I no longer am in need of a place to sleep for AC. Thank you all for the help, and offers and thoughts! A friend is willing to put me up for free about 30 minutes from the convention center for the weekend.

So to start off, I know it's been pretty much forever (at least it feels like it) since I've been active on here. Something I hope to remedy over the next few weeks.

My master just recently suggested that I read the book Waterways by Kyell Gold. (only a week ago in fact).

I've finished the book and had SEVERAL emotional moments while reading it. Good emotions, bad emotions, tears all around. It's very well written and extremely easy to get drawn in. I just couldn't get enough of the characters.

I have a lot more to say about it, but it's very specific to the plot and wouldn't want to ruin anything for anyone who hasn't read it yet. I STRONGLY recommend reading it though if you haven't yet.

I have been thinking of creating an alt fursona. Something about my husky has become a little tired. I love the husky still, and it very much represents a part of me, but it's still not the full me. I don't know that I'll ever find a single character that will ever fully be me. But I'm thinking of making an otter. I've always loved the water ever since I was a young boy and took to it so quickly. My mother is deathly afraid of deep water and to this day still has no idea how I learned to swim. Truth be told... I just jumped into the deep end of the pool when I was a kid and started to swim. No lessons, no learning curve, just did it. I don't have a specific reason why the otter though. I suppose because it's still a mammal and it's aquatic. The main thing is I wanted aquatic, and otters seem the closest to canine to me lol.

I'm thinking a rust colored otter with all four paws looking like they were dipped in black ink. Also a black spot in the center of his chest where his solar plexus is. Bright green eyes.

I'm still debating on names though. I'd be happy to take suggestions or votes on these if you have one you really like:

ALSO! To everyone that started watching me since I kinda went MIA, thanks for the watches and faves and everything else. There's wayyyy too much for me to catch up on to do it personally... but I wanted to convey to you all how much I appreciate it. :3

Just because everyone else is either bitching or raving about diablo three, i decided to figure out what all the fuss is about. I've gotten myself a playable copy of diablo and am delving my way through the game. I have played a bit of the first, but never played it much. As of current, I'm playing a rogue, am level 10, and have started over three times lol. It seems a lot easier than I remember it being, but it's keeping me entertained for the moment. Hopefully I'll actually gleen some sort of story from it that will inform me on what the hell is going on besides some sort of demon infestation in a church which for some reason has a HUGE labyrinth built beneath it.

Alright so last night I had a few odd dreams. Usually I look to my dreams to have a meaning behind them or a message that needs conveyed from my subconscious to my conscious self. However I feel like last night was just a 'weird' dream night.

It started off as one dream and then I had another that was equally as odd. In the first I was a teen again and at a HUUUUUGE church doing an all day sunday mass. The entire thing was in an outdoor cathedral styled amphitheater. There were ppl EVERYWHERE. Tons of food vendors and christian rock bands playing all over the place, over top of each other I should add. I'm walking around lost as to where to go or what to do and I end up meeting a few others that seem to be about my age. But they weren't friendly in the least, they mocked me for my outfit and scoffed that I wasn't cool enough to hang out with them, then they snuck off to go smoke cigarettes. Then I noticed that the entire arena was filled with kids and they were all engaged in some sort of 'negative' activity. Tobacco, alcohol, marijuana.. I think I even saw some needles >_>. I know all this sounds extremely detailed, but that's how my dreams are usually. It's like I step into another reality basically.

So I eventually just go back stage of one of the bands playing areas and just sit by myself trying to find some peace and realizing that this whole arena was nothing but noise and hypocrisy. It was about then I woke up and rolled over to sleep more since I had another hour before I needed to shower lol.

At this point I fell into a dream world that was an odd mixture of family guy and simpsons styled animation if you can imagine such a combo. I'm a passenger in a car as a young child to start and the two adults in the front (i think it was marge simpson and peter griffon honestly lol) start arguing about where they want to go. We're driving through the middle of nowhere and one wants to go one way and the other wants to go the other. Eventually they split ways and me and the other kid in the back are asked to choose. I want to say I'll go with marge, but I know the other child would choose her too, so to make peter feel better I choose to go with him. We drive for a while before we find a cozy place to stop. It looks like a nice neighborhood rural area. Someone is cooking burgers and invites us inside. They're actually having a huge rave inside their house! For some reason, at this point I'm in my mid 30's and hanging out with brian trying to pick up girls. We both end up cock-blocking the other trying to get after the same girl and argue. I step outside and I see a cat that's got a remote in it's paw. Then I notice it's pointing the remote at an enclosed area that has snowmen inside it. Suddenly the snowmen come to life and try to attack me! So I pick up the cat and start tickling it while cradling it in my arm, it drops the remote and the snowmen go inanimate again. I quickly ran inside and tried to warn brian that we needed to get out of there before the snowmen eat us (lol. dreams right?). That was about where I woke up there.

sooo, yeah. The first one I can KINDA see some meaning about trying to fit in with a crowd that isn't good for me and forcing myself into a situation that is uncomfortable. but the carnivorous snowmen being controlled by a cartoon (non-anthro) cat? >_> No idea.

