HHHOOOOKKKAAAYYY
So for those of you who know about/watch my twitter account ( www.twitter.com/redpandarama ) I have been semi active online despite being cripplingly quiet here and DA. MOSTLY because all of the work I've done have been private commissions, mass WIP pieces, or ones that aren't stuff I'd post.
It's a bit odd to look back on, essentially a month, and not remember what I've done or where the time has gone- all I know is that work was insane and is just now cooling off. My schedule through next week is veeery relaxed, just how I want it. I'll be doing shifts on Saturday (today), I have both my PT and MRI on Monday, and will be working Wednesday, Thursday, and next Saturday. The schedule after that is tba, but I'll also be squeezing in time for visiting family that I haven't really seen at all because of

Hahh aah anyway, that's old news.
What's NEW news for those of you not on my twitah, is that I took the last few days to sit down and get ALL of my traditional linearts done! Which, for me, is the hardest part of art. Before I color them I do want to focus on digital to keep things rotating, so either Sunday or Monday night/Tuesday I'll be jumping into those. What I would like to do before sleeping today is go ahead and traditionally sketch out all remaining digital commissions that don't already have files drawn up. That way I can blow through them when I do finally sit down and open up my tablet.
EDIT: Nope, nope. Did get replies done, but the sketches will have to be done in the next day or so around my work schedule because the exhaustion just hit me like a train
(in further news, my tablet is actually shipped off for fixin's so I'll be using my old reliable in the meantime.)
And lastly, expect some replies if you've commented/noted me!
Things are getting better bit by bit, guys. Just gotta get over this commission hill and seriously kick myself into gear with time management and consciousness of my daily schedule from now on. It's been something I've always WANTED to do, but never something I was in any decent mental place to do, what with being exhausted or overwhelmed by just about anything.
I'm just so happy you're all still with me, and that I can finally shake a leg for yous guise <3

Hey dudes!
Just into the first day of work for this week, so I'll be pretty swamped until Sunday! Then on Sunday my cousins from Spain are flying in just in time to celebrate the fourth. Evan and I both miraculously have it off so we'll be jamming out to some red white and blue food, family parties (well, my family. His doesn't celebrate so he's having a blast being brought into our crazy fam dynamic), and all that good stuff.
After that though, I'm off Monday and Tuesday. So expect some work then!
Until then though, if you happen to see any creepy or weird comments on my page or art, that's because the stalker has decided to keep bothering me. Which is just the type of thing that makes my anxiety spike, my nausea rocket through the roof, and ultimately makes me not want to say or do anything online because the thought of this disgusting person obsessing over all of it makes my skin crawl.
But he's blocked, his nasty unwanted shout hasn't been deleted so that the admin on the report can see it actively, and we're moving on from there.
Just gonna leave this here too because my roommate brought it up when I expressed my disgust of this dude, now we are chanting it back and forth from our rooms.
AND IN CLOSING NEWS, shark week poses are all sold! I don't think I'll have any time to do them before my shift today, but I'll definitely see about going to bed on time tomorrow (I'm sure Evan will love that) and getting up early enough to do them before my night shift Saturday.

HAPPY SHARK WEEK 2016, GUYS!
So, it's pretty late and I'm about to pass out here soon so I'm not keeping Evan from a good nights sleep with my movie watching and all these lights being on. But I wanted to give you a bit of an update so I can get right to business tomorrow after my work certification tests.
Upcoming things-
TRADITIONAL SKETCHES
This is good news for anyone who ordered convention art. I wanted to send it approval sketches BEFORE these last few workdays, but that didn't happen so it's happening today (Sunday)
I'll also be DOING traditional sketches for digital commissions that haven't been rendered yet, that way I can have those done and ready to be colored over to speed up the process.
SHARK WEEK YCH CHIBIS

So I'll be doing shark-themed YCHs in honor of shark week. To make these faster for you guys, they will be in chibi form. I also want them done before shark week is over so that they can be enjoyed during the festivities. Hoping to have those posted today as well!

