So, some details regarding my current situation and why my updates have been so slow now that my current batch is near completion.

For the better part of 12 years I have been making commissions as my main source of income. It's been a good job and I've always been able to rely on people wanting to work with me for which I am eternally grateful. However some recent happenings in my life has made it very difficult to draw as frequently as I used to.

I recently fell chronically ill due to a surgery complication I had 14 years ago where the recovery period went poorly. I now have lifelong health complications that could result in the amputation of my right lower leg. It's been a lot to wrap my head around.

I need painkillers and a lot of rest to manage the constant pain, I'm chasing other options but the healthcare system has proven rather difficult to get into contact with since the pandemic. The current diagnosis seems to be severe damage to the cartilage in and above my heel which is causing a lot of nasty pain.

Due to this I've decided to change my gameplan and focus on recovery and a more stable job option, hence my previous journal mentioning a study I'll be working on.

I will still draw and I will still take on commissions, but I will be slower than people were used to before. My current batch of customers have been incredibly patient and understanding for which I am grateful, and I hope people will offer the same understanding in the future if they decide they want to hire my services as an artist.

Hello, I will be completing my current batch by the end of next week. After this I will no longer be opening for commissions regularly due to my shifting focus on completing my Uni course and doctorate.

I may take on some work inbetween and I will update here with personal art as well but I can't say with certainty when my next opening will be. I will try to keep you updated if I plan to open in advance so people can get a slot if they so desire.
I might also be found at conventions selling my art if people still want my work, both traditional and digital. If I plan on going I will post here in advance!

Hello, I'm here with a small life update. TLDR version is I'm off to start a study and will have less room for commissions once I start next year.

Current batch will be completed as usual.

I'm going for a uni and will be focussing on biology. While art and commissions have been a very welcome way to pay the bills I still heavily rely on my partner and I would like that to change. I will take on some work during all of this as well but it won't be bigger batches like usual. Personal art will also still be posted here ofcourse.

I will be starting next year once I have all my certification in order.

Hello, as I mentioned in the previous journal I caught Covid.
I've since been rather sick but it's no more than a sore throat and some coughing now.
I feel like I am able to return to my work without issue so I'll be posting art again very soon!

Welp, it took over 3 years but Covid got us.
I'm doing fine right now, I've only got a clogged nose but I'll be keeping an eye on my health as time progresses.
Commission delivery and updates remain unchanged as of now, I will keep everyone posted.

Payment goes through paypal, I will pick commissions that suit my style/preference.
Should your application be denied please feel free to reapply on next opening, I will prioritize people that have made multiple applications for a commission so everyone gets a chance!
