I'm getting back into the convention scene as well as art more full time! My first con is coming up and I hope to see a bunch of you down at RDMC! I'm going to be opening up for Badge and Heartshaped Button Preorders in the next week or so! So watch this space, or my Twitter.
I've also made myself a new website Don't Give a Frick.ca, a great landing page for my current and future projects. I've also got my Storenvy up and running! It's a bit bare right now, but I'll have a wider selection of buttons available soon.

Fur-Eh 2018!
Posted 7 years agoHey all! I haven't been really active on FA in the last year, but I have been getting out to a lot of local furry events with my new Bestie. The local scene in Edmonton has been so lit and I'm so thankful to all the people that make this fandom what it is today <3
I'm heading down to Paws Vegas this year! I'm not sure if it can top Dogwarts last year, but I'm excited to see the show. I'm not hosting any panels this year, but I will be preforming in a Burlesque puppet show Saturday night at 11. I'm going to post pictures of my puppet Bronc, who will be doing most of the hard work.
I'm only doing some personal and gift badges this year. Expect to see some new art in the next month!
I'm going to be working most of the con, so I'll be there in the evenings. but I'm rooming there all three nights. I'm glad I work close to the hotel lol!

Bad Dog Rehabilitation Center - In Setting Requests needed
Posted 8 years agoPicture a remote foothills retreat, the mountains framing the location far away from any other furs. The only access by land is a long dirt road that runs through the property and then off into the deeper wilderness. There is also an open field by the main buildings so supplies can be brought in by helicopter. There are a half dozen buildings in the main area, the largest holding the main dormitories, group showers, common areas and mess area. Some of the smaller out buildings include staff housing and barn. The property extends for over 1000 acres of mostly treed wilderness some notible features include a wide slow creek, a hot springs cave, abundant wild life and several small single room huts.
Now layer in Delicious outdoor femdom, Sexy Dogs (and other hot predators), improbable but hot situations leading to cum everywhere and the feels.
Generally speaking there are less than a half dozen "Bad Dogs" at one time, and the main councilor is Laine, but the facility can hold up to two dozen BDs in the main building, and house an additional three councilors, not to mention any other staff.
I needed to find a new muse and project, and this could be just the stimulation I need to start drawing naughty stuff again 😍 Originally I came up with this idea in 2009 ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/1915163/ ) and it's been rattling around in my head since then. I have a couple ideas for a few of the characters, and a few of the scenarios that I want to draw out already.
Any suggestions or requests along that theme welcome!

Fur-Eh 2016_Panels... Badges?
Posted 9 years agoSo fur eh has become my big Con for the year, since I got responsables, and I want to make it the best Con ever!
I submitted two panels on Hula Hooping. First a how to panel and then a make your own Hoop panel. We had such a good time at the August bbq I thought I'd spread it around at fur eh. The submissions are closed now I think, I hope to hear back soon so I can get the materials together.
I won't be vending at fur eh again this year, hopefully next year I'll be able to have the entire weekend off and make that happen. I have so many good ideas for my new product line.
I might do some badge pre orders if there's any interest. I have a few more gifts in the works. I found some great holographic paper to use too! I'm thinking a $30 price point, lamination and clip included.

New fursuit + Fur-eh
Posted 10 years agoI'm putting together my new Frog suit for Fur-Eh this year and I hope it'll be my most unsettling costume yet. I hope I can fully realise my ideas for it, but I'm being pretty ambitious. I can conceptualise how most of the mouth is done, so I can operate and manipulate the tongue, but it's going to be tough to make it durable enough to eat people. I still need to work out vision for her too, maybe see through face markings? Sight through the eyes and mouth won't be possible, the eyes will be too high up on the head.
I'm also looking for a name, and no not pepe. (It still might be pepe =_=)

Cleaned Out My Gallery A bit
Posted 10 years agoI've just finished cleaning up my gallery. There were some old pieces of art that don't really reflect my ideal self any more that I had to remove. I've also reorganized somethings into folders and stuffed a bunch of things in my scraps too.
I confess that my old Catboy art gives me a lot of anxiety. You see the catboy was an outlet I used to explore my fantasies of a very real person, a person that I hurt with those fantasies. While I never would have actually forced sex on him, I did on several occasions cross the line when it came to physical contact and inappropriate comments. While I should have known better, most of this occurring when I was in my early 20's, I still believed that this obsessive type of love and pursuit was the way to make someone love you back. It took a lot of soul searching to realize it was not and that I was wrong. At that time I sought to make amends through apology and the immediate cessation of both my RL harassment and my constant intrusive obsessive fantasies.
My friendship with this person survived, as well as with our shared friend group, although the bond I share with them isn't nearly as strong anymore because of my self imposed isolation over this. It's also why I've isolated myself from the furry community and some of my longest, best friends in it. Many of my online friends encouraged my obsessive behavior as well as humored and fed my fantasies. people who I fear would no longer be my friend if they knew I've changed. People that I've just distanced myself from and probably lost as friends already.
I don't want to be that person any more.
And I don't want to be this person whose controlled by their shame and guilt either. This is a hard but good step in the right direction.

Coming out of my Anxiety Spiral
Posted 10 years agoIt has been a rough couple years for me and as usual I've done the easy thing and just avoided anything and everything that would cause me more stress. Unfortunately that means that I've been off FA and DA and pretty much anything drawing related. Other than a few undelivered commissions, I've also had to bail on a larger project that I was going to be undertaking with a close friend, and it's really stopped me from doing art in any large scale.
Collage from 2011-2013 really took a tole on my mental health, which has never been great. I try really hard to mask and ignore anything I feel is "Crazy", but when you can't mask the symptoms, it's easier to just withdraw into yourself and not make people worry about you.
Just after Fur-Eh last summer I had a falling out with my Best Friend. We've spoken once since then, to return personal items. This pretty much reset any gains I was making on getting back to normal, and socializing like I had planned.
It's 2015 now, and in 2015 you can do what you want to do so:
I turned 30 last Saturday and I got my drivers licences on Friday.

I know I still owe a couple comissions here and there and I won't be taking anymore till they get cleared up. No ETA on that unfortunatly.
My life is very full of things right now, I work two jobs, we're starting renos on our new house, my man is going to school as well as working full time and I'm physically and emotionally exhausted 90% of the time. But I may have a minute or two to pop in now and again.
I had a great time at fur eh after I finally got off work on saturday! And sunday was a blast too. It's always a great event I have a feeling I'll be volenteering next year, if only to have a good excuse to book it off so I can hang with my peeps. I really do miss all my furry friends.

I will be attending all three days. Atleast one with my daughter who is cosplaying Korra. I will not be selling there how ever, since by some fluke me getting the time off yesterday. See me at the dances, or just durpi g around.

I'm creepy fluttershy. She is my spirit animal. I will have her at a thon but although my daughter knows and approves of the costume, she wont be around much while I'm suiting. Be prepared to b horrified.

My computer isnt turning on, I have some one looking into it but its probably a hard drive thing. I have a bunch of owed art. I will have that cleared up before I head back to school. Life is a time suck. Someone kick me if I open for commissions again, I hate making people wait for art. Its not fair to the commissioners and it makes me feel just that much more overwhelmed, which I dont even need.
More school in the fall. No end to work in sight.

Posted 13 years agoI just got back from CCEE, and now it's time to get ready for Fur-eh! I have a few outstanding commissions, most notably Duke's comic and a gimpy sketch for Clever. I have gibbled my arm in the stupidest way possible. I ran for a bus. So now while my left arm works itself back to some form of use I will be here with not much to do other then textbook reading. I'm bad at reading when having muscle relaxants.