Hey guys!
It has really been a time vortex over here for Evan and I.
What I'm about to say is going to be pretty self explanatory in a bit once I start posting those updates, but I wanted to bump that super-long journal. Even with the trigger warning, I didn't want to risk bothering anyone who may miss the alert so it's there for those who can find help out of reading it, but for the rest of 'ya I have this waay more chill journal.
Updates- work is work, physical therapy steals all my time, Evan and I are planning a huge trip, yadda yadda. (I did make a pact that I can't go until my comms are fully finished so there's a bit more deadline motivation).
For once though, I went ghost and ACTUALLY DID PRODUCTIVE STUFF HOLY SHIT. Car's in the shop, house is kept clean, finally renovating my art desk area and made it suitable for work which will speed up traditional art, and I have a slew of art to post for you guys. I wish I could have pulled some wizard-ass miracle and had everything done, but I've made some headway.
SO today I'm looking to do some more work digitally. I'm about to update the schedule journal ( LINK ), but I'm thinking that I may not be able to do much in the next three days. I'm working, and while I thought I could work around the shifts it's proved near impossible. I'm thinking that because of that, I'm going to go ahead and send out all texts for FWA sketches so the rest can be approved before I move on to lineart.

HOWEVER I HAVE TO MENTION THAT THIS JOURNAL IS NOT ABOUT ART, It's merely pertaining to an issue that I was given some clarification on recently and I thought I would share.
IF YOU ARE DEALING WITH SOMEONE WHO IS HARASSING YOU OPENLY, DON'T IGNORE THE SIGNS. I did for way too long, and recently found out some surprising information about my three-year long struggle with what I originally thought was just some random idiot. The following is a bit about something I've chosen look into recently to make me feel like there's a decent barrier between me and a stalker, and what the officer I spoke with thinks is causing all of this trouble. (mental illness trigger warning ahead)
My family was urging me to get a restraining order against the stalker after I stopped reading what they were writing about me. They could tell that I was uncomfortable and tense, so I explained the situation to them. We met with an officer to go over the details of the case before the formalities of going to court for paperwork, and he told me that the stalker sounds like a textbook paranoid schizophrenic, who is harboring erotomanic tendencies. I looked up both of those things, and it really fits the bill.
Essentially, schizophrenia is not just 'hearing voices' or being violently psychotic.
It's usually caused by childhood abuse or trauma.
Paranoid schizophrenia symptoms ("schizophrenia with paranoia"):
(I only listed the ones that match this case, auditory hallucinations are common but not always present)
-Grandiose delusions (exaggerated belief of one's own power, intelligence, skills, social status, wealth, identity, value, etc / Delusions that unrelated events/comments/actions/gestures are towards them, of being a celebrity, of having themselves or their work referenced or used by many others, of exalted birth, of being chosen for a special mission, that they have a relationship with a famous person. or that someone is in love with them)
-Inappropriate social behavior/reactions
-Psychosis (losing touch with reality)
-Suspicion of others (so severe that any social situation is very uncomfortable for the schizophrenic- the anxiety and fear they have makes it almost impossible to function normally around others)
-High anxiety
-Irritability
-Withdrawal from friends and family
-Difficulty managing/understanding emotions
-High, unreasonable aggression when faced with a negative or unwanted situation
-Obsessing over/ maintaining at least one delusion
-(Results of untreated schizophrenia) Becoming unemployed, homeless, imprisoned, or more likely to be the victim of a crime
-Oversleeping/insomnia (irregular sleep patterns)

-Delusions of persecution – Belief that others, often a vague “they,” are out to get him or her. These persecutory delusions often involve bizarre ideas and plots (e.g. “Martians are trying to poison me with radioactive particles delivered through my tap water”).
-Delusions of reference – A neutral environmental event is believed to have a special and personal meaning. For example, a person with schizophrenia might believe a billboard or a person on TV is sending a message meant specifically for them.
-Delusions of grandeur – Belief that one is a famous or important figure, such as Jesus Christ or Napolean. Alternately, delusions of grandeur may involve the belief that one has unusual powers that no one else has (e.g. the ability to fly).
-Delusions of control – Belief that one’s thoughts or actions are being controlled by outside, alien forces. Common delusions of control include thought broadcasting (“My private thoughts are being transmitted to others”), thought insertion (“Someone is planting thoughts in my head”), and thought withdrawal (“The CIA is robbing me of my thoughts”).
Now erotomania is usually connected to schizophrenia, and is described as a form of paranoid delusion originally described by de Clérambault as 'having a phase of hope followed by a phase of resentment'
The schizophrenic usually develops this disease from a deep rooted sense of worthlessness, of being unloveable, or of having other hideous qualities to their personality or appearance. In a desperate attempt to salve their lonely, unsatisfying existence, they latch onto a stranger- usually one who does not want the attention or affection- and becomes disturbingly obsessed with them.
The victim of the delusion, with whom only a brief or no acquaintance exists, is someone inaccessible to the schizophrenic. They are likely someone of higher status, or someone the schizophrenic has seen on television, or online. (A 'famous' person) In many cases, nothing has been done by the victim to stimulate or encourage the romantic behavior. The victim is at first unaware of the obsession towards them, but is later likely to be embarrassed by telephone calls, messages, and amorous advances.
-Schizophrenics often believe that it is the victim of their delusion who is more in love with them than they are with him/her. They take great pride in this. They may feel that the subject cannot live happily without him/her.
-Schizophrenics may believe that the victim of their delusion cannot make his/her feelings known because of various reasons - for example, difficulties in approaching them. A secret plot. Or some other unrealistic scenario.
-This type of delusional disorder may lead to stalking or other potentially threatening and dangerous behavior. The police may get involved in trying to keep the schizophrenic from pestering the victim but this may be perceived as a paradoxical sign of affection.
-The schizophrenic may continue to pester the victim and may develop delusions of persecution following the delusions of passion.
-The schizophrenic will disregard any facts, ignoring the reality of the situation. This usually includes them overlooking the victim's requests for them to stop or leave them alone. The schizophrenic begins to see the person not as a person, but as an object they are fixated on.
-They may also be violent against those they believe stand in the way of their delusional love.

