Register Today at IPAHW!
Posted 6 years agoGood Morning, Puppies and Peoples!
IPAHW planning is in its final stages. Education is set. Keynote is set. Activities are OFF THE RAILS.
We wanted to send everyone a couple of quick reminders:
First, Early-Bird registration ends on May 31st. Prices will increase $10 on June 1st, so grab your registrations today!
Second, a reminder that we are reserving the entire hotel for IPAHW. While this gives us GREAT flexibility (Pool parties, play parties, and lesser clothing restrictions), it also means that the hotel had to turn off their online scheduling. In order to book at the host hotel (Waterfront Hotel and Conferencing Center), you need to call them at 317-299-8400 and give them the code "IPAHW2019" to book at the group rate of $89/night. The hotel is over 70% booked, so I would recommend that you call soon!!

ATTN Pups and Handlers: IPAHW Weekend website is Launched!
Posted 9 years agoBARK!!! BARK!!!
Exciting Announcement!
On behalf of the IPC/IPTC board (informally International Puppy and Handler Weekend), I am super pleased to announce that our new website is up and running. http://IPAHW.com !!!
Early registration is available at this point. The boards worked harder than you can imagine to try to come up with amazing events, a great contest, and a competitive price. We elected to keep things as inexpensive as possible, so that as many pups and Handlers will have the opportunity to make it to IPAHW 2017. This is more than just the contests: this is a weekend of world-class puppy workshops with new activities galore (for pups and Handlers, alike). It has been our goal to have something for the pups to do at all times, and I think we've done it.
Also keep in mind, that there are volunteer opportunities available as well as a few workshop spots open. Both come with comped registration.
We are SO excited to see this weekend starting to come fruition. Come see history being made!
Thanks,
Pup Kona (aka Lace), IPTC Associate Producer
past IPTC Internatinoal puppy and NW Puppy 2015

My goal was to reach out to pups and handlers from all over the world, one being a trip to Europe to chat with others in the community. I wanted the opportunity to learn from each other and see how things differ and are similar between countries. I happily was able to make the trip over the last couple of weeks which was an amazing trip.
Check out my photos in the link above!!
Below is a recap of my travels:
Post-Europe Recap
Honestly words cannot describe how unbelievably amazing and incredible this trip was. Like wow!!!!!!
London was nothing short than amazing. My good friend, Michael Garnett, was kind enough to let myself and Justin stay at his flat and be our tour guide for the weekend. Being that he is a photographer by trade, he knew of a lot of amazing places to see and tons of facts about them. It made for an awesome tour!! Pup Brock went out of his way and arranged Puppies, Pizza, and Park day with the local puppy group in London. We had an absolutely pawesome time, filled with lots of romping around, pupping out and great conversation. Over 20+ attended the event, so it was really great to meet and chat with so many locals :).
Next on our tour was Brussels and Liège in Belgium. We were only able to stay in very briefly in Brussels during our stop, since we had to make it to Liège, but the city was beautiful. Liège, architecturally, was really something to behold. Throughout the city, you could see a plethora of structures and buildings, depicting old European style architecture, some dating back as far as 850 years. There was even an 800 year old church that we visited, where we climbed all the way up the bell tower to get an aerial view of the city. Faradrim and Sacha were our awesome and gracious hosts for the visit. I had a blast pupping out over at their place as well as taking pics around the city and waving to the locals in our puppy hoods.
After a few days, we packed our bags and made our next stop to Koln and Essen in Germany. In Koln, we stayed at a hotel and took some time to relax a bit and do a little bit of night touring around the area we were staying at. In the morning, we were greeted by my good friend Baldur, who trained down from Essen to come show us around Koln, his hometown. Koln was a city filled with a mixture of modern and older architecture. We got to walk around the city, checking out some historical sites like the breathtaking Cologne Cathedral, which started construction in 1248. In Essen, I was so happy to spend a day catching up with my furry friends, Baldur and Asgra. They were gracious enough to let us stay at their place and show us around the city. It was a great opportunity to stroll, relax and spend time with great friends. Also their bio-dog Benito is so cute and huggable :D.
From there, Justin and I said our farewells, jumped back on the Eurorail, and headed to Amsterdam for EuroPride. Amsterdam…what can I say other than I was blown away by the city. The perfect homage of modern and historical architecture, amazing structures and designs, canals at every turn with people boating along them, seas of cyclists, and a vibrate, lively atmosphere that makes you want to get up and go. EuroPride did not disappoint! Their pride was so unique and fun. There were over 1.6 million people in the city and the entire parade was done on boat floats that went along the canals. We got together with a bunch of puppies and Handlers and pupped out all around the city. Everyone loved us and it was a blast participating in pride and the festivities in our own way. The Dutch National Television station even swept their cameras away from the parade to focus on our group, which was awesome! Some other fun and engaging events we got to do was the Titleholder meet and greet at Shakespeare Club and Invasion Fetish Party. Both offered great opportunities to chat about the communities, meet others from around EU, and have fun! Our hosts for the weekend were Max and Kriszly, two people I love so much. It was amazing getting the chance to spend time with them both. Also, it was fun being a mischievous puppy with my red puppy bro, especially when pupping out around their place lol ;3.
This trip was inspiring, remarkable and incredible. Words really can’t describe how thankful I am for everyone who made this trip such an impactful and unforgettable experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. This trip meant a lot to me and I hope you all enjoyed mine and Justin’s company just as much as we enjoyed yours. I felt I was able to make a difference and impact during my trip and I hope you all feel the same.
Sir Justin, special thank you to you for everything you have done for me. You are a loving and supportive Handler, always there to lend a hand when needed. Thank you for coming along this journey with me to make a difference, reach out to others, and help make my goals a reality. *licks and nuzzles*