Any one else have any thoughts?? lol

Just wanted to share a response I received a few days ago. I emailed one of my State Senators here in PA about the issue of Gay Marriage, asking his views on the issue and if he would help to fight for equality in the US and in PA. Here is the response I recieved....

As stated in the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) enacted in 1996, federal law does not currently recognize same-sex marriages. In addition, 31 states have enacted state constitutional amendments defining marriage as between one man and one woman. Other states, including Pennsylvania, have laws establishing same-sex unions as a violation of state public policy. In recent years, certain state courts have addressed the constitutionality of state laws which limit marriage to heterosexual couples. These rulings have led to legalized marriage between same-sex couples in multiple states. In both the Senate and House of Representatives, various resolutions have been introduced in recent Congresses that would amend the Constitution to define marriage. These resolutions have failed to garner enough votes to pass either chamber.

If you're as appalled as I am by this bureaucratic lack of an answer, then I urge you to take a stand and start emailing your own senators about this issue. The more voices are heard, the more likely we will actually see some real change here. I've included a link below that lists every state senator in the U.S. as well as their political affiliation. Find yours and send them a quick email with your opinion on the matter. It could make the difference between equality and legalized discrimination.

Feeling unusually blah tonight. I have spent a good amount of the day with a few of my mom's friends and her, which was pretty fun mind you, and I got some crocheting done on my masters scarf (about half done now, but no where near as done as i'd like). I've been upstairs and laying in bed for about an hour just perusing the internet. I should be trying to sleep but i'm not even tired. I have to be into work tomorrow at 6am for freight. Blech... at least it'll be an early day, only there till about 1:30. So... after pawing, playing some games, and just generally being bored... I might try to sleep again. Doubt it'll happen.

As a side note, this isn't due to insomnia, this is due to the fact that I slept in till about 1pm today, lol, so really it's my own fault.

Truely hate living with my mother sometimes... I had pretty much decided that it was time, i really wanted a dog. I even did the research and found a few dogs that are in need of a home. They're fixed, have their shots, they're all taken care of! But my mother just simply said 'no'.. I feel like such a child for thinking this, but I can't wait to get out of here and be able to have full control over my own life. I'm 23 for christ's sake, I'm pretty sure that if I want to have a dog, then I'm clearly responsible enough to take care of it. Bleh >_<

I got to spend all day chatting with my master today. Something I haven't been able to do in a very long time. It re-affirmed how much we love each other and was just in general a really great time. *hugs his master* Thank you so much for being in my life hon, you make it all worth while ^_^

Alright so every family has them for the common cold. I've got a terribad cold that is trying it's damnedest to kick my ass. In my family it's just a spoonfull of honey, lots of gargling with salt water and looooooots of vitamin c each morning (like about 4-5 grams worth... more than 2000% the recommended daily dose). While this NORMALLY works for me, this one just keeps trucking.

I had a few different ppl at work (alone and at different times) tell me to put vicks on my feet before bed and take a shot of whiskey. Since I'm not a big fan of hard alcohol i'm skipping the shot, but i'm gonna try the vicks thing tonight. Also put a little on my chest and neck while i was at it, so we'll see how that works.

But yeah, what crazy remedies does your family have for the common cold? Do they work? And finally, if they DO work, why the hell aren't the pharmaceutical companies making millions off of it?! lol

I got a new headset this year for christmas. noise cancelling. very loud. extra bass. LOVE IT!

Well I'll just get to the point on this one. I work on cement flooring. Walking around for 8 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. Carrying and lifting heavy things. My feet HURT when i get home. Sometimes I kinda limp my way through the driveway after sitting for 20 minutes on the way home. I finally broke down and tried one of those machines in walmart to test your foot pressure and arch height to see if you need an orthopodic shoe thingy (yes, that's the technical term for it!)

I use the machine, it tells me I have high pressure and low arches. Basically, flat-feet. It suggests whichever model of the 6 it holds. I look at the price... $50. I notice they have a 100% money back guarantee if not completely satisfied. Figure 'what the hell, give them a shot, if they don't help, I'll get my money back.'