Essentially, this man is so lonely that he desperately clings to this false reality (psychosis) that he matters at all to anyone in the world, and what's more- he actually believes that someone who hates him (me) actually cares about him in secret, and that we are 'going to be together one day'. So secure in his delusions that he calls me his 'girlfriend' when I am very clearly already in a relationship with Evan, something all of you probably know more than you'd care to know- what with all my lovey things I draw or write about Evan.
He explain away any facts and truth of the situation to look past what's real and towards how he wishes his life would pan out.
Can you imagine being someone so lost? So far gone that you literally spend your life obsessing over someone who is out of your league, uninterested in you, and already committed to another relationship. You waste years ignoring the facts and their demands to leave them alone, just to keep fixating on them and your fantasy that they will leave their relationship for you.
Many of these people lead miserable, unsatisfied, hopeless lives because they simply will not let go and find someone who actually reciprocates their feelings.
And as such many of them die alone, as is the case with the woman who believed the King of England was in love with her just because she loved him and she believed that him moving the curtains of the castle throughout the day was a reaffirming sign of his affection for her.
Or the man who was in love with the Queen, and stalked around her for years with no return for his misplaced affections.
Erotomania/paranoid schizophrenia is even referenced in the show 'Orange is the New Black'- with Lorna. Who stalked and obsessed over a man who she had only gone on one date with. She built up the dream that they were a couple, eventually that they were engaged, until she found out that he was getting married to his actual fiance and admitted that she had a real problem. Saying that she was 'crazy'.
It's pretty sick, and while it is a severe mental disease I do not pity those who use their disorder as an excuse to write off the harm they cause others.

MOVING ON TO MY MAIN POINT,
Because I've made the decision to let go of the nausea and disgust I have for this situation (although it is hard to not feel uncomfortable), I would normally not post an article like this publicly. From this point on, I've planned to handle my repulsion of this person privately- which gets easier each day that I stay away from the creepy things that they may write about me. However, this post is not for my sake- it's not even for the sake of asking the stalker to stop harassing me.
I have had many people contact me both publicly and privately claiming that they have either had the misfortune of encountering situations like this in the past, or that they are currently struggling with anything from stalking to abusive behavior.
Up until now, I thought the stalker was someone of at least average intelligence who was just selfish and misogynistic. Turns out, the type of person I've had to deal with is a dead ringer for a severe mental disorder. You always hear the term 'schizophrenic', but rarely have I seen it in action. What's more, they are letting their disease go unchecked, and harming another person (me) with their resulting carelessness.
So please, PLEASE people- if you are struggling with something like this do NOT underestimate it.
The officer was very concerned when I began to get into the details, and showed him some of the inappropriate writing that was made about me. He almost seemed a little chiding towards me for not addressing this sooner, because it can lead to very dangerous situations. Overall though, he was extremely sympathetic and encouraged me to get a TRO before pursuing a more permanent means of restraint against someone so out of touch. I'm very lucky in that I don't have to live anywhere near this person, and how that- in the event they ever attempted to make contact with me, I would have not only the law on my side but a large support system from my family, friends, and boyfriend. (Not to mention the self defense I am now sure to keep on my person, something the officer was relieved to hear but did emphasize how he hopes it never comes down to that) As it unsurprisingly turns out, mental illness or not you are still held accountable for breaking the law. And a person who is delusional is expected to follow the same rules as anyone else. You'd think it would be very simple to understand, accept, and abide by someone telling you 'leave me alone'- but clearly we were giving them too much credit.
Anyway, let me not make this about my situation.
If anything, let me use my situation as a means for hope to those of you who feel like you have no way out with people like this. You do, even if it seems hopeless. Keep your chin up, count your blessings (trust me, they're there), and don't let them drag you down. They'll keep trying, but you have some say in all of it. Even if it makes you feel awful, even if it gives you horrendous anxiety and frustration, they are just an outsider desperately wanting to get in. Wanting to get to you, or get you, whichever- and they are acting out because they can't reach you. And so long as you stand tall, they never will.
Ok folks, there's my mamabear rant for the night. Stay safe, take care of yourselves, and know that you're worth the help you may need.
P.S. A big THANK YOU to those of you who have been around supporting me through this! Your words of encouragement and sympathy do not go unappreciated. Especially the few of you who privately asked if I wanted you to 'take care of this guy'. I can't know for sure what you mean, but I have kept from giving out his account name- not because I don't think he deserves one hell of a lecture from anyone wanting to give it, but because he's fucking crazy and will probably only take the attention and make himself out to be some sort of celebrity or throw himself a pity party. Y'know the whole deal, abusive people pretending to be victims rather than own up to their crap. Ironically what he claims everyone else does to him, but that's denial for you. Point is- you guys are the BEST. And while I unfortunately can't say this is resolved, you can't fix crazy. So the best I can do is what I've resolved to do and that is to wash my hands of this whole mess. But before I finally do that, I did want to post a warning/encouragement for others dealing with stalking, harassment, abuse, or whatever other unwanted attention from someone.

