As most of you know, I ended up tweaking my bad quite badly two weeks ago. It's really slowed my progress down, mostly because I've been high as a kite on medication. I saw a Doctor on Monday who helped me by realigning my pelvis and gave me a deep tissue massage to help the muscles relax. Now it's letting the skin heal from where he pressed but I can easily bend and move about unlike before. I'm starting to come off of the medication as well which means I can focus a bit better, though I will admit drawing while feeling drunk off my rocker is quite entertaining. XD;;;;

I'm going to finish my badge run to get these off to the printer right away as one of them needs to be back in time for Scotia con (I'll express mail the badge to the owner just to make sure they have it!) and I should be finished with the rest of my commissions by next Friday. I'm plowing through them even though you're not seeing me post things on FA/Facebook. Some of these are hidden commissions that I can't post yet. @___@!!!!

Getting there!!! Then I'll be reopening for a couple of platinums and opening some themed badges as well for Halloween. Also, I have some note books and sketchbooks that are begging to be drawn on, so I'll offer the chance at getting a traditional cover art and maybe a few pages inside done up and shipped out.

2. Do you know why you were named that?
Her actual name is: Caoilainn - pronounced Kalin

It is of Irish origin, and the meaning of Caoilainn is "slender and white, fair or pure". From "caol fionn". It is anglicized as Kalin or Keelin.

Very taken.

4. Have any abilities or powers?
Nothing special aside from being strong and a bit muscular. I've worked hard for this!

Typical Gypsy Vanner – a mess of white and black.

Just an adopted fish brother.

Yes, actually. I do have a Berry Gryphon named Parsnip. He's a bit of a tart though. Also our farm dog, Bailey the White German Shepherd. She's also a tart and eats everything. I think shes a goat, personally.

Blech, doing my hooves up all nicely and then having to go tred in mud while working the fields.

11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
Hobbies, trying tea rooms, going for walks, and making crafts with my hands. I'm a bit of an art horse, but I tend to make more of a mess than anything productive! I do work as a Gypsy Caravan horse though, pulling for a grateful family who take good care of me.

12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?
A few times, yes. Usually with my fists. I'm a bit of a fighter but I do enjoy a good bar brawl every now and again! Don't let my size and stature fool you. I am a draft horse, just a tiny one.

13. Ever… killed anyone before?
Maybe the occasional fly. Buggers get annoying when all you want to do is roll in the hay. I suppose it comes with the equine territory.

14. What kind of animal are you?
I am a Gypsy Vanner – Irish Cob, whatever you want to consider me. I'm the smallest of the draft horses and most commonly used for pulling Gypsy caravans. We are typically only 14 hands high, where as the great Shire horses can get between 18-21 as their largest. That puts me pretty small and stocky!

15. Name your worst habits.
I fart in the tub. I mean come on, it's like a gentle bubble bath! I get a bit anal retentive about my mane and how it aesthetically looks. I hate unkempt hair! Also my canons have to be perfectly shaved at all times. I suppose I'm a bit high maintenance. :|

16. Do you look up to anyone at all?
Constantly. Haha! My best friends Korevo and Jose for how loving they are and protective. I look up to Ellis for his strength and determination, and how loving he is. No one treats me better.

17. Are you gay, straight, or bisexual?
Straight.

18. Do you go to school?
I've been to equine school. We have to be able to properly walk in the show ring! I might not be genetically a show horse, but I do enjoy my lessons.

Yes, ineed. =) If my shire and I have children, they will be Drum horses which is the cross breed of Shire and Gypsy Vanners. Typically they pull the massive drums for the Queen.

20. Do you have fangirls/fanboys?
I don't think so. I have a dirty job!

21. What are you most afraid of?
Probably severe weather. If its raining outside, Id rather hide myself.

22. What do you usually wear?
Usually my black/white/pink summer dress. Any summer dress will do, especially with a pettycoat under it. My hooves are always done nicely with pink or red horse shoes. My hair always has its flower on the left hand side, and my tail is always done in a braid with ribbon.

23. What's one food that tempts you?
High Tea – with sandwiches and cream teas. Scones, jam and Cornish cream.

24. What class are you (low class, middle class, high class)?
I'm probably middle class. I treat myself as if I were high, but work as a low. I'm happy regardless even if I am a farm horse!

Quite a few!

26. What are your thoughts on pie?
Depends on the pie. Pumpkins my favourite, but I can easily make it myself. Did I mention I'm also a country girl?