I wore them tonight while working on our truck delivery. 3-12 with a half hour lunch. While my feet are still sore.. they're not AS sore as they normally would be. I honestly think the things really helped, which seems odd because it actually was uncomfortable to wear the orthopodics in my shoes. I'm gonna give it a few more days and see how it'll work out. It's a 6 day work week for me, my next day off is sunday, so by then I should know if the $50 was worth it or not.

I'll keep you guys informed on whether the machine can be trusted to tell you what you need or not ^_^

Well with a little deliberation and a realization in the fact that it just doesn't interest me anywhere near as much as it used to, I've officially cancelled my wow subscription. I'm likely not going to play it again, ever. It just changed too much since I started and they intend to change it more. It's not the game I fell in love with and it's just not as fun as it used to be.

In place, I've found that DDO is actually kinda fun, and it's free! I'm gonna give this a shot for a while and see if it can hold my interest, but considering my love for dungeons and dragons, I doubt it wont.

On the topic of cancelling subscriptions, I'm also cancelling my xbox gold live account and netflix. Netflix because I found a free website that offers the same service with a better selection! Xbox because the only reason I kept it was for netflix XD. So... all in all, i'm saving myself at minimum, 35 bucks a month lol. Amazing how quickly stuff like that adds up!

I've had nothing to do today and even still i feel absolutely drained. i'm exhausted and have no real reason for it >>

On top of that, i've felt blah all day and just wanted everyone to leave me alone. if i didn't have a penis I'd wonder if i was starting my cycle >_>

Alright so, the orange espresso chocolates turned into a big hit. Or even some traditional favorites that you really like. the more ideas i have the better. I'm actually hoping to possibly turn this into a side business now. I'm gonna ask my manager if i can put up a small list of chocolates i can/want to make in the break room with prices for orders. I'm fairly certain she'll be okay with it, so who knows. With the holiday season coming up I might be able to make an extra few bucks to get christmas stuffs for everyone ^_^

Orange infused semi-sweet chocolate with crushed espresso beans and one whole bean set on top of a rolled ball. They are delicious and wonderful ^_^

My car.. is junk, it's a literal pile of junk that is not fixable. it has no bottom to the frame, it has no transmission, the engine is out, and it no longer has front tires. This is what happens when you let someone you THINK you can trust try to 'help'...

i'm out 500 for sure because he paid money i gave him to 'fix' my car to someone else... he still has 200 of my money and he's avoiding me.. i'll probably never see that money again.. why do ppl have to cheat and steal and lie? why? is it so much to ask ppl to just be like yourself? to actually do whats RIGHT?!?

i just need someone to hold me and tell me it'll be okay... to at least make me feel like it might work out, cuz right now... any semblance of hope is gone...

Alright, so after a very frustrating 3 weeks of having a car with a blown transmission, everything seems to have come together for me all at the same time. I was trying to sell my car for $1000 and got an offer for half that. While it's only half what I was hoping for, it's something I've settled on. Getting that in cash on tuesday or wednesday so that I can put that towards a downpayment for another car.

On THAT front, I have a really great prospect. I drove over to a lot about 30 minutes from my home town today to do some shopping and test drove a car. I don't really remember what it was because I didn't like it, so talking to the sales rep, his name was Dave, he told me they might have some up top that would fit my budget that I might like better, since I was looking in the lower 40 lot. He calls up to the regular sales place and gets a sales person on the phone. In talking with him he mentions to the guy "The kid's from ********, you know everyone from there, you might know him. His name is Tim ****. Oh, you do know him! Great, I'll send him your way!" Turns out he was the father of someone I graduated with and a daughter of his was a friend who I performed a few musicals with. I'm thinking "GREAT! I can trust this guy!"

We get to his office and start talking about a few cars he's got in my price range, but most of them were standards, which I don't know how to drive >_<

Then another rep walks past and Dan flags him down.

"Hey, have we got anything in recently that would be about 200 a month?"
"I just got a Taurus in an hour ago that might fit that rate, wanna look at it?"

Dan pulls the car around and I'm stunned! It's a 2005 that looks like it just came off the sales floor! And it only has 31k miles!! I take it for a test drive and it drives like a dream!! The woman who had it before just traded it in, she used it as a grocery getter and to go to church and that was it!

We get back and he tells me they could sell it to me for 8,999!!!! I filled out some financing paper work and now I'm just waiting to hear back from them about whether they can get me financed or not.

I'm really hoping this works out, the car couldn't be more perfect unless it was brand new.