Sorry I've been scarce, guys. The end of May was a downhill snowball that all started with my back injury having me constantly at the urgent care, to visiting Spain, to getting bronchitis (and accidentally giving it to Evan oops), to a week full of family and boyfriend's birthdays, to being back at work and starting Physical Therapy.
But there are highlights.
I finally bought the storage bins we needed for stuff to go in the attic and we hardcore cleaned the apartment, which is now (well, has been maintained) spotless. Having an organized place always helps us think better and stay more focused. It will also come into handy when we bust out our Halloween decorations when July rolls around. I'd do it sooner, but I don't want to start that project when I need to be heavily focusing on art for my commissioners and also while I'm wrapped up with all these hatdamn appointments.
I am finally back into working (after being gone to Spain for a week then sick for the week I got back), and while I expected to be sort of shunned for being gone so long- everyone was hella cool and were actually coming up to me chatting with me like I'm 'one of the guys'. It's weird, because I still feel so new and awkward- but it really gives you a much more comfortable and capable feel for your work environment when your coworkers are like friends. Super A++ cool beans.
I am OFFICIALLY FINISHED WITH ALL FWA SKETCHES. I'll be sending out messages with previews of the sketches for approval (for those who haven't been sent their sketch yet) that way I am free to knock those out.
There's something else that's huge, but I'm going to wait to mention that. Not sure if I want to open that door just yet but it's great news for me and Evan! <3
Anyway, I need to sleep before work. Evan is way yonder in the bed fussing at me to hurry over there since I haven't had much time with him with my best bud's birthday celebration lasting the last two days. I had hoped to work on responding to all the notes I got in the last two days but I took waaay too long writing that thing I thought I was going to announce but decided to save it for another day. Anxiety is funny like that.

CURRENT EVENTS
So that brings us to the whole clusterfuck that happened here and what that means now.
I'm about to dedicate my first day back in the states to cleaning up just about everything.
I can't even remember what all I had posted in my gallery that got wiped because it had not been archived, but I'll consider reuploading whatever is in my files on my tablet computer once I access that later today. For now I'm posting this update from the boyfriendo's desktop since it's much easier to type on this setup.
For now, before sleep, I'm going to go through my notes and respond to things I was unable to previously. I'm also going to update the commission queue to add the YCH that was bought, as I think that's the only thing that isn't accounted for on the existing list. Once that is updated I'll go about some other things I have to do offsite. Today I'll be caught up on the phone with doctors, insurance agents, etc. So that may eat up a lot of potential time for getting work done- I'll also want to unpack and get grocery shopping in seeing as Evan and I have been away from home for a week and the fridge is looking pretty sad.

PLAN: Work on traditional art during work days (before shift), work on digital art on off days/days with only appointments
My goal is to be working on art inbetween these things. I'm thinking that Wednesday will be a hardcore digital art day, whereas the days I'm working I'll probably focus on chipping away at FWA traditional work. This week is a little insane, what with all the birthdays and meetings and work packed in right after coming back from an international trip. So I'm hoping that the week after I'll truly be able to sit down and wrap these queues up, if not- at least make very big dents in them. Come Tuesday I should also have the next week's (or possible two) schedule so that I can map out artwork times around those days.

