Signal boost of a card game
Posted 10 years agoGreetings,
I don't often post on here (as my last journal was 3 years ago) but I figured this might be worth a signal boost.
Darkie is looking to get his card game off the ground, so I figured I'd give this a boost.

An odd Cryllic character
Posted 13 years agoGreetings,
I occasionally see things written in the Cryllic alphabet (I won't call it Russian because it's not exclusively used by that country). Google Translate helps me along with most of it, but from time to time I come across a character which isn't on my iPad virtual keyboard (nor on Google Translate's virtual keyboard).
It looks like an upside down V or an A without the cross bar.
Is this a short hand notation for another character or is this something new because I can't find reference to it anywhere. I've even looked here (http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U0400.pdf) which is the defacto standard of the characters that be stored by a computer (and yes, I've looked at the extended sets as well).
Anyone have any ideas?

Reference sheet question
Posted 14 years agoWhen considering getting artwork comissioned of your character(s), how important is it to artists to have some kind of style sheet to work off of?
I can understand needing one if the character is uniquely coloured or an unusual hybred. But what if you are just a plain tiger, or bear, or iksar? (Well the iksar might require a sheet I guess, he's unusual)
