Posted a month agoI have a question: what matters more to you in a drawing - its beauty (I mean how it’s drawn, the colors, composition, the artist’s skill) or, first and foremost, the emotions it conveys, the expression, the atmosphere…?

Posted 5 months agoHello everyone! I've decided to switch to a "slot" commission system — where I open orders all at once at a specific time. However, there will still be urgent slots available too!
I believe this will help me manage my time better and understand the expected workload right from the start!
All the information will be posted as an image-announcement in my gallery!

Hi everybody, this is Landysh. Usually I don't like to write many posts, but lately it is so bad in my country (and now in the neighboring countries) that I wanted to tell about it from my side, about what is really going on for a long time.
The war between Russia and Ukraine came as a surprise to me as a resident of Russia. I knew that relations between Russia and other countries have been strained lately, but war is the last and worst thing to come to.
Among my friends and acquaintances there are none who support what is happening now. War is always horrible and scary. Any adequate person would not support it, much less participate in it.
If we, the civilians, were asked if we wanted it, I'm sure almost everyone would say no.
But the problem is that no one asks us, in recent years we've only been presented with a fact. And when we come out to peaceful protests to defend our opinions, they beat us with truncheons and lock us in cells. Women, children, the elderly and disabled are beaten.
There is no freedom of speech and no freedom of choice in my country!
Yesterday Russian citizens went out to peaceful rallies in many cities, what do you think happened, they were arrested, beaten and taken away in the same way. For what? For being against the war and going against the opinion of the state.
What can you say about this that even the president's press secretary says that - "Citizens do not have the right under the law, without following the appropriate procedures, to stage rallies to make their point of view known" - Dmitry Peskov.
And it's impossible to get a permit, because they're never issued.
It was the same with the rallies in support of Navalny: thousands of people came out, I came out myself.
Have the people's opinions been listened to? No! There were mass beatings and arrests.
The older generation, who is constantly watching TV sits there with their minds clouded and looking into Putin's mouth.
Most young people don't support him and want a change of power (like me).
But even that they are not allowed to do, I dread to imagine what would happen if someone cames out with a placard about it. Even now I'm worried when I'm writing this post that someone might come knocking on my door and take me away for my opinions.
Yes, there have been quite a few cases where people have been visited because of a comment on a social network or a liked post. And all of this is happening in Russia!
We don't want war, we are against the current government, we are also scared and we don't know what to do to stop it.

В моей стране нет свободы слова и нет свободы выбора!
Вчера выходили на мирные митинги граждане России во многих городах, что вы думаете произошло, их так же арестовывали, били и забирали. За что? За то то что они против войны и идут против мнения государства.
Что говорить об этом, что даже пресс-секретарь президента говорит что - “Граждане не имеют права по закону, не выполняя соответствующих процедур, устраивать акции для того, чтоб обозначит свою точку зрения” - Дмитрий Песков.
Само собой невозможно получить разрешение, потому что их никогда не выдают.
То же было и с митингами в поддержку Навального, вышли тысячи людей, я сама выходила.
Прислушались ли к мнению народа? нет! Были массовые побои и аресты.
Старшее поколение, которое постоянно смотрит телевизор сидит с затуманенным рассудком и смотрит в рот Путину.
Большинство молодых людей не поддерживают его и хотят смены власти (как и я).
Но даже это им не позволяют делать, мне страшно представить что случится если выйти с плакатом об этом. Даже сейчас я переживаю когда пишу этот пост, что ко мне могут постучаться в дверь и забрать из за того, что я высказываю свое мнение.
Да, было немало случаев когда к людям приходили из-за комментария в соцсети или лайка. И все это происходит в России!
Мы не хотим войны, мы против действующей власти, нам тоже страшно и мы не знаем что сделать чтоб это прекратить.

Yay! Guys! Thanks to your commissions I was able to order new computer and it will arrive very soon!
The one I have now doesn't pull anything, not even Photoshop and drawing on it was hell! But now I can draw in big formats! I'LL BE ABLE TO DO STREAMING! Make YCHs with multiple characters and more!
I am so happy! Just wanted to thank you and share this great news!
I hope my drawings will be better and of higher quality because of this!