Despite all the chaos, I'm feeling at peace. I addressed something publicly that has been festering in my mind and making me rather nauseated to think about. I let it be known (again) that I do not want romantic attention/gestures/feelings from anyone other than my boyfriend Evan, nor do I want to be used by being called anyone else's girlfriend when I am in a very happy, committed relationship with Evan.
Unfortunately someone fantasized that my work, art, and writing is alluding to them in secret and suggesting that I care about them. This is not the case, the reality is that I draw what my commissioners ask me to draw and whatever personal art I draw is for me and me alone, not at all hinging on their interests or whatever else they imagined up. I am also the only one to thank for the business my art receives, as I alone was the one who developed my talent for a lifetime and posted it online- getting my own name out there. In time more and more people found me as I posted more art, and were so generous as to support my artwork. That's how 'popularity' works, not by some random nobody favoriting work and thinking the world is watching them with bated breath for what to find interesting. (not that I would remotely call myself popular, sidenote.)
A normal person would not think that such things had anything to do with them personally, but this person is clearly very lonely and desperate for somewhere they can belong or for some sense of importance. (I'd like to take a moment to compare their way of thinking- "if they didn't want to be stalked or have my interest, they shouldn't put out suggestive work that I feel is tailored to me" to the horribly twisted rape-excuse of "they were asking for it by what they were wearing". While this is not even on the same page as rape, that entitled, self-excusing way of thinking is very much the same)
It's no surprise that they give themselves such a pedestal though when it comes to my art, as they are so far gone they believe that big hit TV shows, movies, and pop culture icons are watching them for inspiration and use their 'ideas'. (What great ideas? I don't know.) It's as if the concept of 'coincidence' or just the obvious fact that there are billions of people in the world who all have repeating/similar ideas and tastes, doesn't exist in their mind. I could very well tell you the difference between sharing preferences in a world we all have to share and being outright used as an outlet for ideas - cue all the art theft issues I've been dealing with where others blatantly trace my work- that's what actually being used is.
They believe that people are watching them, often calling themselves a 'celebrity', they are so paranoid and oddly egotistical (not about their appearance, but rather some made-up grandeur idea of their 'vast importance') that they stretch imagination to actually think the people who hate them travel to visit them in person or physically stalk them. They even once met a random woman and immediately assumed it was my mother, despite the woman claiming she had a very young teenage daughter, while I am an adult woman. And of course, that's disregarding the absolute ludicrous idea that the mother of a person who hates them and wishes to be left alone by them would travel across country to speak to them. If I were that crazy and had their logic, I could point out any overweight man on the street and claim they were 'here in my town stalking me'.
The truth is, they are blocked and banned because I detest them. But sadly they are so wrapped up in their misinterpretations and delusions that they will never believe whatever fact is put out in front of them, because that is not the reality that they want to live in. They instead complicate their life and torture themselves by making up riddles and codes that aren't even there to begin with, getting involved in people's lives who want nothing to do with them. Looking for deeper meaning in the art people draw and connecting it to themselves. When in reality, it's not for them at all. It's just that simple.
Anyway, I could have not taken the time to write all that up but Evan and I have been talking about this. As my boyfriend, Evan is very angry that I've suffered because of this person's antics, but he suggested that I take one last moment before putting this all behind me to write out how unrealistic this person's way of thinking is- not to be ugly, but to potentially help them fix their life and perspective for future people they may meet. To 'give them answers' as they so often seem to be looking for them.
Because while I do hate this person, and ultimately want them to stop stalking my work (or at the very least, to stop falsely imagining that it has anything to do with them at all when it does not, the exception being posts like this where I ask them to leave me alone)- I do believe that there is good in everything. And that if this person can stop fantasizing over younger artist women online that block them and openly talk about hating them, they can focus his attention on finding someone who will actually care about them and they won't be so miserable anymore.
But I do hope they don't mistake this for any ounce of caring on my end. I don't have any mercy or second chances left for this person, which is saying a lot for me. I'm not proud that I hate them, as hate is never a thing to be proud of, but I am secure in the conclusion that I cannot hold out hope for them to respect me and leave me alone. Were they able, I may have been able to be on civil, neutral terms with them.
As it is, I'm done reading the disgusting romantic things they write about me. I used to check the writing now and then to document it as proof of unwanted romantic attention for a restraining order, (especially after I openly asked for it to stop months ago), but also in the hopes that they would have stopped so that I could stop hating them. But I've realized that this is beneath me, it is a waste of time to look for change with them. In an 'on the way out of the door' sort of gesture, I'm leaving this final bit of writing so that they may move on and find someone, because if they keep 'waiting to be with me' they are very much going to die alone. Because me wanting anything to do with them will never happen, much less any sort of relationship. And were I to ever see them anywhere near me physically, I would be calling the police immediately so as to be kept as far away from them as possible.
At this point, I have said everything that can possibly be said to them. Listed clearly what they've done that caused me to hate them, I've rejected their theories, asked to not be stalked and have my personal and commission work interpreted to their own personal gain, and ultimately- to be left alone. There's really nothing left to say. Some people would tell me that they don't deserve this clarity, but I have nothing to lose by wrapping up three years of feeling so anxious from their stalking and fantasies that I wanted to stop posting art online altogether.
I'm sure they'll go against my wishes and continue to creep on a younger girl they find attractive just because "they deserve a gf for all their 'hard work' ", but I'm not going to keep an eye out for their ranting anymore. I thought it would be uncomfortable, knowing I'm being written about openly but not knowing what exactly was being said- yet I feel free when I think about no longer involving myself. Because as soon as I stop giving a hoot and acknowledging the writing, they cease to exist- and will quite literally drift away into being just a bad memory from a disturbing time period.
Besides, if I'm asking them to stop stalking me, I should very well do the same.

