General | Posted 16 years agoIt's like six weeks till Animethon. OMG PANIC~! And I'm not going to have a chance to do big commissions or even a large number or badges for pick up.
SO! I'm going to be doing sparkle animal badges. Basically your character in dog (or hog) form, with a bunch of accessories. I suppose other animals are cool too. I mean like a sparkle bear? cool. You just have to add some retarded thing to make you more ~*~*~sparkly~*~*~.

These will be $6, payed *before* the convention. I can't accept cash at animethon, just tickets, this means you'll be getting a discount if you order (and pay for them) before the convention. They'll be six tickets at the con or $7.50.
I'll be taking them 10 at a time. Since I can get these done in between my other commissions/things I need to do, i expect I'll be open for more if you don't get in in the first batch.

Back From AFF
General | Posted 16 years agoAFF was a blast this weekend! good times all around. Yummy food, great company and the hot tub, yeah. Met a bunch of cool people just sitting in the dealers den, danced with a couple crazy people at the dance and got drunk at the after parties. ffff so much fun.
I'll most likely be at Rainfurrest come september, so look out for me if you're going.
I'm goingot be working on over due commissions for the next couple days so if I owe you art, TELL ME and I'll get that done for you post haste.
After i get that all done I'll be opened up for a bunch more commissions and I'll get you some arts.

General | Posted 16 years agoAFF just snuck up on me this year with moving and I have so much to do! One pre order, plus button inventory and stuff for my art panel, plus packing in only FIVE DAYS.
But it's going ot be a blast! I'll be dealing again like last year, with a new assortment of buttons and things. I'll aslo be doing badges and commissions too~! After the den closes I'll be all over some drinking and partying. PS: Bringing my bathing suit for hot tub and pool times! Fucking love pools.
I still might have time to sneak in a badge or two before the con, if you're interested~ Only 10 moneys~!

After the last post I booted up my mp3 player and listened to Mika while taking a long walk in the first thunderstorm of the year.
I drew a bit.
Then went out to supper with the best bunch of people I know=3
We then played some rock band and watch six new rifftrax shorts. Creepy 50's pedo smiles make me giggly.
then I came home and now here I sit.
My legs hurt, but I'm doing better over all. I just want it to be May now.

Rest in peace New Age Retro Hippy, you had a long and useful life.
On that note I will be on messengers a lot less now, since that box was in my art space. So if you don't see me online, nothings happened I'm just very far away from the computer, at least till we move May 1st.
Not only that I have teh worst timing, and this shitty webcam doesn't work with my stuff anyway.
I can't find my business card stash.
I cut myself shaving.
I feel like I'm going to puke.
And I showered today and I still smell bad, so I'm going to have to change out of the last of my nice clean cloths.
On the plus side (after I shower again) I'll be going out with some good friends tonight and hopefully I'll be able to Rockband myself to good feelings. Or at least not puke over everything, and get some work done in the corner.

A Big Thank You
General | Posted 16 years agoThat you, all of you. These last few weeks have been hard ones. and although the next few don't seem to be looking any better. It's comforting to know that there are so many people on the internet supporting me, even though they don't know what's going on.
As you might know the apartment we're currently living in is infested with insects, bed bugs and cockroaches mostly. So over the past six months we've been looking for a new place. Well our lease is finally up, and we've found a new place , a very nice townhouse thats right by a close friend of my husband lives. But moving out of these conditions that we're currently in means we're going to have to get rid of a lot of our cloths, furniture and just general stuff. Everything else is going to need to be bleached and moved immediately.
90% of the commissions I've been taking are going towards replacing things and I've almost reached my goals, so I think for now I'll be closing all non badge commissions so I have time to pack and get things ready for AFF and Harufest. So I can make up the last bit of cash there.
To make matters worse, my husband who I love very much, was diagnosed this week with Sarcoidosis, and he's on some pretty heavy medication and has been missing alot of work because of it. Thankfully he has a awesome job where they cover sick leave like this, and all his medication, but come june I'll need to start working part time to make sure ends meet so my art production is expected to go way down.
Wish me luck.

General | Posted 16 years agoAll I have to say is WOW, I had such a good time. I met so many people! Artists, friends, fans, and just cool new people! A Big thank you for everyone who stopped by my table~ I know I developed a wanderlust this weekend and I was missing for a lot on saturday and sunday. SO if you were at FWA and didn't get something you wanted from my table, be it buttons, commissions or prints, lets work something out for post con discounts =3
I can't fully articulate everything that happened this last weekend, I'm just too over whelmed. Drinking, dancing, panels, the hugs, the conversation, the general atmosphere just wow.
Now that I'm back and con prep for little harufest is going to be small, I'm going to be opening up a few commission slots this after noon for the little 9x12's I love doing. Maybe even an auction for a bit 9x12.

Buttons, Key chains, prints, paper, self laminating sheets and markers. Even had room for my swim suit =D Aparently the hilton has a pool and that means hot tub furry time right guys.
If you're going to be at Minneapolis St Paul Intl between 11:44 and 2:15 CMT, look for me in the airport 'cause I'm going to be booooooored.
I'll be hanging in the Artists Alley mostly durring the day, and I'll be up drinkin' and dancin' durring the night,

Pegging Comic
General | Posted 17 years agoSince I'm waiting on payment for my current commissions I decided that I should finally finish up that pegging comic I've been blathering about for ages. You can see a 4 panel sample pic http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1886578/ panels are in order, but not in sequence.
Now this brings me to, I'm not sure if I should put the completed thing online, since I'm planning to print it and sell it at furry conventions. I'm thinking colour cover, with eight black and white pages (6 comic, 2 strap on related pin ups) along with a bit of ad space back inside cover. I'd think that having it online might diminish sales (even with it priced at $3-$5).
If I were to post it online and I "held the comic hostage". Posting a page for, say every $20 in donations would anyone donate?
Would anyone be interested in having an Ad in the back of the printed version?

I showed a few people at the furry party that pegging comic, and they liked where it was going.

I'm opening four additional slots for smaller 9x6's not on auction. Payment through paypal or money order, payment required after the sketch is approved.

Merry Holidays! And Plans for the New Year
General | Posted 17 years agoAs you can see all my WoW commissions are done with and I'm back onto some better and more exciting things. Looking down you can see more of that pegging comic is coming along, as well as page 2 of Dukes comic. I also am doing super secret christmas present for a certain someone, and a semi secret project with Alexihusky.
My new website will be active in the new year as well, so you guys can get all your favorite buttons in sweet store format. Expect a bunch of new designs as well.
Commissions slots will also be reopening in January, as well as a couple auctions for larger pieces.
Also: IRL Strapon slapping picture shall be available in the new year, 'cause I'm a crazy bitch =3.
