This might come as a bit of a shock to some people if they don't know me, but I'm now at the point where several factors combined have led me to feel that even the thought of drawing anything is not gonna be fun at all anymore.

To put it simply, I just feel like a fraud. I have virtually zero actual art skill - I'd say that 90% of what I do is heavily referenced, to the point that anytime I don't have a reference to hand, my mind completely blanks and I'm unable to draw even the simplest of things by myself. I wanted to believe that despite that, the stuff I produced was still okay, but I'm struggling to even believe that anymore, given how little attention I get when I do post art at times. Combine all that with a constant underlying self-inflicted pressure to keep uploading art anyway, and it's now become too much for me to handle.

To put it bluntly, I've been lacking any kind of motivation to draw recently, and if I have to be honest, I think it's going to be a while before it returns at this point. I've talked about this topic fairly often with people that know me on Discord, but I feel like I should mention it here as well.

The problem is, I'm not an obscure artist anymore. I haven't been for around 2 years, ever since I got 100 watchers on here. And while I will always be grateful for everyone that has done so, I need to admit that it ends up putting a lot of internalized pressure on myself. There's a lot more "I should be drawing to keep the masses happy" than "I want to draw a thing for fun and perhaps people will like it" now.

I never wanted fame, or popularity, when I started drawing. I never thought I'd do more than a couple pictures, and that I'd only end up with a handful of watchers and a couple people who really enjoyed my stuff. I'm... long past that, and I've never quite figured out how to process it internally.

I don't know how long it'll be before I start drawing again. I don't want to mention any kind of timeframe, as yet again that will just add pressure. And yet, I feel the need to apologise in advance, even though most people will probably support this. I will say, that I don't want to stop drawing altogether. I just need time to myself, I think.

That's right, I'm doing this once again, as a small way to give back to all of the people who watched me in the first place - how long has it been since the last one? I don't wanna check lol

After over three years, I have made the decision to make my very own Discord server, dedicated to all the bellylovers out there! (and because I don't know of anywhere else so I figured screw it, make my own)

This server will focus on bellies of all kinds - inflation, fat, vore, whatever - if it's round, it's allowed! (just no sexually explicit stuff as it's not my thing lol) and is intended to be relatively chill. Just a place where we can chat and share our love for all things tum!

I probably should have done this a while back to be honest, but yeah, just in case anyone happens to wonder where my art has gone if they're only seeing General stuff, it's not been deleted, I just changed the maturity level because I feel like it's better this way.

So it's been a nice 5-6 weeks away, but it's about time I give people a little update on things.

First off, I have been getting back into drawing, and during my upload break I have drawn a couple of pictures which I will post here over the first half of next month starting on the 1st. I also have a 2023 art summary which I will post in a couple days or so, so look forward to that too.

Next, I've decided that I'm gonna branch out my content a bit and draw other belly-focused things that aren't vore specifically. I do actually like any and all belly-related fetishes (some of which more than vore!) and it would be nice to draw more of that instead of feeling like I should stick with only vore, so expect a little more diverse content (but still pure belly stuff) from now on.

As of typing this journal, I've now received a grand total of 2,500 favourites among all my uploads, and I just want to give a big thank you to every single person who's been here and enjoyed the stuff I make. Normally, I would go ahead and do one of my rare milestone raffles to celebrate the occasion and I had plans to do so all the way up to about a week ago, but honestly, my motivation to draw has dipped to an all time low now, and I just don't have the mindset required to organise one.

Because of this, it's time I force myself to take a good, long break from uploading, and as such I will not be posting any more drawings until 1st January 2024 at the very earliest. I need to rediscover the fun in drawing, and feeling like I *have* to upload stuff here on at least a semi-regular basis is just removing that entirely. This has honestly been going on for quite a while and I've tried my best to power through, but it only seems to be getting worse, which became really obvious whilst drawing my most recent Indeedee picture.

