carb cleaning all the gunk and trash inside that was causing all the problems. I tuned it and now starts on the very first kick with out priming even when cold. On top of that it now performs how its supposed to with tons of low end torque. I would upload pics of it but its not furry related so if you want to see pics go to my shutterfly account.

i love Quad Med
General | Posted 14 years agoWe have our own doctors office at work and they pretty much give you whatever you want. Those that know me quite well know I have been fighting to loose weight forever but only drop a few pounds one month then not a pound for three months solid. I eat right and exercise often. I mentioned it to my doc at work and he gave me a bottle of these pills called Phentermine. From what I read the next 3 months could be interesting. They are the most powerful drug on the market and considered a controlled substance by legal standards.
room for one more at anthrocon this year.
General | Posted 14 years agoAny of the people I know on here going to AC alone? If so I need a 4th person to share my room with. I only allow 3 other people besides myself to a room so there is plenty of space. I am getting a room at the DoubleTree again this year. Easy 4 block stride to the convention center and the rooms are far bigger and nicer than the Westin.
Xmas happenings
General | Posted 14 years agoWell this is looking to be the worst Xmas in a few years. My grandmother went to the ER a few days ago with a broken blood vessel in her brain that was putting pressure on it and nearly killed her. This is the woman that pretty much makes Xmas happen in my dads family, so the family just flat out decided to not have Xmas at all as a family for the first time in 30 years. She's recovering with no permanent damage but has no chance of getting out in the next 2 weeks.

General | Posted 14 years agoDeleted my account on it. The only people I want to talk to are also on here so why have something that people you don't wish to communicate with use?
new styrofoam heads
General | Posted 14 years agoI purchased some Styrofoam heads on amazon.com that where titled adult male. When I got them in they where only 10" child heads. Upon talking to the company they claimed they where adult size even after giving measurements. After returning them I used good old EBay and found a company in Georgia that makes them called GiELL. They are perfect! Anyone looking for extremely dense foam heads that feel like they are made from stone look them up!
Now what did we learn?

Passionate
You are in touch with your emotions, and sometimes you react before you think. The good news: you don't tamp down your feelings. The bad news: you sometimes say or do things that you later wish you could take back.
You do not live your life on an even keel; you do not go for long periods without experiencing some mood swings.
Aesthetic
You appreciate art, beauty, and design; you know that they are not superficial but absolutely crucial to living the good life. You have good taste, and you're proud of it. Those with a high score on the "aesthetic" trait are often employed in literary or artistic professions, enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house —and are enthusiastic about the arts, reading, and travel.
You don't think it's pretentious to be moved by art and beauty. You're not one of those who believe it doesn't matter what something looks like as long as it does its job.
Warm
You have a genuine interest in other people. You're a natural host, and are always thinking about how you can increase the happiness of those around you. When friends have problems or are in trouble, you're usually the first person they turn to for aid and comfort. Scoring high on the "warm" trait suggests that you are among those who enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.
You don't always say exactly what you're thinking; you don't like the idea of causing anyone pain because of your criticism.
Understanding
You are willing to take the time to find out what's going on with other people, especially if they're in distress. You're a good listener, you don't criticize, and you offer unbiased, respectful, honest advice when it's requested. With a high score on the "understanding" trait, it is likely that you are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.
You don't feel the need to impose your standards on others or say things that, even though true, cause pain.
Organized
You like to think a task through before you embark on it. If it's the slightest bit complicated, you make a list.

just got back from AC!
General | Posted 14 years agoThat was my best trip to Anthrocon ever! Good roommates, great room at the Double Tree, and a all round great time. I met new friends and got to see old ones that I have missed. I hope everyone else had an awesome time this year. I don't think I'm ever staying anywhere but the Double Tree again for AC. The hotel rooms are over double the size, same price, no hour long lines to use an elevator, and lots of parking. All those reasons outweigh the 4 block walk you have to make in the nice part of town. I never had a single problem nor heard of anyone else having one going between the 2 hotels.
