Wild-Roses, AKA Echo Local.

Wild-Roses Aka Echo Local lost her battle to cancer.
sense then i have been struggling to process this. it feels sureal. because we have lost friends to cancer befor and they always hit hard. but this one hits just alittle harder. because she had been with us for the longest time.
she was part of, one of the biggest games in our discord. and it was the longest running game we had going up until a few months ago when she reveiled to us she would be going into hospice care.
so time was against us to get the game finished. and we did.
heres just a few of her achivements. and moments id like to share here of her exploits.
first and formost she played 4 characters at Once
Sly the Goblin. Echo the bat. Echos sisters Sonar the paladin and Frostwing the Mana vamp barbarian.
somewhere in the start of the campange on the sister world she manages to piss off a hag into makeing a crude misjudgement and cast a spell to close that ended teh hags life instantly LOL.
She enterd a house belived to be haunted. only to discover that it was Filled with Mimics!
Her response was " Nope nope nope nope!" And proceeded to burn the house down XD. (previousely she attempted to appeal to some Mimic jewlery and offerd them to piggy back ride on her but they took this as an offering of a free meal and when they tryed to nibble at her. Echo Vaulted herself into a nearby Lake to drown the mimics LOL)
She even managed to tick off the Big Bad Lich Amarok, durning their first encounter with him. supposedly thats not supposed to happen because lichs are cold calculating but nothing says their without emotion. they just cant feel anything (its a curse afterall. not a blessing. remember that DMs)
she managed to bring orcs back into the world. and awaken a long time rage in the Orcs of Alteria.
alittle bit more on this. You see. Orcs were one fo teh looseing races in ALteria. they lost their home and had to move over into the kingdoms of Humans, elves and dwarfs and were forced to adib by their laws or sufferign sever punishment. One law stated they had to grind down or remove their tusks. (its a pretty dark place okay)
but And the details are alttle bit skectcy at the moment but Echo. had somehow found a way to reach deep into the orcish mindset. durning a speech reignite that orcish passions. she was the spark that brought back the orcs passion for living. and thus. created an army that held back Amaroks undead forces so we (the main party) could sneak in where Amarok had the most influence and dismantle his network of undead spys and lutentants.
Sly and Echo even were able to reconnect with a Lost tribe of Deep bats and help them reconnect with the world, so now there are tribes of bats in my world LOL.
Sly adn Echo also were able to reach the highest rank in the Red Ravens. a Mostly Gobline based Delivery system useing giant Ravens as their main mode of transporation. (They also excist in Aeon but thats a completely different matter).
The Red Ravens were also instrumental as air support durning the seige of Leron's gnomish capitol. allowing for Echo, Sonar and Sly to Sneak past the main force and ON THEIR OWN without telling anyone managed to face up against the undead councle of Lerons corrupt leaders. (She did this alot btw. running off on her own XDLOL such highjinks!))
Oh yes lets not forget the time that she Dream walked with the help of another Orc witch. and Snuck into Amaroks Tower!, and as a barely percivable phantom of herself, Convinced a Ratlign alchmist to turn her back on Amarok! Echo and Sly even managed to spy on Cindraga! Amaroks cheif lutentiant and dragoness mother to his abomination of a son Enokh!
She even went Back to the tower in another dream walker moment to taunt Amaroks other lutentiant (unintetionaly) Marrick the deathknight. but this was more to retreive the Bloodstoen that prevented Ark and his kin from entering ALteria.
Because Ark had been hunting Amarok for ages because Amarok had basicly destroyed Arks old tribe in Acheron! GAH! (Acheron being Alterias sister world. their connected by laylines)
My gosh this batty did so much! GAH hard to keep up with. theres still so much to go over and reminise. and Im sure my other players will perhaps toss in thier Own experiances. And this is just ONE GAME. she has another character (Whom i will have be playing as an NPC now) IN another game. ill have to get into soon enough.
this was a really big help. i feel alittle better now about thsi past week. just being able to talk about it because i havent shared much of the accual games. i problay should. i do what i can.

