Life Update - Positive News + Updates!
General | Posted 5 years agoWhere should I start .. Actually, 2020 was supposed to be a great year, then a lot turned out differently than expected.
I do not want to go into any further detail now, as I had written enough about the incident. But I would like to share some news.
The most important thing: The buyer who never received his package has now received a full refund!
I handed the remaining amount over to a lawyer on Friday, who will pass it on as a trustee.
So I don't need to worry anymore that a fraud complaint will ruin my future.
Not everything has been clarified at the moment, but things are definitely looking better than they were a few weeks ago.
As many had noticed, my fursuits were offered for sale, but the sale never happened!
Three of my suits are currently pawned and stored safely at friends places, only one is completely sold.
Some friends have even supported me with a donation, a total of almost 600 €,
which I really appreciate in the current time when many are worried about their job and the future.
Thank you so much! 🤗
I paid the remaining sum that was still missing with the help of a personal loan now.
Now I'm going to focus on the lawsuit to get the money back, which the insurance still owes me.
But so much for the financial part, now for what I actually wanted to say. And that's just: Thank you! ❤️
I never thought that I know so many people who I could really call friends!
There were many who wrote to me after my journal, be it to offer help or just to write me a few words of encouragement.
Some have said that if I leave they will not accept it. Thanks for that, I would probably tell it friends the same way!
As last thing I have to mention something else at this point..
A few knew about it, but for many years I was thinking of my first fursuit, which I got just before the EF17.
Since a few adjustments still had to be made, it stayed at home at the time, then it was destroyed before I could even take it to an event.
Two good friends first created a new drawing of it, and a short time later it was clear that it will be made again as a fursuit. Many thanks for the loving work on Arvin at this point!
And then there was Aotora, who decided to be the big brother for “Phobos” in the future and so “Deimos” was created. Thank you for the long phone calls, you listened to me and told me that everything will be fine. Thank you for convincing me to keep going. I think a lot would have turned out differently without our conversations.
To come to an end.
I haven't written much in public for a while, but I'm fine so far and I'm grateful to have so many great friends!
Thank you all! ❤️
(And just to prevent speculations. Anyone who has ever ordered a fursuit knows that you don't just buy it spontanously. In this case, both suits were planned and work in progress at the beginning of the year and almost finished before all the problems were foreseeable. To support me, Aotora paid the shipping costs that still had to be paid.)

Hard times, but things change.. (read latest journal)
General | Posted 5 years agoI don't know where to start, since it is a difficult situation..
But some of you, who know me for many years, know that i went through quite some shit in the last decade. It started when during EF17 my apartment was destroyed by a fire. Me being young and without much experience, didn't have any insurance, so it left me with thousands of debts.
Since then i paid off quite a big amount. Over all the years i struggled with depression, sometimes more and sometimes less. I was in psychiatric care, getting different medication and even had to stay in a psychiatric hospital twice, when the bad thoughts in my head got out of control. But i always tried to get through it, finished a three years apprenticeship as valedictorian and paid off a big amount of the debts. Everything i achieved during this time made me quite happy, but it sure was difficult. If you ever wondered why you never see me smile, that's why..
But now i honestly give up. I just can't stand everything anymore. There was another setback recently and it's too much. I did not get much sleep for like two weeks now. Well, let's keep it short. I created a fundraiser some days ago, but didn't have the guts to share it yet, also to avoid trouble. But it explains the situation pretty well:
GoFundMe
Why did i not share it? Well, i tried to get a loan to cover the refund. But in the current situation it's basically impossible. And let's be honest, i still have my suits. And people will probably tell me to sell these. Yes, they are paid and my property. I saved up the money for them from the minimum amount of money, law allowed me to keep. And since I wasn't allowed to have a car or any "normal" valuable things like jewelry, i got them. They mean a lot to me and it breaks my heart to sell them, but i think it's time to let them go.
The buyer from the parcel which got lost (as you can read in the link) started a lawsuit against me, assuming that i took the damage compensation. And since i'm currently in further education to become a fund manager, it would destroy my chance to get accepted for my new job, if I have any convictions.
Let's keep it short, if you are interested in one of my suits, drop me an offer.
If you want to support me otherwise, feel free to share this on Twitter, or help me on the campaign.
Maybe you know a lawyer in Germany, who's experienced with things like this? Hit me up! Every kind of help is appreciated.
If you want to help me out with a small tip, there is the fundraiser or Paypal: https://paypal.me/pools/c/8rsYRofFa4
But I will most likely leave the whole community after this, if I don’t find a way to keep my suits. Still don't know how to handle this with my partner, since we use most of our free time for fandom activities, but for me it's not an option anymore after selling what means the most to me. We mostly went to furmeets and conventions for fursuiting and partying. I'm not so much into artwork and panels and all the stuff, to be honest. But it sure was a great time with lots of precious moments! Also many thanks to all team members we worked with at conventions and furmeets, you are awesome!
