"Slept" 14 hours last night, with a two hour break in there for crying with pain from a headache, puking up pain killers and generally ruining the toilet. Then the nightmares and the blegh and the erk.
I think I'm allergic to the in laws. =_=
I have some stuff to scan though. Going to be taking it easy today, other then the 100000 Halloween crafts I need to do. Oh god I just want to go back to bed for another 12 hours,

I'm not going to be completely abandoning Classic!Laine because I'm lazy and I still like the design, I mean I wouldn't have used her for the past 4+years if I didn't.
Maybe I'm just trying to get interested in drawing again. All this shit going on this month really has put a wrench in my plans for art. Anti-stress pills make me stupid.

In Other News, Doggies!
General | Posted 15 years agoSo I went to the store this morning after dropping the sprog off. Got some stuff for a beef stew and some fruit. On my way back, almost as soon as I started to walk through the residential area two dogs unleashed come bounding towards me. Now I'm I bit wary of strange dogs, and the male came barking up with the female running along behind. They both sniff me up and down and go on their way. Although on their way ment following me to my door about 1km away.
I figure some one was breeding Lab Puppies and their pair got loose. The female had recently been lactating, and the male was intact. Both were beautiful animals. The male a rich chocolate crown and the female a healthy black. No tags on them or anything though.
Even though they were fairly well behaved, and I could only imagine them going out on a morning date I did call animal control to let them know there were dogs running loose.
Now to domestic activities, like listening to some Terry Goodkind and making stew =3

Epic iPod Failures
General | Posted 15 years agoOk, so last week my clunky iPod video wouldn't connect to my computer, I suspect a bad sector. I reformat! I restore! I update everything I can and proform a sector repair, no dice. I can get about 3gigs worth of junk on it. Oh well! I'll get a new one when they go on sale. Till then I can live with just a few songs. Take it out friday night and it falls out of my pocket somewhere, most likely a parking lot.
What ever, I was getting a new one anyway. I'll just use my little Shuffle I found last year. It's only 1gig, but it'll do my walking to and from school. Oh! Wait, my connector is missing. Look everywhere for it and finally say screw it. Get my man to go find me one, which he does for $20. What ever now I have music.
go to plug it in last night and charger her up and put some music rather then the audio books that I usually use it for. I only get a few blinking light errors and then it doesn't turn on at all, won't charge won't connect. Well fuck. Just wasted $20 on something I'll never buy a new thing for, and still no music.

General | Posted 15 years agoSo it's like the end of august. This moth has been so busy with cons and sickness and exciting things happening durring illness and BLAH.
It's been way too fun and way too horrible to do an accurate report, but I'm getting back to work here right away. I'm getting some free time here while I start looking for a part time job now that my girl is starting kindergarten, so after I finish the commissions I owe, I'm getting back on the art train and I'm probably going to do some sort of art drive. Plus have a few originals up for sale, since i need some sort of cash buffer for going back to school next fall.
So keep a look out for that.
Also next con for me is most likely going to be Anthrocon 2011, since this year is going to be saving for school not having an awesome time at cons.
Got a stationary bike too, so less calories stay in my body.=D
Expect an art dump a bit later today, and commissions being made too =D

On time for once! Me and teranar got there just after kiitastic and chikky checked in so we got to hit the room quick to drop our non art supplies. THen it was down to the Alley for selling! We did a brisk trade in buttons and commissions! I'm so much slower then kiitastic D=
Forgot a bunch of things so our set up was different friday.
Got back to our room had a bit of jello shooters and bed time!
Saturday!
SO BUSY! You guys who came by are awesome! Our arch worked so well! Although people kept mixing up our price lists XD. Did some great arts. Ter disapeared most of the day, like the ice caps D= Who sells 100000 icecaps before I get my second one? ALAS!
Back to the room quick after the AA closed to get ready for the dance! I got all dressed up and vended glow sticks and things! I sold out of everything so fast! I wish I had bought more glow sticks. I was planning on hitting the dance for dancing, but when I got back to ghe room and took my corset off, SO HUNGRY! So we went to Wendys and I got a salad and some chili )for lunch the next day).
Epic backrub before bed.
Sunday!
OH GOD SLEPT IN!
We managed to get packed, showered and down to the alley on time. Only took a couple commissions 'cause my tummy hurt and I still had a few left from saturday. It was a pretty slow day sales wise, but I still hit my goal! And went beyond it with my art show sale =D
Got picked up a bit early. Stopped at the exotic beer store and picked up a few bottles. Almost passed out when I got home, my tummy hurt so much. But I stayed up a bit and then couldn't get to sleep. It was teranas lastnight here. So I broke his headphones.
Just after 1 I popped a sleeping pill and slept.
Great weekend all and all! Thank you all for being apart of it!

I'm heading off to Anime Evo is a couple days and it seems my room is... well isn't. Partially due to some bad planning and partially due to credit card issues.
So, I'm franticly looking for some place to lay my head for the weekend. I don't mind floor space, or bed sharing with strangers or what ever and I have cash to cover my fair share up front.
I am Artist Villa'ing, so I will need some sleep, at least 4 preferably 8 but that's a pipe dream if I've ever heard one.
I'll be getting in Friday and leaving stupidly early monday (like 6 am bus depart), so sunday night really isn't a priority.
I'm still reeling from Athon, and full con report will be up as soon as I can form thoughts that arn't AE panic. (aka tomorrow)

I'm back from Anthrocon, which was a rush. I love you local cons so much, but AC was just... was too special. Didn't sell a lot of art, but I got to costume some, saw my internet girlfriend and roomed one of my oldest internet friends =3
Since I got back I've been in sort of a weird place. Not really PCD, but like just weirdly placed in my head. I think I snapped out of it this morning. I woke up full of pep and vim to get the Animethon and Anime Evolution Juices running, so I've got my artshow munnies out and ready for painting.

I'm also going to be at the dance again this year selling glowy and shiney things =3

I've been up and down lately, both states leaving me uninspired to do any art, but I'm plugging away at my owed commissions. I have about half of them done.
I need a photoshop CS5 key so I can set that up. >.>
Today I'm going to see if I can knock off another three or so. I really need to get pushing so I can get them all done by the first, get my AC stuff going!

I'll have my phone on my 50% of the time (not in suit). I get charged an arm and a leg for calls in the states, so TEXT ME. I'll have my room number available for people when I get there too. If you want either of them, note me.

No and yes. The first rule of free art is never ask for free art. If we're hanging and I get an OMGBESTIDEASEVER then probably.
Do you do trades?
I might when I'm not in the AA. I have a feeling I'll be pretty busy, but if we're jamming I love to trade.
Do you do commissions?
Just badges and Buttons at the con. I might have a room session if I get some interest. I might do some for pick up if I have time too.
That being said, if I have originals for you, and you'll be at AC, let me know and I'll bring it for you to pick up.
Do you have prints / CDs ?
I'll have a few old ones and a few originals. If you want a print of something from my gallery, let me know and I'll make one for you (for like $5)
Do you do badges?
Yes! I'll be doing Durpy Rave badges and Ooopsy Badges for Pre-order, and the one day I'm doing the Artists Alley.