My Thoughts on the DMPC.
Posted 3 weeks agoSo. for a while now. i have had DMPCs in most of my games. only as a lack of player base do i do this? haveing 1 or 2 players in any given group on my discord.
they help fill in a critical role sometimes and sometimes, the players get companions. so yeah.
anyhoo. my advice on DMPCs is, dont do it unless you know how to keep them balanced. and You will end up haveing that super anime moment. but so long as it dosent throw the rest of the game off. OR make the entier game about your one DMPC.
I only recommend DMpcs if you dont have enough players in your group. otherwise. focus on the other NPCS and if you have to have one? keep them low spec. check them against your PC's stats, typicaly my rule of thumb now is keep my DMPCs at least 2-3 levels lower than your main PCs group. and dont have any abilitye score higher than a 15 or 16. (magic items and so on are still okay.) but the point is.
Its still all about the Players and what their doing. Companion Dmpcs are Okay, they serve to help PCs have someone eles to bounce off of. but otherwise DownPlay the role of the DMPC.

World Setting Breakdowns
Posted a month ago(I could do these a hundred times and still never get close to fully accuratey describing each world. but im going to try anyways.)

Atheria/Lasthaven: The first world. created as a sort of Haven or Sancurary. a place for where ideas can become reality. origonaly craeted with the intent that you can do pretty much anything you want without repercusions (albeit, do what you want without harming another. this was the idea). Last haven has always been sort of a Hub world of new characters, a launching pad if you will, for ideas and character concepts, to try things out. very little in the way of a system was ever utilized for this world. its been a Freeform sort of style of gameplay. with as few dice rolls getting involved. Useing the Storyteller system however, dose seem to work (idealiy teh range of success and failure is dependant on a straight d100 roll. with 1 being really teh best result you can get. while rolling higher means the worst thing could happen. and varying degrees in the middle.)
Alteria: the second world formed between two opposeing minds. reallly challanged us to creat somehing that was, basicly everything we loved about vidoegames and concepts like warhammer, warcraft, berserk, and other ideals that were badass based in fantasy. we desinged whole nations filled with mortal races. while also haveing this idea that really all Alteria was is a Battleground for higher up entities to basicly play the universeal equivlant of Chess. with large scale numbers of armies vs armies and sometimes, small groups vs armies. OR against really OP Baddies. this was teen and angst all over the place.
Andovia was my one contribution to Alteria that provided a place for furries. at the time i didnt realize what that world ment. and we just called them Beastmen. while i was the player in this setting and someone eles took the reigns as DM. i did coach them on how to run a game based on the players decisions. what Andovia represents in Alteria is a place untouched by the trappings of the rest of the world. its further north so it dosent get alot of involvment from other nations. its also small but has the largest deposites of highly prized minirals and resorces. makeing it one of the very few places in Alteria where you can find the things mortals need to battle those supernatural entities trying to coeace their wills.
Enderon: Its a modern take on the DND setting, with cyberpunk and shamanism tossed in. its what i always imagined Shadowrun to be like with haveing so little exposruse to that setting/system. Enderon is based entierly on my own take on cyberpunk but in a more modernized setting rather being super high end technology, even tho it excists. ther are elemets however of an older much more ancent and Spiritual jounrey here. Enderon lends itself to a mix of things honeslty. and allows for a very introspective take on modern plus scifi with fantasy thrown in.
Acheron: high fantasy with a more Conan the barbarian feel to it. its rough, very rough, everywhere you go theres going to be challanges. it was an early take on what we see in Sword and Sorcery type fantasy setting. desgined to challange survival in an otherwise hostile world. danger lurks around every corner and the DM will not be doing any hand holding. this was Ment to challange players abilities to survival.
Aeon: based entierly on JRPGs of the time. its a systematic world, with its variouse reagons based on 7 elements, 7 sages, 7 primals. its high fantasy with high technology in a Utopian World. YES it is a Utopia, Most people and creatures get along. but there are some rough patchs to smooth out. with a gear and mod system not found anywhere eles in DND. Aeon lends itself to alot of NPC Cameos from other games. haveing No relation with those games. it allows me to excersie some desires i have deep down in terms of player and npc interaction. and the occasional showboating. Aeon has a personal feel to it that i sort of cheris. and its hard not to say its one of my favorite settings.
Arudnell: A very new world that was just created for the sole purpose of learning and playing pathfidner rules. however. its also a throw back to an age when. Not everyone gets along. even the 4 kingdoms between humanoinds. dont always get along. humans, elfs, dwarves and halflings, make up the dominate races in this world. while monsterouse races are seen as teh lower forms of life and get bullied everyday. makes for some dynamic story telling and allows us to challange those establishments and really put it to the man. is ment to be a place where no one gets along. and challanges those racel and speicse dynamics. Playing as any other race besids the 4 mentioned. is putting the game on hardmode in terms of socal norms. and should be an intresting ride for anyone looking to beat the system.

