Day 8: Life's blessings
General | Posted 11 years agoToday's journal is going to be a bit shorter because I want to hear back from you guys. What things or people has life blessed you with? Is it a person in your life, an object, or maybe an experience or skill. What makes you grateful to live every single day? As you go about your day, think about all those things and take a moment to smile. Not enough people do this. A simple thing like counting your blessings is the opening to a much better day.

Day 6: Role Models
General | Posted 11 years agoTell me, who is your role model? Your mother, your father, a sibling, an uncle or aunt? Maybe it's a friend, a boss or, a celebrity? Having a role model can be a great way to help reach your goals. It doesn't matter if it's possible to talk to them or not, you can always model yourself after them. My role model is my best friend Blue. He has always been there for me and is kind to everyone, even if they don't deserve it. He's a geek and loves to roleplay. He is exactly who I want to be. So if he ever happens to read this; Thank you. You've changed my life in so many ways. I know I'm a bit stupid sometimes but if it weren't for you, I wouldn't be here today. So to everyone reading, think about your role model today. What would they do?

Who's awesome? This question has alot of different answer. The Beatles are awesome, Coldplay is awesome and Leonardo Dicaprio is awesome. Kanye West is not awesome nor is Kim Kardashian. But do you want to know the real answer to this question? You're awesome. Yes you. The furry sitting behind the computer. The artist or the author looking at this said journal. You're awesome. But truth be told, you can't be awesome unless you believe you're awesome. So go out into the big scary world, with your fluffy ears and tail, and declare how awesome you are. You deserve it.

I decided to start my daily motivational/inspirational journal today. The reason I chose this picture is because humans suck. They really do. Not only do we destroy other species but we destroy our own. We slaughter others for believing in another religion and bully other students because they chose to wear a tail or because they aren't superficial. But you know what? Just like that owl, we have to get up, shake ourselves dry and carry on with our lives. That one idiot with the hose can't ruin our lives. Maybe our day but not our lives. So to all of you that have gotten sprayed with the hose, it'll be okay. Whether you shake it off or the sun does it for you, some way or another you'll dry off. Just hang in there. :)
