Posted 8 years agoI looked back at some of my older journals and submissions and stuff and just, *hurk* makes me cringe and want to barf. I had no idea what real hardship was like, none whatsoever. But a least I can look back and see how I've grown as a person, so there's some positive to it.

Nothing made that hit home more than after I got my shot in Monday and went through that painful and scary ordeal, and after passing out just after getting it...I wanted to be held and cuddled and told everything was gonna be okay.
I'm so vulnerable and weak, and I hate it.
I wish I had someone that was right for me completely, to help me through this awful time.

Our opponents are getting desperate, and their lies about gay and lesbian Illinoisans and our families are downright outrageous.
They’re flooding Springfield with phone calls and emails urging Representatives to oppose the freedom to marry -- using hurtful, misleading statements like “Same-sex marriage denies children the right to know who their real parent is” to persuade members of the House to vote NO at the last-minute. They’ll do whatever it takes to deny marriage to loving same-sex couples in Illinois.
As the lead sponsor of this bill, I’ve spoken with my colleagues and I know that a majority want to stand on the right side of history and vote in favor of extending marriage to all Illinois families. But I won’t lie to you, our opponents -- led by the Illinois Family Institute and the National Organization for Marriage -- are really putting on the pressure to convince them to vote no.
I need your help to urge your Representative to vote YES on SB10. They need to hear from you -- right now -- as they decide how they’ll vote on the House floor.
Tell your Representative: It’s time for Illinois to become the 10th state to pass marriage equality.
Together, we’ve created incredible successes over the last several months -- we’ve grown support in every region of the state, made our case to lawmakers, and passed the marriage bill with overwhelming support in the Senate. Posted 12 years agoI'm 23 today!.. yay. this year, I'm really going to change things. there's a lot of big stuff on the way...
I'm going to start drawing almost every day, and I"ll be posting art once a week. so hold me to it!
I'm going to be moving in with my boyfriend, that means finding a new job, a place to live and moving to a whole new city. it'll be a lot of change.
I'm excited, and a bit nervous, so here's praying and hoping things all go well!

We did it! Moments ago, the House Executive Committee voted overwhelmingly to advance the marriage bill.
The bill now moves to the House floor, where it could be voted on in the coming days. Passing the marriage bill on the House floor is our final hurdle towards securing the freedom to marry in Illinois once and for all.
Several Representatives still haven’t decided how they’ll vote -- which means that the fate of the marriage bill will come down to how many phone calls and emails we can generate to members of the House in the next several days leading up to the vote.
Contact your Representative now and urge them to vote YES on SB10.

Today’s victory is a result of everything you’ve been doing to grow this campaign into one of the strongest grassroots efforts that Illinois has ever seen. Together, we‘ve passed the marriage bill with bipartisan support in the Senate, grown and diversified majority support for the freedom to marry across the state and generated tens of thousands of phone calls and messages to members of the General Assembly.

sooo.... Christmas gifts.
Posted 12 years agoor rather, the lack thereof... the last couple of years I've been able to get Christmas gifts for all my friends and family... but this year (my fault completely) I'm a little bit tight on the budget.. and can't get gifts for everyone. so if you don't get a gift from me, that doesn't mean I love you any less! I just wasn't able to, and I'm sorry I couldn't. but I still love you all! :3

GAWSH it was a TON of fun, I had so much fun with my

and a bunch of other friends to!
we meet some new friends, went to a ton of panels, and had a blast!
the Con Suite was AMAZING and the best thing in my opinion, was...
the FURSUIT DANCE COMPETITION!
OHMEGERD it was so cool, I was cheering and trying not to dance as I watched so many awesome dancers dance! it made me wanna dance haha, it looked like so much fun! and I wanna get a fursuit SOOO BADDD now! AAAAHHHHh I want one SO, SO bad. HHNNGGGGG I want one!
and I had a wonderful time seeing my handsome, super amazing boyfriend again~ I'm still daily amazed at how much of a perfect match he is for me, and how amazing he is! smart, talented, handsome~ and all mine. <3
