I'm slow again getting commissions done, I truly apologise. After getting ill over Christmas and New Year I was starting to make headway into my latest round, a few are already sketched and inked so just need colour and shade now which makes me happy!

Yesterday though mom took her kids from her school where she is a Nursery Nurse to Telford Ice Rink in the town centre and true to form for the teachers became the latest teacher to break a bone on the ice, cleanly broke her left kneecap in half. True to herself she coyly called Stu and I when he got home from work and asked if we could come look at her knee. Of course we can?? We didn't know what she had done until we arrived at hers and holy mother of - Ive never seen a knee the size of hers. So we took her to A&E and she just wanted a bandage and to go home to get ready for work the next morning. She was very giggly more so than normal and then started shaking while we were in the room waiting for the doctor to come in and I realized she was in a state of shock, I remember what that felt like after I came off of my motorcycle. All I wanted to do was giggle and shook like a vibrator.

Anyways, she's all splinted up today after going to the fracture clinic. Thing to know about most houses in the UK is we all have stairs, and with her knee being the way it is she can't get around easily yet so I've been splitting (and will have to continue for a while) to split my days at home working and then caring for her especially if dad doesn't make it home. (The joys of truck driving for a living!)

Stu and I are the ones who can easily get to her since shes close by and poor sam is away until the weekends (our brother) so I get to be a nurse for a while! Just without the nifty outfit, especially since their house gets cold. @_@ So please bare with me, I'm trying to stay up as late as I physically can working and hope to work straight through the weekend as well to catch up.

And no more cancer patients and 69 year olds 2016. My heart broke at Alan. :|

Sorry guys, I'm doing a little better. Was back with the doctors again last week and had a fun case of conjunctivitis and another problem thats a bit more personal (:X) I'm back to feeling more like me. I've put contacts back in so giving them a try again!

After a fun weekend of pet fiasco, I can also say we have two new additions to the house. Luna and Slush (dad named Slush haha) as I had promised slaton a pair of rats for the New Year. They're just babies so they're not used to being held much though Luna has taken to living under my chin as I wear my hoodies backwards. Bless. X33

Commissions wise, I've litterally just finished a large piece, just waiting on the commissioners approval before I upload it. 6, well 5.5 characters so its one of the largest I've done, though with their body types it was a learning curve. X3;; So if you've been waiting for a piece, I'm on it! Well, Luna and I are on it. She's the gaffer now.

So I've been really horrible with keeping social media updated. I tried to keep up to date with my phone but with how poorly my phone has been (it's 4 years old now) it just can't handle hardly anything even with keeping it clean, always restarting to keep the memory low, and still wanting to throw it out the window since it cant load even the keyboard, it's time to feel like I'm turning into my parents.

Short message as I've had my ass kicked. I have to let you know I'm slow to respond.
If this isn't better by Thursday I've been told I have to go in for xrays because the GP cant hear anything but I'm not getting any better.
I turned last night and lost my voice today and have all symptoms of another cold with the draining and head cloudyness (new word yay) but I still have a chest infection, two pulled muscles in my rib cage and my lower back from coughing and my TMJ is still going strong. Needless to say I'm not very with it, but at least I told Ellis when I get sick I do it in style. I suppose for only having one cold last year this is making up for all of the missed opportunities! I dodged so many last year so it's my turn! At least Nan has a chest infection with me so I'm not alone haha!



I'm not a pity party person, so take this message with a grain of salt. It's just appropriate to let y'all know where I am and what's going on since I've been MIA. No partying between Christmas and New Year for me, mostly been watching movies on the couch or sleeping. Though I don't really get enough of doing either so it's a blessing in disguise!

The nice bit is I have a new phone though I haven't been able to play with it. Anyone who had my previous number it's now dead. Well, I have the number but Ellis' phone died this morning so he has my old phone body with his SIM card in until he can get a new one. I'll eventually be able to receive messages on that phone but not be able to respond via text/phone - but I do get incoming. Well, I will do once I have that phone body back. Anyways if you did have that number, it's now gone. I'll be sending out my new one to a few people but that means telegram and whatsapp is now dead if you had my previous info.

I'm going to be taking it a bit easy over the next few days as I've been horribly ill. This cold has gone from going away to I'm back in bed and feel like death. It's gone from my chest and up into my head which is aggravating my TMD that I have had for some years now. I thought it was just a normal earache but it's finally gone into my jaw and making it difficult to open my mouth wide. Just have to watch it and if it doesn't feel better Monday get in to the GP for a general checkup. Just wish this cold would finally shift and move onto its next victim. >:|

Anyone who has already messaged me about them, I've kept your information down and I'm still willing to do them! I'm tentatively closing them to see if those who wanted them follow through. I should be easily able to do these commissions before Christmas and I'm limiting how many I take on so that if I do finish early, I can reopen for those who are after last minute gifts.

