So I have a surprise for you all, at least all of you going to Indy Fur con next month. I will be releasing a one shot limited furry short that will be handed out only at the con. It also will be paired with some pretty neat art and I can't wait to catch you all there.

Real quick an update, I've recently been having a hard time, I don't always even have access to internet. I'm not dead, I am starting to get back into the habit of writing again. I'm also working on fursuits that are due very soon. I hope to come back and be more active soon. For now, have a book review.


Daughter of the Bright Moon by Lynn Abbey



This novel was published in 1979, and Lynn Abbey’s first published work. It was also nominated for the “Locus Award” for Best Fantasy Novel.

In a world where men rule and women are expected to be just that, ladies, Rifkind won her freedom, her war-horse, and her own sword. She is a healer who has been graced by the power of her moon goddess. Her destiny well decided for her, she must travel, with her only trusted friend Turin her war-horse, to a new world were and evil sorcerer controls the land.

I’ll try to keep my actual review on this short. It will as always have minimal spoilers if any at all and will be one hundred percent my own opinions. To start off, I will say that I greatly enjoyed this book. It took me about a week to finish and I enjoyed every moment of it. Even to the point where I was sneaking in a few pages even while on the bus on my way to my day job.

I’m going to start off with my biggest gripes about the book, and while I do so, I must keep in mind how old this one is. Yeah sure forty years doesn’t sound like a long time, but it is for a book, and how they have evolved sense then. Some of the writing was a bit confusing, lacking some words that would have been in newer books. A few places where I found myself going back to get the full picture of things and set ups. The battle’s were especially this way for me. I also felt it lacking a bit more background information that I would have personally preferred. It speaks of events that were normal for this woman’s tribe but yet they meant little to be because I felt like I was missing why they were important to her.

Now let’s move on to the things I enjoyed about it, and why you should really read this one. First off, the leading lady is amazing. Far from flawless but to headstrong to need any man. Speaking of, a bit of a spoiler here, I was so happy to see the two main characters stay friends and not hook up. Truly that in itself is an amazing point. Another aspect that truly made me enjoy this book was the research put into the main secondary character, Turin, the War-horse. Lynn made a world that was so well thought out that you understood how the powers worked within it. I always appreciate that.


While it may be a bit harder to find, for sure snag yourself a copy. Great Characters, kick ass woman who can hold her own, and a beautiful world to set it all in.

whelp, some of you might wonder why I'm never here, it's simple. I'm furry trash. but kinda not really. I've been working on projects and have been working hard at my normal people job, but as far as "furry" stuff goes. Nope, haven't had time. So I've been thinking long and hard and I'm just going to say to hell with it, and post non-furry stuff here. It might anger some, but I still feel like I'm still a furry and while the content might not be, it's still supporting one. So there, I put logic to it. Now back I go to working.

-lmfao- I've been just about dead. XD We moved a few months back and it took us a bit to get the house back together. So what have I done writing wise... not a darn thing. haha. But I do have some plans to get more out to you guys, as well as more published work. What I need from you guys, to continue your amazing support. Read things, tell me what you enjoy and keep pushing me to keep putting content out. Now I won't put a upload scheduled in stone but I will be starting to post a series here, 1 chapter ever other week kind of thing, and a few min smut shorts a week. Want more sooner? I am accepting tips for my work, anything does help but $10+ will get a chapter out 1 week earlier. (PM me for my paypal) So that could easily get chapters out every week. When one story comes to an end, we can start another adventure.

Roughly 5 years ago now the most amazing thing happened. I took a trip, one to ease my mind and what I got from it was mind blowing. 5 years ago after my mom was diagnosed with cancer and my at the time girlfriend had forgotten to talk to me for almost a week, I made a crazy decision to take a trip to visit a new friend out in Colorado. Come to find out that friend would change my life forever. That day I found out there is such a thing as soul mates. The most amazing girl welcomed me into her heart, and I nestled in and never left.

Today however I want to thank her for all the amazing memories, and for loving me every single day. Not once in five years have we ever gone to bed mad at one another. Not once have we had to take a break. It has been nothing short of amazing. It's just hard to believe this is the last. I'm almost sad to see the run we had end, it's so bitter sweet, but at the same time I couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather take this next adventure with.

While the love we have hasn't died, we have chosen to bring another one into our lives and while this means the end of us, it brings a brighter future to a family. I love you so much Calico, I love with with more than just my heart and soul. You took me from a very dark place in life and you filled it full of laughter and amazing memories. You'll never know how much some of the silly ones really mean to me, and how much they stick in my heart.

Not a day goes by that I'm not happy that I took that trip. Everyone swore I was crazy, and maybe I was, but it made every day sense so much better. Now I shall raise a glass to us, and shed a tear because yes, this is "our" last anniversary. I will miss parts of it for sure, but with you at my side I am more than happy to welcome this new love into our lives. She has already become so special to us both, while we each still adore each other. I can't wait to see what memories the future brings, because ever sense day one, I have known you forever, and forever in my heart you will stay, no matter what the world throws at us, I know we can take it.

To my newest life partner, I love you so much and while this is the end of something that meant the world to me, it dies only to bring in a new reign. I can't wait to start our life as a family and see what we are capable of conquering. Next year, on our new anniversary, where we will start the count all over again, I will write my feelings down again in more detail and you will be very much a part of this. I love you princess, you fill in all the little gaps of my life and for the first time, I feel complete. It's a feeling I am more than happy to savor.
