Honestly its a bit overwhelming coming back as there are so many things I missed. I am super sorry that I was gone, but I am no longer working so Ive now got tons of time to focus on artwork again! I am so excited to be back in the game, this is the life that makes me happiest!!
So, how are you all? What has been going on? Anyone got any artwork they would like me to look at? ^-^

What tablet do you use?
General | Posted 5 years agoSo, my tablet is fairly busted and I need a new one. I am trying to buy one, though I want one that isn't tiny. I ordered a refurb Medium Wacom, but it wouldn't work so I have to send it back ;-; I am a bit sad to see that the new cheaper Wacom tablets are so much smaller than before... If I want a decent size it is very expensive. SO. If I am going to spend money on a decently sized tablet, I would like to hear if anyone else has any recommendations? What tablet do you use? Is it awesome? Tell me!~

General | Posted 7 years agoOmgosh it is so nice to not be working really anymore. I do work on black friday, but I've had 2 weeks off now and its been so amazing and refreshing. I needed this so bad. I can actually sit down and do artwork now and not feel like I am neglecting my family or friends! And I am so much more inspired and motivated. I feel like work had forced me to lock away part of who I was, and now I've got it back!
I need the money tbh, from working. But my health has been such an issue. And I had to take a step back and think about my life. What if I were to get so sick that I died? Not going to, but it has almost happened twice now. I would look back at my life and I would feel horrible. How I didn't get to tell all the stories I've got, how my family would miss me and I would miss out on so much. All for a minimum wage job. Seriously.
So, here I am! Trying to heal my body and soul!
So happy now!!!

What is the point of buy an adoptable whose terms state "you can't change the design".
I understand when its a closed species, for sure- that's part of the point of closed species.
But your average design adopt. WTF, why? I am literally buying the design from you- I feel like that is part of the sale- that the character design is now 100% the owner's property. Of course, the artist ought to get credit and all of that- but the design no longer belongs to the original artist, it's been sold! So, why can't it be changed? (The design. Not the original art.)
I know, if I don't like the terms I don't have to buy it. BUT its just super insanely sad when I am in love with a design, and go to see the terms of service to find I can't buy that character- because no matter what I am going to eventually I will want to change them some. Because of Character development- or clothing changes, age, whatever. I imagine I will have these characters forever- why would I want a character I could NEVER change any?
I just feel like artists are limiting themselves - as well as hurting their customer base by saying "you can't have any further artistic ideas with this one".
Just a pet peeve of mine I guess.
What do you think?

I've posted some of it on my Patreon- but I am debating on posting some of it here for so you all can see what I've been doing! Maybe get a little idea of what the game will be~
My only worry is any of it getting stolen. Or, if I show too much without thinking~

I am back, again lol.
So, long story short- my husband is a medically retired army vet and he has CRPS. Its something that basically just keeps attacking your body, and eventually will effect more and more of your body as time goes on. It got so bad that he can't go to school or work, so I was having to pick up the slack and work as much as possible. BUT he was medically retired, and so we had to fight to get him to 100% with the VA, which is a LOT of work. But we did it!!!! And this means my load has gotten a ton lighter! I won't have to be working anywhere near as much now!
And it also means my stress levels are so much better haha!! I haven't drawn in ages it feels. My heart would just sink because I was so worried about life that I couldn't get inspire anymore. And now, I know I can! Ahhh!~ I can't wait to draw again!!!!! I am super rusty apparently, but that shouldn't take long to fix ^__^
Anyways, HOW ARE YOU ALL????

Holiday Season is finally over!~

I've been working 60+ hour weeks and was completely out of the art world, 110%. I barely had time to spend with my family! D: But I've finally gotten past it all and am now seeing the light of my own free time! I am so ready to be back into all of this.

I was literally in the middle of drawing, and it kept slowing down. Then it just suddenly shut off. When I turned it back on, it sat on an page stating "Preparing Automatic Repair" forever. After it still being this way over night, I looked it up and it seems like I have to restore the whole laptop.... SO. All the artwork I've done recently is going to be lost....
Such as, my icons for the Tail Guardians. And the icon I was working on, a tail guardian design or two, as well as a few other things.
Hopefully that is all I have lost, as I backed up a while back... I just hadn't recently. -sigh-
My Xbox One just died as well.
And to top it all off I have Carpal Tunnel. Really bad Carpal Tunnel. I'm getting seen for it, so we will see. ;-; Its insanely depressing, but I am trying to be positive and not let it stop me from working. My laptop give up though really hurts, I was finally getting over the depression, using art fight and persona 5 (which I use online guides for) and it gives up on me ;-;

Wacom Driver Issues

KimiEvers gave me a new tablet (her old one), its the same one I had, just much larger.
Apparently I had to download a new driver for it. So I uninstall the old driver and install the new one - doesn't work. No matter how many times I uninstall it and reinstall it, it won't work. And it works 100% on my desktop, but I need it on my laptop because I can't be at my desktop often.
Any ideas? My laptop did just have a massive Windows 10 update that is crud. It took away my WiFi completely for a while there like it didn't even exist for my laptop. I had to work for hours to get it back. Anyone else having issues with their Windows 10 and their Tablets? ;-;

Quality or Quantity?

Quick update before I start talking- I went to the doctor a few days ago and STILL have a kidney infection. They can't figure out why and are sending me to a professional to get it figured out. I am on strong antibiotics for a good while and it makes me feel pretty freaking bad. ;-;
Anyways!
What I really wanted to talk about is Quality or Quantity. See, lately I've had a hard time with my artwork because I get stopped feeling like my artwork is not good enough. I want to make it better and better, and it keeps me from finishing my work. I literally get stuck and finish nothing at all.
I spoke to my good friend about this and she said that I shouldn't focus so much on making them perfect, that I should just get it done and move on to the next thing. That it will make me feel better, and in the long run will make me better just because I am drawing more.
So, what do you think? What do you focus on? Making each piece perfect, or just being happy with what you have done and moving on to do other artwork?

My table is breaking. I honestly don't know how much longer it will last. I've had it for a while, and the cord has frayed where it meets the tablet. Its okay at the moment since I just taped it up, but it stops working randomly and makes me reset my whole computer to get it working again.

General | Posted 9 years agoHey everyone! I am sorry again for the huge delay.
If you hadn't seen my last journal - http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7960775/ - Back after thanksgiving I got seriously sick, got sepsis (when an infection spreads to your blood), and was in the hospital for a bit. I've been fighting to gain weight (I got down to 80 pounds...), and trying to be seen by my regular doctor. But he wouldn't see me, they kept telling me if my Kidneys still hurt to go to Urgent Care instead. Finally I went in to an ER and was told that yes, my kidneys are still infected and they don't know why. I am very slowly gaining weight thankfully, but I am still VERY sick - AND if I can't get rid of this infection with the meds they gave me now, I will have to go back to the hospital. OTL
Also, the meds I was on the first time caused some slight nerve damage. Its pretty crazy...
This situation keeps making me think about my mortality. What happens to my characters if I die? So. I am going to be back to work on art, Tail Guardians, and my personal projects right away, and with a new passion. I don't want my work, my characters, my stories and passions to be forgotten.
I hope you all can help me keep this passion alive! ^___^
