Hey guys, just wanted to throw out a quick update of sorts. c:
SLIGHT delay on artwork, I did leave a message over on Trello but should have probably posted it here too.
I've just moved house! Still a lot of things to unpack, but we've just had internet installed!!
I'm guessing end of the week before I'll be able to comfortably draw again, of which I'll be continuing my current commission queue.

Hey Guys!
Just letting you guys know that I'm opening again for Sketch commissions!!
I've just found out that my cat is pregnant, and I want to try pull together some money to save for upcoming vet bills. ;3;

Had to temporarily stop my Patreon also, as I just have a lot going on right now and I'm struggling to find time to draw for you guys.
I'll be completing everything owed from this month (Jan) on Patreon.
Gutted as I've only recently got a nice new setup for streaming and gaming and stuff, but ahwell.
I just have a lot of commitment with my job right now, and any free time I get ends up being spent resting pretty much!
I'll be lurking around on discord, and I may offer the occasional on-the-spot commissions for when I have immediate free time and want to draw.

I've been away for a fortnight on the lovely little island of Ibiza <3
I know I've been quite quiet in general, but I have been working on commissions and such (I've been mostly just updating Trello more than anything)
Also been dealing with a lot at work, stressful, exhausting things that I really don't think anyone is interested in hearing, but TLDR my current manager has been sacked for being a terrible person, and I'm also probably moving store (actually trading positions with Meep/Zest who is also an assistant manager of a different store, but in the same region)
But, I don't actually go back to work until tomorrow, so I'd like to not think about that anyway :V
ANYWAY,
I feel like my little trip abroad is what I really needed to refresh my motivation and inspiration with drawing.
I'm aiming to get everything I owe done and out of the way ASAP.
To keep it brief, I have about 8-9 characters left on the YCH, and I think I mentioned before but due to underestimating the size of the final piece I'm having to re-do the background.
Leaving the background until last, so I'm not wasting any more time. I am PMing out the individual pieces and also sticking it on the Trello card as I get them done so people aren't having to wait until the piece is finally complete to get art.
To get my creative juices flowing, I could really do with some stuff to doodle/sketch, just to get used to my tablet again as I have also replaced the nib.
So feel free to leave a request in the comments. Can be OC, canon characters, preferably ponies but hey ho, suggest something anyway.
*** I am not in any way promising I will do every request, I'm just going to pick and choose a few to work with to get used to drawing!
For real though, if this Journal is more than a couple days old, don't bother commenting because I'll have already gotten back into the swing of things by then! ***
Also I'm thinking of doing a weekly request journal once I'm upto date with everything I owe. Just to keep the juices flowing! Lemme know what you think - should I do it as a journal, maybe a form to fill out that I just pick and choose from when I feel like, or maybe a weekly livestream for requests. I'd love to hear some ideas! another generic post

But yeah basically a TLDR for those who cba reading - I've been promoted to Assistant Manager, which requires me to move store to one a LOT closer to home (IE, 20 minutes away on a bus, not an hour and a half on a train).
Due to the circumstances, I've been quite busy, and will be for at least the next week coming up.
Today is my last day off for quite some time, as the transition between stores means I'm going to be working atleast a full week straight before I get another day off.
On the plus side of this, I will be home sooner, and a lot less tired so I'll probably be able to work on art in evenings. :3

SO, the UK is leaving the EU.
The pound has crashed quite a bit.

As you can see, it's dropped significantly. It's not been this low in over 43 years.
Now, for friends of mine I've seen them severely impacted with this :/
To make it a bit easier to understand art wise - go back to before this all happened...
I would charge £10 for a piece of art, and if you were in the US, you would be sending approximately $16 dollars.
It now only costs $13 dollars, so basically it's 20% off.
Now to me, it wont make much of a difference - I'll still charge £10, and people who have non-GBP currencies will get a better deal.
I'm not gonna go into a massive political debate, but I'm just going to leave it saying that I voted remain. I want to be a part of the EU.
The Xenophobia that's come of this is off the charts and it's disgusting. I have friends who fear of speaking in public for it, and if I see ANYONE saying this shit I swear to god I'm going to flip.
NGL I cried when I found out the results. It's shit.
Anyway, idk I just wanted to throw in my two cents (HUE MORE LIKE £5 am I RITE).
But yeah, gonna stream later today.

SO, today I have a few things to do, namely nip out and vote in the EURef today...
I've also got a few fursuit parts to clean; if you follow me on twitter you probably saw I did the bodysuits on Tuesday. Sooo that shouldn't take too long, as it's mainly the feet, handpaws and inside the heads.

