I got into a car accident about 2 months ago and haven't been able to go home. I'm staying a friends house for the time being but I really need to get my car fixed so I can go back to MY home. Therefore I am selling some older characters to help with the costs.

Do any of you like making theme songs/play lists for your characters? I have a tendency to listen to certain songs and automatically connect them to certain characters or situations they get into /w\

When people see a commission that you got from another artist or even something you did yourself and they guess your species/your OC wrong does that get on your nerves? and if it does do you do anything about it? like do you feel compelled to correct them or do you just let it go?

I have found that it tends to make my eye twitch. I know its a stupid thing to get annoyed over but I kinda can't help it if ignorance annoys me. I run into it all the time with Cross. Her ref is right there on my front page if you'd like to look. Its always "oh wow that fox is so pretty!" .....SHE IS NOT A FOX :I so just because she's red and has a long tail that makes her a damn fox? Like her features are barely fox like. Look at a picture of a fox then look at a picture of Cross. What similarities do you see? She's a Maned Wolf+Timber Wolf mix. But its not even Cross I get that with my dragon Elwyn to. "What a neat bunny dragon! :D" So he has long ears so that makes him a "bunny dragon?" GOD NO :U

My opinion on people leaving is because of the drama is rather disapproving so I'll keep it to myself but I won't be going anywhere :>

What made you choose the species of your main Character?
At first Cross was just a mixed species with no particular direction. I drew her a bit differently each time and let other interpret however they felt was necessary but as she started to become more developed I narrowed it down and she was reborn! Cross is a mix between a Maned wolf and a Timber wolf. The reason for that is something I'm not willing to share. Sorry!

Is your character just like you, or how you want to be?
I would have to say yes and no. Yes in the way that she shares a lot of what I am but she is also her own separate being.

Does your character have the same personality you have?
In a lot of ways, yes! She is a lot more outgoing than me though, much more extroverted.

Does your character have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
You betcha! She loves reading, tea, movies, the stars and snow. She adores cool nights but values the warmth of the day and many many more things and her dislikes are also almost identical.

Does your character look like you at all?
Physically I would say kinda since she does have a human form but no its not spot on. She has the same red hair and height and also with the way she dresses but her physique is different and I don't have silvery eyes.

Is your character the same gender as you, if not why?
Yes, Cross and I both are physically female and identify as female.

Do you have more then one main character?
I do! I have a few "main" characters but Cross is who I identify with the most and she holds a very special place with me c:

Do you have a back story for your character, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
Of course she has her own story! I would say only a few things in her world and story correspond with my own experiences.

Is your character mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
Yes, Cross does have a mate and no is he takes no form to my own personal life or interest, not yet at least c;

If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?
She is not looking!

Is there something special about your character that you think sets them apart from others?
Among her clan she is truly one of a kind. She has fabulous instincts and is a great protector. A lot of her "job" has to do with a more ominous side of life but she is in no way dark or evil. (this is hard to explain okay :U)

I do quite often! Cross is apart of a large, developed ongoing story, somewhat like a novel I suppose with how its played out and planned.

Most definitely, she is the most "me" of any character I have. But also, all my characters are a part of me in one way or another. I love them all, but I love Cross the very most! She is my one and only <3

IM SO SLOW AT IT. I've been having a hard time sitting down and getting business done but I am none the less. I've been doing a lot of doodling lately, I RARELY upload my doodles but I was thinking about doing it anyway since some of them are kinda cool? I've been doing sketch pages of my characters and I like them :> Also I have a commission I am working on. Just having a hard time with the pose! (sorry!) When I get some more money together I want to expand my traditional media. I need some new stuff and I think a nice shopping spree is in order. I'm almost out of everything. Drawing pads, colored pencils, markers and my outlining pens are starting to dry up! ;w; Also, I am almost always open for commissions so if anyone is interested just shoot me a note and we can work it out. I dont have any set prices, I tend to just charge what I think is fair for my time but I am nice and like to work out pricing for people C:

HEALTH :<

I'm not sick so I dont have that to complain about, except allergies, they suck but I have it under control for the most part. What I am getting at though is much more personal (to me anyway) I decided that I desperately need to talk to my doctor about getting my anxiety and nervousness under control. I thought I was doing okay but since I've had a lot on my plate (and it will only escalate) I seem to be having more and more bouts of anxiety and attacks. I was kidding myself by thinking I was okay. I went to talk to an advisor for school this past wednesday and all she said was single word and boom. I broke down right there but when I left the office I came unglued and went to hide in a bathroom. I ended up having a pretty crappy anxiety attack. I still needed to do some stuff that day but left early and went home to just...deal. I guess its not really the anxiety in itself that bothers me, its what associated with it. Some anxiety is normal but I tend to just brake and black out. I start to hyperventilate, my stomach feels like a knot and it hurts, I give myself a migraine then I get dizzy and a few other things. Its also more troublesome since I have asthma. Along with everything else I get tight in my chest and start to wheeze then spend the day having random coughing fits. The days that follow are somewhat blurry. I feel cloudy, I dont want to talk to anyone and I lose my appetite, sometimes I dont eat for days and I feel so energy drained. Its just...becoming too much and I feel like its hindering my ability to do anything effectively. I wanted to go in awhile ago for it but my mom was less then understanding and I lost the courage to do anything about it but now I dont care. I want and need to at least try to make it better. I'm just not sure what to expect?

I want to make 2 new characters. I have a species. Its the species of my dragons, the ones I mainly draw. However, I dont want to make them for myself so I was thinking that I will give them away for free. Heres the stuff!

- They are called "Ven'sha" dragons.

- You can give me specifics if you want. Colors, type, wings or no wings, big or small horns. I dont really care. The only thing I really want done is like if they have a theme (like space, fire, earth, wind, etc. No time themes though)
- You must be willing to use this character. I dont want to design one and it never get used or see the light of day. Since they are my species, I will most likely be willing to doodle them at times so free art is almost guaranteed
- Only 1 person may claim each. Like one person gets the male and one gets the female!

So lately I've been in this kind of...funk. I feel like everything I type out for new stories and ideas is just so bland and boring. Like it doesnt go anywhere, its uncreative and lacks in the wonder I used to be able to put out.

I used to be able to just fork out stories left and right. I would sit at my desk for hours and just type and type and type. It wasnt uncommon for me to put out 15 pages worth of story material/character development in a single sitting. But now...I feel like nothing is good any more and it bothers me to no end. I feel like my characters are crappy and have nothing special to them. The stories are shorter than they used to be and seem like theres no detail in them. And I'm just sitting here like...what happened? Why cant I do this good anymore?

So if anyone has any tips for getting through it that would be great.
