Rest in peace Dragoneer
Posted a year agoDragoneer was one of the first sonas I saw. I was very much into digimon at the time, and it was such a cool design. As I looked into them, it turned out they liked a bunch of stuff I was into. Not only that, they were a core part of a community.
As the weird kid, this made me feel less alone in a way that's hard to explain. It's hard to quantify how significant his existent was to me. I never interacted with him, so it feels weird to be so sad about this. I think I saw a lot of myself in him. I had a habit of keeping up with there journals and just seeing how they were doing. Part of the sadness is that their last FA journal seemed a little hopeful. His passing feels so sudden.
It's so unfair that he was so sick for his remaining time here. It makes me angry, but I don't know who to be angry at. The best I can do knowing let it be known that Dragoneer positively affected people he didn't even know existed. I am living proof.
I don't believe in any religion... but I think I can suspend my disbelief and hope that he made it to the digi-realm. Rest in peace. You deserved better.