OH HEY
Sorry for going dark on you guys, I've just been so busy with work!
Not only is it full time, but my general routine is getting up at 6:30am and then I don't get home until about 7:30pm, once I've eaten, sorted housework, been to the gym and done other things, I literally crash for the night so I don't get much free time.
Not that it's a problem - I l o v e my job. Just means I have a lot less time for things like art and games. ;3;
Those that are in my queue - need not worry - now I've settled into my routine a bit, I'm going to be working on these on my days off!
With that being said, I'm going to livestream in a few hours if anyone wants to pop by and chat, that would be awesome. I've really missed catching up with people. Usually I get telegram messages but end up falling asleep before I can reply. BUT my job is awesome, so I can usually chat during the day when it's quiet <3
BUT YEAH. TLDR, I'm alive, doing cool things, a bit busy but overall everything is goood.Away for a while...
General | Posted 10 years agoJust a quick heads up/reminder for those that may have missed my previous journals mentioning - but as of tomorrow, I'm unfortunately not going to be able to work on commissions/artwork for a short while.
I tend to update my trello a little more frequently than elsewhere now, as it's the platform that people can easily see/access across the multiple sites I use.
But yeah, I'm finally going on training for my new job! :D
It took a while, because they had to book the hotel, arrange to pay for travel expenses, do various checks and such, and I'm also basically getting all my transport and food there paid for too. <3 I've never been in the hands of a more reliable, lovely company.
I digress, I'm about 90% sure that as soon as I come off training, I'll be straight into full time work.
In all honesty I was hoping to get more done than I have the past week, but I've been ill for the past few days so almost everything hit the back burner as far as productivity goes.
ANYWAY the important thing is for those that have commissioned me, don't worry! I'll still get your wonderful pieces finished. Just the next week or so is going to be a bit busy for me whilst I settle into my new role c:

I've been quite quiet recently so I thought I should probably quickly update you guys with what's going on currently!
SO, getting straight down to business with art - I'm currently working through my queue.
Doing what I can - I had a pretty busy week last week, but hopefully I should have a bit more time now to sit and get shit done.
I'm AIMING to get my telegram sticker queue done whilst going through the wing-it pieces.
So, sketch, send for approval, work on wing-it's until I get approval, finish off telegram stickers, rinse and repeat. xD
I have a YCH that I'll be posting sometime tomorrow too. I'm actually in love with the theme of it, hopefully you guys will like it too!
Just need to finish the sketch and tidy things up a bit so it's not /too/ rough around the edges!
But yeah, aside from that, steady as she goes.
In terms of personal stuff - I try to avoid talking about it too much, but I get so excited haha.
Last week I finalized some last bits of paperwork, and I should get training dates for my new job in the coming week!

BUT, they have everything now, and training means me travelling to a different city for a few days, which they pay for -
so I can understand that it's going to take time to organize that, and no doubt the other people that will be doing training too.

TMI TUESDAY - ABDL - What does it mean to you?
General | Posted 10 years agoI've decided I wanna ask you guys more things and get a bit more involved.
Pre emptive warning that this is probably TMI, but hey it's Tuesday, etc etc.
In regards to the ABDL / Babyfur / Diaper fetish community in general, I just have an open question:
What does it mean to you?
Is it a way to escape after a long stressful day/week/experience?
Something that's purely fictitious and something you just like seeing drawn?
Or is it something that you tie in with another interest such as BDSM?
For me personally, I'd say it's predominantly a fetish. In the sense of it being more a sexual thing.
A few years ago, I'd use it as a comfort kinda thing, but really, there's a limit of what you can do when you don't really like the regression/ab side of things.
(Not that I don't find it cute, I quite enjoy drawing it! Just not something I can personally enjoy/get into.)
Surprisingly, despite the amount of things I draw, and the amount I have stashed away, it's something that is actually very rarely partaken in IRL for me.
I'd say... less than once a month. Honestly.
I do own a few Paci's (thanks to thestargrazer >_>) and a few kigus/onesies, but that's really the limit for anything aside from diapers in general.
The "mindset" is something I've never been able to settle into. Go back 4-5 year and I did to use them for comfort, sleep in them, and...
...I, suppose feel a bit "little". It was something I especially treated myself to when I was having old mother nature visit. I don't have that issue anymore because yay sciencey plastic shoved in my arm, but >_> <_< I dunno, I kinda miss that. >_> maybe I can make it a new years resolution
So TLDR; For me, it's more fetish based. Whilst there are some, eh, borderline AB aspects I like, it's extremely rare I indulge in it as a fetish, let alone anything more. I do often draw it however, which I thoroughly enjoy doing!
