Lately I've been getting a lot of notes/comments from artists asking me to commission them.

Folks, please don't do this. Nobody likes a door-to-door salesman; it's annoying. If I want to buy a commission, I'll pick out and approach the artist myself. Not sure why this has started happening, but I wanted to clear things up.

I had surgery to remove my tonsils this past Tuesday, and I'm supposed to start feeling like a human being again by next Friday. The doctors warned me that the procedure is quite painful for an adult, but I still wasn't expecting this. It is far worse then impacted wisdom teeth, appendectomy, or migraines (the other painful things I've had to deal with in life). I seriously can't think of much of anything besides pain, and I can't seem to sleep more then an hour at a time ;_; I have a huge oxycodone prescription, but mostly it just makes me fuzzy and nauseous.

So does anyone have anything entertaining or fun or cute I can look at in the meantime? D:

I finally joined Tumblr xD I had been resisting because I have so damn many sites to update as it is, but what can I say? It looks fun. I think I'll use it to post random doodles and thought and other stuff. I'm houndofloki there!

My birthday is this Saturday (April 7th) and I'm turning 27. Twenty seven. Two...seven. God, that feels so OLD to me.

This week should last forever so I can just stay 26.

I'm drawing a couple of completely random characters right now, just because I wanted to play around with steampunk fashion and draw some outfits.

After spending way too much time looking at way too many photos, I have come to the conclusion that steampunk simply seems to be more awesome-looking on females then it is on males. The girls' outfits come out looking all interesting and sexy and scene-setting! The guys just look like either Abraham Lincoln or Nathan Drake fell into a bin full of accessories and barely managed to escape with his life.

Hello, FA!

Not that I upload super-frequently anyway, but I just wanted to drop a note here and let you guys know that I probably won't be posting any new art for a bit. The desktop computer that runs my scanner and my photoshop is down for the count, so I need to either get a new desktop or else a mac version of an art program so I can color on my laptop.

I'm leaning towards getting a coloring program on my macbook, because it's kind of silly to have a whole separate desktop computer when that's really all I use it for. That I don't really like PC's much anyway. Not trying to start WW3 or anything, but this is the second PC desktop to crash and burn since I've have this Macbook laptop x.x D'oh!

Either way -- I'll let you know when I have a new setup. I owe a couple of trades and I'm going to be contacting the people I owe them to ask whether you'd rather have colored-pencil coloring, which I'm not honestly as good at, or wait a bit for CG.

Loki has an in-depth "story", but I'm still writing it. I don't plan on uploading it to FA or really doing anything with it, but I'm enjoying writing it. Enough not to spoil it by summarizing it here xD

We're both taken - but the men we are taken by could hardly be more different

I don't let random people "pair" with any of my characters, and Adrian doesn't have characters.