The ♥boyfriend♥ and I are off to Spain in the next few hours!
I have been going back and forth with the idea of bringing my laptop with me, but I really think I'm not going to have any time to work. And I also don't know what the wifi situation is going to be like, so to avoid dragging this thing around I'll just get back to commissions when I return on Sunday.
I'm also dealing with my paraspinal muscle spasm back pain full-force after we realized my current prescription is making me develop stomach ulcers (meaning I'm also dealing with upper abdominal pain now). Which means the doctor took me off of those pills, stuck a needle in my back, and told me to tough it out until the 23rd.
So methinks working in a strange place in pain isn't the best idea for quality work.
It may be after Monday until I start updating- I am supposed to be going back to urgent care and getting an MRI done as well as beginning physical therapy. No appointments are in stone yet so they may not be Monday, but we'll see!
It's about to be a crazy busy end of the month. When I come back from Spain, aside from all the medical stuff and working, that week is my Papa's birthday, then my little brother's birthday, then Evan's birthday. And father's day is right around the corner after that-- hooo'boy
ANYWAY Evan and I will see you all later! I'll definitely be seeing if I can check in while I'm there, but it all depends on the way things work out.

But in the long term, the unwanted obsession of one deficient person is not a high price to pay for all the contrasting wonderful experiences I've had meeting my watchers. Hey angelfaces, it's time for an update!
Hot damn I hate typing on this keyboard so much, we're gonna see how many typos I can rack up from these keys being slightly off center FFFFFUCK
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING
After coming home from FWA I did have to work, so that's thrown a wrench into things and I clearly have to work around that. However, I did make it a point to at least respond to all notes on here that had built up over the weekend after I got off of work today. Furthermore, I've gone through all the commission forms from FWA and organized them by commission type. I then went on to confirm paypal payments with each corresponding username to doublecheck that everything was all gravy and I could get these in the works, cleaned up the entire art room and art table to make room for working on all these things, AND FINALLY made a list of commissions that need me to reach out to the commissioner(s) to get either refs, or more information.
So while no real 'work' was done today, it's all lined up to be started tomorrow after my shift. So I'll be managing WIP approval texts, ref requests, and actually-- Lord willing, do some real dingdang work finally.
So moving on from just FWA stuff, a couple of things are in the works. And by a couple, I mean a couple thousand.
Lets play 'LA makes yet another list that only partly applies to us or this site mostly because her life is nothing but lists and she literally cannot survive or remember a fricklefrackle thing without them okgo-'

AND IN CONFUSION CONCLUSION
FWA was neat! It was sad not getting some of our art group there this year like previous years, but they were drunkenly with us in spirit, chanting 'Ken Masters' and eating all the burgers. I also did not get to see/spend time with some of the people I was wanting to who were there, but ya can't go back and change it so that's a year lost and I'll have to get over it. What time I missed out on some people was filled with tons of group draws, hangouts, laughing at horrible movies, great food, and too many memes.
Dealer's den was absolutely fantastic with 
! I have to say I'm utterly spoiled and I cannot go back to Artist's Alley again after that experience. I saw a ton of amazing and sweet people, had the honor of getting to do business with them, and enjoyed hanging out with the art group that I only see once a year!
Hell, lets call some folks out.