ATTN: EUROPEAN FURRIES and PUPS - Visiting EU, Plz Read
Posted 9 years agoHey everyone! ^ ^ *wags*
Lace here, Also known as Roan. In the Puppy community, I am known as Pup Kona (https://www.facebook.com/pup.kona)
I am the current IPTC International Puppy 2015 - Pup Kona. Myself and Justin StClair (past IPTC International Trainer 2014 and author of the puppy play book “Bark), will be traveling to Europe this summer during the month of July/Aug.
The reason for our trip is to visit the European communities and meet up with puppies and pup groups. We want to really have pawesome discussions about the European puppy as opposed to what we see in the US. We really want the opportunity to share our passion and to see what goes on in other pup and Handler groups.
We would love to also make those personal connections, build friendships, and share in the love and fun that puppy play has to offer. Its great being able to meet up and share in each other’s experiences, perspectives, and insight in puppy play while having a blast, hanging out and pupping out together! :)
We love to do something with the local pup groups! Some examples can be a puppy meet and greet in our local area, a puppy class/panel, attend/participate in a mosh and/or gathering, etc... We are up to any ideas and suggestions!
We will be landing in London at LHR airport on Friday July 29th, 2016 in the morning. We plan on staying in London for the weekend. We then will be traveling via rail across Europe till our final destination in Amsterdam where we will be there for Pride with Kriszly de Hond. We are very flexible and really would love your help in getting plans/together during the week we are there.
If you are capable of helping to organize something like this or get something together in general (or know someone who can), please let us know. *licks and nuzzles* ^ ^

Love goes out to Orlando Community
Posted 9 years agoIt is devastating to wake up to and hear about the horrific news of the attack in Orlando, FL. A big part of my journey in the community was when I was living in Jacksonville and Orlando, FL. I have many amazing memories from my time there and to hear this act befall our community truly makes my heart heavy. Its a terrifying feeling going online and texting people, seeing if they are not hurt.
In 2016, we should be living in a world where everyone, no matter what walk of life, should be celebrated and loved. Acts like these should not be happening and it saddens me.
My love, thoughts and prayers go out to the Orlando community, friends and family.
I urge everyone to reach out to each other and the community as a whole. Hold each other close and share the love and #OneLoveOnePack mentality with all.

PLEASE remember that BLFC is a Family Friendly event. The organizers have been asked about what attire is acceptable and here is the ruling:
- The Code of conduct for both the hotel and BLFC requires shirts, at least shorts and shoes in public spaces
- Hoods and Collars are ok
- Leashes and Mitts are not ok and any other fetish gear could possibly fall under “unacceptably reveling attire” on a case by case basis.