I do have a couple of people who have asked for work but I haven't heard back from just yet, but I am leaving their spaces open for them. If they don't respond by Monday I'll release the spots for new work.

Last year I had a number of people ask me if I was taking on work close to Christmas and if it would be done in time. I did my best to get everything finished on time so people would have their pieces for their friends, family, or gifts for themselves and succeeded, but that doesn't include the people who I had to say no to because it was left too late.

I will be reopening in a week or a week and a halfs time for more work, preferably for those wanting Christmas gifts or want a gauranteed piece before the holiday. If you do want an art piece, please stay tuned, but know that I will gauge how many pieces I can take on before I close for the New Year.

I'm not the most creative when it comes to my characters, so I've been thinking about doing this for some time now after discussing with slaton about his characters and how well he creates his backgrounds. I need help to flesh out my characters and have them pinpointed in one place, thus the creation of this in some few minutes of free time before going to bed!

I was always afraid of making a Palomino Clydesdale as one of my good friends already has one (well a Mustang Palomino!) and I couldn't decide what colours I wanted. So I was talking with Slaton about this and he said he saw me as a Vanner because my hair is always in my face even if I pin it back! I'm helpless with that, but having never heard of the breed after I saw photos I was hooked. That was it.
How long have you had this character represent you?: Goodness, 2 years now just about! She quickly replaced Lapres as I never really felt connected with her as a true "Sona."

She didn't quite cut it as staff materials but while in training, Kalin popped into the shop to pick up some treats for the guys back on the farm on her way through town and got to talking with Sage. Quickly the two became friends and Kalin offered a potential job with her helping her grow flowers, of which Sage has been to University for Cultural studies, specifically for understanding the Native Americans and their rituals.

Just a quick update on the pup!

He's settled in really well. We find that the only issue we have with him is he launches himself at the front door when the bell rings, so we'll have to do a lot of work to help that behaviour. First vet visit went well and he has some marks on his tum which I had to question but apparently are very normal in GSD's. Bailey and Alfie are getting along incredibly well! Shes come out of her shell with him and has been learning how to be a dog for a change! It's quite refreshing! The only weird thing they do is he deep throats her with his face and she inhales his muzzle.

He's a good weight, and his coat is super soft and shiny now. Massive improvement to two weeks ago. We're working on the garden now, making it dog friendly (and house friendly.) I've sliced and diced my hand but I am super fotunate that one of the injuries is to the left of where my pen sits where I draw so I'm not in any pain while I work on art. Hurts when I type if I use one of my fingers wrong. Something went through my glove and up into the center of my middle fingers tip and just through the skin and under the nail. Sounds worse than it looks but its super sore.

Trying to make the garden more secure than it already is for these two and make it comfortable for them. It's the final thing to do on the house and then we're done. It's a slow work in progress but we took up the turf and I leveled it myself (thanks to the builders who built it at a bizarre angle not even for drainage purposes, just laziness) and laid weed fabric down. We'll pea gravel the lot and I've managed to find very inexpensive (THANK GOD) artificial grass for the top of the garden. So far I'm coming in under budget, so I'm stoked I've been able to source cheap things to get the job done faster.

Alfie is really enjoying himself in the garden and loves running around. Bailey isn't too keen on being a moose in the garden, but as long as it's comfortable for them thats what matters, and making clean up easy on myself is worth it. Plus no lawn, and Stu finally has his fake tiny piece of lawn. Lazy git. I'll find some large grass type plants to put in pots since our ground is HEAVY clay and give the dogs something to roam around in, well in the future anyways. Gumtree will be my friend finding timber or pots for this. Going to build my first planter and hope I don't kill someone. ;_;

I've managed to catch a cold again and it's really kicked me about. Getting through my work as quickly as I can!

I do want to apologize for being so quiet as of late. My trip took it out of me so I'm not surprised in the slightest I caught something (plus family has been around who 3 of them were already down with colds) so matter of time. Oh well! XD Blankets and soup for me but luckily I'm doing better today than I was yesterday, I can focus on the screen and continue working!

I've kept quiet before my trip about things going on medically and on a personal level. I'm doing well but getting used to new medication still. I feel really aloof from these so I'm finding my feet.

Trip over, I'm home. I don't really want to bore anyone with what happened, but I'm still exhausted and jet lagged but trying to get back to normal. Parents aren't doing well at all, boy is doing good and I want to bury myself in my blankets like a dragon in its den hoarding all of the pillows. Things didn't go as planned at all on this trip thanks to my parents and a stupid hotel with a bedbug infestation in the carpet. -_- No bites on us at least and nuked the hell out of everything we owned and bought new bags.