AAAHHHH HEY DUDES.
Life's been busy for Evan and I. We have two of our three pets in and out of the vet and together they get three types of meds three times a day- so that kinda dominates our schedule. I also got a side job to give us peace of mind each month so we can afford our expenses without me having to literally wring inspiration out of my burnt-out self for rent and bills.
The job was only supposed to be part time but (and I appreciate the generosity but I'm going to ask to have this altered) they are giving me forty hours off the bat. It's a great job and the pay is crazy high over minimum wage, but in the month I've been working there I haven't had any time to balance my life or art- so I have to talk to my managers about reducing my hours back to part time.
Furthermore, Evan and I have gotten into three wrecks in one month- all of which were doofus goon ladies in SUV's who were texting or just not paying attention and wound up slamming into my car. It's a huge pain in the ass, and kind of unbelievable, but none of the accidents are our fault so their insurances are taking care of each respective damage.
And the car is totally driveavle, it's just scratched up. My poor dragonwagon ;m;
Literally by the third wreck I hopped out of the drivers seat like a fuckin' lawyer and was rushing the lady who had backed into my passenger door into getting her information out as I called in a police dispatch and took pictures of the damages and car positions. I'm usually all laughs and smiles but holy smokes I was deadpan by then. Gettin reeeeaaall sick of idiots.
We also went to Savannah during St. Pats setup, just for a quick break from home and work.

OKAY GUYS TIME FOR THAT UPDATE I KEPT TALKIN' ABOUT.
Holy smokes these last few weeks have just flown by. Pretty much since the end of January has been a whirlwind on my end.
I actually just deleted a ton of paragraphs about my personal life (good and not so good stuff) BECAUSE FRANKLY I DON'T FEEL LIKE THAT'S IMPORTANT HERE?!
So anyway, I've been dealing with a year's worth of ups and downs in like- a months time. 2016 is being a bit of a sourpatch kid. Evan and I are doing pretty good though, and all in all I can't complain! Because things haven't really been bad, but it's really weird how much is changing all around us and it feels like up until now we've been kinda lazing around at a crawl and now we're running top speed to start making real plans and big life decisions hooah. It's all falling into place though, so we're happy.
ART STUFF ★ So as of right now, all current commissions on the queue have been traditionally sketched up (old news), placed into their files, and are ready to be drawn over.
★ All notes are being answered right now (will probably be sent out in the next half hour after posting this)
★ I'm thinking on spending tonight (since there's so little time left in 'tonight') doodling on personal files and dive into commission work tomorrow. If not, I may have a commission or two to upload tonight, but seeing as it's been a pretty bland and off-day, I don't want to put out any work for others that isn't top quality.
★ According to the call back I got, 'go-day' is officially March 2nd. I'm looking to get all commissions done between now and then, just as an official personal deadline.
★ Speaking of, for anyone interested- commissions are still open! But I'll advertise that in a better way once I announce Chibi style openings, and I won't be announcing those before I get the ball rolling on these existing commissions. That'll happen within the week though- so watchout!
★ I'm thinking I may open the thigh-up St. Patrick's Day YCH themes (there will be ONLY 6) closer to March 1st than the originally stated March 10th.
★ Traditional badge pre-orders will be announced after March 2nd
★ There's literally like a dozen other things I desperately want to announce art-wise and I'm really excited about them, but I just found out that they may not be able to happen. I'm waiting to hear back, and it may take up to a week. If a week goes by and I haven't gotten a 'no' or a 'yes' I'll be meeting with them to figure out the final answer. I really really hope it's yes! I'll honestly be pretty devastated if this can't happen this year. But a lot has shifted in my life and I'm having to make hard decisions like this, so we'll just have to see. /HUGE BREATH

Ok guys here after what feels like an eternity with some updates!
So far ALL commissions have been sketched up!
Unfortunately there's been a lot going on outside of the Internet that's required my immediate attention. Nothing bad! Just things like family obligations, this city-wide issue that affected just about everyone, prepping for travel, being sickish, my Valentine getting sick and going to the vet for the first time (but these shots are doing wonders for her and she's really perked up so I'm hoping this means she's beat this little respiratory hiccup), planning Valentine's Day for my boyfriend Evan, and this HUGE thing that's been in the works. Evan is supporting my decision to get serious about my future. We already know that we are in this thing together for the long haul (or in more sappy terms, 'forever awwww'), but being together is about more than just the love aspect.
I want to be able to pull my own weight and provide as much as he does for us financially CONSISTENTLY, so it's felt like a year of researching and meeting with people and planning and career ideas, etc. Even though it hasn't even been two weeks.
I do have one AMAZING opportunity offered to me, it's not in stone yet, but I'm so happy to be considered and if I can get in with that it will cause me to be a whole hell of a lot more focused and driven I think.