My farm partner, Ellis. He might be a few hands bigger than me, but I try my best to keep up with him. My long hair tends to get in the way though, but I'm constantly smiling about him under all of that fluff.

Huzzah. Spoke with the doctor today. He doesn't think its a slipped disc but a pulled muscle and expects it to be quite painful for the next few days. Diazepam and a painkiller have been ordered though have to get the painpill tomorrow. Luckily  slaton is here to save the day. <3

If not better by Friday, into the doctor I go, though my trainer put me into contact with someone who helps him in a town near by for issues like this. He professionally helps bodybuilders, so I'm lucky to have been referred. Ahh, hopefully painlessness comes soon!

Some of you know I've started at the gym last month. I've been at it and done really well since I'm weight training. My aspiration is to make it to physique show level is my goal in the end and I've enlisted a trainer to get me there.

Today I was on my own and had just completed my legs workout and was taking my gloves off. I put one glove down and my spine seized to the point I couldn't stand up. I don't know what I had done, or how I've managed to injure myself - I'm pretty safe with how I do things at the gym. :| I've had an incredibly hot bath with epsom salt and then mineral ice, and a double dose of Codine. I'm high as a damn kite but I can still feel it. u_u

I'm going to do my best to find a more comfortable position to art in. I can't sit in my normal position and I've got a back thingy (I dont know what its called) on my chair to help. :<

Seriously, I need to live in a bubble. I'm a walking disaster zone. Good news is I'm managing to keep colds at bay! For the first time living in the UK I'm not catching EVERYTHING that people seem to have. Hello immune system, glad to see you've kicked back in.

I underestimated this current platinum artist that I took on. @___@ It's taken a day so far and still have work to go, so I'm still plowing through it. Once its finished, I'll reopen commissions as I'll have one commission left in my queue for  teckly.

I have 3 commissions left to complete. Friday I plan on opening up some more commissions, once again Platinum Artists and a few Normal commissions, or if not Friday sometime at the weekend. For those of you interested and are out of country, the Pound (GBP) took a nose dive over the last few days and is at a low compared to the Dollar (USD) making it much more reasonable for those of you elsewhere.

In the end you're getting more for your money, which I'm happier about. :/ Don't get me wrong, I like my currency doing well, but it sucks for business, so with this change I'm content!


Confuzzled badges will be looking for a few test dummies as well for my test batch. I have two spaces spoken for, and need 3 others. I will probably open this with more information in the future once the finished design is ready. The template is already in progress, and will be completed with the next batch of commissions.

:B Pleased with how calm she is, but that's just how she is normally.

Thanks to each one of you for enjoying my artwork. It's very uplifting that after the past two years I can continue to do this as my job. There's been rough patches and good things - but I'm fortunate that I've worked with amazing commissioners and have so many amazing people commenting and favouriting my pieces.

I know a few people wanted to watch my page today for when I'm opening. I'll unfortunately have to open once I'm home this evening, so probably sometime after 8pm UK time. I've got an ultrasound appointment and then heading out after that with Ellis as he has scheduled my 30th birthday present of flying owls at dusk with tea, coffee and biscuits. :B I finally get to be up close and personal with the animals I adore most. Keep in mind it may be cheaper to go the Platinum Artist route over a normal commission depending on what additions you want to your image. I've been spending loads of time on my Platinum Artist images, and the increased cost goes to number of extra hours spent on the pieces. @_@

For a long time I've been worried about what to put into my journals. I feel like I should be able to speak freely and speak my mind, but unfortunately I've never found the comfort in doing so. Many of you have been asking me where I've gone in my chat programs, or why streams aren't consistent. Things are getting harder yet better at the same time. There is no happy medium. Next week I'll be taking a week to myself. I do have open commissions that are in progress of being completed.

All of my remaining platinum artist pieces have been sketched, and Sibyls is being completed this afternoon. She just needs her hair/outfit and background doing. I'll do my best to ink all 3 of the remaining ones tonight and tomorrow, and fill the colours in so that its an easier process as soon as I return. I regret not being able to get through all of them in time, I had to take a personal day Tuesday and part of Wednesday as I couldn't focus any longer. Some people already know somethings happened, but don't know the details of it. For now, I'll keep it that way. As much as I wish I could tell you whats happened, I can't.

I'll continue working until I physically leave, and do my best to get as much completed as I can between now and then.

My Acrylic badges have been accepted and are being processed. As soon as I arrive back home I hope that they will be here waiting for me. I'll photograph them and then send them on their ways to their respective owners.