Posted 2 months agoSo now that I have subscribed to heroforges Premium access. Im able to kitbash and do backgrounds. Be Aware that I will be. Updateing alot of my Images!
basicly Ill probaly be adding backgrounds to current characters and just replaceing images with the new ones. keeping most of the desings the same. probaly kinker with a few things here or there and play around with the kitbashing. but yes. somethign to look forward to here ^w^

But Ozzy man. I grew up listening to his songs. didnt own any of his albums (i basicly had no money as a teen dang it) Didnt stop me from appreciating his music.
but he still left an impact on us.

Tired and Angery
Posted 10 months agoIv always been like this. always tired and always angery. I have tried to be optimistic and attempted a peaceful life without pain and suffering. but i cannot ignor the fact anymore that iv always been an angery indiviaual.
im tired of people mostly. as an introvert is always found peace when im alone. sometimes people are great. in small short doses. but lets be frank. people in general are stupid dumb panicy animals who dont think.
when someone makes a comment about something to someone they dont know without considering the consquinces. especaly if that person is as immature as a child is. it can leave an impression and cause others to instantly burn bridges.
I use to be the kind of person who would try very very hard to understand why someone is the way they are. and try to make amends and someone fix the problem. but im so very tired and feel walked all over without getting anywhere. people have issues. people have problems. Im tired of trying ot fix people. im done with it.
from now on im just going to let things be and move on my own path. ignoring those who. dont matter to me.
If you want to have an intellgent conversation with me fine lets have one and mabey even debate alittle. sure im alright with that.
but do no assume anything. you do that your makeing an ass out of u and me.
life has enough problems in it already that we dont need ignorant immature children makeing stupid mistakes and leaveing comments without context of their arguments.

I speak hypcriticaly of corse. iv had my Scream on the hill moments too. iv tried to make thigns right and i have tried to shout out. but im a silent protaganist in my own story. while others may view me as the villian. i have just one thing to say to them.

then ask others what they think. im sure everyone around you will agree that your the hero.
but deep down.
you know you think yourself a villian. and youll be alright with that..
because your doing the right thing rigth?
you are. just remember that. Your doing what YOU think is right.
while others may not think that. just remember. no ones looking. no ones watching. until they do when you make a stupid mistake out of lust, vanity or some other personal gain thing. your doing it for YOUr own sake. and no one eles.
there is nothing more charitable than doing something that hurts you tohelp another. remember that. personal sacrifice is strong when its to save another persons life but there is always a cost.
and humans in genral. are selfish. theyll do things for their own gain.
and we as a soceity. have benefited from helping each other. so just remember. your not just helping yourself but hurting others when you do something so stupid that it makes you the fool. espealy when no ones looking. the damage cannot be undone.
all that being said.

im tired of people mostly. as an introvert is always found peace when im alone. sometimes people are great. in small short doses. but lets be frank. people in general are stupid dumb panicy animals who dont think.
when someone makes a comment about something to someone they dont know without considering the consquinces. especaly if that person is as immature as a child is. it can leave an impression and cause others to instantly burn bridges.
I use to be the kind of person who would try very very hard to understand why someone is the way they are. and try to make amends and someone fix the problem. but im so very tired and feel walked all over without getting anywhere. people have issues. people have problems. Im tired of trying ot fix people. im done with it.
from now on im just going to let things be and move on my own path. ignoring those who. dont matter to me.

Chnaged the name of things . Things we had. Our rights.
Liek the afforable care act. They changed the NAME the Label of the affirable care act to Obamacare and made it sound Scary and wrong and all that nonsense.
And people got scared of Obamacare and vecause it was downplayed people stoped thining abiut how important it was and so they forgot.
It took time people. This was all planned. They scammed you.
So do your research. Whe they say soemthing is bad for you, or scary, or evil or vile and its not theirs.
They taling about your rights people.
They are trying to scamm you out if your freedomes. Scamm you out of your rights.

it feels like we have been here befor. skirting the dangerouse edge of the precipace of accual darkness. what they want is us to be afread. well. Dont be.
Endure. Endure and vote. do what you are legaly able to do to push back agenst this evil regime that wants to take over. Stop the obression and rise up out of the darkness above it. Endure the evil men. For soon their age will catch up with them (As it is already happening. Death comes for everyone. and no one is above natural order)
endure. be paitant and when the time is right. do your duty for the sake and safety of all us free souls. cause nothing last forever. not even evil. not even.