So yeah, a big, thank you to everyone for being here, faving, commenting, and watching, but it's time I take a good amount of time to myself now, and I'll see you here sometime hopefully in the early new year.

As of this journal, this person has now reposted 4 of my artworks onto their profile, with zero indication that they didn't make the art themselves, and they even just straight-up copied and pasted the whole description of one of them, presumably trying to pretend they made the art themselves (which, any look at theit gallery for more than a few seconds makes it obvious that this isn't the case as there's a mix of artworks from multiple different artists among their low-effort edits.)

Moreso out of curiousity than anything, I'm intrested in what exactly people here like about what I make. I've never been one to put any real value onto my art, and personally it doesn't really feel like I do anything special, so I'd like to hear any thoughts that you have.

Just a quick update on the status of my other accounts:

The main thing is Itaku, anyone watching me over there has already seen that I have my whole main gallery up there now, and while I won't be checking in on the site often, I will be using that as a backup gallery from now on. They are all completely empty as of now, and some may just stay that way because I would prefer to keep FA as my main place to upload things. If I do end up properly using one of them in addition to here, I'll let you all know. I do plan on having my main gallery in its entirety posted somewhere else, but exactly where has yet to be decided.

As is news to no-one at this point, stuff has gone down today regarding pokemon and digimon in art, and considering over 95% of my gallery is pokemon, this could likely end up affecting me in some way. So here's what I have to say about this whole thing.

To put it simply, I don't care enough. It's blunt, but it's true.

The only reason I'm here making art at all is because I find it a fun activity to do in my spare time. Not for fame, money, or attention. FA is merely the place where I decided to post my drawings. As a result, I don't value the stuff I do that highly at all. Because of that, it won't bother me as much if some of my pictures get reported, or worse, I get banned. Also, even if I wanted to try and clean up my gallery, that's gonna be an impossible task to do with the vague wording. I mean, small pokemon while childlike proportions? What if someone decides Meltan counts under that description? I'm literally screwed. (pun not intended)

So I'm not going to change anything. I'm keeping all my art up, and will continue to upload whatever I feel like making. I will try my best to keep all my art on here for people to see, but if the worst comes to worst and I somehow get banned, I may upload them onto Twitter just so they are somewhere. My handle there is @ Lattan380808. I don't post there now, but it's there if I need it. I doubt I'll migrate to another site completely.

Truthfully, I have hope that this is all kinda drastic, and maybe in a week or 2 weeks time, there will be a revision that relaxes this ruling or at least clarifies it more. But we shall have to wait and see, and hope for the best.

I know I asked for ideas recently, but I've just not been in the mood to draw at all and I thought those would help, but despite me receiving a suggestion I really loved from that I still cannot muster up the motivation to actually draw it, so I'm going to be taking a break for an uncertain time until hopefully that changes. I feel like there's some mental problems that I don't want to get into here that is affecting things, so yeah.

Today (or yesterday, depending on your timezone but shhhh) marks the 2-year anniversary of my first ever upload to this site! I don't have anything planned for this because honestly it kinda just crept up on me, but regardless, I want to use this moment to give you all a huge thanks for just being here and deciding to give me a watch. Regardless of if you only found me recently or have been watching since the start, I do appreciate every single one of you all, and hopefully I shall continue to make art you all like.

It's now been one whole year since I uploaded the first refsheet of Lattan, which is also its first apperance with the colour-swapped scheme distinguishing it from "normal" Meltan. I had drawn a couple self-insert things before that, but that marks the first time I made an actual character for that purpose. In a way, you could consider it to be a birthday, but also it's not *my* birthday, nowhere near it. That's in July, if anyone's wondering.

I've thought about doing this for a little while but never got around to it until now, if anyone has anything they'd like to ask me/my sona then comment them here I guess. I may do some quick drawings of answers too, depends on how many questions I get and if I feel like it, but I'll at least comment on everything at the very least.