ღ I have a few new offers/accepted comms that need to be responded to, put down in the notebook, and listed on the queue, but that will be done once I get back home from picking up some art supplies.
ღ Today I'll be focusing on posting those Valentine YCH's that were bought, as well as one of the comms in the queue that is a Valentine's gift. Of course I'll be working to get as much done as possible, but those are at the top of the list because obviously tomorrow is Valentine's day!
ღ I'll be taking Valentine's Day OFF so that I can spend it with my boyfriend! Evan and I don't have any strict V-day plans because we're chill af, but we'll probably go play some sports, have a picnic, maybe see DeadPool, and then watch the Walking Dead premier with my family. They normally aren't receptive to any of my past boyfriends (all like, two of 'em) but they love the hell out of Evan, it's so adorable.
ღ Since I may get the call Monday, work may be slow. But if I get the call, and we make some progress, I may have a schedule mapped out and be able to throw everything I've got into working on art inbetween those set meetings.
ღ Unfortunately due to making sure I had Evan's Valentine's stuff all drawn up, and everything else that's sucked up my time outside of art, I wasn't able to put out any more Valentine's YCH's. HOWEVER, I do have a solid plan for some St. Patrick's Day YCHs. They won't be mini's like the original sets, but rather thigh-up regular style ones. I'd say more, but I want it to be a surprise.

HEY GUYS,
I could write you a novel of details but I'll keep it extremely simple. One, for your benefit and two, because I'm so weak at this point- just holding up my phone to type this is making my hands shake pretty hard. I want to preface these details by letting you all know I'm ok, just extremely exhausted from stressing. Evan has been taking care of me so I'm definitely not alone in this and I think I just need a solid nights sleep so I can pick up on commission openings tomorrow, January 30th.

*I'm going to start dividing the 'art year' into quarters. The quarters won't be the same length, and will mostly revolve around holiday/seasonal themes that I associate with each month.
This doesn't mean much for you all other than seeing some new fancy words being tossed around, but it's going to be one of many new means I'm implementing that will help me stay more organized and disciplined with my time management and art production.

Commissions aren't ready for any official openings yet, but I have the soft opening date for those pending as well as announcements for several other things that will be available now/soon.
So here's some upcoming stuff/these mini-commissions, in order of most recent to furthest away:
A V A I L A B L E - N O W INKED HEADSHOT SKETCHES[/center] These are what you see here. I've never done anything like this before, but I decided it would be a good way for me to offer some affordable, super quick doodles for people who may want them!
-These will be done before/on FRIDAY, JANUARY 15TH. Therefore they are in the 'same day/24hour' commission category.
-I'm offering these because my pen-work is being vastly underused next to digital work now, and because I'm so quick with these I can offer them as the cheapest commission I've given out to date. (Fast, affordable, and fun for me- it's a win win win!)
-I'm currently estimating that I will have a limit on these. You can buy as many as you like, but I am looking (for time limitations) to only offer so much as FIVE pages like this.
That breaks down to: Five headshots per page, at five pages would mean 25 total headshots.
-BECAUSE YOUR HEADSHOT IS DRAWN ON A SHARED PAGE WITH FOUR OTHER HEADSHOTS, THESE WILL NOT BE MAILED OUT. However you are more than welcome to upload the full page or a cropped version should you prefer that, to your own gallery(ies).

Well guys for one dumb reason after another, it looks like this panda missed 'Christmas themed commissions'. Normally I really only do seasonal themes for Halloween and Christmas-- But I wouldn't feel right not doing something for this special holiday comin' up.
And I don't just mean for couples, we all know that Valentine's day can be about whatever you want it to be. Flowers, love, pretty frilly sparkly things, an obscene amount of discount candy, popping heart-shaped balloons like the stone-cold rebel you are, the possibilities are endless!
So I'm thinking that I'll be doing my very first 'YCH' themes (In Valentine's style)! OR maybe I'll do a similar theme like I did in autumn where you could get a headshot of your character with a Halloween-themed 'mood bubble'. (Which naturally would have your choice of Valentine's themed iconography)
We'll see closer to the date, but if anyone's interested that will go up around the same time as the badge pre-orders, early February!
