Astor, but I was already tagged once for this meme previously, sooo...I guess you all get double the truths from me!
1) Post these rules
2) Post 8 true things about yourself

1. I really don't do memes all that often, mostly because Facebook makes me want to MURDER THEIR CREATORS. But here, it's okay.
2. I first got into the furry fandom following links about artwork and fantasy, not to mention an unhealthy obsession with roleplaying - I began on AOL, moved to MUCKs, and would later focus primarily on IRC and messengers due to time constraints.
3. I have something of an "experience" fetish, which leads to several other interests developing as a result. The theory is that in life, we have our experiences, but we are in some way limited in the experiences we can enjoy - we will not be dogs, cats, birds, fish, giant, tiny, the opposite sex or both. Roleplaying in the furry fandom is my way of exploring experience, at least in the theoretical sense.
4. I am TERRIFIED of cicadas. I fear that they will pounce onto my head and drill their proboscis into my ear to suck out my juicy brainsmeants.
5. I am an incredibly frequent offender of the "set it and forget it" method of messaging. I will at times log in and then wander away for hours at a time, only to find I've been messaged by half a dozen people.
6. Sometimes, I feel like I've missed out on the bulk of the furry fandom. There are a lot of cool people out there, but several - some of the trendsetters of the fandom, some of the most interesting minds and most popular artists, are already so jaded and gone that they're nigh-unapproachable. Oftentimes, I'd love to talk about things related to point number 3; the "How," "Why," "When" of why lots of these people do their stuff...but I'm not an artist nor am I a rich commissioner of art. What good am I?
7. I love raw cookie dough. Momma says it'll give me the stomach ache but I just LURVS it. :(
8. I loved Dragon Ball Z when I was younger, and watched it to the point of obsession - memorizing all those details you thought were good reasons to hate DBZ. I even joined a DBZ roleplaying group. <_<

Posted 16 years agoMost evenings I come home and am looking to defrag after work, but ever since I quit WoW and stopped playing the pay-per-month MMOs (mostly due to lack of interest, but also because it does get expensive quickly) I have had trouble finding a good one!
Does anyone out there play interesting MMORPGs that are free-to-play, at least in some aspect? If it has pay content, that's okay, so long as it's not mandatory to get the game's enjoyment.

Halloween Movies
Posted 16 years agoOK, so, I'm having some serious trouble coming up with movies to watch Halloween week. I mean, you have the classics such as A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, HALLOWEEN, but other than that, what are some scary movies? Or, really, what would you guys consider to be some good Hallween-themed movies? Some suggestions that already came my way were Halloweentown (Disney) and Casper (the 1995 film). Good suggestions, and I can watch movies in those veins, but I'm also looking for something that can be a social movie-watching experience, like you'd bring up at a movie night or game gathering.

Eight things:
1: I'm originally from Alabama, which has given me a strange disposition toward being polite and considerate of others, but I am not religious in the least for it to be so famous as a Bible-belt state.
2: I'm agnostic.
3: I don't drink, mostly due to hating the taste of almost all alcohol-containing beverages, but I also don't like the idea of chemically altering my state of mind toward something I can't control.
4: I'm afraid of the dark. :(
5: I am frequently depressed and stressed on the same days.
6: I don't have a driver's license!
7: I have never had a girlfriend I can really call a girlfriend, although I tried to see a few people and even had a fuck buddy once.
8: Although I can say I have bisexual aesthetic appreciation, I'm not actually into guys in a physical or personal sense in real life.
As for who to tag....uhh... uhhm...um... well, I don't know anyone who would be okay with being tagged without this coming off as an annoying meme, so I dunno! Do it yourself if you feel like it. \o/
